OK, we'll admit, we were pretty damn proud when we finally nailed Chopsticks after 32 piano lessons back in the nineties, so anyone who can tickle the ivories with genuine talent will always have our admiration.

So when we came across footage of a security guard deciding to spice up his shift by performing a stunning rendition of Giorni Dispari by Italian composer Ludovico Einaudi, our jaws dropped.

Unbeknownst to Omar Tsereteli, he was being filmed by an equally impressed tourist who happened across him in the National Library of Parliament and knew they had witnessed something particularly special.

Having reached over half a million views in just a couple of days, we're pretty sure Omar has a very interesting future ahead of him.

Check this out!

 And ladies? Prepare for goosebumps.

You would think that Will Ferrell's classic performance in Anchorman would encourage newsreaders to be on their toes when it comes to the autocue, but it looks like that just hasn't happened yet.

Not if this major fail is anything to go by anyway!

Set up by some mischievous colleagues, a news anchor in the States delivered one of Anchorman's most memorable lines without even realising it during a broadcast this week.

After a little banter between him and his co-host, Brian Niznansky of NBC26 turned to the camera, paused and found himself delivering the classic 'I love lamp' line.

Oh, Brian.

And if that wasn't bad enough, he repeated it sheepishly a few times after realising his mistake.

Stop Brian, stop!

Lets be honest, some TV theme tunes are fairly catchy, right?

If you've never found yourself humming along to a soap's theme tune or breaking it down to the intro of your favourite show, then you're seriously missing out.

While most of us have been known to bust a fairly dodgy dance move to a particular track, we've never seen anyone have quite this reaction to Eastenders' fairly mournful theme song.

We'll be honest, we never really thought of the jam as one worth dancing to, but after checking out these two gals reactions to it, we realise we were wrong.

Oh, so very wrong.

Check this out!

Remember when you were a kid and really needed to know the ins and outs of the Easter Bunny's life, but were too scared to ask?

Yeah, us too.

Well, here's one seven-year-old who's definitely not afraid to ask the hard questions.

After declaring their love for the cute, furry rabbit that showers us with chocolate on one Sunday a year, this little kid decided to get straight down to business.

In a bid to find out what exactly was going on with everyone's favourite bunny, this child, who undoubtedly has a future in journalism, delved straight in and asked: "Did you and tooth fairy have babys (sic)?"

The super-cute questionaire has found its way onto Twitter and the public just can't get enough of it, with one user demanding to know more and writing: "Give us the goss on the tooth fairy. My jaw just hit the floor."

More on the Easter Bunny's love life as and when.

If, like us, you're planning on using Daylight Saving Time as a reason to get your burn on after work from now on, then perhaps this video will be your inspiration.

As the evenings start getting brighter for longer, it'll be tough to continue using cold dark nights as an excuse to stay on the couch and ditch your gym class or evening jog, right?

But after losing out on an hours sleep and having a hard few days on some much-deserved vino this weekend, you're probably feeling less than motivated right now.

Well, check out this video put together by Benenden Health which celebrates women getting their burn on since the dawn of the 20th century.

If they can do it in floor-length skirts we can do it in our snazzy work-out gear, right?!

How many times have you been involved in a dispute with someone, said nothing and then come up with the perfect response six hours later?

Yeah, us too.

Well, in honour of International Women's Day, we've decided to share a clip of one feisty little lady who knows exactly what she wants, doesn't stand for any BS and comes up wth the perfect response AT THE RIGHT TIME.

The clip, which shows 4-year-old Siahj Chase detailing a recent exchange at school, has hit the headlines because this little one managed to silence her bully with just one sharp-tongued, quick-witted reply and her proud mum knew it was vital she shared it with the world.

Check out Siahj's sassy comeback in this fantastic clip. Lets be honest, we could all learn a lot from this gal!

Us Irish love to complain about the difficulties we face when we venture abroad and announce the name our patriotic parents bestowed on us.

"Aoife. No. Aoife. Eeeee-fa!"

Oh we love nothing more than lamenting the fact we're met with blank faces and botched pronunciations when we declare ourselves, but do we ever spare a thought for people who arrive to Ireland or the UK and face similar confusion? No, we do not.

Lets start!

Poor, unfortunate Fanny Carlsson was recently denied a Sainsbury's Nectar card because her name was considered a little too rude for the supermarket giant's liking.

Having attempted to apply for a card online, the 19-year-old Swede followed the instructions, entered her first name as required and was then told to "Please enter a valid first name." Harsh.

Luckily, the young Swede saw the hilarious side and tweeted a screenshot of her failed application for everyone's viewing pleasure.

Commenting on the incident, Fanny spoke to the Daily Record, saying: "Because I already knew what 'Fanny' meant before I moved to England, I have chosen to call myself Linnéa at work. It's pretty much only when I talk to Swedes that I use my first name."

We're never complaining about our annoying Irish names again.

2014 was definitely a year for the ladies on the music front. Bey, Iggy and Taylor were blowing up the airwaves with majorly catchy tunes and frankly, we couldn’t get enough.

But apart from our girls doing it for themselves, this musical year was seriously memorable in other ways too.

We’ve compiled a list, in no particular order, of some of this year’s biggest music moments; the good, the bad and the very, very ‘questionable’.

Let’s do this.

1. Mariah Carey’s Rockefeller Centre performance of All I Want For Christmas was memorable for all the wrong reasons.

The pitch, the tone and the God-awful hand gestures quickly turned this classic Christmas cracker into a major Christmas turkey. Why Mariah, why?

2. Will Ferrell and The Red Hot Chili Peppers drummer Chad Smith had a drum-off on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and girls, it was amazing.

With almost 27 million YouTube views, it quickly became one of our favourite musical moments of 2014.  Seriously, are those lads twins?

3. Queen Bey, who is now the most Grammy-nominated woman of all time (no biggie), blew us all away with her performance at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.

Love her or hate her, after checking out that 17 minute performance there’s no denying that that woman has got serious talent.

4. U2 decided to ‘gift’ us all with a copy of their latest album Songs of Innocence which would have been super nice…if anyone had actually wanted it.

Figuring out how to delete Bono’s unwanted presence on your iPod became this summer’s main goal.

5.Turn Down For What, a track by Lil John and DJ Snake, caught the imagination of the public fairly swiftly and before you knew where you were, randomers on the bus would be straight-up asking what you’d turn down for.

When Michelle Obama got in on the action and danced with a turnip, we knew it had all gotten a little too real.

6. Taylor Swift majorly dissed Spotify (gaaaaasp), pulled her catalogue from the service and still went platinum. Oh, snap!

In fact, Tay broke records by making 1.3 million in sales in the first week of 1989’s release, which was the highest one-week total since Eminem released The Eminem Show in 2002.

7. We kinda thought we’d seen it all and then Nicki Minaj brought out her video for Anaconda. Erm, we’re hip, we’re cool and we blushed. There we said it.

Then Ellen recreated it and we lol’ed forever…then blushed.

8. Every year one act is inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and this year’s accolade went to 90’s grunge band Nirvana who we all adored back in the day when we went through our 'alternative' phase.

Celebrating the memorable music moment went to the late Kurt Cobain’s band mates, Krist Novoselic and Foo Fighter’s front man Dave Grohl, who said he was: "the luckiest person in the world."

9. A second entry for music royalty, Queen Bey. The megastar released 7/11 and the music world was seriously surprised by Bey’s departure from her standard, multi- camera, high-budget videos.

The star opted for a more relaxed vibe and shot herself dancing at various locations using her own static camera. Big or small production, she still nails it every time.

10. Ed Sheeran and our very own Hozier lived every man’s dream by performing on the same stage as the  V.S Angels at this year’s Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.

Props to the lads, they kept it together. Well, for the most part anyway.

Who doesn’t love a spontaneous festive proposal?! No one, that’s who!

So, massive props to Jonathan Carroll for making our day and indulging our romantic side by proposing to his girlfriend at Dublin airport.

Jonathan is currently living in the US and in a very happy relationship with his American girlfriend Mary Francis Turner.

The pair are so happy in fact, that Jonathan decided to ask the lovely Mary to be his wife live on Ryan Tubridy’s 2fm show which was being recorded in the airport!

Upon arriving in Dublin to visit her other half’s family for the festive season, Mary was met by Jonathan who got down on one knee and said: “Mary, I love you so much and it would mean the world to me if you would marry me.” Stop, we can’t cope!

Organised Jonathan had even done the traditional thing and asked Mary’s mother’s permission before the big proposal.

An overjoyed Mary said she was ‘overwhelmed’ and her shocked initial response to the big question was: “No. I mean yeah!”

We think there’ll be some serious celebrating in the Carroll household tonight!

The Late Late Toy Show is undoubtedly one of Irish television’s highlights of the year, so the news we’re about to share will no doubt be very welcome to you all!

There will not be just one, but TWO Christmas Toy Shows this year.

Yes, you are reading that correctly.

The fine folk at TV3 have noticed just how bonkers the nation goes for Ryan Tubridy in a Christmas jumper, and have decided to produce their own version of the beloved show this coming festive season.

A double dose of toy show madness? We are beyond excited!

Not many details about the project have been revealed so far, except that the show will run for 90 minutes and will be broadcast live from the RDS on Friday, Nov 21st.

And who are they lining up to rival Ryan? Well, all we know so far is that it’s a well-known celebrity face.

Hmm. We can’t wait to find out more!
