Demi Lovato’s adorable pupper Buddy was tragically killed four years ago, after being attacked by coyotes, but the woofer hasn’t left Demi’s heart.

She has now decided to honour his memory with some new ink, which famed tattoo artist Dr Woo provided.

The Skyscraper singer got her second tattoo in a week, dedicating it to Buddy, who she shared with her ex-boyfriend Wilmer Valderrama.

On her Instagram stories, she showed off the new tattoo to her fans. It was drawn on her ankle, and features the late dog’s fluffy white face and the words; “Buddy was here”.

When Buddy passed away in 2015, the singer was left “absolutely heartbroken”. She wrote a message to her Instagram, writing;

“We are absolutely heartbroken to be writing this but Wilmer and I are devastated to inform you that we lost our little angel Buddy last Sunday,” Lovato wrote.

“He was taken from us way too soon in a tragic accident. And though I will never know why this had to happen, I do know that God only puts us through situations that we can handle so with that, together we are staying strong.”

She continued: “We have incredible people around us and so much love and support which is holding us up in this time of need.”

“Buddy was loved by so many people and as small as he was, he made a huge impact in our lives. He truly was human in a way and we were so blessed to have him in our lives,” she finished, emotionally.

On Saturday, she got a small rose tattooed on her pointer finger, and it’s beautiful.

She wrote a message thanking her talented tattoo artist;

“Thank you @_dr_woo_ for the incredible portrait of my late baby angel Buddy. RIP @DemisBuddy I will love you forever and never forget you.”

Only days ago, the singer marked six months of sobriety after struggles with addiction with her rose tattoo, a meaningful gesture.

Tattoo artist @winterstone shared a photo on Instagram of Lovato’s newest body art, writing; “You are a gem! Thanks for coming in!”

The rose is often used to symbolise new beginnings and hope, so it’s definitely perfect for Demi. We heart it.

A few weeks after singer Demi Lovato was suddenly hospitalised due to an apparent overdose, her mother Dianna De La Graza, has given an update on her daughter's recovery.

Demi is “doing really well.”

Lovato’s mother, Dianna De La Garza, spoke publicly about the incident for the first time in which she said it's been hard for the whole family, and she still gets frightened when thinking back on it. “I literally start to shake a little bit when I start to remember what happened that day,” she said.

In what only must have added to the distressing situation, she explained that on the day her daughter was taken ill, her phone was bombarded with messages from people expressing concern for her daughter but that she herself was unaware of what had happened until she spoke to the star’s assistant. She added that she was "in shock" but that she and her family quickly rushed to Lovato's side in hospital in Los Angeles.

“We got there as quickly as we could. [my daughters] Dallas and Madison and I jumped out of the car at the emergency room and ran into the emergency room to be by her side. She just didn’t look good, at all. She was in bad shape. But I said to her, ‘Demi, I’m here. I love you’. And at that point she said back to me, ‘I love you, too’.”

The Skyscraper singer was taken to hospital in July and later wrote a message to fans on her Instagram page saying she had learned addiction is “not something that disappears or fades with time” but that she would "keep fighting."

"[She is] doing really well”, adding: “She’s happy. She’s healthy. She’s working on her sobriety, and she’s getting the help she needs. That in itself encourages me about her future and about the future of our family.”

Demi is known for her open and honest conversations when it comes to her personal struggles with addiction and other health issues. We hope she's recovering and getting the help and continued support she deserves.

It has been more than five years since Amy Winehouse's untimely death, and those close to her continue to find ways to honour her memory.

The Amy Winehouse Foundation was founded by Amy's parents back in 2014, on what would have been the late singer's 28th birthday.

The foundation has since teamed up with Centra Care and Support to provide a new women-only recovery home in London for those battling with drug and alcohol addiction.

Amy's Place will provide a lasting legacy of support for women who wish to reintegrate into society and build a "fulfilling life" for themselves.

As part of the programme, women will be housed in one of 12-self-contained apartments that are part of Amy's House, and will be given shared control over services that will aid their recovery.

Amy's mother, Janis Winehouse stated that “This project will make such a profound difference to so many young women, enabling them to have a safe environment in which to re-build their lives."

Amy Winehouse passed away in her Camden home in 2011, when she was just 27, having experienced accidental alcohol poisoning.

Chester ‘Chet’ Hanks the son of actor Tom Hanks and his wife Rita, revealed that he was checking into rehab for drug addiction issues last week.

Previously known as Chet Haze, the aspiring rapper used his social media accounts to announce that he would be checking into rehab. He took to Instagram to say that he had become addicted to cocaine and needed help to work through his issues.

Tom, 59, has since praised his son for seeking guidance. He explained to Entertainment Tonight:

“As a parent, you love your kids unconditionally. You support them every step of the way.”

He added that he thinks he has to “applaud the bravery and honesty when it actually comes out of your own house.”

In the video clips posted to Instagram, 25-year old Chet said that he had become so addicted to cocaine that he “couldn’t even snort it up my nose anymore.”

"I just really had to take a look at myself and my life and the way shit was going and all the crazy stupid shit I was doing and just finally admit to myself that it wasn't working."

Chet also added that he found his dad’s fame put a lot of pressure on him growing up and his addiction struggles do stem from the challenges he faced trying to “fit in”. In the videos he also admitted to selling cocaine.

He explained in one video: "It's been a long journey discovering who I am because all the pressures that I've dealt with in my life – you know, being the son of my dad and everything."

Meanwhile, the other Hanks family members are competing with each other for box office fame.

Colin Hanks, Tom’s son from his first marriage to actress Samantha Lewes, will see his documentary All Things Must Pass: The Rise and Fall of Tower Records be released on the same day as his dad’s film Bridge of Spies.

Tom admitted that his son’s film made him cry and he’s hoping to have a “tweet-off” on the day their films are released to the public.
