Tulisa Contostavlos has denied reports which suggest she pulled out of this year’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here days before she was due to fly to Australia.

According to the Daily Star, show sources claimed the singer had a last minute change of heart about appearing in the 16th series of the reality show because she has a fear of insects.

However a rep for the former X Factor judge has since told The Mirror that Tulisa couldn’t have dropped out of the series because she had never agreed to take part to begin with.

Tulisa’s rep said: “This story is complete lies.  Tulisa never signed up for I’m a Celebrity this year.  She never even had a meeting with the show this year.”

The Daily Star suggested that the former N-Dubz singer had been approached on multiple occasions about entering the famous jungle with an offer of £500,000 reportedly being put forward.

The site quoted the 28-year-old’s “epic bug phobia” as a potential reason for her alleged backing out and said Strictly Come Dancing’s Ola Jordan would take Tulisa’s place on I’m a Celebrity this year.

As anyone with a Twitter account will know, the Internet is a hypersensitive environment at the best of times.

But for an A-list celebrity with links to the most high-profile divorce of the decade, the realm of social media is an aggravated minefield waiting for its next victim.

While attempting to comment on the US presidential race over the weekend, Justin Theroux inadvertently criticised his wife’s ex-husband, Brad Pitt, and in doing so drew the wrath of the web onto himself.

After posting a shot of some Berlin street art – which happens to contain the words “F*ck Brad Pitt” – to his Instagram account, the American Psycho star was forced to deny any intention of wrongdoing.

Since sharing the image, the 45-year-old director has added a lengthily hashtag which claims the post is not shading anyone because he is “not eleven years old”.

With a hashtag like “andNOthispostisNOT‘shading’anyonebecauseimnotelevenyearsoldimeanseriously” we think Justin has proved his point in the most grown-up way possible.

Katie Price has hit back at reports which suggest she cheated on her husband Kieran Hayler with ex-Geordie Shore star Scotty T.

Yesterday, pictures emerged of the mother of five getting out of the reality star’s flash BMW as sources told The Sun that a “dishevelled” Katie had been joined by Scotty in her hotel suite after their spin on Monday night.

A hotel guest claimed they had seen the 38-year-old glamour model rush through the venue’s lobby before jumping into the distinctive car which quickly drove off.

Sources say Katie returned to the same Gateshead based hotel later that night. 

Shortly after her arrival, 28-year-old Scotty was spotted ordering drinks at the hotel bar before taking a lift up to the rooms.

Last night, the Loose Women panellist used Instagram to deny that she is romantically involved with the Celebrity Big Brother winner.

In a video which appears to have been shot in a car, Katie said: “I love my husband so why would people try to start sh*t?  Just because I know male people doesn’t mean to say f*cking anything’s going on so get over it.”

The TV personality – who recently admitted to physically attacking her former friend for sleeping with her husband – also took to Twitter to share links to The Sun’s story with the comment: “My team made it clear earlier today on a call, anyet they still run a story that implies things that simply aren’t true.  Very disappointing (sic).”

She claims the reason she was with the famed womaniser that night is because he giving was her and a friend a lift to a sunbed parlour.

While he has been active on social media, Scotty has yet to address the claims.
