Love Island’s Ellie Brown has broken her silence on her split from co-star Charlie Brake in an emotional statement.

Taking to Instagram, the 20-year-old wrote: “Hi guys. Firstly I just want to say a massive thank you to everybody who has sent me lots of love since Tuesday.”

“I beg of you to please stop coming to me with articles that claim I brought this on myself. I am trying to deal with this as best and as quietly as possible,” she shared.

The Love Island star admitted she has her flaws, but she hopes people understand that she truly loved her co-star.

“I know everybody is waiting for a comment from me on this whole situation but I really just don’t even know what to say,” Ellie concluded.

The couple’s break-up came as quite the surprise for fans, especially after the pair had been living together at Charlie’s Chelsea home.

Dani and Jack and Wes and Megan are still going strong but one of our fave couples have called it a day on their relationship.

The 23-year-old posted an Instagram story to share the news: “Just to inform you all, Ellie and I have decided to part ways. I wish her all the best."

The split comes as quite a surprise as the pair recently jetted off to Switzerland for a couples getaway. Everything seemed just peachy with Charlie and Ellie sharing loving selfies on their Instagram accounts.

The duo appeared to be one of the shows strongest couples having moved in together shortly after the Love Island finale. Ellie was living in Charlie’s Chelsea home but sparked breakup rumours when she revealed she moved into her first apartment.

Ellie has yet to comment on their breakup.

We can all admit we spent many evenings glued to the TV during those drama-filled Love Island days.

We couldn’t help but obsess over Jack and Dani’s blossoming romance. We resonated with the unlucky in love Laura. We cringed over Dr Alex and his woeful sunburn.

There’s been a Love Island shaped hole in our hearts since Jack and Dani were crowned champions but fear not, because one of the Casa Amor residents will be returning to our screens very soon.

Rumour has it Wes Nelson will be joining this year’s Dancing On Ice. The reality star will be gliding (or stumbling) around the ice in the coming months.

A TV source told The Sun: “Wes has boundless energy and he’s already displayed great rhythm on Love Island, so Dancing On Ice execs thought he’d be a great choice for the series.”

The producers were keen to sign the 20-year-old: “He has a huge social media following and bosses know that a lot of Love Island fans will be desperate to see how he does.”

Love Island winner and nation's sweetheart Dani Dyer revealed that she went on the show after she was turned down for a part on Eastenders.

In an interview with the Daily Star on Sunday, she told the tabloid that the BBC was considering her for a part on the show, before deciding she wasn't quite right for the role.

'I don’t know about Eastenders. They wouldn’t let me on it,' she said.

The reality TV star feels that her Dad Danny Dyer's character on the show was a reason for her not getting it. 

'I think it’s because my dad is already on it, there would be a massive outrage,' she said. 

A source told the Daily Star that Dani was 'heartbroken' over the news that she didn't get the part.

'She was sick of bar work and was struggling to make it as an actress so decided to do reality TV,' the source said.

Love Island’s Megan has opened up about her decision to have plastic surgery. The reality star has defended herself in an honest interview with Cosmopolitan UK.

She admitted that she didn’t get the procedures done to impress others, but for a much more empowering reason.

The former glamour model urged people to be less negative about plastic surgery, admitting she doesn’t think there is anything wrong with it.

“I think if you want to do something to make yourself more comfortable, then why not?” she said.

The 24-year-old stressed that she doesn’t consider herself a role model. “I did it for me and no-one else.”

Megan revealed that she has had a huge amount of procedures done in her life so far: "I got a boob job at 19, and had another one when I got older and had more money to upgrade the surgeon! And I had my nose done and my lips filled. And the teeth.”

The Love Island contestant said she has nothing to be ashamed of. She got those procedures done simply to boost her confidence: “I've done what I’ve done because it made me me feel confident and comfortable.”

Megan argued that society has no problem with women going to the hairdressers, nail salon or beauticians to boost their confidence, so what is wrong with her getting a procedure that makes her feel good about herself.

“I get my lips done because I feel better, it doesn’t have to be a massive deal,” she shared.

Megan came in fourth place in the Love Island finale on Monday night.

Love Island may be over tonight but it's certainly not the last we'll be seeing of Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham's blossoming relationship.

That's because, according to The Sun, the loved-up pair are set to get their very own reality show, and we are super excited! 

Apparently, producers at ITV2 have approached the couple about a three-part series which will follow them as they adjust to life outside the villa.

The couple, both from Essex, have been together since day one and have already planned to move in together, so a reality show seems like the next step.

"There is a big money offer on the table for the couple and cameras want to start filming them as soon as they leave the villa.," a TV production company told the paper. 

"There is a huge interest in capturing the moment that Jack finally meets Danny in person, something he’s been nervous about since day one. Danny will give him a hard time and plenty of banter so it would be TV gold."

We would definitely watch it just for that moment!

We all know Jack and Dani are going to win Love Island. There’s no doubt in our minds that the pair will come out on top when the show ends on Monday night.

They’ve been a joy to watch over the past few months (apart from that post- lie detector argument, which we’re still reeling over) and have certainly won the hearts of the nation.

Jack and Dani have gone from strength to strength since their early days on the show and have started planning their future together.

Fans of the show aren’t the only ones who support the lovebirds, Dani’s mum Jo has opened up about her 21-year-old daughter’s love life, admitting she couldn’t be happier with Jack.

Speaking to The Sun, her mum said: “I think Jack could be the one because he’s older than her. Jack seems grounded.”

However, the pen salesman better watch his back because there is one man who holds a very special place in Dani’s heart.

Her mum shared that Dani and Jack are perfect for one another, unless chart topper Justin Bieber makes himself known to her daughter.

She joked: “Unless Justin Bieber comes along, this could be it.”

We’re sure Jack isn’t too concerned considering the Love Yourself singer recently popped the question to Hailey Baldwin.

He may not have to worry about the What Do You Mean singer making an appearance in Casa Amor, but the 26-year-old will come face-to-face (via video link) with Dani’s parents in tonight's episode at 10 pm on 3e.

We cannot wait for the Love Island finale! It is only three days away, so in the meantime we have got the scoop on the amazing Dani Dyer.

Dani and her boyfriend Jack Fincham are among the top favourites to win the popular reality show.

Dani originally encountered opposition from her father, East Ender’s actor Danny Dyer, when revealing her role on Love Island.

But her mother claims that the family rapidly changed their mind when watching the actress on the show, according to an interview with Hello!

‘I'm impressed with her advice on the housemates so far. She is a great listener in the house. She isn't very judgemental but knows the difference between right and wrong,’ said Dani’s mum, Jo.

She is proud of her daughter and of her behaviour on the show thus far. ‘Our little girl hasn't put a foot wrong in our eyes,’ she said in her interview.

Dani’s mother also spoke about her daughter’s childhood and released photos to Hello! that are just adorable.

Jo said the actress was ‘born to entertain’, and her first time on camera was on Barney and Friends at just five-years-old. Yes, she was already a diva at five!

Her mother gently lifted her on stage in Florida after Dani’s ceaseless requests to join the sing-a-long.

Dani was her ‘easiest child’, Jo gushed, ‘she just sang and danced. Dani does that now, […] she will break out in a song relevant to what you're talking about."

Fans of the show seem to agree as they rave about Dani on social media. Many of them are rooting for her and Jack to win as well.

But we will just have to wait for the Love Island’s finale to find out.

The final show is this Monday, July 30th at 9pm, but to Dani’s mum, her daughter ‘has already won in our eyes.’
