John Mayer has a major crush on Lea Michele – and she is caving to his charms!

John, who split from Katy Perry three months ago, has reportedly been texting the Glee star non-stop and has all but begged the actress to go on a date with him.

The 36-year-old singer has been telling Lea how beautiful she is, and that he has fancied her for ages.

Even when he was with Katy?!

Lea was not too sure at first, but is apparently caving to his charming ways, and is said to have lined up a date with the singer for the not-so-distant future!

It’s no secret that John has a bad rep when it comes to dating.

The playboy just recently split from his Roar singer girlfriend and has been previously linked to Jessica Simpson, Taylor Swift, and Jennifer Aniston to name a few.

While Lea is still be nursing her heartbreak over the tragic death of her boyfriend Cory Monteith who died less than a year ago from a drug overdose, the actress is said to have been bowled over by John’s persuasions.

Sometimes you just have to stay in on date night. The reasons could be financial, maybe the weather is terrible or maybe you don’t want to leave the comfort of your own home.

That doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with your date though!

There is only one rule to this being a success and that is: strictly no phones or laptops allowed. This will ensure you give each other your full attention and the night will be more memorable.

1. Have a movie night
Fresh popcorn, lots of sweets and a bunch of movies (one choice each).

2. Cook a meal
It’s no secret that food is sensual and that it is the way to many people’s heart so plan a fancy meal together, it doesn’t have to be expensive; there are plenty of economically savvy meals out there.

3. Listen to music
Take turns showing each other your favourite songs, cute! Just make sure you keep it kinda cool – Justin Bieber isn’t going to do you any favours.

4. Play cards
Play a game of Spit for the ultimate relationship game changer. If you lose and pound him in the face and he leaves, at least you know it could never have worked. You need to find someone who understands your passion for Spit (the game).

So have a look at the following colours and have a think about the impression you want to make on your next date! Even better, use the list to work out what type of person your date might be.

Pink
Pink is a calming and non-threatening colour. It is affectionate but be careful because it is also a young colour so can portray immaturity also.

Blue
The colour blue is calm and serene; like the ocean. A person who dresses in blue is often honest and sincere.

Purple
People who like to wear purple are often creative in personality; perhaps with an arty job. Purple also coveys intelligence and is a warm colour. Purple is known as the colour of royalty because of its richness and depth.

Black
Black is a no-nonsense colour, hence why it’s so popular for interviews. It is formal, classic and sophisticated and people who wear black may also be serious types. Or they’re just people who know you can’t go wrong with a LBD.

Red
Ooh red. Red is the colour of passion and love. It makes your heart race and gets the blood pumping. It is also the colour of danger. Chris deBurgh didn’t write Lady in Red for nothing! Though we do wish we had a better example.

When a man is interested in a woman, he will, for the most part, make it obvious. However, when he’s not interested, there’s a good chance he won’t have the courage to tell you.

He doesn’t ask about you
When a man likes you, he’ll want to know everything about you – what makes you happy, what makes you sad and of course, what gets you excited. If he isn’t asking, he isn’t interested.

He always makes excuses about not staying in touch
He was working late, he was stressed, he had to do something for his mam, the list is endless really. If he isn’t making time for you, he isn’t interested.

He waits too long to set up another date
Kind of self-explanatory don’t you think?
