So, last night P!nk was crowned the proud winner of the 2017 Vanguard Award at the MTV Video Music Awards.

After taking to the stage to receive the acclaimed accolade, the artist decided to shape her acceptance speech around a conversation she shared with her daughter recently.

In a revealing speech, the F*cking Perfect singer explained that her six-year-old daughter had called herself the 'ugliest girl I know'.

"I look like a boy with long hair," Willow added at the time.

Stunned by both her daughter's candour and lack of self-belief, P!nk decided to use world-famous artists to teach her daughter that refusing to follow the crowd when it comes to a gender-specific appearance is something to celebrate.

"I went home and I made a power point presentation for her. And, in that presentation, were androgynous rock stars and artists that live their truth."

"These are artists like Michael Jackson, David bowie, Freddie Mercury, Annie Lennox, Prince, Janis Joplin, and George Michael, Elton John — so many artists," she told a visibly emotional audience.

P!nk then used her own experience in the music industry to remind her daughter that she refused to succumb to criticism over her image.

"I said to her, “Do you see me growing my hair?” She said, “No mama.” I said, “Do you see me changing my body?” “No, mama.” “Do you see me changing the way I present myself to the world?” “No, mama."

And then the kicker.

“Do you see me selling out arenas all over the world?” “Yes, mama.” P!nk said as applause rang out through the crowd.

P!nk's speech has, unsurprisingly, had Twitter users in a heap, as they went online and paid tribute to the the singer's heartfelt tibute to her daughter.

Ellen De Generes, who presented the singer with the award, took to Twitter in the aftermath, writing: "Congratulations on your Vanguard Award. From now on I’m gonna spell my name El!en. I love u."

Congratulations are in order for Amy Childs – she has just given birth to a baby girl.

The Made In Chelsea star's BFF Binky broke the news on on Twitter saying: "EEEEEK congratulations @MissAmyChilds!!!!!

"Wishing you & your new little family all the best and happiness in the world! So exciting!!"

Amy then wrote back: "Thank you Hun she is perfect xxx"

Parents copying their child's social media photos is nothing new.

Many mothers and fathers have taken to their own social media pages to show them doing the same pose or wearing the same clothes as their younger beings, and honestly, we think it's all good fun.

But the latest parent that's catched onto the trend is getting major backlash for it.

Chris Burr Martin, who is a comedian and podcaster over in the US has been copying his daughter, Cassie, for a few months now, and his following has doubled because of it.

Looking at Instagram, Cassie is all for it, even sharing the photos on her own social media pages and posting pics with her dad reading books like I'm On The Internet, What Now?. However, people on Facebook have different ideas.

One FB user said under an article about the family, "I think the girl looks adorable and her father is mocking her instead of supporting her. It's not funny, this is kind of sad."

However, on the other end, another person argued, "I think it's fun. Obviously they have had a 'talk' and she knows what he's doing so clearly there's some humour in all this."

Another backed up that point saying, "I think the both of them are awesome. They make a good father daughter team.

"The only laughing stock are the envious haters on either end. She's cool, he's hilarious, they're having fun."

Yesterday marked Sarah Michelle Gellar's daughter's seventh birthday.

And to celebrate the special day, Sarah took to Instagram to share a really sweet message about her.

Sharing a picture of her holding Charlotte Grace as a baby, the actress wrote: "Sometimes when I need a miracle, I look into my daughters eyes, and realise I've already created one. #happybirthdayCharlotte #thisis7."

Sarah and her hubby Freddie Prinze Jr welcomed Charlotte in 2009 and three years later their son Rocky was born.

Back in April fans of Hollywood power couple Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling celebrated as the pair welcomed their second baby girl into the world.  But while the occasion was obviously a happy one, it was also touched with sadness as baby Amada was born the same week Eva buried her brother.

In a new interview with Latina magazine, the Training Day actress has described what it was like to lose her older brother Juan Carlos Mendez to throat cancer so shortly before the arrival of her daughter and explained how the experience brought her family closer together.

Eva told the mag: “Losing my brother brought our family closer, and we were already close to begin with…So to just see everybody be there for one another and show up, I feel so lucky to have them.  And then they were there for me when Amada was born.”

“We had a funeral service for him and that same week I had the baby.  So it was really, really intense and obviously beyond heartbreaking, but also kind of beautiful.”

During the interview, the actress also discussed how her brother’s passing influenced the choice of name she and Nice Guys star Ryan gave their newborn.

She said: “In true Latin fashion, we reuse names all the time.”

“My grandmother's name is Amada, and Esmeralda Amada is the name of our oldest.  We had a few names picked out for our new baby, and when she was born, we didn't feel like those names were her.”

“So we went with Amada because it was something we kept going back to.  And it was an emotional time with the passing of my brother.”

“We thought how beautiful to go with what made us emotional and with what felt like her.  When we looked at her, we thought, ‘Aww, Amadita.’”

We think it's heartwarming to hear how even through her grief Eva was able to find a positive way to remember her late brother in the baby naming process.

Haters united against Teen Mom OG’s Farrah Abraham yesterday after she posted a modelling shot of her 7-year-old daughter Sophia in a bikini and makeup to her Instagram account.

Farrah’s followers were not at all happy with the photo and quickly began commenting that Sophia – who was pictured wearing a full face of makeup including pink lipstick and a smoky eye – is too young to be posing in such an adult way.

Commenting on the close-up of the seven-year-old, @esme_masias wrote: “This poor little girl will never know what being a child is…At such a young age you're already making her out to be older than she is…leave this cr*p alone and let her be a child!”

 

And @piggle_box said: “This disturbs me…all of it…there's major denial if you don't see the obvious tone, poor girl.”

This isn’t the first time Farrah has been questioned for treating her daughter like a teenager.

In 2013 the reality star – who recently sold her LA apartment for just under $900,000 – made headlines when she waxed then three-year-old Sophia’s eyebrows.

It seems that Chris Hemsworth can do a lot more than act and flash his abs.

The actor has unveiled his secret skill of cooking up a storm in the kitchen, too. But it wasn't just any regular dish like pasta, or a salad or a cupcake – it was a deadly birthday cake.

The Thor star took to Instagram to show off his skills, telling his fans that the bakery let him down.

"What happens when the bakery says they don't have time to make your daughter a birthday cake? You get involved and smash one out yourself! I call it 'La TRex al la chocolate," he captioned the snap.

His daughter, India Rose, probably has the coolest dad in showbiz, as Chris made her a DINOSAUR cake (how cute), full of glitter, icing and chocolate buttons. Mmmm.

The 32-year-old's wife, Elsa Pataky (who recently spent some one on one time with Miley Cyrus) was very happy with her husband's work, taking to IG herself to write: "Papa working hard on India's birthday cake! 

What an adorable family! We hope they had a great day.

*We can't stop staring at those biceps, though.

Britney Spears is planning on expanding her family very soon!

According to the National Enquirer the singer wants to adopt a child and is in love with the idea of giving a better life to a disadvantaged baby.

She's planning on taking a trip to Malawi where she will adopt a daughter as she wants to add to her family.

An inside source told the paper, "They’ve discussed the process on several occasions, and she’s always wanted a daughter.

"She's considering adopting a little girl from Malawi."

Britney already has two sons with Kevin Federline, who she split up with almost ten years ago. Further reports are suggesting she's looking to her friend Madonna for advice since she adopted David, 10 and Mercy, 10.

Macklemore is currently travelling around Ireland with his wife and daughter, and something very special happened on our fair green isle.

Mack's wife, Tricia, took to Instagram to share a video of their daughter taking her first steps in Belfast.

The parents are so uncontrollably happy that when she finishes they leap into each others arms. IT'S SO CUTE.

“Yesterday in Belfast, Northern Ireland…. Sloane’s first steps. Watch me try to help and then she gets up on her own!” Tricia captioned the clip. 

The family seem to be having a great time travelling across the Emerald Isle, and some of his Instagram photos are just hilarious. Here's to more happy memories!

We all know there exists a pretty special bond between teenage girls and their doting dads, so it's no real surprise to learn the lengths a concerned father will go to protect his beloved daughter from possible danger and potential suitors, but it looks like Gordon Ramsery takes the biscuit.

The famous dad, who has no qualms about revealing the extent of his mission to protect his daughter from harm, opened up during an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live and admitted that he enlists the help of his son in order to keep her on the straight and narrow.

Giving an insight into Ramsey family life, the acclaimed TV chef acknowledged that the life of a teenage girl is peppered with mystery, telling host Jimmy: "Not many boyfriends come around. They don't come up to the house. 17 is a tough age. You are getting used to things happening, growing, kissing and so on."

Determined not to let anything get in the way of his desire to keep an eye on his daughter, Gordon admitted that he gives his only son, 16-year-old Jack, £100 a week to spy on his 17-year-old sister Megan.

The father-of-four happily opened up about the plan he hatched with his son, telling the audience: "So I said to my mate Jack, there's £100 a week, keep me updated. Let me know about any photos online and we'll go online and hijack it."

We can only imagine what Megan's response will be when she learns of her dad and brother's sneaky ways!

There is yet another mini me amongst Hollywood stars! We already showed shared some snaps of Gwyneth Paltrow's look-alike, now we have another one for you. 

Actress Reese Witherspoon stepped out for lunch with her daughter Ava, 15, and the pair look like twins rather than mother and daughter.

The blonde bombshell and daughter were wearing coordinated dresses and looked the spitting image of one another out and about on Sunday in LA.

Reese looked extremely summary in a pink, floral, knee-length dress teamed with a denim jacket and straw hat. While Ava wore a comfortable, loose, navy draw-string dress and a long braid in her hair.

The mother-daughter duo both showed off tanned, toned legs while strolling around and eating ice-creams in the sun. We refuse to believe Reese is almost 40!

The pair both accessorised their outfits extremely well, Reese wearing a straw hat and carrying a linen bag, and Ava wearing a pair of aviator shades and a choker necklace.

America's sweetheart Reese was wearing a studded pair of Valentino sandals, showing off her manicured toes, while daughter Ava was sporting a comfy pair of red sandals to make a red bag.

Ava is the daughter of Reese and Ryan Phillippe, who were married for eight years until their divorce in 2007. Reese and Ryan also have another child, Deacon, their son who was born in 2003.

 Reese went on to marry Jim Roth, with whom she has one son, Tennessee. 

Reese is currently promoting her most recent movie, Hot Pursuit, in which she stars along-side Sofia Vergara.

In the new comedy, Reese plays a police officer, tasked with transported Sofia Vergara across America so she can testify against a drug lord. The comedy is already receiving some positive reviews following a tour of worldwide premieres by Reese and Sofia. 

Last month, she shared a snap of herself and Ava getting red carpet ready for the Hot Pursuit premiere.
