Ellen has some of the biggest stars on the planet join her in studio on a regular basis, and yet our favourite interviews ALWAYS involve children.

The more ridiculous and rambling the better, so we struck gold when seven-year-old Kai –  a regular on the show at this stage – was interviewed by Ellen this week.

Having revealed he's working on a six-pack, confused 'suite' and 'sweet', and melted all our hearts by repeatedly pronouncing 'really' as 'wheely', Kai performed an energetic performance of Cake by the Ocean.

And after all THAT, the budding footballer was surprised by a number of LA Galaxy players including our very own Robbie Keane who looked almost as pumped to be meeting Kai as Kai did.

Taking to Instagram after the big moment, Robbie wrote: "It was an honour being on @theellenshow and of course meeting Kai… Huge fan of Ellen and everything she does to help others. Loving the Ellen boxer shorts."

Ladies, check this out.

We're three weeks in to First Dates Ireland, and if you've tuned in from the start you'll know that Irish singles are absolute pros at creating toe-curlingly cringey moments, and tonight's batch of hopefuls are no different.

Look, we've all had that moment where we've forgotten someone's name or, even worse, called them by the wrong one, but at least our moment of horror wasn't caught on camera for the entire nation to cringe at like this poor young woman in tonight's episode.

Chatting to her potential future boyfriend over dinner and drinks, she broke the cardinal rule of a first date, and revealed she had actually forgotten his name by calling him by the WRONG one.

"Did I really say that?" she asked her disgruntled date whose name is SEAN. Sean, babes, Sean….not Shane.

And yes, you really said that.

Since hitting our television screens in 2010, Gary Beadle of Geordie Shore fame has dealt with his fair share of rumours, but it looks like the constant speculation into his love life is starting to take its toll on the 28-year-old Newcastle lad.

With rumours swirling that Gary cheated on co-star and on-again-off-again flame, Charlotte, one TOWIE star decided to weigh in on the discussion in a move which has made Gaz feel proper mugged off. (We're pretty sure that's how he'd say it.)

Taking to her column in Star magazine, Chloe Sims laid into Gary, writing: "I wasn’t surprised to hear Gaz Beadle cheated on Charlotte Crosby in Ex On The Beach – he’s done it before."

Furious with the Essex-native, Gay got straight onto Twitter, blasting: "@Chloe_Sims what you sticking your big gums in for you little dirty arse. #youhaventgotacluewhatyourtalkingabout."

Unsurprisingly, Chloe wasted no time hitting back at the Geordie lad, responding: "I was asked about it for my column, as it's in the press, I didn't say anything nasty? Pipe down little boy."

Fans of both reality stars weighed in on the spat, with many slamming Gaz for both his supposed infidelity AND the way he spoke to Chloe.

Ouch, bad week for the Gazster.

Ever since bursting onto the music scene in 2001 with her smash hit Fallin', we've had a major thing for Alicia Keys, so we are PUMPED that the über talented New Yorker has finally dropped her latest track.

In Common sounds like somewhat of a departure from Alicia's standard sound, but hey we're open to change from anyone who managed to convince us to return to piano lessons back in the day.

The track is the first single from her sixth studio album, and marks the star's return to the music scene after her last album, Girl On Fire, hit the top of the charts back in 2012.

Taking to Snapchat in recent days, Alicia told fans: "I've been dying to share some news with you for a while. You've been asking and asking and it's finally real."

"That's right, I have new music to share with you and I'm gong to be performing in the next couple of weeks," she continued. "That's right, I'll be performing my new music in my city, my hometown city, the best city in the world to me."

We are only buzzing to check out Alicia's performance of the track on Saturday Night Live this weekend!

Irish performer, Róisín O, is one of those musicians who always makes you feel like you're being given a snapshot into her personal triumphs and pitfalls, and since the release of her debut album in 2012 we haven't been able to get enough.

Authentic, relatable and über talented, Róisín has never failed to deliver on the lyrics and vocal front, but there's no doubt that the video for her latest track Give It Up is likely to win her even more fans and followers.

Shot in just one take and directed by bandmate John Broe, Give It Up boasts an incredible light display seconded only to Róisín's powerful performance and that absolute stomper of a chorus.

Vocally stunning and visually compelling, the track and video have, if possible, made us even more pumped for Róisín's gig in Whealans on Saturday May 14th.

Still to get your hands on a ticket? Here you go!

We’re going to be honest here ladies; when it comes to cartoons, we’re ALL about the nostalgia.

We can take or leave the newcomers, but there will always be a special place in our hearts for the likes of Scooby Doo, Tom and Jerry and our beloved SpongeBob SquarePants.

If you were a serious Scooby-Doo fan back in the day, you’ll be pumped to know you blazed a trail for the younger generations who are equally mad into the adventures of Scrappy, Velma and the whole gang.

In fact, according to research from Sky Kids, Scooby-Doo has been voted the all-time favourite kids show, with Lucy Murphy, Head of Sky Kids Content, saying: “It’s great to see Scooby-Doo standing the test of time and remaining a favourite amongst kids and parents.”

SEE! We knew we were on to a winner with that one.

Following closely behind the ghost-obsessed gang is everyone’s favourite cat and mouse duo while Nicktoons’ ever-optimistic hero, SpongeBob SquarePants, comes it at a very respectable third.

And with the study’s 2,300 participants revealing they re-watch their favourite shows a whopping 53 times a year, we feel a whole lot better about the SpongeBob binge-fests we have every Saturday morning.

There are certain Britain's Got Talent auditions which will always stand the test of time; Susan Boyle, Paul Potts and Connie Talbot to name but three.

But if Saturday's episode of the long-running talent show is anything to go by, it looks like Jasmine Elcock can now add her name to that memorable list.

Performing Cher's 1998 track Believe, the 14-year-old singer held the audience spellbound and even reduced judge, Alesha Dixon, and host, Ant McPartlin, to tears.

In a rare move, the show's hosts Ant and Dec made the executive decision to put the budding star through to the semi-finals by storming the stage and reaching for the Golden Buzzer.

If you're in a heap after Bank Holiday Sunday pints, you may want to gather yourself before pressing play on this one – The feels lads, the FEELS.

OK, we'll be honest, the official Twitter page of an Garda Síochána isn't always the most riveting of accounts, but every so often they'll post something which will remind you that the boys in blue are only MAD for the craic sometimes.

Taking to social media this afternoon, the boyos shared a snap of a box of discarded breakfast cereal which was recently discovered in the vicinity of the Phoenix Park.

Laying the lols on us old-school, they posted a message which reminds us of a joke our old Geography teacher might make, writing: "Crime scene discovered near Phoenix Park. Information sought, we may be looking for a cereal offender."

See what they did?! Yeah OK, they're not going to win any comedy awards, but God loves a trier, right?!

Kudos to yee, lads. You're only adorbs.

The internet is an absolute wonderland for anyone mad into brainteasers and mindbenders, but there are times when we're just not in the humour to be made feel ridiculous, and this is one of them.

As a result, we're kind of hating on Playbuzz right now for creating a puzzle which we were unable to solve in the five-second deadline.

The puzzle tests how quickly we process information, and thankfully for us, most of the internet is as slow off the mark as we are. (Hey, it's been a long week.)

Have a go and if you don't get it in time, check out the answer below!

OK, so we take it you didn't find the mistake in the measly five seconds allowed?

Don't worry girl, you're among friends, so we'll let you in on it.

The word 'the' is written twice.

Yeah, we know. Whatever.

If you've watched Geordie Shore since its infancy, you'll know that many, many Newcastle peeps have made their way onto the long-running MTV show, and while some have stood the test of time, others have bailed before it all got too much.

One young woman who made quite an impact during her time on the show was Rebecca Walker who joined the infamous gang alongside Vicky Pattison's ex Ricci Guarnaccio.

Failing to properly gel with the other girls in the house, Rebecca, who was introduced as a replacement for Greg Lake, didn't stay too long, and it looks the decision may have been the right one for her.

Today, 23-year-old Rebecca, who is mum to a little boy named Harry, has no intention of rejoining the show which brought us, among other things, delightful phrases including 'buck squad' and 'tashing on'.

"Would like to thank everyone for the lovely tweets in regards to the Geordie Shore reunion I didn't take part as I have Harry now and work commitments, although it would of been a blast and lovely to catch up with everyone," she recently wrote.

Looking nothing like the extension-sporting, mahogony-tanned Geordie who burst onto our screens in 2012, Rebecca now rocks a much more natural look, and we are LOVING it.

And although Rebecca seems very content with life right now, she recently told followers that her memories of the Geordie Shore journey were fond ones, tweeting: "I do miss being the carefree 18 year old girl who was once apart of all the madness xx."

With most of the GS girls undergoing transformations of their own, we wonder what they'd make of Rebecca's.
