It took for them to reunite before we finally got a proper insight into their high-profile split back in 2013, but Liam Hemsworth has finally delivered on that front.

In a candid interview with GQ Australia, the Aussie star admitted that the decision to part easy with Miley Cyrus was far from ways, but something that definitely needed to be done at that point in their lives.

"Of course it was hard, man," he admitted. "But we were both going in different directions and it's just what needed to happen."

While the couple, who have been back together for the last six months, are now reportedly set to tie the knot, Liam insists that he doesn't regret the decision to call time on his romance with the Wrecking Ball singer.

"We were both super young and it was a good decision at the time  – we both needed that," he said as he reflected on their time together.

"I make my decisions about what's going to make me happy, what I think is right and what I want to do – and I don't worry too much outside of that," he added.

And what has he to say about the reports that he'll be whisking Miley up the aisle sooner rather than later?

"People will figure it out, they already have," he said of the giant sparkler his girlfirend is currently rocking. "They're not dumb."

Damn right, we're not!

In recent years, we've seen a dramatic increase in the number of high-profile names who have opened up about their personal struggles with mental illness.

And while so many of us seek to establish an open dialogue when it comes to issues surrounding mental health, we still have a long way to go.

In an effort to contribute to the conversation, 2FM presenter, Eoghan McDermott, has made the decision to chat openly about his experience of mental illness.

Speaking to The Independent, the popular presenter said: "A while ago, I was asked to be an ambassador for Pieta House."

"When I got to know all the great work they did [helping to prevent suicide and self-harm], I felt a little disingenuous being involved without being honest about my own situation."

The Voice of Ireland presenter admitted that there come a point some years ago when he realised he was in over his head and in desperate need of help.

While things may have been looking good on the outside, he was struggling to deal with relationship problems, saying: "I was in a good place in my life in terms of work. I was hosting a drive-time radio show on a famous London station, Xfm. But I had just broken up with a long-term girlfriend."

“I went through a period of self-harming and a little spate of depression. I was a bit withdrawn in myself. And also, I was in a new place, so I wasn’t surrounded by my regular family and friends," he explained. "I had never had any kind of emotional adversity before and I just didn’t handle it well."

The 33-year-old eventually sought help from a friend and insists that reaching out is so important.

"Once you make that breakthrough by talking about it, the world becomes a much less daunting place. Ever since then, I have taken care of my mental health, and now I feel very resilient."

Fair play, Eoghan.

It takes some serious b*lls to snub Anna Wintour, but it looks like Gabriel Byrne has them if his recent comments are anything to go by.

The Irish actor, who is currently up for a Tony Award for his role in Long Day’s Journey Into Night, proved he's definitely of a certain generation and heritage when he decided to curse out Vogue's editor-in-chief.

We've watched The Devil Wears Prada enough times to know that snubbing a woman of Anna's calibre is an absolute no-go, but it looks like good ol' Gabriel never got the memo.

Upon hearing that the queen of fashion herself wanted to style the 66-year-old Dubliner for the upcoming award ceremony, Gabriel reportedly told The Financial Times: "I couldn’t give a f***. Stylist? Style myself, I say."

While admitting that being acknowledged by the industry is always welcome, the down-to-earth star of the Usual Suspects insists that we may have our priorities just a little messed up.

"It’s nice to be called up to the front of the class but we make way too much of awards," he said before adding. "When are plumbers going to be recognised for what they do?"

Something tells us Ms. Wintour isn't going to make a second offer.

Whether we like it or not, Hollywood can be one hell of a superficial place – something which Kate Beckinsale reminded us of during a recent interview with Graham Norton.

Appearing on the Corkman's chat show over the weekend, the British actress admitted that while filming Pearl Harbour in 2001, her talent as an actress was much less important than the emphasis which was placed on her physical appearance.

Opening up about her first meeting with director Michael Bay, 42-year-old Kate joked: "I think he was baffled by me because my boobs weren't bigger than my head and I wasn't blonde. I don't think I fit the type of actress Michael Bay had met before."

Admitting that securing the role hinged one particular condition, Kate continued: "But [I] was told that if I got the part, I'd have to work out. And I just didn't understand why a 1940s nurse would do that."

And the scrutiny didn't stop there either, ladies.

Telling Graham and the audience that her director made a point of categorising her looks on each and every press junket, Kate explained: "When he was asked about me, he'd say, ‘Kate wasn't so attractive that she would alienate the female audience.’”

"He kept saying it everywhere we went, and we went to a lot of places," she added.

We know what we'd have like to have done to him…

Singer Demi Lovato has taken to Instagram to pay tribute to her great-grandmother who died over the weekend.

The touching post shows the Confident singer lying on a bed with her 93-year-old great-grandmother Mimaw and calls her "the world's most special woman".

The former Disney Channel star said: "There is an emptiness in my heart that only her spirit can fill and I pray that I will feel her by my side every single day until we meet again".

This morning I lost my world and the world's most special woman. I miss her more than words can even describe. There is an emptiness in my heart that only her spirit can fill and I pray that I will feel her by my side every single day until we meet again. I attribute my strength to her.. She held on when she lost the love of her life.. The one she was married to for 53 years. She smiled even though she lost a son just this year. She told everyone she loved them every single chance she got and she joked even when her strokes left her unable to speak properly. The smile that she had not only could light up a whole room but it most definitely lit up the entire nursing home. She was my great-grandmother but we were so close that I never knew it was possible that anyone could have the bond that we shared even 70 years a part. The pain I feel is almost unbearable but because of her strength I will power through it. The love and support I have received has been empowering and so special to me.. I love all of you so much and I am forever grateful for the prayers, texts and fan art my Lovatics have made me. Thank you. Mimaw, I hope you are with Papa now.. I hate that I can't hear your voice but I love that you are no longer in pain. I love you so much and I miss you more than anyone could ever imagine. I'll miss your smile, your wittiness, painting your nails and your kisses. I really do love you more. Rest in peace and most importantly rest in the Lord. #RIPMimaw

She goes on to attribute her own personal strength of character to Mimaw and praises her for remaining strong when she lost her husband last year and her son, Lovato's uncle Jeff, in January: "She held on when she lost the love of her life..The one she was married to for 53 years.  She smiled even though she lost a son just this year."

The singer-songwriter also thanked her fans for their support at this difficult time.

She said: "The love and support I have received has been empowering and so special to me.. I love all of you so much and I am forever grateful for the prayers, texts and fan art my Lovatics have made me. Thank you."

The heartfelt share was followed by a second Instagram post again dedicated to the much-loved family member.

The black and white collage shows a variety of photographs of Mimaw and is captioned with a broken heart.

We're thinking of you, Demi.

We all know that the Kardashian family are a well-oiled money making machine, but there's something just a little off about the latest reports emerging about the infamous Calabasas clan.

While Rob's soon-to-be wife, Blac Chyna, is still months from her due date, that hasn't stopped the press speculating on how much money the newest Kardashian arrival will bring in for its new parents.

According to reports on TMZ, the current talk in Hollywood suggests that the couple's first child could net its mum and dad a cool $1 million.

But by the sounds of things, Rob and Chyna are going to have to 'work' for that money and one cute snap of the new arrival just won't fly.

According to the website, the only Kardashian son will have to star in the pic alongside his newborn and its momma, and they are going to have to spill a few deets to keep fans happy.

Commenting on the potential set-up, TMZ reports that they'll have to provide "a sappy interview, 'candid' home photos, and a sprinkle of Kardashian secrets" in order to seal the deal.

We wonder what Rob and Chyna will have to say about this!

As well as being known for her incredible vocals and super slick songwriting skills, Adele is also revered for having a pretty glorious sense of humour, but it looks like even this Londoner has her limits.

Proving that she's no walkover during a recent gig in Verona this weekend, the When We Were Young singer called out a member of the audience for filming her entire performance.

And by the sounds of Adele's no-holds-barred venting session from the stage,. it wasn't a sneaky clip on her iPhone that the lady in question was going for either.

In a moment which another member of the audience (ironically) caught on camera, Adele can be heard saying: "I want to tell that lady as well, can you stop filming me with the video camera because I'm really here in real life."

"You can enjoy it in real life rather than through a camera. Can you take your tripod down?<" she asked before continuing "This isn't a DVD, this is a real show."

Reminding her fan how fortunate she was to be there in person, Adele finished the on-stage venting session by saying: "I would really like you to enjoy my show because there are lots of people outside who couldn't come in."

Getting a bo**ocking from Adele – can you think of anything worse?

Break-ups are never easy, but when they're played out in the glare of the media spotlight there's no doubt that they're one hundred times harder as rapper, Professor Green, is currently discovering.

Having parted ways from his wife of two-and-a-half years, Millie Mackintosh, back in February, it looks like the Just Be Good To Green singer is struggling to come to terms with the fact that she is clearly moving on.

With the former Made in Chelsea star seemingly back on with ex-boyfriend, Hugo Taylor, Millie has wasted no time sharing snaps of their re-blossoming romance on social media, and her ex-husband is not happy.

Having lived it up with Hugo at the Grand Prix this weekend, Millie finished her round-up of snaps with a photo that shows the pair getting their smooch on, writing: "What a perfect end to an amazing weekend."

Appearing to respond to the photo moments after the snap was uploaded, Millie's ex-husband pointedly tweeted: "Money really can't buy you class, can it?"

The singer was inundated with messages of support following his tweet, with fans flooding his page to offer words of advice.

"You don't know me, but from what I've seen of you, you're better than that, easier said than done, but rise above it," wrote one fan while another tweeted: "No, but your health is your wealth as my Dad always says. Your real love will come, one that deserves you, chin up."

Sad times.

Following the announcement of his split from Amber Heard last week, Hollywood superstar, Johnny Depp, has faced serious press scrutiny, and it doesn't look like things are about to get better any time soon.

In addition to being accused of domestic abuse, the actor has now learned that his latest Tinseltown offering has officially tanked at the box office.

With Alice Through the Looking Glass expected to take in a whopping $70 million in its opening weekend, the news that it fell massively short of that figure is not going to sit well with moviemakers.

Pulling in just $28 million in its first weekend, the Alice in Wonderland sequel failed to set the box office alight, with the press suggesting that his recent headlines may have been a contributing factor.

According to Deadline, however, industry analysts have contradicted that point, insisting that earlier reviews are likely to have swayed the public's opinion.

The news comes after Johnny's former partner and teenage daughter have defended him against allegation of domestic abuse, with Vanessa Pardis writing: "He is a sensitive, loving and loved person, and I believe with all my heart that these recent allegations being made are outrageous."

"In all these years I have known Johnny he has never been physically abusive with me and this looks nothing like the man I lived with for 14 wonderful years," she insisted.

Johnny and Amber have been married for 15 months.

After four years together, Roz Purcell has announced that she and Bressie have decided to call time on their relationship.

Taking to Instagram in the last hour, the popular model and food blogger uploaded a sweet shot of herself and Bressie before explaining that the time had come for them to part ways, writing: "Myself and Niall decided to end our relationship some time ago."

In a tribute to the relationship they once shared, Roz continued: "We are still friends and love each other very much."

"We won't be saying anything else about it so appreciate if you could respect that," she added.

Unsurprisingly, the news has come as a bolt from the blue for the former couple's fans, with one writing: "Sorry to hear. Wishing you both the best for the future and your new paths" while another added: "Two very genuine and kind people… did a lot for others together."

Aw, break-ups are never easy so we're wishing them both all the best.

There's something about seeing celebrities roast each other that we all totally love, but when they do it to the sound of serious beats?! Well. we literally can't get enough.

Facing James Corden in a rap battle last night, everyone's favourite Friend, David Schwimmer, proved that he's definitely no pushover when it comes to trash talk.

Like his character on Friends, David obviously spent some time 'working on his music', and, ladies, he let James Corden HAVE it.

The British host gave as good as he got though and went to TOWN on David's flailing career since taking his last sip of coffee in Central Perk back in 2004.

And if that wasn't good enough, out comes Rebel Wilson who, unsurprisingly, absolutely slaaaaaayed.

This is too good to miss out on, and we cannot stop laughing.

We don't often think we've much in common with Cara Delevingne, but if she really does see the truth in her latest Instagram upload, then we may actually be on the same page as the British model.

In a video post which she shared on social media today, Cara reassured us that when it comes to our shower routine, us girls are pretty much all the same.

We spend most of the week using dry shampoo and totally avoid shaving – also known as shower yoga with blades – so when we do finally get down to the nitty-gritty of it all, we don't KNOW ourselves.

We're smooth, we're silky, we're oh-so sexy, and like our good friend Peter Griffin proves, we're super-slick too.

"Rub my leg! Rub my leg! Smoooooth, right?"
