They’ve already talked five-year-plans and the possibility of marriage so really it shouldn’t come as any major surprise that Marnie Simpson has already met Lewis Bloor’s family.

But when you consider that the new couple only launched “the world’s longest first date” upon entering the Celebrity Big Brother house a little over a month ago surely it all seems to be moving a tad fast?

In her latest Star magazine column the Geordie Shore cast member revealed that she met her new beau’s family over the weekend and it went really well.

She wrote: “Things with Lewis have been amazing.  I met his family at the weekend!  I was nervous, but they felt they already knew me because they’d watched me on TV.”

And while expressing her opinions through a very public medium, Marnie decided to reiterate for those who mightn’t have realised that she and Lewis have kept their newfound love on the DL since leaving CBB.

The 24-year-old Geordie – who was previously engaged to TOWIE star Ricky Rayment – said: “As for people saying we’re a showmance, that’s ridiculous. Since we came out, we’ve kept everything private.”

Building on her BAE’s comments that they are well and truly in it for the long haul, Marnie added that she can see Lewnie lasting “a long time”.

It’s no secret that the Kardashian-Jenners have had mixed feelings about Blac Chyna since she entered the famous fam as Rob’s girlfriend earlier this year.

But at long last the one person who’s remained adamantly against their relationship seems to have given in, as last night’s episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians revealed that Khloé Kardashian is finally back on speaking terms with her brother.

With a little help of family momager Kris Jenner, KoKo and Rob ended their month-long silence – a situation which had stemmed from the only male Kardashian’s failure to inform his family of his daddy-to-be status before it went public.

Acting as a go-between for her adult children, Kris said to Rob: “You are her best friend and she has not talked to you in a really long time…She loves you so much and she misses her brother.”

Rob initially remained sceptical about whether or not he was actually Khloé’s BFF, before suggesting that his 32-year-old sister is the source of her own drama, not him.

According to the Mail Online, Kris then tried to convince Rob that he doesn’t have to sacrifice his relationship with his family for his engagement with Blac Chyna but again the celebrity sock entrepreneur was not totally convinced.

Family is everything!! I love my brothers!

He said: “No, I know, but you all are not that welcoming of this relationship so you can't expect me to be all like ‘Let's hang out and everything is cool and fine’ it's not that easy.”

Eventually Rob caved and called an enthusiastic Khloé.  He told her how their late father “would not be happy” with the fact that they had spent so long on bad terms.

Later Khloé and Rob were filmed discussing their issues, with Khloé insisting her brother does not have to eliminate himself from her life because of his relationship with Chyna.

Afterwards the radio talk show host told cameras: “It feels so good to have my brother back in my life. I just feel so much more safe and at peace that he is here and someone I can talk to and call and lean on and be that goofy brother.”

While rumours continue to circulate that all is not well between Rob and his significant other, it’s good to hear his familial relationships are finally on the road to recovery.

Cats are creatures of habit, we get that.

But when your need for ice cream is considered less important than a cat's need for ice cream, sparks are going to fly as one Twitter user found out this week.

Sharing screenshots of a conversation she had with her mother, Jenny Katz publicly outed her mam for caring more about Coco the cat's need for French vanilla ice cream than her own kid's.

Offering the public a back story for the heated exchange which took place between herself and her mam, Jenny said: "My mum will lay down and watch the news and Coco immediately knows it’s time."

"She sits right next to my mum and paws at the bowl when she wants more, it’s so cute."

But not so cute that Jenny felt she couldn't disrupt this nightly routine by chowing down herself.

Shame on you Jenny, even we knew that was Coco's.

MTV reality star Jenelle Evans has announced that she is pregnant with her third child – and this time it’s a girl.

This morning the North Carolinian brunette shared her big news in a sweet Instagram post which read: “Time to introduce the world to our baby girl soon, Ensley Jolie Eason.  She will be arriving Jan 28.  We couldn’t be any happier.”

The attached picture shows Jenelle and her current partner David Eason posing in a lake, with Jenelle gazing up at David while he looks down at her stomach.

Last month the Teen Mom 2 star’s pregnancy was indirectly revealed when she hit headlines after being involved in a car accident with David.

As the news broke, reports began to circulate that the 24-year-old television personality had told police officers at the scene that she was 10 weeks pregnant, before complaining of abdominal pain and being transferred to a medical centre.

At the time the young mother received major backlash online for becoming pregnant for a third time, with trolls mainly focusing on Jenelle’s well-documented history with substance abuse and the fact that all of her children will have different fathers.

Jenelle already had two little boys.  Jace – who is currently in the care of his grandmother Barbara Evans – is seven years old, and Kaiser – whose father Nathan Griffith actively appeared on the popular reality TV series – is now two.

There's The Rock… and then there's Dwayne Johnson.

The Rock is an uber bad-ass who works out 20 hours a day while Dwayne Johnson is a complete and utter softie.

And it looks like the latter took to Instagram last night if a recent post on The Rock's page is anything to go by.

Sharing the sweetest video of himself and his nine-month-old daughter, Jasmine, playing their favourite game, Dwayne wrote: "Finally my big head is used for more than just a place to hang my hat."

"The joys of being home w/ my ohana and playin' one of our fav games – slap daddy's head 'til I can see his big scary face," he continued. (sic)

"Song playing in the background is "O Tiare" (Justin Young). A song I started singing to her every day since she was one week old."

"Samoan lyrics are beautiful, "Ia alofa le Atua, ma tausi ia te 'oe…" which translates to "may God take loving care of you," the actor told followers.

Finishing the post, which clocked up a staggering 4.9 million views, Dwayne joked: "I must now go do something very manly and bad ass to counterbalance this post."

Acknowledging Dwayne's parting words, one of the star's followers wrote: "Aww our children makes even the manliest toughest guys into mush. Fatherhood, the best ride of our lives."

Excuse us while we watch this over and over.

The Saturdays singer Rochelle Humes took to Twitter with an emergency yesterday asking her followers for help.

“Parents – help!!”

Rochelle was looking for advice after her three-year-old daughter’s pet fish died overnight. She went on to ask her fans for their thoughts on the best course of action.

“Alaia’s goldfish has just passed. Do I tell her in the morning the truth (in a nice way) or is the fish on holiday?”

Quick to offer their words of wisdom, Rochelle needed help in deciding when a child is too young to learn about death.

“She’s only three, confused when is too young?!”

But it seems like honesty was the best policy for most as Rochelle retweeted many messages advising to tell her little girl the truth.

Rochelle later revealed that she and husband Martin decided to tell Alaia what had happened.

“We’ve gone for honesty. Thanks guys.

“Sometimes it’s hard to know the right thing to do when you just want to protest your little one.”

Getting our Leaving Cert results is not something many of us forget in a hurry.

Nerves coupled with excitement mixed with a good ol' dose of the fear is probably the best way to describe the moment we tore into that envelope.

And while some of us maintained a calm exterior while falling to pieces on the inside, others were a little more vocal in their excitement.

Take Emma Kirrane from Tuam in Co. Galway, for example.

After learning that she had clocked up a very impressive 490 points, the aspiring primary school teacher, who nabbed an A2 in Irish, decided not to hold back.

And it was all caught on camera by her sister Lisa who, unsurprisingly, decided to share the adorable moment online.

*You might want to lower the volume for this one, ladies*

Anyone who lived away from home during college will remember the pang of longing you'd often get for a homecooked meal, ironed clothes or the love of a the family pet.

Yes, we missed our family, but a desire for our favourite food and furry friends generally came top of the list when living in student accommodation got too much for us.

And it looks like one mam knows all too well what a prolonged period of time away from our pooches can do to us.

Taking matters into her own hands in the run-up to her son's big college adventure, Sharia from the States decided to make a cardboard cut-out of the family's Golden Retriever, and Twitter is understandably all over it.

Sharing a snap of Jesse and his cardboard version, Jake Ostrowski tweeted: "My mom got me a cardboard cutout of my dog to take with me to college."

Speaking to BuzzFeed about his mam's adorable endeavour, Jake explained: "I love my dog — he sleeps with me every night. I’ve been really sad because I’ve got to leave him to go to college."

"It can be kind of scary going off to college," Jake admitted. "But now I’ve got my dog in my dorm with me.”

Ladies, we're dying.

There are people who, following a well-intentioned trip back to the parents’ homestead, leave feeling drained, mildly irritated, with an acute awareness of their family’s numerous shortcomings.

And then there are liars.

Because even those who step back over the threshold of their childhood home with the best of intentions (and a desire to talk to people who don't take photos of their dinner) ultimately find themselves questioning how they ever lived with these humans for a prolonged period of time.

A trip home is like viewing adulthood through the eyes of a child.

It looks great, it sounds great… and then you get there.

And it’s more stressful, more exhausting and has a lot less ice cream than you were promised.

Returning to the family home for a weekend feels like a balancing act – one where you’re on fire, the tightrope is on fire, and the person holding the extinguisher won’t help because ‘aren’t you doing a grand job looking after yourself’.

Chores you were tasked with as a teen are now apparently beyond your capabilities because things have changed since you flew the nest.

“Don’t give him the purple dish, for Jaysus sake. That cat won’t eat out of the purple dish,” you'll be told as you watch the cat eat happily out the purple dish – zero f*cks given.

And tasks which you’d gladly forego for two days – because you spend half your life doing them now – are heaped upon you at every available opportunity.

“Help your dad with the washing, good woman. He won’t use the dishwasher because it made an extra beep last February and he thinks we’ll be burned in our beds.”

Moving out of the family home also gives your parents the distinct impression that your general interests have drastically changed.

You’ll follow your mother around the garden as she points out every item she’s painted since you last visited and you’ll shadow your father as he guides you through the latest additions to his stash of old-fashioned stationary, and this is because they genuinely think it’s now your thing.

Oh, you were a self-obsessed gobshite when you lived there – cared about nothing but yourself, the WiFi router and the contents of the freezer – but now you’re different.

Now, apparently, you want to talk dado rails, dustbusters, funerals and the fact the neighbour’s house looks the absolute biz with those hanging baskets.

And this is because when your parents try to do it with each other, they may as well be shouting into the abyss.

Whether you tuned their conversations out when you actually lived with them (that’ll be the self-obsessed part) or this bizarre conversational quirk is an entirely new development, a trip home will act as a reminder that most couples – after a certain age – possess the ability to conduct two separate conversations… at the same time.

Refereeing a conversation between your parents the morning after your mother plied you with red wine – something which she refused to do years previously –  is as welcome a notion as a baby at a Donald Trump rally, and yet it's your principle role on your return home.

Oh, you know it’s only couple of days, you know you’re being a bit of a d*ck, but you can’t help yourself.

Progress outside the family home; regress inside the family home.

At best, you berate yourself for your lack of patience and, at worst, you actually begin to care about dado rails.

So you take a deep breath, mentally wipe the slate clean, show some interest in the new curtains, and then give up… until next time, that is.

Janice Dickinson was diagnosed with cancer at the start of this year, and while she has been vocal since her diagnosis she has admitted that telling her family was seriously tough.

Indeed, speaking to Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford on ITV's This Morning today, the 61-year-old candidly spoke about how she was point-blank AFRAID to tell her children – Savannah Dickinson, 22, and Nathan Fields, 29.

"In the beginning I was in a state of numbness… I was truly – not denial or pity – but I just walked around feeling kind of numb because I was afraid for my children,” she said via a live link from LA.

"I was afraid how my two grown children would take the news and they were very upset. And then I went through a period where I thought I wasn’t going to be attractive to my fiancé.”

Janice was diagnosed with cancer back in March after doctors found a lump in her breast; she is now encouraging others to check themselves regularly.

"It's for this reason that I appear in front of you today to share my experience. I implore all women to go get their breast examined and do it themselves.”

The former Celebrity Big Brother contestant went through six weeks of radiation, but found that by talking to people during her treatment she was able to stay herself.

“I found Janice again by really talking to people [during treatments] and asking about their day… I’d make them healthy biscuits… trying to be of service to people that have far worse afflictions.

"That’s how I found my light at the tunnel and I just want to keep going. It’s not the end, I’m not out the door yet.”

If you think your house is chaotic just stop and think for moment what it must be like to be part of a family of 21 – because for Britain's biggest family that situation is now a reality.

Noel and Sue Radford from Lancashire welcomed their nineteenth child to the world over the weekend as 41-year-old Sue gave birth to a little girl named Phoebe Willow.

The Radfords found fame on Channel 4's 16 Kids and Counting back in 2013 and have since gone on to expand their impressive brood with three new additions.  But even since Phoebe's arrival, Sue has confessed they could be tempted to have one more.

The busy mum told The Sun: “Our friends and family keep saying I should have one more child to get an even number, rounding the family off at 20.”

“I can’t rule it out. At the moment I am happy to have Phoebe with us. She is healthy and a little stunner.”

And while you might think the couple’s time would be totally tied up with managing their expansive brood, Noel and Sue also run a successful family-owned bakery and pie business.

According to the Daily Mail, the couple pride themselves of not receiving any benefits from the state and going on annual trips abroad with the whole family.

As well as baby Phoebe, Noel and Sue are also parents to Chris, 27; Sophie, 22; Chloe, 21; Jack, 19; Daniel, 17; Luke, 15; Millie, 14; Katie, 13; James, 12; Ellie, 11; Aimee, 10; Josh, nine; Max, seven; Tillie, six; Oscar, four; Casper, three; and Hallie, aged 13 months.

Congrats!
