Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth stunned fans when they announced their separation earlier this year. The couple, who had been together for the guts of a decade, ended their relationship mere months after tying the knot.

The Slide Away singer and Aussie actor have now reached a divorce agreement just four months after going their separate ways. It is understood that Miley’s attorney filed the court documents on Tuesday.

The popstar is said to be hugely relieved to have reached an agreement with her ex-husband.

A source told People, “Miley is relieved that she and Liam reached an agreement when it comes to the divorce.”

The Malibu singer has been dating fellow musician Cody Simpson for the past few months and it looks like their relationship is stronger than ever.

The couple even celebrated the holidays together, “They had a wonderful Christmas Day with her family. They plan on celebrating New Year’s together, as well.”

The source continued, “They are also talking about an Australia trip next year. Miley seems very happy.”

Liam spent the Christmas break at home in Australia. The Hunger Games actor has been linked to actress Maddison Brown and model Gabriella Brooks.

They shared, “It’s very new. Liam is taking it slow, but he’s definitely interested in her.”

The duo enjoyed a meal and drinks at Sant Ambroeus and then headed for a romantic stroll around the Big Apple on October 10.

The actor stressed that he wanted the best for ex-wife Miley, who is currently dating Cody Simpson. The Wrecking Ball singer also dated Kaitlynn Carter shortly after announcing her split from Liam.

Speaking about her love life, Miley said, “I know the public feels invested in my past relationship because they felt like they saw it through from the beginning. I think that’s why people have always felt so entitled over my life and how I live it because they’ve watched me grow up.”

She added: “But I am grown now and make choices as an adult knowing the truth/details/reality. People only ‘know’ what they see on the Internet.”

Over the summer while many celebrities seemed to be on in the habit of going their seperate ways, there was at least one couple we could count on to give us some hope. 

Apparently, they've been nicknamed G.I Joe, but if you had told model of the moment Gigi Hadid this seven years ago she probably would have laughed. Gigi, 20, and her boyfriend Joe Jonas, 26, have known each other since Gigi was 13. How did they meet?

In probably the most Hollywood fashion you could imagine: at the Grammys. 

In a Periscope Q & A, the model revealed that back then she had no intention of attaching herself to the Jonas brother. She said that he asked her to a baseball game and she said, "No, maybe next time."

"I was so nervous; I literally didn't even know what it meant to hang out with a boy," she explained.

She also didn't think that Joe realised that the Grammys were on a Sunday and she had school on Monday, so she didn't think it would work out. Joe was persistent though and Gigi said she remembers that Joe "wrote his number on a piece of paper and gave it to my mom."

While the age gap might seem a little off to some, ET Online explained that Gigi may have gotten the ages mixed up. Apparently while she was pictured with her parents David and Yolanda Foster at the 2010 Gremmys she was not pictured at the 2009 event. So she was probably 14 when she and Joe first met. 

The duo certainly seem to have moved on since then as they have been practically inseparable this summer. 

Ever since the news broke that Gigi and Australian singer Cody Simpson were no longer an item, pictures began to emerge of she and Joe almost everywhere. 

The runway model even hosted a very sweet (very star-studded) surprise birthday party for the former Disney star.

When three megastars from the world of pop-music get together for a little down-time – they're always going to attract plenty of attention.

However, a newly-posted video of Niall Horan, 21, Cody Simpson, 18 and Justin Bieber, 21, is garnering comment for all the wrong reasons: namely because it shows what seems to be hard drug paraphernalia mere metres away from the singers.

In a video clip taken yesterday and later posted to Mr Simpson's Snapchat account, the young men can be see singing Home To Mama. Also visible is a yellow glass pipe seen resting on a nearby coffee table.

Similar pipes are commonly used to smoke crystal meth, although, there is no suggest that the singers themselves were using drugs of any sort.

The stars' night had begun with Niall and Justin heading out in LA – even obliging star-struck fans with selfies – before later syncing up with Cody.

Indeed, Mr Bieber and the Mullingar-man have been close for quite some time; first hanging out together after the VMAs in 2012.

The Canadian even met Niall before he found global fame: when Justin appeared on the X Factor back in 2010 to perform a mash of Baby and Somebody To Love, he remained backstage to meet the contestants – including Mr Horan.

Niall is, of course, currently on One Direction’s On The Road Again tour, but he’s still making time to go on lunch dates – namely hitting Fig & Olive on Melrose Avenue with none other than Justin’s ex, Selena Gomez, 22. 

Interestingly, just a day previously, Mr Bieber himself had taken his former love out on a date.

Still, it's good to see there’s no blood between the boys now.

​And besides, it appears that Niall might be distracted by another lovely lady: he was spotted with his arms around a blonde woman outside posh Japanese restaurant Nobu in Malibu last week.

He’s also been consistently liked to the diva-like Ariana Grande for months, despite both parties claiming that they’re “just friends”.

Meanwhile, early in 2014, Justin Bieber's Calabasas mansion was raided by police. TMZ subsequently reported that the property, which was a year ago sold to Khloe Kardashian for €6.65m, was littered with drugs, and drug paraphernalia.

However, while Justin himself was never charged in connection with the incident, his friend, Lil Za, was caught red-handed with ecstasy and the pain-killer oxycodone.

While Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson managed to avoid each other on the red carpet for the entirety of the Much Music Video Awards, they were not so lucky on their way home.

The former couple ended up accidentally being seated shoulder-to-shoulder on their flight out of Toronto.

At least Cody saw some humour in the situation as he took a Snapchat sitting beside his former 20-year-old model girlfriend and captioned it, “when u get seated next to ur ex on a plane.”

By the look on Ms Hadid’s face, she did not find the situation quite as amusing as Cody did.

The former couple called it quits on their relationship after two years of dating. Gigi has since been linked to Joe Jonas who she has been seen out with on a number of occasions.

It seems that this was why Cody, who is usually known for his energetic and bubbly personality, seem quite down and defeated on the red carpet of the MMVA’s.

But we have to say ‘fair play’ to him this time. It’s safe to say he definitely saw the funny side of the awkward situation.

We were pretty disappointed to see Gigi Hadid and Cody Simpson calling time on their relationship, but it seems that she has found comfort in the arms of another famous guy.

Despite being linked to Formula One star Lewis Hamilton (word on the street is that it is in fact Gigi’s friend Kendall Jenner who’s now locked in Lewis’ sights), it looks as though romance is definitely on the cards for Gigi and singer Joe Jonas.

The couple set tongues wagging after being pictured hanging out together over the past number of weeks, and while they have denied that they are anything other than friends, photos of the pair cuddled up together at a New York bar this weekend seem to suggest otherwise.

Sources say that the pair were careful to enter and exit the bar separately, but keen-eyed witnesses captured some very tender moments between the pair – including a cheeky kiss on the hand!

Now, according to HollywoodLife.com: “Nothing is official between Joe and Gigi, but Joe is working overtime to get it done. He is convinced he will be Gigi’s boyfriend in no time. She has options, but Joe is putting his best foot forward to make him the only option she is willing to accept.”

Once Joe doesn’t go dumping Gigi in a 27-second phone call (just like he did with our fave, Taylor Swift) we will tentatively give this pairing our approval.

They are one of the hottest couples around right now, and it seems as though model Gigi Hadid and singer Cody Simpson are keen to prove it, if this latest photo is anything to go by.

Fresh from her amazing success during Fashion Month, 19-year-old Gigi followed in the footsteps of fellow models Kendall Jenner, Lily Aldridge and Georgia May Jagger by posing for a racy image for 'The Towel Series'.

Just as it sounds, the beautiful black-and-white photos, shot by acclaimed photographer Mario Testino, feature a number of stars posing in nothing but their bath towels.

In a departure from the norm, however, Gigi was joined by her Australian beau Cody for the first ever couple shot in the series.

Sharing the stunning picture on her Instagram account, the beautiful Gigi thanked Testino and sent the couple's love for taking the shot.

While the couple certainly seem very loved-up, it has been a controversial few weeks for them, after Gigi was accused of taking drugs during a Spring Break party for Victoria's Secret.

A furious Gigi took to her social media channels to blast the report, saying that she would not stand back while someone attempted to tarnish her good name.

She tweeted: "I lead a healthy life. I'm a good, hardworking, responsible person. If you don't want to give me the benefit of the doubt that's fine, but I know that this situation will not change my reputation within my industry [because] the people that know & work [with] me know that the person some are trying to make me out to be is NOT who I am or who I'll ever be."

Good for you, Gigi! Looking fantastic, as ever.

Despite reports that Cody Simpson and his ex-girlfriend, Gigi Hadid, were back together, it seems the singer has finally put the rumours to rest.

The singer was speaking on The Morning Show in Australia when he confirmed that he and Gigi, a model who has featured in Sports Illustrated, have broken up for good once and for all: “I guess I’m back on the market.”

The couple first called it quits back in May, following a short-lived relationship, but were later said to have reunited when they were spotted getting cosy. 

However, Cody also added "It's a little complicated" while speaking on the show, so who knows what the future holds for the couple. 

The singer is just back in his home country following a tour in Europe and says he is now going through a "career transition" – sounds like there is exciting things to come!
