Commuters are struggling to get to work this morning as six crashes have occurred across the capital.

Motorists are advised to take "extreme care" while driving in the wet conditions today.

Debris on the M50 caused traffic to slow down southbound between J7 Lucan and J9 Red Cow.

Meanwhile, two crashes occurred on the M1, with the first taking place on the top of M1 southbound at J4 Donabate.

The second was "on the slip road onto M1 southbound at J3 Swords at bad bend," according to AA Roadwatch.

In the city centre, inbound traffic was stopped at the North King Street and Church Street junction, with the traffic provider warning drivers to take a different route.

Back to the M50 and just under an hour ago there was a collision in the right lane of the M50 southbound just before the Lucan turn-off at J7.

Then heading over to the Northside, there was a crash on the Clontarf Road inbound just before the Alfie Byrne Road junction, which is still causing delays in both directions.

Be careful out there, ladies.

If you're about to travel home, avoid the M50 at all costs.

On a good day it's like a car park, but this evening, two separate incidents have taken place, blocking several lanes on the motorway.

On the M50 Northbound, traffic is down to one lane following a car crash.

The collision happened just after the J6 Blanchardstown turn off. Major delays have also been reported as tailbacks occur towards the J7 Lucan turn-off and J9 Red Cow turn-off.

Meanwhile, traffic is also slow on the M1, after a truck lost its load.

According to M50 Dublin Traffic Twitter account, "A truck has shed it's load southbound between J5 Balbriggan and J4 Donabate blocking the middle lane.

"Emergency services on route. Caution advised."

There are also reports of train services being delayed through Connolly Station after a truck ran into Amein's Street Bridge.

Be careful out there.

Una Thurman has been travelling around Ireland and none of us even noticed.

Yep, we didn't figure it out until the actress herself posted a picture on Instagram.

In the snap, Uma is cuddling up with her kids at George's Street restaurant Taste at Rustic.

And if you saw the launch of the restaurant's new menu during the week, then you'll know that she certainly enjoyed some good food.

The Pulp Fiction star captioned the photo: "Dublin Birthday for Maya, the best ever! Master chef at Taste at Rustic."

Maya will play Jo in the flick, while Willa Fitzgerald will play Meg, Annes Elwy will play Beth and Kathryn Newton will take on the role of Amy.
