Having grown up in what could be described as the Disney renaissance, Disney films still hold an important place in our hearts.

They're ideal for easy watching on cosy Sunday afternoons or binge watching for the nostalgia alone.

Despite there being so many amazing Disney films out back in our day, the animation company are still creating imagination-capturing works of cartoon art, and this is no more apparent than in the 2013 flick Frozen.

Now, the film has finally got an official release date for the sequel, and we couldn't be more excited.

Taking to Twitter, Disney confirmed that the world of Arendelle and the lives of Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf are returning.

The release date has very aptly been set for November 27, 2019, so we will be in the depths of winter when it arrives.

Kristen Bell, who voices little sister Anna in the film, also took to Twitter to share the news, and it's exactly the kind of weather forecast we wanted.

Sadly, we will be waiting wo years for the release, but at least that gives us time to brush up on the old storyline so we are perfectly well versed for the next.

Would you be down with Harry Styles taking on the role of a young Han Solo? Because we totally would.

Reports today are suggesting that Harry was considered for the role of Han, but it was ultimately given to Alden Ehrenreich.

However, Disney execs are not ruling out the former 1D star for future Star Wars characters.

An insider told The Sun: "Harry was one of the early names in contention when the studio looked at Han Solo.

"Even though he had virtually no acting experience, they saw he had huge star potential and would give the solo project enormous publicity.

"On initial inquiries Harry had his music career laid out and it would have been almost impossible to lock him down for the job."

However, there has been talks at Disney about having him come in again for other projects they are considering.

"The rumoured Obi Wan stand-alone movie may not star Harry in the lead role but could see him play a smaller part," the source added.

"Everyone had nothing but praise for him in Dunkirk, and he and manager Jeff Azoff are carefully picking out what movie role he should take next."

Harry is set to make his movie debut with the release of Dunkirk on July 21, and we can't wait to see what he has to offer.

Disney is having a bit of love affair with live-action remakes, and after the success of Beauty and the Beast, we're not surprised.

The Lion King is the next cartoon classic set to get a realistic makeover, and Beyoncé  is the front runner to voice the female lead, Nala.

The Grammy Award winning singer has not yet made a decision about taking the role, according to Variety

A post shared by Beyoncé (@beyonce) on

The star has not yet accepted the role on the basis that she is currently enjoying her pregnancy with twins, but producers are reportedly more than happy to accommodate the busy mum's schedule.

Donald Glover is set to voice Simba , while James Earl Jones will be taking up his original role as Mufasa, who he gave a voice to in the 1994 film.

The Lion King would be Queen B's first movie role in quite a while, but the star is quite accustomed to being on the big screen.

Beyoncé was well received in her role in Dreamgirls. She has also previously appeared in Austin Powers, where she adopted the persona of Foxxy Cleopatra.

She has also performed in another voice-over role in Epic as Queen Tara, and she gave a dramatic display in the thriller Obsessed.

We seriously hope she takes the role!

Disney fans, take note.

If you have plans on May 20th, cancel them, because the Prince Charles Cinema in London's West End is hosting an all night Disney sleepover.

It's like all our childhood dreams are coming true at once.

The cinema will be showing seven Disney films, Alice in Wonderland, The Jungle Book, The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin and The Lion King, along with one very exciting mystery movie on the night.

This reminds us of our childhood evenings spent swaddled in blankets, eating popcorn and settling in with a good Disney video. *Sigh*

The movie marathon will run all night, from 8.45pm to 9am the following morning.

So, we think it may be time to book tickets to London pretty soon, right?

If you can't make it over for this amazing event, simply make a blanket fort and get the laptop out to return to your childhood instantly with your favourite film.

Sunday evening plans sorted.

If this isn't the best movie idea ever, we don't know what is.

Apparently a script has been written for an Avengers-style Disney princess movie, and it's floating around Hollywood as we speak.

According to Tracking Board, the currently titled Princesses has been sent out to all studios, with the hope that Disney will pick it up.

Beloved princesses such as Belle, Cinderella, Snow While, Ariel, Jasmine and Rapunzel will all take part in the action movie, with the hope that Elsa, Anna and Moana will be involved too.

And if you're wondering why the script is being sent to numerous studios, it's because most princesses actually belong to public domain, with only recent princess characters being trademarked by Disney.

Hello Giggles further claims that director Joachim Ronning, who is behind Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales and Netflix show Marco Polo, is already attached to the film.

This. Will. Be. EPIC.

Yep, it's Sunday, and soon that weekend feeling is totally going to leave your body.

Instead, the Monday blues will worm its way in and feelings of horror and despair will enter.

OK, we're being totally over the top here, but Sunday nights can generally suck.

So, to lighten up the mood and make you forget that the working week starts all over again in a matter of hours, here are ten Disney classics to cheer you up:

1. The Lion King

You might shed a tear or two but this flick is full of drama and also includes great songs to sing along too… HAKUNA MATATA.

2. Cinderella

Nothing beats this classic fairytale. Magic, talking animals and a happily ever after… Perfection.

3. Peter Pan

This childhood classic will take you on a wonderful journey to Neverland and beyond (we sometimes wish we could go to Neverland, too).

4. Lady and the Tramp

A tale of true romance.. in animal form of course. The spaghetti scene <3

5. Snow White

This movie is a piece of history, as it was the first ever animated Disney film. A true classic.

6. Dumbo

This beloved film has a beautiful message that everyone should learn. Never judge a book by their cover, no matter how big their ears are.

7. The Aristocats

An exciting adventure across Paris? Talking kittens? SOLD!

8. Oliver and Company

This is the perfect sing along movie, with Billy Joel voicing the main character. PLUS more talking cats.

9. The Little Mermaid

No explanation needed. This is the perfect film for everyone.

10. The Jungle Book

Everyone loves this film… it is a scientific FACT! It will put a smile on your face at the end of a long week.

101 Dalmatians was one of our favourite Disney movies.

The 1950s fashion, the brilliant illustrations of London and of course, the animated puppies were all so adorable.

Our feelings on the movie hasn't changed much since we were kids, so we were delighted to find out that Cath Kidston is creating a 101 Dalmatians collection.

Cath Kidston's collection uses the original artwork from the Disney film

Following on from the success of the Minnie and Mickey collection last year, this will be the company's second Disney line.

The design team have gathered original illustrations from the Disney archives (above), so just imagine monochrome, blush tones and gorgeous dotty pups.

The designer has given us a sneak peek on her Instagram page with a video featuring Patch the puppy.

"You'll be seeing spots and falling in puppy love with the next #DisneyXCathKidston collection!" exclaimed the IG post.

The line will be available online and in stores from May 26.

Whether you want to buy one for your 12-year-old niece or you know… you, these Disney princess chokers are absolutely everything.

And they're basically made by a real princess (kinda – they're made by actress, Courtney Reed, who plays Jasmine in Broadway's Aladdin, so she's basically a princess, right?).

Anyway, aptly named The Princess Collection, it includes 15 different necklaces which are all inspired by movie heroines, ranging from Elsa to Mulan and Meg.

We're pretty obsessed with Pocahontas' choker, because it brings back those early Naughties vibes, but the whole collection is gorgeous:

Mulan, Mulan

Ariel, The Little Mermaid

Snow White, Snow White and the Seven Dwarves

Aurora, Sleeping Beauty

Meg, Hercules

Elsa, Frozen

Anna, Frozen

Tiana, The Princess and the Frog

Rapunzel, Tangled

Pocahontas, Pocahontas

Belle, Beauty and the Beast

Moana, Moana

Jasmine, Aladdin

Cinderella (Part 1), Cinderella

Cinderella (Part 2), Cinderella

We're super excited for the release of the new live-action version of Beauty and the Beast, hitting cinemas next week.

One beauty brand that is clearly as excited as us is Skin Inc, who have teamed up with the fairytale creators at Disney to produce a gorgeous serum, for all the modern day Disney princesses.

The Limited Edition Disney's Beauty and the Beast Get Glowin' Serum is hitting the online shelves on March 15, two days before the movie release.

A post shared by Skin Inc Global (@iloveskininc) on

The brand originally teased the collaboration, posting a picture to Instagram with this caption:

"We have a top secret collab up our sleeves… do you know where this line comes from?"

"'She warned him not to be deceived by appearances, for beauty is found within.'"

The limited edition serum comes in a beautiful bottle, the exact same shade as Belle's ball gown.

We'll definitely be trying to get our virtual paws on this beauty when it launches.

Disney's remake of Beauty and the Beast is probably one of the most anticipated movies for this year.

And it seems that every few weeks we're getting small glimpses of what the flick will be like, which is making us more and more excited for its release.

The latest glimpse into the movie is meeting Luke Evans, who will play the handsome yet troublesome Gaston.

Pictures of the man in question made Twitter soar into a frenzy, with many describing how "hot" he is.

We're going to have to wait until March 17 to see him in action.

We pretty much refuse to grow out of our Disney obsession here in Shemazing! HQ.

Between Disney colouring books and bags, to Minnie Mouse heels and make-up, our love for the brand seems to grow deeper everyday.

And what's better than mixing your love of Disney with booze, huh?

These Disney Princess inspired cocktails are magical

A bar in Glasgow honed in on the trend and made a princess-inspired cocktail menu that sounds abso-f*cking-lutely amazing.

Driftwood Bar launched the menu last week, and shared a photo of the fantasy drinks on Facebook.

With names such as the Poison Apple, Under the Sea, and Let it Go, we kinda really want to try them all at once. And at £3.50 (€4.10) a pop, we didn't think a drinks menu could ever look so good.

We want to book a weekend away just to taste these Disney cocktails.
