The last time we were told Beyoncé deserved an award more than its recipient was when Kanye West relieved a stunned Taylor Swift of her MTV Moon Man back in 2009, and insisted the Single Ladies singer had been robbed of the accolade.

Thankfully, this time around, the person doing the insisting was the same person who actually received the gong – the only and only Adele.

After winning a Grammy for Album of the Year last night, the Londoner paid tribute to Beyoncé who shed tears from her seat in the audience as she listened to the When We Were Young singer gush over Lemonade.

And while the vast majority of us celebrated Adele's unbridled adoration for Queen Bey, some corners of Twitter are a little more cynical.

From suggesting Adele mentioned Beyoncé in order to avoid being considered racist (say what?) to others insisting Beyoncé didn't deserve the praise, not everyone was as impressed by the heartfelt speech as the rest of us.

We'll let Twitter take it from here…

When it comes to epic celeb moments of 2017 (yes, we know we're only six weeks in), Beyoncé announcing that she's pregnant with twins is definitely up there.

From the green veil to the floral backdrop, Queen Bey's big reveal last week got everyone in the industry instantly talking – everyone, that is, except Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson.

While appearing on the red carpet in recent days, Dakota discovered that she was the last to hear that Beyoncé is set to become a mama again.

Looking pretty mortified to have remained in the dark while the rest of the world celebrated Bey and Jay's impending arrivals, Dakota turned to her co-star, Jamie, for support.

And the exchange that ensues is pure squad goals.

When it comes to the various methods employed by celebrities to keep their weight in check, Kendall Jenner's may be one of the most peculiar we've ever heard.

The model, who has walked for the likes of Marc Jacobs and Victoria's Secret, recently informed her fans and followers that her interior decor has more to do with her desire to stop snacking, and less to do with the aesthetics of her home.

We know, we were fairly baffled too.

Revealing the details on her app, Kendall explained how the decision to decorate in order to stave off the munchies came about.

"While I was trying to figure out what I wanted to do with the room, I went for dinner with friends and they had just gone to the Human Condition exhibition at a former hospital in LA," she wrote.

"They were telling me there's a pink room at the exhibit that had an explanation of the colour choice: Baker-Miller Pink is the only colour scientifically proven to calm you and suppress your appetite."

"I was like 'I need this colour in my house!'" she added.

We don't know about you, but we're much more convinced by Kourtney's approach to staying trim…

As anti-Trump narrative intensifies across the United States, it's no surprise many American stars have been asked to voice their opinion on the business tycoon's ascension to the Oval Office.

And the latest actor to tackle that particular line of questioning was Matthew McConaughey.

During an interview with Andrew Marr, the Dallas Buyer's Club star suggested that it might be time to stop railing against the new president, and choose, instead, to accept the fact.

Commenting on Hollywood's disdain, Matthew simply says they don't have a choice but to accept the new president.

"He’s our president. It’s a very dynamic and as divisive of an inauguration and time as we’ve had. At the same time, it’s time for us to embrace, shake hands with this fact, and be constructive with him over the next four years."

Acknowledging the outrage caused by Trump's ideologies, Matthew continued: "Even those who most strongly may disagree with his principles or things he’s said or done – which is another thing, we’ll see what he does compared to what he has said – no matter how much you disagreed along the way, it’s time to think how constructive can you be."

"But he's our president for the next four years, at least," he added.

It's worth noting that it is not yet clear whether the interview took place before or after the introduction of Trump's executive order.

Tributes are currently being made to honour the life of Sopranos actor, Frank Pellegrino, who died yesterday at the age of 72.

Frank, who played FBI Chief Frank Cubitoso in the hit show, passed away after being diagnosed with lung cancer.

Speaking to the press, the actor's friend, Richard 'Bo' Dietl, confirmed the news before paying tribute to his long-term friend.

“I was with Frankie yesterday just after he passed," he told media outlets. "He decided that he wanted to leave and he asked his family to take the plug out. He was one of the bravest people I ever met in my life.”

In addition to playing Chief Cubitoso on The Sopranos, Frankie was also known for his roles in Goodfellas and Law & Order, and was a well-known figure on the gastronomy scene in New York.

Co-owner of the landmark restaurant Rao’s in New York, Frankie's establishment was often used to shoot scenes for TV and movie.

While Khloé Kardashian has definitely taken centre-stage with her body overhaul in recent years, there's no denying that her older sister, Kourtney, is looking better than ever.

And as she's only dying to share her top tips for staying trim, we're more than happy to listen, especially since she's not advocating a booze-free, clean-living lifestyle which, frankly, we don't know if we could maintain.

Taking to her website this week, the mum-of-three reminds us that while alcohol is chock-full of empty calories, that doesn't mean you need to abstain completely.

Unless, of course, you want to.

"Cocktails are often mixed with juice or soda – not only high in calories, but sugar too," she writes. "Aside from drinking too much, the sugar content in drinks is often what accounts for bad hangovers."

"When I do drink, I go for either tequila on the rocks, beer or wine. If you’re cutting down on sugar, it’s good to know that rosé wine usually has less sugar than red or white," she tells her followers.

And while the eldest Kardashian may refuse to give up tequila, the same can't be said for fizzy drinks which she happily waved goodbye to at the beginning of her health and fitness journey.

"I don’t drink soda – ever!” she explains. “I drink a ton of water during the day and I also drink a glass of water mixed with two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar twice a day (in the morning and at night)."

Now, we're on board with the rosé, but vinegar water is a different story.

There were few among us who didn't pull up a seat to The Taylor Swift Show in 2016.

From her romance with Tom Hiddleston to her feud with Kim and Kanye, the Shake It Off singer was forced to justify her every move, and rarely a day passed when her name didn't hit the headlines.

With the benefit of hindsight, her mate, Ed Sheeran, has decided to offer an insight into the singer's approach to her career and controversy.

Speaking to GQ magazine recently, the Castle on the Hill singer compared himself to the Grammy Award-winner.

"There’s an underdog element to it. Taylor Swift was never the popular kid in school. I was never the popular kid in school," he explained.

“Then you get to the point when you become the most popular kid in school – and we both take it a bit too far.”

Elaborating on their joint approach to their careers, Ed continued: "She wants to be the biggest female artist in the world and I want to be the biggest male artist in the world."

Appearing to defend Taylor against criticism levelled at her over the course of the last 12 months, Ed added: "It also comes from always being told that you can’t do something and being like, ‘Eff you, I can."

Sounds like Tay's squad needs a male member…

Last Sunday marked the 9th anniversary of Heath Ledger's untimely passing in January 2008, and with almost a decade to reflect on her partner's death, Michelle Williams reveals that her outlook on life has altered considerably.

Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, the acclaimed actress, who starred opposite Heath in Brokeback Mountain, explained that in the aftermath of Heath's passing, she understandably struggled with the implications of moving on with her young daughter, Matilda.

"At that time, I was inconsolable, because I felt, 'How will he be able to find us?’" she told the publication. "This is where we lived, and he won't know where we are. And now I can't believe I thought that."

Turning her attention to the future, the star, who rose to fame on Dawson's Creek, reveals that the heartbreaking experience has left her with a practical view of relationships and motherhood.

"It's hard to romanticise romance when you're 36. When you've been a parent for 11 years and you've done it alone, you don't have romantic ideals, because you have a practical understanding that you can do it by yourself."

Having lost Heath at the age of 28, the mother of one explains that his passing eradicated certain ideals she had internalised from a young age.

"The romantic idea of meeting your person and having a storybook family life that looks like the model you grew up with – that doesn't really exist for me."

Heath and Michelle began dating in 2004 and their daughter was born the following year.

Last week Chrissy Teigen took to Twitter to share her dismay over the lengths some paparazzi will go to in order to provoke a reaction from high-profile personalities.

Drawing on her own experience, the popular model revealed that her husband, John Legend, had been recently compared to a monkey by a clamouring photographer while making his way through JFK international airport.

And over the weekend, the All Of Me singer chose to discuss the shocking incident while speaking to Variety.

"We looked at each other like 'Did he really just say that?'' And he really said it." John recalled. "He basically called me a monkey."

"Black folks have had to deal with being called monkeys for a long time and dehumanisation has always been kind of a method of racism and subjugation of black people and that’s just part of American history – and it’s part of the present, apparently," he continued.

In an articulate assessment of treatment experienced by the former US President during his time in office, John continued: "We saw with the former president, Obama, whenever people wanted to discount him or discount his wife, they compared them to apes"

"And we’ve seen that frequently," he argued.

Adding that he refuses to allow racism to dictate his outlook on life, John added: "I’m not hurt by someone saying that to me because I’m smarter, I’m stronger."

"I look down on that person that would say something like that. But it’s a shame that it still exists," he reasoned.

Fans were left devastated in 2015 when news landed that Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale had called time on their 13-year marriage.

Having met and began a relationship in the mid 90s, their relationship was lauded as one of the most enduring in the music industry.

But with rumours swirling that the Bush frontman had been having a three-year affair with the family's nanny, the public began assuming Gavin had wanted out of the marriage for a long time.

But according to a recent interview, the last thing the British musician wanted was to see his marriage to the No Doubt singer come to an end.

Speaking to Fabulous magazine, 51-year-old Gavin insisted: "Divorce was completely opposite to what I wanted. Really not… But here we are."

Insisting that the demise of his marriage to the mother of his three children was a devastating experience, Gavin didn't hold back when reflecting on that tumultuous time.

"Apart from death, I think divorce is one of the hardest, most painful things to go through," he admitted.

And while Gwen has moved on with country star Blake Shelton, Gavin's three sons are keen for their dad to do the same.

"They want me to get a girlfriend and examine me if a name pops up on a text," he revealed.

Gavin and Gwen are parents to 10-year-old Kingston, eight-year-old Zuma and three-year-old Apollo.

Chrissy Tiegen took to Twitter last night to draw attention to the lengths paparazzi will go to in order to get a 'good' photograph of a celebrity in public.

In a series of angry tweets, the Lip Sync Battle presenter explained that she and her husband, John Legend, had been making their way through JFK airport when they were confronted by a pap who attempted to provoke a reaction from them.

Explaining that the pap had made a racist remark towards the All Of Me singer, Chrissy wrote: "Paparazzi at JFK just asked me "if we evolved from monkeys, why is John Legend still around?" – and people wonder why celebs lose it in pics."

"I was very kind. Answered cooking questions, then he came with that. Fu*king disgusting. Also, John is right next to me. The balls." she added.

And according to the mum-of-one, that particular photographer didn't leave it there.

"He also went from "what's an easy recipe to make at home" to "if a Jew were a vampire, would he still be afraid of crosses?" Chrissy told her followers who number in their millions.

Explaining to fans that she refused to respond in anger, Chrissy wrote: "They live for that photo and lawsuit."

Responding to Chrissy's series of post last night, her fans attempted to placate her, with one writing: "Oh my god. well let me add to the much needed positivity and say that you and your family are amazing people."

Agreed.

Right so, let's start at the beginning.

An evolutionary biologist named Vazrick Nazari has recently identified a new moth in Southern California.

And this moth just happens to have a head of silky yellow scales and a 'comparatively smaller' penis than that of its close relative Neopalpa neonata.

As a result of these particular features, good ol' Nazrick has decided to name his discovery Neopalpa donaldtrumpi.

That's right, ladies. This flaxen-haired creature with the small genitalia has been named after the 45th President of the United States of America.

And Twitter absolutely loves it.

"That moth will Make America Great one day too,"  wrote one while another remarked: "Hence forward , the grabus vaginus moth."

And that, ladies, is your weird news of the day.
