According to emerging reports, Celebrity Big Brother bosses chose not to air distressing scenes involving Sam Fox on account of being 'genuinely concerned' for the 50-year-old's health and welfare.

This series of the long-running reality show has been widely considered one of its most controversial, and there's no doubt the high drama has taken its toll on some of the show's contestants – something which has raised alarm among show's producers.

Upon noticing that 80s popstar Sam appeared to be struggling, Big Brother called her to the diary room where she was ultimately treated by medics.

Speaking to the Daily Star, a Celebrity Big Brother insider explained: "Sam was not well at all. She was called to the diary room because they were concerned about her health."

"She had a full-blown panic attack. It got pretty serious and they were genuinely concerned," they continued.

In scenes which viewers were not shown, Sam, who has appeared in numerous reality shows including I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here,  was treated and given medication for her anxiety.

"Medics were sent in to make sure she was OK and not at serious risk," the insider revealed. "They even had to give her medication to help her calm down."

Celebrity Big Brother viewers will be aware the former popstar has been having difficulty while taking part in the now infamous reality television show.

When it comes to parents of a certain age and social media of a certain type, we're just a little iffy.

While they may have Facebook figured out – and sign off each and every comment with 'Mary and the kids' – that doesn't mean they have the whole shebang nailed.

And when it comes to keeping certain things under wraps, they can't always be trusted as Queen Bey recently learned.

While the star has kept her Instagram updated with the best of them, fans were pretty certain the Halo singer had yet to make her way over to Snapchat… but it looks like they were wrong.

In a move which has 'classic Mam' written all over it, it looks like Tina Knowles has let the cat out of the bag, and revealed that her world-famous daughter has a secret Snapchat account.
 

Taking to Instagram yesterday, Tina shared a faceswap video of herself which she says Beyoncé sent her.

"My baby Beyonce sent me this," Tina wrote. "It's really cool! I have to learn how to do this."

"Her face and my face together. Her voice coming out of my mouth. Or maybe it's her mouth. Hell I don't know! No Snapchat, seriously!" she continued.

Leaping on Tina's comments, social media users wasted no time highlighting the leak in the momager's upload.

"Bey's gotta snapchat and she's hiding it from us!" wrote one while another added: "We need to find out Beyoncè's snapchat!"

Good one, Tina.

Huge congratulations this morning to Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green who have become parents for a third time.

The pair have welcomed their third little boy together and his name is as uniquely beautiful as his brothers.

Three-year-old Noah and two-year-old Bodhi have now become big brothers to little Journey River Green.

It was announced back in April that the actress was pregnant after the Megan and Brian had split the previous year.

And after many tabloids speculated that Brian may not have been the father, Megan shut down the rumours in one simple post.

A short while later news broke that the couple of ten years had reconciled for baby number three.

Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel in May, Megan spoke about getting messages from the womb saying:

“You don’t hear an audible voice, but you hear messages, if you’re open to it,” explained Megan, who is mum to three-year-old Noah and two-year-old Bodhi.

She added: “For instance, this baby wanted me to live somewhere else, so we’re moving to a whole different place in Los Angeles because I feel like that’s where this baby wants to be raised.”

Congratulations again to the couple on the arrival of their new baby boy.

It's hard to believe that it's been almost two decades since Posh and Becks tied the knot in a lavish ceremony in Dublin's Luttrellstown Castle, isn't it?

Two years after becoming one of the most high-profile couples in the world and just months after welcoming their first child, David and Victoria said 'I do', and today the footballer has paid tribute to that milestone moment in his life.

Taking to Instagram with a throwback snap of their wedding day, 41-year-old David wrote "Wow 17 years ago to this day this happened… I was lucky to meet someone who has the same drive and wanted the same things in life."

"We have created 4 beautiful children that I couldn't wish for a more loving and caring mummy for them," he continued. "Happy anniversary I love u." (sic)

Equally moved by memories of their special day, Victoria also took to Instagram this morning to share a snap of the pair hugging, and wrote: "I feel so loved and truly blessed. My best friend,my love."

"The kindest man who inspires me every day," she continued. "Happy Anniversary to the best husband and daddy in the world!! EVER!"

The couple's posts have clocked up more than half a millions likes between them, with fans of the world-famous family rushing to congratulate Posh and Becks on their anniversary.

"Happy anniversary to both of you, inspiring couple," wrote one while another tagged a fellow follower and commented: "I hope we find our David Beckham one day."

Relationship goals at its very best.

Music manager by day, animal rights activist by night?

He might be best known for working alongside Simon Cowell on The X Factor, but Louis Walsh is also an animal rights campaigner.

The former Westlife manager has written to the government asking for the use of wild animals in Irish circuses to be banned.

In the letter – which was sent with the help of animal rights groups PETA and ARAN – Louis claims circus animals perform because they are afraid of being beaten.

He wrote: “My career has given me a deep appreciation for the determination and talents of human performers. "

"They do what they do because they love to entertain, and the joy it gives them is apparent the minute they come on stage. That is not true for animals who are used in circuses.”

“They don’t stand on their heads, ride bicycles or perform other demeaning, often painful tricks willingly.  They do so because if they don’t, they will be whipped, beaten with a steel-tipped bullhook or shocked with an electric prod,” he said.

The letter asks Minister for Agriculture Michael Creed to ban the use of wild animals in circuses as has been done in a number of other European countries.

Walsh says not banning these performances is “like putting out a welcome mat for animal abusers”.

We wonder what the response will be…

But one young woman, who has decided to take her cue from the braver interviewers in the industry, is the wickedly funny Carly Fleischmann.

Despite the fact Carly has had to use a computer to communicate since a very young age, she has established a YouTube series called Speechless with Carly Fleischmann which will see the hugely likeable young woman grill her favourite celebs.

As one of the curvier ladies in the Hollywood set, actress Rebel Wilson is no stranger to discussing issues surrounding her weight, fitness and appearance.

In fact, the Pitch Perfect star once gave a fairly withering assessment of her own strength levels, saying: "Who can train for a marathon? I'm currently training to be able to blow-dry and straighten my own hair without taking a break."

But it looks like the 36-year-old Aussie star has had a change of heart on this front if her recent Instagram upload is anything to go by.

Explaining that she had recently spent four days at an exclusive Hollywood retreat, the Bridesmaids star said: "OMG just finished 4 fantastic days at #TheRanch4.0 …so challenging but very rewarding!"

Revealing that the challenging retreat had had a huge impact on her appearance, she continued: "Not to mention I lost 8 pounds from marathon hiking over the 4 days!" 

Seriously? Eight lbs in four days? 

Rebel finished her post by paying tribute to the people involved in her secret trip away, writing: "Thanks to the amazing staff and masseuses (free daily massages are part of the program)!! Feeling great!"

Fans of the actress were all over the news, writing: "You inspire me you, hilarious, beautiful, woman! My fat ass needs to do some hills!!! You look amazing!"

Seriously, fair play.

A week after welcoming baby daughter Luna Simone into their lives, Chrissie Teigen and John Legend decided to treat themselves to meal out…and a few too many people have gone absolutely BALLISTIC about it.

Slamming the high-profile new mama for deciding to grab a bite with her husband, one Instagram user wrote: "She’s hitting the streets already?"

"Damn these so-called celebrities want to show off so bad after giving birth. Spend bonding time with your baby and not let the nanny or babysitter raise them."

In classic Chrissie style, the Sports Illustrated model refused to take the comments lying down, and last night tweeted an example of the backlash she's received from uptight members of the public.

 
Thankfully, some of Chrissie's more level-headed fans wasted no time coming to the star's rescue with a few words of support online.

"Regardless of what you do as a mum you will always be judged, doesn't matter if you are a famous model on Instagram or an 'average' mum walking down the street," wrote one top-notch fan.

Oh, and of course Chrissie had the last word on the ridiculous online dispute last night when she was asked how Luna was doing….

Since Prince's untimely passing on Thursday, we have heard from countless Hollywood heavy-hitters on the impact the Purple Rain singer had on them and their careers, but none of have pulled on our heartstrings as much as Lady Gaga's.

Taking to Instagram yesterday, the Til It Happens to You singer honoured the pint-sized pop sensation with a touching tribute which has us contemplating EVERYTHING this morning.

"I tend to believe that when we die our souls hover for at least a moment if not longer before they either rest or are recycled into the consciousness of an already living being or maybe a newborn baby," she wrote. 

"Isn't it amazing Prince shared his soul with us so deeply before his death, and now after we will be replenished endlessly by both his legacy and all that he still has to give from the beyond."

"Thank you for sharing your life with us Prince," she continued. "Giving up your anonymity because you felt compelled to share your gift. We learned so much."

The 30-year-old Grammy Award-winner finished the post which was accompanied by an iconic shot fo the Raspberry Beret singer by writing:" You just found God early, he needed you upstairs to innovate in heaven."

Unsurprisingly, the post has proved hugely popular, clocking up almost a quarter of a million likes since its upload this weekend.

We've always known Amy Huberman was every Irish girl's spirit animal, and yesterday she went and proved it, didn't she?

Taking to Instagram during one of the warmest days this year, the popular actress snapped a shot of her bare legs and accompanied it with a post that just SPOKE to us.

Rocking a pair of fringed ankle boots and a floral skirt, the Threesome star celebrated the momentous day in Irish history, writing: "First bare leg of the year."

Going on to prove that she knows the struggles of an Irish summer all too well, the star finished up with the perfect summation of what it means to live on our fair green isle.

"I reckon if I stand in direct sunlight wrapped in tinfoil holding a hot water bottle sipping whiskey from a hip flask I might not die. Wish me luck."

She bounced onto the mainstream early last year and has been in the limelight ever since – but Amy Schumer has revealed that she doesn't think her fame is going to last much longer.

While on USA Today, the comedienne opened up about being a major celebrity in the past 12 months.

"Do you guys know that I'm really famous now?" she began.

"I think it's going to last another six months. I didn't know what being famous would be like. You can imagine, and then it actually really blows."

Even though Amy doesn't think her fame will last another much longer, she already has a fifth season of Inside Amy Schumer lined up for 2017, so we doubt she's going to be going back to normal life anytime soon.
