Earlier this year, she suffered from a devastating miscarriage three months into her first pregnancy. 

But model and reality TV star Courtney Stodden has now acquired a life-like 'reborn' doll – which she says was recommended to her by her therapist. 

Wearing a short pink wig and sunglasses, 21-year-old Courtney shared a video on Instagram which show her excitedly cradling the doll. 

Admitting that she was "so nervous," about the arrival of the reborn baby boy she can be seen in the video saying "I don't want to hurt him," as she unwraps the packaging.

"He's so pretty; so beautiful – he looks just like a baby…" Courtney can be heard adding. 

Ms Stodden then turns to her pet dog to introduce the doll: "Look at your baby brother!"

In an accompanying caption, the model – who has been married to 56-year-old Dough Hutchison for five years – shared: "Just received my reborn baby today! Exciting.

"I know it may seem a little strange but my therapist suggested that having him may help me cope with my loss. #rebornbaby."

She later posted three more images – one black-and-white snap of the doll, along with another the doll alongside one of her dogs, and another one which showed the accompanying 'birth cert,' which came with the doll. 

Shortly after her miscarriage, which she spoke publicly about in July, Ms Stodden also shaved her head to manage her grief.

Some fans today expressed their concern that the reborn doll was unhealthy for Courtney – but others thought it could prove beneficial for her as she copes with the loss of her baby.

It was recently announced that she had become the oldest model to grace the front cover of FHM.

Yup, there's no denying that Pamela Anderson has still very much got it aged 48.

However, attending a Peta 35th anniversary event last night, the actress's face certainly seemed a little, well, different.

Posing up alongside an all-in-orange Courtney Stodden, 21, she was barely recognisably in a full-length black, glizy gown which showed off plenty of her trademark cleavage. 

It could be that the star has been experimenting with different make-up techniques – or she's possibly recently opted for fillers and anti-wrinkle treatments.

Animal-loving stars had certainly been out in force for the high-profile event, which was held in Los Angeles. 

The likes of Joanna Krupa, Moby, Seth Green, Ireland Baldwin, Kesha, Tish and Noah Cyrus, Anjelica Huston, Jason Biggs, Alicia Silverstone, and William H. Macy were all there to lend their support to the animal rights' charity. 

And Paul McCartney provided the musical entertainment during the evening with guests also taking part in a silent auction.

Despite Ms Anderson's sex symbol status – cemented during her years on Baywatch – she revealed in the November edition of FHM that her home is not littered with images of herself. 

"You won't find a photo of me in my house! No way," she stated. 

"Well, maybe a few family shots of my boys and I, but no Playboy covers. No paintings, even."

Earlier this month, Pammy also posed up completely nude for famed photographer David LaChapelle, as seen on the cover of the September edition of Flaunt.

She's know for stunts that demand attention – but reality TV star and teen bride Courtney Stodden really raised eyebrows this weekend.

Posing up in a skimpy bikini – hardly anything new – what the swim-wear was constructed from nevertheless proved to be a talking-point.

Taking a roll of purple duct tape, the model made underwear from the DIY stable – telling her fans that they could even buy signed items on her website for €8.75.

"Tear off a piece of Courtney with this signed roll of her famed purple Duct Tape!" the website reads, adding that fans could try to make their own bikini, or "maybe a dress!" 

However, it also comes with a warning: "Please be caution when using Duct Tape to construct your art. This is NOT a toy & NOT for children. Use at your own risk."

She furthermore shared captivating images via her Twitter account.

Ms Stodden made international headlines when, at the age of 16, she married 51-year-old Hollywood actor Doug Hutchison in an intimate ceremony in Las Vegas.

Now aged 20 – and still with Doug despite several temporary break-ups along the way – the TV personality has overhauled her appearance. 

Indeed, she is a huge fan of Marilyn Monroe's style and appearance and often models her look on the screen icon.

Shortly after her marriage, the reality TV contestant denied that she'd had plastic surgery – insisting that she was entirely natural.

However, two years ago at the age of 18 she decided on a breast augmentation to further boost her bust.

Eventually opting for a DD cup – a significant increase given her petite height (she's 5ft 4in) and slight frame – her husband fully supported her decision.

She and Doug actually split after just two years of marriage, with Courtney reporting that she wanted to "experience other men," but they reconciled last year and have said that they plan to renew their vows shortly.

However, while Marilyn was curvy, Courtney's breasts are entirely OTT. In fact, they appeared bigger than ever in one post made – and then swiftly deleted – earlier this week. 

Wearing a light chiffon shirt and pouting for the camera while holding a pink smoothie, Ms Stodden's chest seems disproportionately large; something which wasn't lost on commentators who spotted the snap before it was removed.

TMZ reported earlier this year that the young woman was shopping a sex tape to the highest bidder.

Described as a "solo effort porn video," in it Ms Stodden can be seen in a bubble bath splashing in water.

Mr Hutchinson does not appear in the footage, which was eventually released on several adult entertainment sites.

She and her husband split after just two years of marriage, with Courtney reporting that she wanted to "experience other men," but they reconciled last year and have said that they plan to renew their vows shortly.

It has been revealed that infamous couple, Courtney Stodden and Doug Hutchinson, are back together!

The couple are planning on getting married (again) and the news was announced by Courtney herself over her Twitter account.

When a fan asked her to confirm the happy news, she replied: “It’s true, hun.”

Courtney and Doug received a lot of media attention during their relationship due to the big age gap between them; Courtney was only 16 at the time, while Doug was 51.

The married couple later announced they were separating in November 2013.
