Our favourite little elephant is set to hit the big screen once again, in a live action remake of Disney's Dumbo

Tim Burton, the genius behind The Nightmare Before Christmas, is planning to produce this reboot, and is already approaching some of Hollywood's biggest actors.

This week it was confirmed that Will Smith is in talks with the producers of the film, to play the father of children who form a bond with Dumbo.

Tom Hanks is also being considered for the role of the movie's villain, which would certainly be a change from his typical roles.

Snapchat is probably one of the fastest-growing social media networks of the past few years.

And with 2017 looking huge for the the company, it looks like another major player is hopping on board.

Disney has announced that they will create short shows that will exclusively be available on Snapchat for a 24-hour period.

According to Reuters, the first show will be called Watch Party: The Bachelor, and you won't have to wait to see it, because it kicks off January 3.

It'll be about recapping the events of the US TV show, as it starts its 21st season on January 2. And taking from this, the Disney shows will be aimed more at adults than children – so that's good news for us!

Apart from that though, the two companies are said to be working closely together and have extensive plans for the months and years to come.

We can't wait!

It is common knowledge that my two favourite things are Disney and makeup, so this is really exciting for me.

Hold on to your hats ladies, because there is a collection of Disney makeup out there… and it is FAB-U-LOUS.

The line of cosmetics is sold by Ella's Shop, which is a popular Amazon boutique based in South Korea.

The wonderful ladies in Ella's offer a range of Disney-inspired products, such as lip tints, lip balms and face powders.

The best bit? All the products are housed in gorgeous Disney packaging- with prices starting from just €10… not bad!

Needless to say, I will be ordering one of EVERYTHING!

Artist Alania Bastain has created a series of drawing called Humanized, which re-imagines Disney animals as humans.

Artist Alaina Bastian, in her series Humanized, has been reimagining animals from classic Disney movies as humans, complete with their own unique personalities.

Alania has transformed beloved animated animals into cartoon humans, and the results are amazing.

Her favourite piece is Duchess and Thomas O'Malley from The Aristocats, she said.

The artist spoke to Buzzfeed, where she explained the inspiration behind the amazing series of images.

“I’ve also pulled a lot of inspiration – specifically for The Lion King and The Jungle Book – from the musical and live performances,” she said.

She told Buzfeed that her favourite piece is Duchess and Thomas O’Malley from The Aristocats... (same, though!)

Bastian told BuzzFeed that she plans on continuing the project, and is already working on sketches of Louis from The Princess and the Frog, as well as Mickey Mouse and Bambi.

With regards to her approach to the drawings, she said that she “decided to draw them in the styles of their movies, and keep consistent shape language and features, to interpret the character in a more thorough and believable way”.

 We are loving these!

As a self-diagnosed Disney maniac, my dream is to have a wedding that incorporates the brand I love so much.

So naturally, when I stumbled upon this AMAZING wedding, I got overwhelmed with the excitement.

Ty and Ashley are also Disney fanatics, and when the time came for the two of them to plan their wedding, they decided to theme each table after a Disney classic.

Each table at the wedding reception had a special centre-piece related to a Disney film… CUTE!

It was not just the tables that were Disney focused, with loads of magical touches included in the couple's special day.

The couple's wedding cake was inspired by the heart wrenching Disney classic, UP! and the couple even had their honeymoon in Disney World (shocker!).

Emma Watson has refused to wear a corset for her latest movie, Beauty and the Beast.

The actress is taking the princess to a whole new level, and believes she's a more 'active princess'. Oh, and did we mention she's made her into an inventor as well?

The film's costume designer, Jacqueline Durran said: "In Emma’s reinterpretation, Belle is an active princess. She did not want a dress that was corseted or that would impede her in any way.

“The dress was designed with easy, active moment in mind – Watson isn’t wearing a corset underneath.”

In the original Disney flick, Belle is the ultimate bookworm, while her father is an inventor, but Emma turned the tables on that one too, making Belle into a creator herself.

She recently told Entertainment Weekly: "I was like, ‘Well, there was never very much information or detail at the beginning of the story as to why Belle didn’t fit in, other than she liked books. Also what is she doing with her time?’

“So, we created a backstory for her, which was that she had invented a kind of washing machine, so instead of doing laundry, she could sit and use that time to read instead. So, we made Belle an inventor.”

We don't think anyone else could play a princess so perfectly.

She’s an outspoken feminist, an advocate for ditching makeup and now Alicia Keys has revealed herself as an opponent to the Disney classics.

In a new interview with Net-A-Porter’s The Edit, the Girl On Fire singer claimed she doesn’t like her sons watching Snow White because of the way in which its female protagonist is presented.

“I feel like it’s by design that I’m raising boys; like there’s a reason. I really feel that,” she said of her relationship with six-year-old Egypt and ten-month-old Genesis.

“They say that every child learns from their mother — it’s ingrained from babyhood.”

“Have you watched Snow White lately?” she asked.  “I get real funky about the classics; I don’t like [my sons] watching it.  It’s totally sexist, misogynistic – she’s cleaning for seven dwarfs.”

Clarifying that her issue lies with the way Snow White’s role is portrayed as opposed to the role itself, the 35-year-old said: “There’s nothing wrong with a woman who chooses to stay at home with her family, it’s a hard-ass job, but it’s the way it’s spoken about.”

Sunday family vibes… I do it all for them

It doesn't get more classic than Snow White, ladies. It was the movie that basically started off the Disney princess fandom way back in 1937, and it hasn't stopped since.

We've seen numerous remakes in the past couple of years, but this one is looking to be pretty major.

According to Hollywood Reporter, Disney is planning to keep all of the original songs in the remake and has also hired Girl On The Train screenwriter Erin Cressida Wilson to write the script.

And not only Erin, but the songwriters behind La La Land (Emma Stone and Ryan Reynold's new flick) are set to be joining as well.

With Lily James as the new Cinderella and Emma Watson as the the new Belle, we're guessing there's going to be some big names in this film too.

We might have to wait a couple of years until it hits our cinema screens though, as Emma Watson's Beauty and the Beasts won't be out for nearly another year.

Here's to waiting!

If you grew up watching The Little Mermaid and Cinderella, then it was probably your dream to get married in Disney, under the enchanted castle and above all the fairy lights.

Disney World in Orlando made this dream possible to many brides last year, but now the theme park is taking it up a notch by making weddings available to couples after dark.

Yep, starting in early 2017, you can say 'I do' in the Magic Kingdom in front of 300 guests, just as the sun sets.

And after the ceremony, which you can customise 'til your heart's content, you can spend the rest of the evening celebrating in Fantasyland.

Sounds pretty amazing, right? But that's when the money comes in.

If you want all of this, the most basic package price is $180,000 (€164,000) and a Disney rep told Huffington Post that it only goes up from there.

Our dreams will come true… someday…

We all met Miley Cyrus as Hannah Montana on the Disney Channel.

Obviously, it was the show that catapulted her into the big time and made her a household name, but now, Miley has opened up about how she was treated on the show, and it wasn't good. Wasn't good at all.

While speaking to Elle in her new cover shoot, Ms Cyrus said her childhood dream became an absolute nightmare by the end of the fourth season.

"I did not grow up spoiled in any way. I just wanted to be on TV. I mean, at one point – they'll probably kill me for saying it – I was probably the least paid person on my cast because I didn't know any better.

"I was just like, 'I can be on Disney! Yeah, I want to do it!'"

And if you thought, like us, that her dad Billy Ray was 'in the industry' and must have known what he was doing with his daughter's career – that's further from the truth.

"He so wasn't [in the industry]," Miley said. "My name was Miley on my show, but I didn't own my name – we didn't think about that.

"My mom started understanding how many people take advantage of a child, so she hired smart people to protect me in that way."

What a crazy life Miley has had!
