EVERYONE knows that when you’re in dire need of a juicy burger, you hit up Gourmet Burger Kitchen, right?

And while the good folk there have been tending to our needs for years, this amazing announcement proves that they’re not about to stop there.

In fact, they’ve only gone and upped the ante completely.

Hitching their star to the nation’s favourite biscuit, GBK have launched the Mikado Shake, and we are falling all over ourselves here at SHEmazing! HQ.

This cool, creamy, coconutty, strawberry swirled shake which is topped off with an actual Mikado is available for a limited time only, so we’re struggling to find a reason not to sprint there right this second.

Form an orderly queue, ladies.

All this week, the lads behind the Happy Pear have been celebrating National Vegetarian Week like absolute pros.

From their unbelievable Jumbo Jaffa Cake to their Vegan Chocolate Lasagne, Dave and Steve know how to knock it out of the park when it comes to recipes which satisfy our sweet tooth without leaving us riddled with guilt.

And that, ladies, as we all know is no mean feat.

In addition to schooling us on desserts which don’t have to be chock-full of ‘processed baddies’, the HP lads have also reminded us that these incredible creations can work just as well under a Christmas tree or in a birthday gift-bag as they can in our own bellies.

We’re not sure whether we’re completely on board with that idea just yet, and we can’t promise we’ll try, but we’ll TRY to try.

Ladies, prepare to drool all over yourselves.

As a nation, we're definitely more up for the craic than the confrontation.

Whether it came to sibling rows or schoolyard bitchiness, rocking the boat or stirring the pot is something most of us were advised against when growing up, and woe betide anyone who went against an Irish Mammy's teachings, right?

And while that attitude may have stood to us at some points, it looks like this particular approach has definitely seeped into adulthood if recent research carried out by Lyons Tea is anything to go by!

So, we may fancy ourselves as a nation of foodies, but according to Lyon's Get It Off Your Chest campaign, a whopping 75% of us have actually kept schtum and ate up upon receiving the wrong order in a restaurant – Sacrilege, right?

Oh, and we may love nothing more than a good session, but 34% of us would feign an illness to get out of a social event while a further 16% would bemoan the lack of babysitter in order to flake out on the couch.

So, why are we so fearful about 'fessing up and getting it off our chest?

1. Lack of confidence

We caught up with Pauline Browne, Marketing Director for Lyons, who told us that as a nation we all fear being that ONE person who has an opinion on everything and makes no bones about voicing it.

Thankfully, us Irish are a creative bunch and quickly realised that tea is just another word for truth serum, with 80% of respondents admitting that they find it SO much easier to open up and pour it out if they're clutching a cup of tea between their hands.

2. Desire for the craic

Our nation's innate desire to be known as serious craic with top-notch banter can cripple us at times, and generally means we don't like 'fessing up if it will ruin the moment or take the good out of a situation.

Owing to this, the research showed that a staggering one-third of us will bail from a party the 'Irish' way ie. without saying goodbye to anyone, in case we're forever dubbed anti-craic by the others.

But unsurprisingly, we've learned that injecting a little humour into proceedings means we can speak the truth without being labelled a total buzzkill by half the group.

3. Fear of confrontation

With a whopping 40% of respondents admitting that they hate confrontation and will avoid it at all costs, it's no surprise most of us are prone to a white lie or two.

Pauline explained that "as a nation of 'uncomplainers', we'd rather avoid a sticky situation with a porky than put anyone out with the truth" – something most of us here at SHEmazing! HQ knew a little too much about.

Be honest (if you can!) and consider how many white lies our poor Irish Mammies were subjected to over the years. We know, we know, we were just protecting them, right?!

Yesterday, the peeps here at SHEmazing! HQ fell all over themselves for the Jumbo Jaffa Cake which the good folk behind The Happy Pear created in honour of National Vegetarian Week.

But immediately after we finished picking our jaws up off the floor and just before we turned vegan for life, Dave and Steve hit us with yet another dish which makes us wish we had even one-tenth of their talent in the kitchen.

Managing to combine our favourite dinner with our favourite dessert without going down the same route as Rachel from Friends, these lads have come up with the Vegan Chocolate Lasagne, and we are SOLD.

Free of refined sugar, milk and other processed baddies, this little gem is one serious winner.

Imagine strolling through your local town or city only to stop by a fountain spewing glorious amount of beer.

Well, that's what's going to happen in Zalec, Slovenia, as a forthcoming public beer fountain is going to become the city's top tourist attraction.

Fox News reports that the fountain will cost around €360,000 and it will be the first of its kind in Europe.

Zalec is known for its vast hops plantations, so there's no better place to put this boozy fountain. And if you're in need for a few drinks at happy hour, it's probably the cheapest place to go, too.

For €6 you get to fill up a specialised mug three times with a variety of different brews.

Zalec is currently a small town with a population of a little more than 5,000, but with this new wonderwall in place, we can see it becoming waaaay busier.

Turning 18 and finally being the legal age to buy alcohol is a huge milestone in our young lives, but with that, comes a lot of funny and interesting mistakes we made at that age! Here are a few of them!

1. Thinking you’ll automatically get in everywhere just because you’re finally legal
Unfortunately now we get the bouncer’s excuse of STILL being too young and/or being too drunk (do they not know we’re students and cannot afford the drinks inside the club?)

2. Spending wayyyyyy too much money
When you started going out you went overboard on new outfits, taxis and a few cocktails beforehand. At this stage, a night out consists of whatever outfit you don’t have any pictures on Facebook wearing, trying to get a free rickshaw from on Grafton Street and trying elaborate ways to sneak a naggin of vodka into the club!

3. Discovering that the person you kissed isn’t as good looking as you thought
You learn that the person you spent the night kissing isn’t as good looking as you originally thought, when you Facebook stalk him the next day. You decline the request and swiftly try to move on with your life.

4. No night out is complete without the banter in the take away afterwards
Making best friends with other people in your college is essential to cheapen the taxi fare home.

5. Realising you’re a complete lightweight, but not letting that stop you
Realising you’re a complete lightweight, but powering through the night in order to keep up with your friends and save face. It’s such a terrible mistake, but we were young and drunk at the time.

6. Losing your prized possessions in a drunken stupor
Finally now you understand that the best possible outcome from a night out is you return home with your phone, purse and preferably no hangover the next day.

Going to work with a hangover is one of life's punishments for having so much damn fun. However, we know exactly how to outsmart that pesky headache:

1. Have A Shower
Showers always make you feel better, but on days when you’ve been out drinking the night before, they have the added benefit of getting rid of the smell of alcohol from your skin. This is assuming you get up in time to have a shower before you leave, which we understand is an incredibly difficult task to accomplish during a hangover.

2. Eat Some Breakfast
Hard and all as it might be to stomach food at this hour, try and get something into you, even if it’s just half a granola bar or something. You’ll need fuel for the day and this will help get you to lunch.

3. Brush Your Teeth
Similar to the shower, it gets rid of that disgusting aftertaste of whatever you were drinking last night. People you talk to throughout the day will also thank you.

4. Drink Loads Of Water
When you drink alcohol, your body gets really dehydrated, and your brain actually shrinks as a result. Then the next day, headaches result from your brain going back to its normal size. So the more water you drink, the faster this can happen and the quicker the headaches will go away. How quickly depends entirely on just how much you had to drink the night before.

5. Eat Fruit
Fruit has got loads of natural sugars that can provide energy to get you through the day, and they are petty easy on the stomach as well. Bananas are probably the best because they provide potassium which is good if you’ve thrown up, and they also replace these things called electrolytes. Which is also good. Apparently.

6. Tactical Naps In The Toilet Are Key
The lack of sleep means that a nap might be in order, and the bathroom is probably the best place for it. Because you can lock the door, it makes it impossible for your boss or anyone else to walk in on you and catch you out.

7. Keep Your Head Down And Don’t Move Too Quickly
We're talking about keeping your head down as in avoiding your boss, or getting any complicated jobs. We don’t mean to actually keep your head down and rest it on the nearest available surface. If you need a nap, you know where the toilet is.

8. Go For A Walk
Fresh can really clear the head, so if you get the chance on your break or during lunch, get out of the building and just go for a wander. You’re not doing it for exercise so just take it as slow as you need to.

9.  Get A Ridiculously Greasy Lunch
You’ve already eaten the healthy fruit, so you’ve earned the greasy lunch. It’s not quite as satisfying as the take-away you had at 4am last night, but it’s still pretty good.

Scott Disick has become a celebrity in his own right from starring in Keeping Up with the Kardashians.

That’s why, following his hospitalisation on June 22, fans of the show were left worried as to his well-being.

More details are now emerging of the days leading up to his illness, with sources saying he was “partying really hard” in the week before he got sick.

While celebrating his 31st birthday party at a house in the Hampton on the 22nd, Disick had to be rushed to hospital after drinking too much.

News of this may not come as a surprise to those who watch KUWTK as this is not the first time alcohol has gotten Scott in trouble.

Apparently, the star has now realised the error of his ways and will no doubt be cutting back on his partying and drinking.

Scott is currently expecting his third child with partner, Kourtney Kardashian.

Feel better soon, Scott!
