Uh-oh… Dreamworks and Walt Disney will part ways next year
It looks like there's another major Hollywood break-up on the cards.
Stephen Spielberg's Dreamworks is reportedly in the midst of ending its distribution partnership with Disney next year.
The deal was made six years ago in 2009, which established that Dreamworks' productions were distributed and marketed by the Walt Disney Company.
However, according to the Hollywood Reporter, the deal will end in August 2016 and WILL NOT be renewed. Nooo…
Saving Private Ryan and Gladiator were among the movies that were produced within the deal.
Spielberg's big-screen adaptation of Roald Dahl's The BFG is set for release in 2016 and will reportedly be the last film released under the partnership.
Reports claim that Dreamworks are set to do a deal with Universal instead.
