If ever you needed further proof that some days not even Chrissy Teigen wakes up looking like Chrissy Teigen, then look no further.
Highlighting the prep that goes into the star's pre-event prep, Chrissy's make-up artist, Emma Osborne, uploaded a timelapse video of the process.
And, ladies, it's no mean feat.
Before emerging as the red carpet-ready queen we all know and love, a bare-faced and utterly beautiful Chrissy can be seen laughing and chatting as the two experts get to grips with her hair and makeup.
Spolier: You will be seeing a topless John Legend, and for that we thank you, Emma.

"He is insanely patient and such a dork, and he loves seeing me happy, even if that means watching The Real Housewives of Dallas with me for two and a half hours."
Adding: "There's a balance. If he's watching MSNBC and is excited about something, then I've got to be in that realm."
Here's hoping everything works out for the happy family!
What does Chrissy Teigen do when she needs a grocery item?
Well she takes to Twitter to alert her legions of fans, of course.
The model was on the hunt for a bunch of bananas last night, and rather than venturing out to the shops, she relied on her 7.5 million followers to come to her aid.
if u have 6 BROWN bananas in the LA area, I will send my assistant to your home with a signed cookbook, John's underwear and a Becca palette
Chrissy promised a pair of her husband John Legend's underwear, a signed cookbook and a Becca highlighting palette to the follower who could get her the bananas the quickest (the gal was clearly gasping for a slice of banana bread).
When asked if he was in on the distribution of his underwear as a prize, John tweeted: 'Yes and I approve. Can't make banana bread without brown bananas.'
Follower Meg Zukin had the goods, and so was chosen to make the swap, despite being one banana short of the requested amount.
Meg drove to meet Chrissy's assistant to make the swap.
However, there was one condition on the exchange.
Chrissy tweeted that on the request of her assistant, the fan must sample a small piece of the bananas in front of her assistant, for Chrissy's safety, on the off chance the fan was some kind of poisoner.
The bananas then made their way to the model's mansion in mega quick time, to fulfil their destiny of becoming Chrissy Teigen's banana bread, as evidenced by a follow-up picture of Chrissy's assistant arriving with the goods.
However, this snap raised further, non-banana related questions.
It might seem like John Legend and Chrissy Teigen are the epitome of true love and happy families, but as we know, even the strongest relationships come with their fair share of struggles.
From fertility issues to drinking problems, John spoke openly about his personal life in a revealing interview published in Cosmopolitan this week.
The 38-year-old singer and Chrissy, 31, have been married since 2013 and last year welcomed the arrival of their first daughter, Luna, conceived thanks to IVF.
Speaking about their fertility struggle, John admitting that having a baby is “a big challenge for a couple” – made especially difficult when you “can't conceive naturally.”
“You want to feel like everything’s working properly and want everything to be perfect, but sometimes it’s not. I wouldn’t say we can’t conceive naturally, but I would say that it’s enough of a challenge where it felt like we needed help,” he said.
John also addressed comments made by Chrissy last month when she opened up about her decision to cut back on drinking.
“When she was thinking about how she wanted to drink less, we talked about it. I just want to support her. I want her to be happy and to live the fullest, most awesome life she can, and I want us to do it together.”

When asked about his reputation as the “perfect spouse”, the All Of Me singer admitted he that while he was flattered by the label, his relationship is not always perfect.
“I think that’s awesome. I don’t want to present myself as the “perfect spouse” and I don’t want to present our relationship as the “perfect relationship” because I don’t think anybody meets that definition. I think it’s too much pressure to put on anyone.”
“I think it should be cool to be a good partner, a good spouse, a good father, and/or a good parent. If I’m one of the people who helps make that cooler, I think that’s great.”
He finished off the interview with some words of wisdom for his younger self, admitting he wished he had taken more risks – but really, we reckon everything tuned out just fine for the Grammy award winner.
As Hollywood A-listers go, Chrissy Teigen is an open book.
From sharing photos of her stretchmarks to opening up about her struggle with postnatal depression, the model, presenter and bestselling author has always tried to be as transparent as possible with her legions of fans and followers.
And if a recent interview with Cosmopolitan is anything to go by, Chrissy no longer wants to conceal the fact she has, in the past, struggled with alcohol consumption.
In the revealing chat with the well-known publication, Chrissy confirmed she is actively seeking to reduce her alcohol intake, and admits that she is often unable to stop at just one drink.
“I was, point blank, just drinking too much,” she said. “I got used to being in hair and makeup and having a glass of wine."
“Then that glass of wine would carry over into me having one before the awards show. And then a bunch at the awards show," she continued.

The 31-year-old admits that her behaviour while under the influence of alcohol has caused both her and her husband, John Legend, embarrassment in the past.
"I felt bad for making kind of an a** of myself to people that I really respected. And that feeling, there’s just nothing like that. You feel horrible. It’s not a good look for me, for John, for anybody," she admitted.
Interestingly, no one from Chrissy's camp felt the need to broach the topic with her, and she believes that is due to the fact, she was able to function the following morning.
"They just assumed that it was OK because I always felt OK the next morning. I knew in my heart it wasn’t right. It makes you very short with people."

The mother-of-one admits that her newfound respect for alcohol would not have sat well with her in the past, but she's at the point where she knows cutting back is the right thing to do.
"I used to think it was kind of nutty to have to go totally sober,” she said. “But now I get it. I don’t want to be that person… I have to fix myself."
So, if there's one thing we can all agree on it's that Chrissy Teigen is the human embodiment of pure sunshine, and while no one if perfect, she comes pretty damn close.
But, even the undisputed queen of Twitter feels insecure from time to time.
The US model often uses social media to speak candidly about her own struggles, and now, during a recent speech at Beautycon LA, she has revealed there are times when she cries to her husband, John Legend, about the shape of her body.
“There have been times I've cried to John, where I felt like I would never have 'that' body. Everyone has a butt now and curves and a little waist and that's not me … I'm jealous of those bodies and I want that, but I also feel like I really want to be cool with my body because of people like you guys,” she said.
Chrissy admitted she often feels “insanely inadequate” after comparing herself to other women on Instagram.
"My old ass will go on social media, and I will look at the Photoshopping, Facetuning, and the apps — and everything that goes into creating what is now a hit Instagram photo.”
Chrissy's comments prove that even supermodels feel insecure and that no good can come from comparing yourself to images on social media which have been enhanced or altered in some way.
She went on to suggest that instead of picking out our so-called “flaws”, we should celebrate our bodies, stretch marks and all.
"I've been on shoots, I've been naked-to-naked with people, and I will say that everyone has a stretch mark. Every time I see that other stretch mark, I'm like, 'Girl, yes!' It makes me feel better, and if more of us did that kind of sh*t, how many people would feel better?"
Chrissy Teigen, AKA the undisputed Queen of Twitter, has never been shy about voicing her opinion and now, after years of trolling, Donald Trump has finally blocked her on Twitter.
On Sunday, Trump took to to the micro-blogging site to criticise Republicans that “do very little to protect their President”, to which Chrissy replied: “Lollllll no one likes you.”

It's not yet known what exactly the palette will look like, but with Becca being such big players in the beauty world and Chrissy Teigan being, well, Chrissy Teigan, it's sure to be sheer perfection.
Make-up geeks everywhere have taken to Twitter to express just how excited they are:
My need for @chrissyteigen becca palette is too real and I don't even know what it's gunna be I just love and follow all things she does
Twitter cannot get enough of Chrissy Teigen, and who could blame them!
The model, mother and social media queen is constantly making us laugh with her relatable posts and hilarious comments, but she seems to have outdone herself with her latest gesture.
Beauty fanatic, Mercedes Edney, from North Carolina, set up an online crowd-funding page, in an effort to gather the $6,000 she needed for a beauty aesthetics course.
On the page Mercedes explained how much the opportunity meant to her: ‘‘I know sometimes there is a stigma for asking for help, but this is a huge dream of mine and I am willing to do whatever I can to make it.’’
By Friday, Mercedes had raised around $300, but was still a long way from her goal.
Enter Chrissy Teigen.
The star brought Mercedes' total up to her goal amount with a generous donation of $5,605. Chrissy also included a message saying: ‘’I’ve seen this be your passion for such a long time now. So excited to see you fulfil your dream!’’
Mercedes admitted that when she first got the notification about the donation, she thought it was a glitch.
In an Instagram post which has amassed almost 100,000 likes in just 15 minutes, Chrissy Teigen has revealed that she has been suffering from postpartum depression.
Alongside a black and white shot of herself, the much-loved model thanked Glamour magazine for allowing her to share her experience, and told her followers that she is relieved to have been able to open up about the issue.
31-year-old Chrissy, who welcomed baby Luna in 2016, wrote: "I'll just say it: I have post partum depression. So much love to @glamourmag for letting me share something that was eating me up inside for months and months."

While acknowledging her popularity on social media, Chrissy admitted that she was apprehensive about sharing her experience despite her notably candid demeanour.
"One of the most amazing things about social media is the ability to interact candidly with friends and fans and it felt so weird knowing what I was going through but not really feeling like it was the right place to speak on it," she wrote.

"I've always felt genuinely close to all of you and I'm insanely relieved you now know something that has been such a huge part of me for so long."
In the essay published in the popular magazine, Chrissy wrote: "I know I might sound like a whiny, entitled girl. Plenty of people around the world in my situation have no help, no family, no access to medical care."
"I can’t imagine not being able to go to the doctors that I need," she added.

Chrissy's post has been inundated with messages of support from fans and followers, with one writing: "I felt so bad that you felt the need to apologize because you're "famous" which is bs because you're still human and allowed to have a mental illness."
While she still has ‘rough days’, Chrissy insists is improving every day.
John Legend has been quite vocal about his dislike for President Trump, but it all took a very weird and dark turn on Friday night.
The singer's Twitter was hacked with profanity-ridden messages being sent out, which included, “I can’t stand by and be silent, @realDonaldTrump, you’re a b***h ass n***a and if I see you, I’m stomping your s**t you f**kin’ cheetoh,” one read, which was followed by, “i will follow 5 who follow @Owen755.”
@Owen755 claimed responsibility for the hacking later, tweeting from his personal account, "that was fun," before being suspended.
John then followed up and apologised to his followers:
I'm back. My hacker was vulgar and kinda hilarious. I'll try to be funnier from now on so he won't feel the need to ghost write for me.
There is nothing better than a good Twitter meme, and the joke about about Arthur's fist has been running for months now.
For those who don't know, the Arthur's fist meme is a snap of cartoon character Arthur's clenched fist, which has been used on Twitter and Instagram to portray a myriad of emotions and situations.
The meme has become an online sensation, suitable for expressing any kind of irritating scenario.
From the popularity of his clenched fist, more Arthur memes sprung up, and now one Twitter user is likening the meme character to one very famous singer.
Chrissy Teigen decided to respond to the viral trend in the best possible way, by taking the mick out of her husband herself.
The mum-of-one shared a snap of Arthur's fist with the caption "John when you tell him he looks like Arthur," and the Twitterverse went insane for the response.
Well, if you cant laugh at your husband, who can you laugh at?
