The final trailer for Andy Muschietti's upcoming horror film It: Chapter Two has arrived, and the intensity levels are absolutely through the roof. Send help.

The first trailer focused predominantly on a slow, increasingly uncomfortable confrontation, but the new one gives away more reveals and offers a faster pace.

The second half of Stephen King's legendary 1986 novel It is explored in It: Chapter Two, in the fictional setting of Derry, Maine. The 1,169-page book is fairly monstrous, to say the least.

Muschietti's 2017 It was a massive hit in the cinema, featuring seven Derry kids becoming aware of a horrible monster preying on their town. The kids set out to fight it, stopping our hearts in the process.

The monster is a shapeshifter, but wears the face of a dancing clown named Pennywise normally. Bill Skarsgård's acting skills as the clown have honestly ruined our lives forever.

While the children somehow defeat Pennywise, It: Chapter Two is set 27 years later and they learn pretty quick that Pennywise is still alive. They therefore decide to return to Derry to fight him one final time.

The first It scared the sh*t out of us, but the latest film looks like it'll have a similar dynamic of Pennywise attacking the kids in turn.

The adult version of the 'Losers' Club' (James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Bill Hader, Jay Ryan, James Ransone, Andy Bean, and Isaiah Mustafa) face Pennywise once again in isolated settings before the final battle.

There'll be plenty of screaming, that much is certain. It lands in cinemas on September 6, prepare the night lights for sleep.

29-year-old journalist Lyra McKee will be laid to rest today. The writer’s funeral will take place at the Belfast Cathedral of St Anne. Thousands are expected to gather to say their goodbyes to the talented and compassionate journalist, including her loving family.

The family of Lyra issued a statement ahead of her funeral today. It reads: “On Thursday 18th April our beautiful Lyra was taken from us. A daughter, a sister, an aunt, a great-aunt, a partner, a niece, a cousin, and above all, a best friend and confidante to so many of us.”

“A friend to all, a gentle innocent soul who wouldn’t wish ill on anyone. Such a warm and innocent heart, she was the greatest listener, someone who had time for everyone. She was a smart, strong-minded woman who believed in passionately in inclusivity, justice and truth.

“Lyra spoke to and made friends with anybody and everybody, no matter what their background, those of all political views and those with none. This openness, and her desire to bring people together, made her totally apolitical.

“We would like to thank everyone for the outpouring of support and love we have witnessed this past few days. It has been of immense solace that Lyra meant so much to so many. We ask everyone who knew Lyra to continue her message of positivity and hope, by respecting her memory with dignity and respect.

“We as a family know that the whole community has been touched by the events of Thursday night and that many are rightly angry. However, we would ask that Lyra’s life and her personal philosophy are used as an example to us all as we face this tragedy together.

“Lyra’s answer would have been simple, the only way to overcome hatred and intolerance is with love, understanding and kindness.

“We are a private family and would ask as a family that our privacy is respected at this impossibly difficult time. We will, in time, speak to you all, but need space and time in the coming days and weeks to deal with the trauma of Lyra’s sudden tragic death. Until that time, we would request that all media contact could be made via our legal representatives.”

Our thoughts are with the family and friends of Lyra on this devastating day.

It has been reported that a gunman shot Lyra in the head as she attempted to cover riots on the Creggan area of the city.

Close friend of Lyra McKee, Matthew Hughes expressed his devastation at the loss of his dear friend.

“She was one of my closest friends. She was my mentor. She was a groomswoman at my wedding. I can't imagine life without her, and yet now I must. I'm devastated.”

Sinéad Gleeson added: “It’s utterly senseless and such a waste. Lyra, at 29, was a blazing comet; fearless and full of integrity (and mischief, it has to be said). Heartbroken for her family and friends, and for all the challenging and brilliant work we will never get to see. Thank you @LyraMcKee.”

Lyra was set to release her first book The Lost Boys in 2020.

Tánaiste Simon Coveney paid tribute to the writer: “Sick to my stomach at death of Lyra McKee in Derry. She was an inspiring thinker and journalist. Last night she was killed by a thug terrorizing people in Derry.”

“Heartbreaking news. A senseless act. A family has been torn apart. Those who brought guns onto our streets in the 70s, 80s & 90s were wrong. It is equally wrong in 2019. No one wants to go back. My thoughts are also with the brave officers who stood in defence of their community,” said Arlene Foster.

Channel 4's Derry Girls is easily one of the best shows on television at the moment, and we've been eagerly awaiting season two for MONTHS.

The hilarious antics of Northern Irish schoolgirl Erin and her best friends, plus an English boy as a hanger-on, had audiences in stitches laughing.

Lisa McGee, creator of the series, has been teasing season two for weeks, but Nicola Coughlan (who plays Clare) has finally given us the Channel 4 air date:

Derry Girls are BACK on Tuesday March 5 at 9:15pm, set your clocks ladies and gents. The trailer for the next season was released, much to the delight of fans, and it seems like the crew are more amusing as ever.

Saoirse-Monica Jacskon (Erin) and Lisa McGee discussed what fans can expect in a recent interview, and the hype is BUILDING:

"It's definitely bigger and braver. It's bolder and we sort of venture out a bit more. But they're still the same characters, they're clumsily trying to find their way through their teenage years. They're selfish and mental!," said Jackson.

It's already been confirmed that Father Dougal himself, Ardal O'Hanlon, has joined the cast. This is the cherry on top of the Derry ice-cream.

Lisa McGee also said that the new season will be set "against the backdrop of the beginnings of the peace process. The gang are very much still getting in and out trouble. They're still trying to grow up – not very successfully!"

Jackson said in another interview with the BBC that "in episode one, we meet a group of Protestant boys- which is very interesting for each of the characters."

"In episode two, we've an inspirational teacher, so, it's very special that we're all getting to see it for the very first time in Derry".

WE CAN'T WAIT. Bring on March 5, and the Protestant lads. Season two is going to be chaotic and gas craic altogether judging by these early premiere reactions.

Here's the trailer again, because we know you can't stop viewing it:

A young boy who was found lying on the side of the road with major injuries has died in hospital.

The six-year-old was found on Tyrconnell Street in Derry around 10.30am this morning.

He has been named locally as Donnacadh Maguire.

While officers are looking into how the boy sustained the injuries, a man has been arrested in connection to the death.

A Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) statement said: "While it is possible that Donnacadh's injuries were sustained as the result of a collision with a vehicle, we are working to establish exactly what happened and we are keen to speak to witnesses."

The police are urging people in the area to come forward if they have any information.

He was the cutie from Derry – who went on to reach the finals of 2008's X Factor. Indeed, he finished third behind only Alexandra Burke and runners-up JLS.

And while Eoghan Quigg made an unsuccessful bid to represent Ireland at last year's Eurovision (not to mention a disastrous solo album offering early 2009) he's otherwise been absent from the music scene.

Still, here at SHEmazing! we were delighted to stumble upon his Instagram account – a platform on which he boasts some 6,000 followers.

There, the now 23-year-old shares snap-shots from his life – and it seems that he's a lover of football, working out, and tattoos.

And while back in the day he courted PLENTY of attention from the ladies (not to mention a certain fellow X Factor contestant Diana Vickers) it doesn't seem that the former singer has anyone special in his life right now.

Form an orderly queue, folks!

It looks like Courteney Cox’s daughter Coco is having a blast on her holidays here!

The 10-year-old jetted into Co Derry earlier this week with her famous mum and her fiancé, Irish rocker Johnny McDaid.

The trio made the most out of their time in the city as they enjoyed a shopping trip to jewellers D Cooley during their visit.

While the famous couple posed for photos with staff members, Coco was sure to get in on the action too by photobombing her mum’s snap!

Super cute!

Courteney and the Snow Patrol star are rumoured to be searching for wedding venues during their visit to Ireland, but they may wed in Courteney’s native Alabama to be close to her elderly mum.

Ireland for a honeymoon perhaps – Kim and Kanye style!
