If you fancy yourself as this generation's Imelda Marcos, you've no doubt spent a worrying amount of time coveting shoes you know deep-down will never be yours.

And loathe and all as we are to ruin your day, we've happened upon a pair which are unlikely to ever make their way into your show cupboard.

The creation of UK designer, Debbie Wingham, these open-toed stilettos feature in excess of 1,000 diamonds, are set in platinum and boast 24K gold-thread stitching.

Oh, and they''ll set you back a cool €15 million.

I had the most amazing opportunity to work with fashion designer and celeb baker @debbie_wingham on the Worlds Most Expensive Shoes! Debbie is known for creating the worlds most expensive items including a dress and cake worth millions draped in diamonds! For instance These one off custom shoes are worth 15.1 mill!! This project kicked off when Debbie had an Arabian client that had a large portfolio of diamonds and wanted to show them off in a unique piece of art! It doesn’t get any more unique than a cake shoe so she reached out to me to work along side her and create something amazing dripping in diamonds!!! Thank you Debbie for including me in the amazing project it was defiantly life changing! More pics soon!!!

With three-carat pink diamonds and two one-carat blue diamonds as part of the design, these specially-commissioned shoes will undoubtedly attract crowds when they go on show during Fashion Afternoon Tea at Raffles, Dubai at the beginning of next month.

"Many of my clients have valuable pieces of jewellery that live in a safe and are only worn once or twice in a lifetime; by using their precious gems to design a bespoke piece of art, I can create something that can be admired on a daily basis," Debbie said of the shoes which have, unsurprisingly, made serious waves online.

Nice if you can get it…
