So, if you've ever planned, been involved in or even just attended a wedding, you'll know all about the pressure and stress the day can bring.

It's not really a matter of if something will go wrong, it's a matter of when and how many times, until you eventually succumb to the fact that not everything will be perfect and it doesn't have to be.

Well, that's if the wedding even happens.

One American bridesmaid has taken to Twitter to share a dramatic tale of the wedding that never was, and oh boy are you in for a treat.

Get ready for a story a love, loss and extreme paintballing.

@starlightgeek first sparked our interest with this intriguing tweet:

And of course, we were immediately hooked.

It gets better.

This bride wasn't wasting any tears and instead had the perfect reaction to her finance's infidelity.

But wait – PLOT TWIST.

Wouldn't surprise us to be honest…

But of course, the bride did what we would all do in that situation…

What. A. Rollercoaster.

So, there are many reasons why people stray when they're in committed relationships.

Perhaps they feel unloved by their partner, maybe they're just bored – either way, there is no justifiable reason to cheat on a significant other.

However, it now seems there might be some external factors making us more likely to do so.

A new study has revealed that people with tattoos are more likely to have a passionate affair (apparently).

What's more, it seems women are the biggest offenders with many baring secret tattoos that are only revealed during an intimate encounter.

Now, this information should be taken with a pinch of salt, as the study was conducted by a dating website devoted to married people looking for a fling on the side.

VictoriaMilan surveyed more that 3 million of its members across 16 countries about their body art, and the result were quite interesting.

Scandinavian women were found to be the most likely to have tattoos, with Denmark coming in first place (42.3 per cent), followed closely by Finland (41.1 per cent) and Sweden (40.8 per cent)

Falling just short of a top three spot, Ireland came in at number four with 40 per cent of female users saying they have tattoos.

Founder and CEO of VictoriaMilan, Sigurd Vedal, said the results show just how much a tattoo can reveal about a person's personality.

“Tattoos are a sign of personality, creativity and rebellion, and now we know they are a sign that the person probably has a great sex life.”

“This may spark a worldwide hunt to discover the craze for sexy intimate tattoos, as men like to discover things that are seemingly just for them.”

Hmm. We're pretty sceptical about this one to be honest.

We've all read numerous articles about cheating.

For some people, it's always a fear, and whether it's happened to you before or not, there are certain signs that indicate your partner is being unfaithful.

Recent research has revealed that if a woman fakes an orgasm during sex, then they might be more likely to do the dirty on you.

Image result for cheating

Human Female Orgasm as Evolved Signal is a study published in the National Institutes of Health and it studied 250 men and women in heterosexual relationships.

Each man and woman had to talk about their sex lives, their previous infidelities and how many times they orgasm.

The research showed that there was a strong connection between women who faked the big O and then went on to cheat on their significant others.

The hypotheses reads: "Faked orgasm was associated with female sexual infidelity and lower male relationship satisfaction.

"Overall, results were in greater support of the sire choice signalling hypothesis than the female fidelity hypothesis.

"Results also suggest that male satisfaction with, investment in, and sexual fidelity to a mate are benefits that favoured the selection of orgasmic signalling in ancestral females."

So, there you have it.

Last week we thought Gary Beadle had finally decided to grow up when he told his ex Lillie Lexie Gregg that it’s because of her he now knows there’s more to life than partying.

But unfortunately today that hope was dashed as – during the latest episode of Ex On The Beach – Gaz officially admitted to cheating on Lillie while they were together.

When the arrival of the Geordie’s Australian ex Chrysten prompts a string of questions from Lillie, Gaz is forced to reveal his indiscretion.

After Lillie asks the reality star if he saw Chryten while they were visiting Oz as a couple, Gaz awkwardly tells the camera: “Lillie starts questioning me, which makes me question myself.  Then I remember. I kind of slept with Chrysten when I was with Lillie.”

Despite this admission, the 28-year-old TV personality tells Lillie: “No I didn't get with her when you were there, I slept with her a couple of years ago.”  Seriously?

Clearly having a very good understanding of her famous ex, the Lily-Beau London founder pushes: “It shouldn't be a hard thing.  You either cheated on me or you didn't.  You should know, ‘No I definitely didn't’.”

Failing to wiggle his way out of a desperate situation, the Gazmoji creator eventually says: “I didn't cheat on you with her.”

To which Lillie replies: “With her?  But you did cheat on me with other people? I feel like you worded that very wrong.”

Will Gary ever learn?

This Morning viewers were left in a state of confusion yesterday when the show’s host Holly Willoughby told a guest that she could relate to her dramatic story of cheating.

The anonymous mother told Holly and her co-presenter Phillip Schofield how her husband of ten years had been cheating on her with another man and that she only realised his infidelity through hearing the stories of people like her husband through her work with the Samaritans.

She explained to the hosts: “I believe he was being blackmailed, his behaviour became more and more erratic.”

“I was a Samaritan at the time and was talking to a number of people in his position and the more they were telling me the more I suddenly realised this was happening in my own home.”

Rather unexpectedly 35-year-old Holly responded to this statement by saying: “Sounds like my life.”

While Philip did glance at his colleague with a concerned expression, Holly continued on flawlessly with her next question.

Naturally viewers picked up on the strange nature of the exchange and took to social media to discuss the comment.

One Facebook user wrote: “Did she say ‘sounds like my life’!?  Hopefully she’s talking about the past not the present.”  While another said: “No man in their right mind would cheat on her.  They would be mad.”

According to The Sun, a source close to the presenter claimed there was no great secret behind Holly’s statement as she was just “engaging with her guest and empathising just like she always does”.

There’s a school of thought which says women cheat with their emotions while men cheat with their… well, you know.

And if this is indeed the case, it may go some way towards explaining why Irish men are more forgiving when it comes to their partner’s decision to cheat.

According to a survey conducted by IllicitEncounters, women stray because they feel neglected and bored while men are more likely to cheat due to dissatisfaction in the bedroom.

The survey, which harnessed the experiences of 1,000 Irish people, indicated that as a result of this disparity 67 per cent of men are prepared to give their relationship another go after learning of their partner’s infidelity because they, in some way, understand their reasoning.

Us ladies, however, are a much less forgiving bunch, with only 52 per cent of Irish women saying they would stay with their husband after discovering his adultery.

“The phrase hell hath no fury like a woman scorned really does seem to be rooted in fact,” said Christian Grant of IllicitEncounters.

"This new IllicitEncounters research shows that women really do react much more badly to cheating that men and that a husband's adultery is more likely to end in divorce than a wife's.”

And while we’re more ruthless when it comes to ending a relationship due to a partner’s infidelity, we’re also a lot more stealthy when it comes to our own indiscretions.

According to Christian: “Women are better at covering up their cheating than men and it's clear that there are millions of husbands who have no idea about their wife's illicit behaviour."

“Women date more actively on IllicitEncounters.com than men – enjoying an average of three dates a month compared to men's two.”

Hmmm… not feeling too proud of anyone right now…

It seems that for those of us in a relationship, the last year of every decade in our lives is a major danger-zone when it comes to cheating.

So if you’re 19, or 29 – or more importantly if your partner is – you may want to take heed.

That and the most dangerous age of all for straying is… 39.

The results come from a study of 1,000 people by the somewhat controversial IllicitEncounters.com, a dating website for married people which says it has more than 70,000 Irish members.

It has now revealed it has 18 percent more Irish profiles in years ending in nine than for other years in the decade – suggesting the looming presence of another decade causes concern for some.

IllicitEncounters.com said in a statement today: "Beware of the figure nine – it is the danger age as far affairs are concerned.

"This is applicable to men and women. Both go looking for affairs when they are on the verge of entering a new decade.

"IllicitEncounters.com research shows that some people cheat to get their partner’s attention. If their partner’s a workaholic or unavailable to them, being caught with someone else is a way of saying: ‘Hey, if you love me, pay attention to me!'

"‘Payback cheating’ is also common. If you’ve cheated in the past or done something else to hurt your partner, they might retaliate to get even."

The website added that it sees its subscriptions rise by 25 percent over the summer months.

While Made in Chelsea stars Stephanie Pratt and Louise Thompson mightn’t exactly be BFFs right now, we did not think their relationship had plummeted to the point of throwing shade on Twitter.

But since Stephanie has now openly accused her reality TV co-star of cheating on her ex-boyfriend Alik Alfus back when they were together, we think the girls’ friendship has most definitely hit rock bottom.

Yesterday Stephanie shared a link on Twitter to a Look magazine article which suggests Steph and Alik had been texting behind Louise’s back.

Alongside the link the former Hills star wrote: “Uh no she was shagging her trainer since March.”

The accusation was quickly followed by another Tweet saying: “Blame anyone you can but take responsibility, right?…Yawn, snooze its boring now” (sic).

The 30-year-old American then retweeted a suggestion that Louise had been “getting some on the side” during the last season of the hit reality show, before adding: “Dont call someone good looking, Millie moved on too fast from her hubby BUT you can cheat on ur bf….Riiiiight” (sic).

The petite brunette ended her long-distance relationship with leather designer Alik back in May and – according to OK! – Louise recently confirmed she is in a relationship with her personal trainer Ryan Libbey.

Earlier this summer speculation began that the pair were an item after Louise was spotted getting close to the muscular model while holidaying in the French Riviera.

This is the second time this week the MIC star has been publicly called out on her actions.  On Tuesday Charlotte Crosby hit out at Louise after she criticised the size of the Geordie’s lips in an interview with new! magazine

These days Lindsay Lohan is almost as well known for her bizarre social media presence as she is for her acting achievements and if her latest online revelations are anything to go by, that’s not about to change anytime soon.

In the early hours of this morning, the Mean Girls star used Twitter to make what appears to be a highly unusual form of pregnancy announcement.

While sharing a link to images from her 2009 rom-com Labour Pains, the actress wrote: “Lindsay Lohan labour pains trailer – I am pregnant!!”

Adding to the confusion, Lindsay then used Instagram to share a snap of she and her fiancé Egor Tarabasov together which was captioned: “I guess I was the same at 23…Sh*tty time – it changes at 26/27 @e2505t thanks for not coming home tonight.  Fame changes people.”

Two other recent shares on Lindsay’s account also suggest her 23-year-old partner has cheated on her but further that suggestion by referencing that a Russian prostitute may have been involved.

The first post shows Egor with a group in a nightclub and is captioned: “Wow thanks #fiance with Russian hooker.”

And the second – which was posted shortly after – is of a video of Egor speaking to a man in a club and is accompanied by the statement: “Home?  First time in my life – bare with me/he cheated on me with hooker #meangirls #meanboysu.”

Earlier this month the couple jetted off to the picturesque Greek island Mykonos to celebrate Lindsay’s 30th birthday but while there it was reported that they had an argument which ended with Lindsay throwing Egor’s phone into the sea and Egor pouring a drink over her head.

We hope things get better for Lindsay soon.

As fans of former couple, Diane Kruger and Joshua Jackson, come to terms with the news that they have called time on their relationship, Diane has been forced to defend herself against criticism levelled at her on Instagram.

After posting Jimi Hendrix lyrics which appear to refer to her recent break-up, the 40-year-old actress faced into a barrage of negative comments, which she decided warranted a response.

While she did direct her response at one specific Instagram user, we imagine Diane hoped the reply would resonate with all her online critics.

"You have no idea what is really going on, nor do you know me or Josh," she began in a post to one of her followers yesterday.

"I don't know how your mother raised you and you are certainly entitled to your ignorant opinion, but don't forget that even though we actors are in the public eye, we are also humans," she continued.

With rumours circulating last year that the star was seen kissing Norman Reedus in December, some Instagram users fed into the reports, with one writing: "Poor JJ. He deserved better than to be cheated on by his girl and a friend."

It's always darkest before the dawn

"It's because she has and still is seeing Norman Reedus, watch in a few weeks they will become public," wrote one follower.

Echoing these sentiments, another remarked: "Waiting on the Reedus announcement now – open "secret" at this point."

"Obviously, privacy is important, but I think an official announcement was best," opined another.

"Better everyone KNOWS that you're single rather than see you sneaking around all over Europe when you were publicly supposed to be "committed" to someone else."

Unsurprisingly, the actress felt compelled to weigh in on the discussion, writing: "I feel sorry for your small mindedness and I truly hope that you are never treated as you permit yourself to treat others," she asserted in a post which has been liked thousands of times since its upload.

For most people calling off their engagement would be enough drama to last a lifetime, but unfortunately for Iggy Azalea splitting with hubby-to-be Nick Young seems to have only been the beginning of the storm.

This week the news broke that the reason behind the pair’s split was because Nick’s ex-girlfriend’s is currently pregnant with his child which naturally means he cheated on Iggy during their year-long engagement.

And now the Australian rapper has revealed she had no idea Nick’s ex Keonna Green was expecting until she saw it on TV.

She tweeted: “I have never even been told by Nick that his baby mother is pregnant so if this is true I’m finding out via E news.”

The star then revealed the real reason she broke up with NBA player Nick is because she found proof that he was cheating on her in their shared home.

She wrote: “I broke up with Nick because I found out he had brought other women into our home while I was away and caught them on the security footage.”

Potentially referencing the rumours that Nick had cheated on her with a teenager earlier this year, she continued: “This is just like a second shot to the chest. And I feel like I don't even know who the hell it is I've been loving all this time.”

"People in this wold are really f*cked up."

Addressing claims that Keonna had sold the story of how she got pregnant to the media herself, last night Iggy ended the stream of explosive revelations with: “I find it baffling anyone would make the choice to bring a child into the world under these circumstances + want attention and $ for it.”

“I feel like my body was just drop kicked out of a plane with no parachute.”

With all that's going on, it's little surprise Iggy feels that way.

Suffice to say that breakups are rarely straightforward.

But one disgruntled husband has certainly taken things to the next level – sticking up a load of his wife’s possessions on eBay.

Under the username CalibraSteve, the post reads: "JOB LOT OF ALL OF MY VILE CHEATING EX WIFE'S CLOTHES AND POSSESSIONS."

He furthermore reveals that he has already successfully offered up the couple's Smart Roadaster car – a sale which now has bids of some £1,480 (€1,865) –leading him to post up further items for immediate disposal.

Explaining that his “evil cheating wife couldn't be arsed to collect” the things from their home following their split, he adds: “This whole endeavour was all about me ridding myself of the cheating slime of a woman I'm now proud to a call my ex wife and me getting some closure.

“I was going to burn all of these possessions but I have decided to just sell the whole lot as one complete job lot. It will all go to the highest bidder, nothing will be sold separately!”

On offer is “a heap” of clothes (most of which are a size 10-12), and “some electrical bits”.

He goes on to state: “I want rid of this s*** as it's taking up vital room I could be using to store booze and porn.

“There are designer dresses she wore on our honeymoon which I paid a fortune for, shoes, lots of shoes but apparently since the rotten cow ‘found herself’ she decided she doesn't want material things,” he explains.

“There's some jewellery but I've already taken the gold and expensive stuff to our local jeweller who proceeded to rip me off whilst smiling at me.

“But it's ok cos now I can afford a heap of cheap scotch.”

The Shropshire-based man concludes: “Please help me clear out this pile of utter c**p. Cash on collection only please.”

The lot has now amounted to some £225 (€285) from a total of close-to 40 bids. It will wrap up on June 23.
