The blossoming relationship between Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin has been the subject of much speculation over the last few months, but it seems the pair are finally ready to go public.

Before Christmas there were reports that the unlikely couple had split up as Chris spent more and more time with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow and their children Apple and Moses.

But Jen and Chris reportedly made their first appearance at a high-profile event together over the weekend, when they both attended Harry Style's birthday bash in West Hollywood. According to Mail Online, the lovebirds were there as each other's dates. Hurrah!

The news comes just a month after the on-again-off-again couple were spotted enjoying a quiet dinner together at a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles. At the time, an onlooker said Jennifer and Coldplay frontman Chris "were engulfed in their little world of conversation… into each other and not noticing anyone else around them."  

Other guests at Harry Styles' no-expense-spared 21st party included Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner, Adele, Daivd Beckham, Kelly Osborne and Alexa Chung.

It may not be common knowledge that Gwyneth Paltrow dated Brad Pitt, and perhaps even lesser known that they were actually ENGAGED! Yes, Gwyneth very nearly could have been Jennifer Aniston.

The couple dated for three years, ending their engagement in 1997 and now Gwyneth has opened up about her ex, claiming he was ‘too good for her’. In the interview with Howard Stern, Gwyneth explains how her beloved father, who has since passed away, was devastated about the break-up.

Gwyneth explains that she was so young when they broke up that she didn’t really realise what she was doing: “I was such a kid. It’s taken me until 40 to get my head out of my ass. You can’t make that decision when you’re 22 years-old…I wasn’t ready. He was too good for me … I didn’t know what I was doing.”

And what about Jennifer Lawrence hooking up with her estranged husband, Chris Martin? Well, she approves it would seem! When Howard says she doesn't approve of the actress dating the father of her two children, Gwyneth exclaims: "Who says I don't approve?!" before going on to say that Chris would never be with anyone who wasn't great. D'aww!

Even though they were only officially pictured together once or twice first time around, we didn't need photos as proof that Jennifer Lawrence and Coldplay frontman Chris Martin made a pretty cool couple. So we're delighted to hear that the pair have reportedly rekindled their romance after splitting back in October.

J-Law and Chris, who were together for around three months last year, were pictured out for dinner together in LA shortly after Christmas, with an onlooker commenting that the pair "were engulfed in their little world of conversation… into each other and not noticing anyone else around them."  

If that piece of news wasn't juicy enough, now a source has confirmed that the couple are officially back together. The lovebirds "are still dating and have been dating," an insider told People magazine. "Even though they are both busy, the relationship is solid. They see each other when they can." 

Rumours of a possible reunion between Chris and his ex Gwyneth Paltrow began surfacing late last year after pictures were published of the pair on various family outings with their kids, 10-year-old Apple and 8-year-old Moses.

However Jennifer is content to allow Chris to put his family first, even if that means she sees less of him, says the same source. "She understands that the children come first with Chris and his relationship with Gwyneth is based around the family and it will always be a part of his life… Things are good between them."

When Hollywood’s most zen couple called time on their relationship in March last year, we thought if Gwynnie and Chris can’t make it work, what hope is there for the rest of us.

The couple who share two children with each other and married in 2003 always appeared rock solid which was why their split was met with such surprise.

The couple called the breakdown of their marriage a ‘conscious uncoupling’ (as you do) and 42-year-old Gwyneth has finally decided to open up about the break up.

Both Gwyneth and Coldplay frontman Chris appeared to handle the situation very delicately, but Gwnnie reveals that this wasn’t always the case, saying: “It’s painful, it’s difficult, it might be easier to say ‘I never want to see you again’, but what good does that do anyone?”

The Avengers star credits her ex-husband with putting her back together after the death of her father and it’s clear that the star will always have a place in her heart for the father of her two children, saying: “He just picked me up and he was so loving and patient through all my grieving. He has incredibly empathy when it comes to somebody’s pain.”

Does anyone else wish these two could give it another shot?

If you thought that writing soundtracks for a movie was all fun and games, Chris Martin has a big wake-up call for you.

When asked how Coldplay’s track Miracles for Angelina Jolie’s new movie Unbroken came about, lead singer Chris Martin sensationally claimed that the Hollywood star kidnapped him and forced him to pen the song.

Before you call upon the police to swoop on Brangelina’s home, however, Chris was just joking around!

Showing a rare glimpse into his more fun side during an interview with Vulture, the Magic singer said: “I got a message that said, ‘Meet me in this undisclosed location. You’ll be blindfolded and picked up by seven ex-Navy SEALS.”

He added, jokingly: “So they kidnapped me, hit me over the head, and sprayed me with Mace. When I woke up, I was in an office, and Brad Pitt was doing push-ups as Angelina Jolie was just sitting there with her crown on.”

Given how much media coverage his separation from Gwyneth Paltrow and relationship with Jennifer Lawrence received, we’ll allow Chris some fun time with the media!

Coldplay fans – us included – are not happy today.

In fact, we’re trying not to shed tears as we come to grips with Chris Martin’s latest revelation.

The Coldplay front man last night shared the news that the band are working on what may be their final album.

Yes, we’re sad to say it’s true.

Teasing hints about their new record, A Head Full of Dreams, the star said: “It’s our seventh thing, and the way we look at it, it’s like the last Harry Potter book or something.”

Speaking on BBC Radio 1, Chris added: “Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something. I have to think of it as the final thing we’re doing. Otherwise we wouldn’t put everything into it.”

Excuse us while we reach for the tissues and play Parachutes on repeat.

Chris Martin has revealed the lady behind his hit song Sky Full of Stars – and it’s neither Gwyneth Paltrow nor Jennifer Lawrence!

The Coldplay frontman admitted that the popular tune was actually inspired by none other than Katy Perry!

Chris was speaking on the Beat x Beat podcast when he revealed the unlikely inspiration: “I’ll tell you the truth – I was listening to a lot of Katy Perry. A lot of her songs have the same chord sequence the whole time. Your body feels comfortable with them and then the melody’s changing on top so there’s a groove you really get into and then also you’re kept interested … so I was like, ‘that’s an amazing way of doing songs.’”

Do we sense a duet coming on?!

It was rumoured that Chris Martin and Jennifer Lawrence had decided to go their separate ways two weeks ago – but was it all just that, a rumour?

Now, it’s being reported that the couple will attend the premiere of Jennifer’s upcoming movie, Mockingjay together!

Although it has been said the couple won’t be walking the red carpet together, Chris will attend with Jen – so hopefully we can put all of this speculation to rest!

Apparently, Jen and Chris have been spending a LOT of time together over the past week.

People have reported that they are still very much into each other: “They’re very much together. He’s very much into her and they’re still seeing each other.”

We really wish these two would just go public with their relationship and end all of this on-off speculation!

We were all pretty sad at the news that Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin had decided to “consciously uncouple” after 11 years of marriage.

And while they have shown their split to be extremely amicable, friends are now saying that there may still be more to their relationship than friendship.

A source close to the couple told the Sunday People that friends suspect that they may get back together yet, and that divorce has not even been drawn up.

The source said: “Despite being very different beasts, Chris and Gwyneth adore one another. I suppose it’s a case of they can’t live without one another.

“Talk of officially ending their marriage is not even on the agenda…The chances of there being a happy reconciliation are very high,” they added.

Wow, we certainly did not see that coming.

The comments come just days after it was revealed that Chris and actress Jennifer Lawrence had ended their brief romance.

We kind of loved Chris and Gwyneth as a couple, so here’s hoping they can work things out.

We really thought these two had potential!

Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin have split after just four months of dating.

The couple got together this summer, after Coldplay frontman Chris parted ways with his wife of ten years, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Jen broke up with actor Nicholas Hoult.

Jen was the one that called things off with Chris, according to reports, although the main reason for the split was the couple's "insane" schedules. "They really like each other, but it's just so complicated with so much going on," a source told Us Weekly.

There has also been some speculation that Jen wasn't happy with her man's increasing closeness with his ex. The break-up comes just a few days after Chris was spotted out for dinner in LA with Gwyneth. Paps even snapped a picture of Gwyn stroking Chris' face as the pair said goodbye.

Hmmm!

J-Law has spoken of late about her desire for a simple, uncomplicated relationship, saying she'd prefer to find someone who "isn't afraid to fart in front of me" instead of "big, passionate love," Far from wanting drama and glamour, the American Hustle star told Vanity Fair she'd "rather have just a peaceful time."

Although Chris and Jen tried to keep things quiet at the beginning of their short-lived relationship, it soon became apparent there was romance in the air. Reports were confirmed last month when the pair were spotted at the iHeartRadio festival together, and Jen's mum even flew to LA recently to meet Chris.

So it looks as though Chris Martin has passed one of the biggest tests of any relationship: meeting the parents!

Yes, apparently Jennifer Lawrence is quite smitten with the Coldplay frontman, so much so that she recently introduced him to her mother.

This is always a scary ordeal, so we’re glad to hear that Chris passed the ‘mummy test’ with flying colours!

According to reports, Jen’s mum, Karen, flew all the way out to Los Angeles specially to meet her daughter’s new man, and was very impressed with what she saw.

Jennifer’s grandmother spilled the beans to the media (nice one, gran) saying: “We will have to get another chair for the dinner table at Christmas.”

While the stars have not actually officially confirmed that they are a couple, they have been spotted looking cosy on a number of occasions since romance rumours first broke.

And, let’s face it, her grandmother just set the writing on the wall for once and for all.

Good luck to Chris and Jen – we think they make a very sweet couple.

Jennifer Lawrence has just admitted she is in love and it’s not with who we were expecting – that’s for sure!

The actress, who opened up about the nude hacking scandal yesterday, spoke of her love for none other than Larry David.

That’s right, Jennifer could soon become the next Cheryl as she reveals she is in love with the Curb Your Enthusiasm star, asking the interviewer: “Do you like Curb Your Enthusiasm? Do you like Larry David? I’m in love with him, and I have been for a really long time.”
