According to reports by Page Six, the Oscar-winning actress Jennifer Lawrence is now sporting a sizeable engagement ring while out with Cooke Maroney.

Lawrence has been seeing the art gallery director officially since June of last year, when she was seen in New York City with Maroney.

Maroney is the director of New York's Gladstone art gallery, which boasts high profile clients such as Anish Kapoor, Lena Dunham's father and Matthew Barney,

The Hollywood Reporter has also confirmed the pair’s engagement. Lawrence has starred in several blockbuster films such as Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, X-Men and Mother!.

Her next X-Men project Dark Phoenix will be released this coming June, where she will be reprising her role as Mystique.

She has also just launched a new production company, Excellent Cadaver in order to produce films alongside her partner Justine Polsky.

Buzz of the engagement began after the two were spotted having a dinner at the restaurant Raoul’s, with the 28-year-old actress  showing off a “massive ring”.

Chris Pratt has opened up to Extra about his nerves when it came to approaching The Terminator for his blessing to marry his daughter, Katherine.

The 39-year-old admitted he was 'a little nervous', but was determined to go things the traditional way.

The Jurassic Park actor spoke about his appreciation for the conventional method of engagement and marriage;

"Well, I think any person who appreciates the tradition and asks a father for his daughter’s hand in marriage, it’s inevitably something that’s going to make you a little nervous. ‘But that’s sort of the beauty of it."

Luckily for Chris, Arnold already thinks he's 'fantastic', and sang his praises last week.

"That was really fantastic. She is so happy, they both are so happy. As I said to him, he is such a likable guy. I love Chris — he’s fantastic." He added: "Chris is a wonderful guy. They both look really great together, they’re both happy together, so I wish them both the best of luck.’"

Chris announced their engagement at the beginning of 2019, saying he was 'so happy' that his future wife said yes.

Speaking to US Weekly about the ceremony, the actor shared: "A little, you know, maybe fall, winter kind of thing and you know, we’ve got a lot to get done."

He was previously married to actress Anna Faris, but they officially divorced in 2018. He has been with Katherine Schwarzenegger for a few months, and the pair are clearly in love.

Iconic singer Kylie Minogue has been left 'very shaken' after a man refused to leave her London home, and launched 'sustained campaign' of harassment, The Sun reported.  

Following a complaint by the singer, the man has been issued with a harassment warning. Police were called to a house in Chelsea and Kensington on January 23, according to the Metropolitan Police.

The man, who is in his 40s, was lurking around her home for days, and her neighbours spotted him a number of times requesting to know where Kylie lives.

A nearby resident in West London said: "It came to a head when the man repeatedly pressed the intercom button to her home for hours on end last week and refused to leave."

Another neighbour said: "A weirdo guy was lurking around. He went door to door asking people where Kylie lived."  The man repeated the singer's name again and again, in a disturbing manner.

The apparent stalker was described as wearing a raincoat and possessing a European accent.

The star suffered another security issue a few months ago when a man made threats against her before her German performance in November.

Kylie as been seen enjoying her West London neighbourhood with her boyfriend, Paul Solomons. The 43-year-old is the creative director at British GQ and GQ Style magazine, and the pair went public last summer.

The singer was previously engaged to British actor Joshua Sasse, but they parted ways in February 2017. Kylie achieved her sixth UK number one last year when Golden reached the number one spot.

A number of celebrities have been plagued by stalkers and have been forced to hire extra protection or relocate, such as Tom Hardy and his wife Charlotte Riley, Noel Edmonds and Christine Lampard.

Is there anything better than the run up to an engagement? The nerves, the excitement, the planning, and the selecting of the ring.

Traditionally, in male-female couplings, it is anticipated that the man will pop the big question – and it seems that expectation isn’t going anywhere quite yet.

Despite the taboo of a woman asking a man to marry her finally being banished from our society, it seems that for most, the traditional romantic elements of a proposal are still important, with 98% of male respondents to a survey by Fields the Jeweller saying that they are the ones who asked the question.

95% of women in male-female couples echoed this, saying 95% of the time that their partner had got down on one knee.

When it comes to cost, almost a quarter of respondents said they spent over €2000 on an engagement ring, with a similar number spending over €1000. This amount is very close the average spending on an engagement ring in the UK based on a recent study.

Less than one fifth of respondents spend €4000 or over on this special purchase, while one in ten will spend less than €1000.

Lets talk time frames – is there ever a ‘right’ time to get married after falling in love?

Irish people seem to prefer to leave some time between the engagement and their wedding day.

Over 50% of respondents waited over 2 years to get married, with one quarter waiting over three years.

Less than one quarter of respondents got married within 12 months of getting engaged.

Gareth Gates is set to wed his girlfriend, Corrie actor Faye Brooks.

The couple had split up but got back together four months ago.

They are said to be planning a star-studded engagement party in Manchester to celebrate.

Faye, who plays Kate Connor in the soap, had spoken about her desire to settle down in 2018.

She said, ''I talk about getting married all the time but Gareth loves to surprise me."

They pair met six years ago when they were working on Legally Blonde: The Musical. 

While this will be Faye's first marriage, it will be the second time down the aisle for Gareth, who was previously married to Suzanne Mole.

It's official – Chris Pratt is set to tie the knot.

The actor has gotten down on one knee and proposed to his girlfriend, Katherine Schwarzenegger.

The pair have been dating for seven months.

Chris and Katherine, whose dad is Arnold Schwarzenegger, went Instagram official in December when he wished Katherine a happy 29th birthday.

He wrote, ''Happy Birthday Chief! Your smile lights up the room. I’ve cherished our time together. Thrilled God put you in my life. Thankful for the laughs, kisses, talks, hikes, love, and care.''

Chris' divorce from former wife Anna Faris was finalised in October; they split in 2017 and have one child together, five-year-old son Jack.

2018 has been a whirlwind year for Ariana Grande, from her career skyrocketing with her massively successful album, Sweetener, breaking streaming and chart records to blowing our minds with her Thank U, Next music video.

This is not the first milestone that the couple have celebrated this year as in September they bought their first house together in Ashtown. 

He said, ''We saved up really hard. I was living in my dad’s apartment. Me and Sarah were able to save up money to throw it off the house and then have a small mortgage.’

When it comes to the subject of kids, it seems that having a family isn't too far off for them.'

Philly said, ''It's hard for footballers. Considering you’ve the 30 hours playing football, you’ve work 50 hours and add kids on top of that… It’s quite difficult.’

He continued, ''I would like kids eventually but it’s all about timing. Obviously, I’m only one part of this, Sarah is the boss when it comes to making decisions. So we’ll see.''
