Beyoncé performed with Ed Sheeran and it was AMAZING

It was as if all of our musical dreams have come true.

Saturday night marked the return of the Global Citizen Festival in NYC’s Central Park. The annual event aims to have every one, celebrity or not, involved in worldwide issues such as extreme poverty and inequality.

The festival was streamed live on US network MSNBC and there were plenty of people waiting to see the events unfold. A lot of the buzz around the festival was due to Beyoncé’s highly anticipated performance.

She managed to take some time out from her amazing looking family vacation and put on one of her trademark performances. She delivered the standard Queen Bey flawless costumes along with all those dance moves that make us wish we had half that rhythm.

However. There were also some surprises in store for fans.

Her almost hour long performance for 60,000 fans included fan favourites like Jumpin’ Jumpin’ and Drunk In Love. However, that particular tune got a bit of a makeover when she made this announcement:

"I want to bring out someone I respect so much," she teased. Yes, it's time for Ed Sheeran."

Yes Beyoncé!

Ed had already done his part in surprising the crowd by bringing out Chris Martin for a duet when her performed earlier that day. Fans however absolutely lost it when Ed joined Bey for an acoustic performance of her famous single.

Trust us, it will give you chills.

Ed wasn't the only star Bey introduced to the stage, she also introduced Michelle Obama to the crowd gathered at Central Park:

"I am honored to follow a woman whom I admire and adore, someone who believes as passionately as I do, the boundless promise of girls worldwide," the First Lady said of Beyoncé when she took the stage.

Will Ferrell appeared on a Jimmy Fallon special after last night's Superbowl where he competed in an EPIC lip-sync battle against Kevin Hart and Jimmy himself.

Kevin and Jimmy tried their best with their covers of John Legend's All Of Me and Kelly Clarkson's Since U Been Gone, but Will was the winner by a long shot with his rendition of Beyoncé's Drunk In Love.

Queen Bey is set to be sued after SHOCKING revelation!

Well this really doesn’t sound good for Her Royal Highness, Queen Bey.

The 33-year-old global superstar is being sued by a woman who claims Bey used her voice on her 2013 hit single Drunk in Love.

Monika Miczura says her vocals, in a track she performed in 1995 called Bajba, Bajba Pelem, were used in Beyonce’s smash hit, but were digitally manipulated in an attempt to conceal the fact.

The Hungarian singer, also known as Mitsou, filed the law suit on December 12^thand is seeking damages. She has also requested that the judge rule that the track cannot be played until her voice has been removed.

In addition to her apparent outrage that her voice was sampled and altered, Monika seems put out by the content of the final version of Drunk in Love, saying: “The sampling is used to evoke foreign eroticism alongside the sexually intense lyrics.”

Both Beyonce and her husband Jay Z feature on Drunk in Love and they performed the track together at the Grammy Awards in January.

Monika Miczura did not personally perform at the Grammy’s that night…

We’re not too surprised by this news given how successful Beyonce is, but now it’s official, as the singer has been ranked as the world’s most powerful celebrity!

It was revealed this afternoon that the Drunk in Love singer has managed to take the top spot on this year’s Forbes’ Celebrity 100 list. The list is created every year by the magazine where it annually ranks the world’s most powerful celebrities.

This year the magazine revealed that Beyonce had claimed the top spot, thanks to her earnings of over $115million in the last year!

And Oprah who usually takes the No.1 spot on the list, only managed to make the top ten.

This is the first time Beyonce has ever topped the list, ever since making her debut on it in 2004.

Rita Ora dispels all of those Jay-Z affair rumours with a song

Rita Ora chose to cover her idol, Beyoncé’s hit single, Drunk In Love, on a recent TV appearance.

Rumours had been rife for a few months now that Rita and Bey’s husband, Jay-Z, have been having an affair.

However, Rita shut those rumours down during a recent radio session, saying: “Don’t you dare disrespect Beyoncé like that ever again in your entire life. You should know better than that … that’s just straight up disrespect. You can’t even go there.”

Now, she proves her allegiance to her idol even more as she performed Bey’s song on television.

It looks like Jay Z and Beyoncé got an early start to Valentine’s Day.

Yesterday, the rap mogul treated his wife with a $2,390 gold and silver Tacori Promise bracelet.

What’s even more cute about the gift is the actual meaning of the piece of jewellery.

Apparently the band represents two individuals uniting through a promise and once the bracelet is fastened only the key holder can unlock is – Mr. Carter in this case.

The Drunk In Love rapper gave his other half an early gift because, “Beyoncé is always so eager and you can’t keep any secrets from her.”

There’s no doubt this gift is one of many – we can’t wait to see what else is in store for the 33-year-old diva.

A French photographer who was the first to confirm that France’s head of state was cheating on his first lady, Valerie Trierwelier, now claims that Barack Obama and Beyoncé are at it as well.

Claims of an affair between 52-year-old Obama and the 32-year-old singer were first made on Europe 1 radio station yesterday and have been circulating ever since.

Mr Obama is a big fan of the Drunk In Love singer and has invited her to perform on several occasions, one of which was his wife’s 50th birthday at the White House last month.

Although it has been reported that Barack and his wife have been a bit distant lately, we hope that these rumours aren’t true – especially since an alleged affair between Bill Clinton and Elizabeth Hurley turned out to be a big lie.

Let’s hope for the same thing here!
