An independent clothing designer has accused Khloé Kardashian of copying her work.

Last Friday, Khloé tweeted a video, featuring a number of well known faces supporting some of the stars Good American looks.

However, one Twitter user was less than pleased with what she saw. In response to the video, Destiney Bleu, the brains behind dbleudazzled, a brand that specialises in custom crystallised lingerie and swimwear, had this to say:

Destiney argues that some of the designs seen in the video bare a striking resemblance to the pieces seen on her Instagram account.

And we have to admit, she's got a point.

Destiney revealed that Khloé had purchased clothing from her in December of last year, but thought she was planning to wear it to the NBA finals.

Although some fans were determined to defend the Kardashian sister, Destiney received an overwhelming about of support following her claim.

Destiney expressed her feelings about the situation in a series of tweets:

"I had stylists friends working on the Good American set and they told me they were shook when they saw her black x nude @dbleudazzled copies," she wrote.

"Dazzle is my livelihood. I pay 3 rents, 5 employees & handmake everything. I did it w/no investment or guidance, I'll always fight for this."

She continued, "I have an epic resume and have outstanding relationships with my clients. Im not sitting back and letting this snake shit slide…I know its prolly unprofessional of me to spill the tea but I've had it with these non creative millionaires stealing from indie designers."

Speaking to Cosmopolitan, a representative from Good America has this to say:

"Under no circumstances did Good American or Khloe Kardashian infringe on another brand’s intellectual property… We are going through the proper legal channels to handle the situation."

You need only take a passing glance at the blogging scene in Ireland to know that it's positively teeming with individuals who routinely charm, entertain and inspire their followers.

From lifestyle and beauty to fashion and fitness, we have a community of truly devoted bloggers, and with an equally devoted following it's no surprise that focus often falls on each blogger's sense of style and feel for fashion.

Considering this, we thought it apt to pay tribute to influencers who inspire with each and every costume change, and at last week's inaugural SHEmazing HP Awards, that accolade went to the wonderful Rosie Connolly.

One of Ireland's leading bloggers, Rosie has amassed a loyal following by sharing her thoughts, tips and tricks on a variety of subjects.

With seven years in the cosmetic industry, the effortlessly chic Rosie now focuses her time on content creation and media contribution, and there's no doubt that her impeccable style contributes to her popularity nationwide.

Commenting on her approach to style, she revealed: "I don't really follow celebrities or catwalks – I like to take influence from things that are around me."

And while she may boast an incredible 137,000 followers, Rosie remains incredibly humble over her big win.

"Thank you so much for everyone who voted Most Stylish Influencer! And thanks again to the SHEmazing team for an INCREDIBLE night."

Congratulations, Rosie!

Every city has a handful of unique destinations which appeal to die-hard fashionistas who know that bang for your buck is still possible even at designer label level.

And Dublin’s comes in the shape of Designer Exchange on Dawson Street.

Having opened its doors in 2012, the store, which is a veritable haven for handbag-lovers, has a philosophy which encourages the consumer to look at their designer purchase from a different perspective.

Instead of committing themselves to a lifelong investment in Chanel, Birkin or Vuitton, customers can – if they choose – trade their purchase back at a later date.

So, let’s say you buy a bag for €1,000 that probably cost €1,800 brand new. If you decide after a year that you want to trade it back to Designer Exchange , they then give you, for example, €600 for it.

You use the €600 against your next purchase, therefore your first purchase only cost you €400 for a full year of use.

And yes ladies, that boils down to €33 per month or €8 a week!

Speaking our language, owner, Paddy Coughlan, says: “A bag is for everyone, but 10 inch stilettos aren’t. A bag or accessory no longer just completes a look, a look can be built around it.”

“I’ve heard ladies say that they like to wear a colour, but they love to wear a particular bag.”

“I love the joy I see when we make it possible for a lady to get her dream bag, something she may have thought unattainable until she could take part in our instalment plan and/or part exchange.”

Interestingly, over 60 per cent of Designer Exchanges sales come via posts on Facebook, with many items snapped up within minutes of them hitting the store’s social media platforms.

And we may be responsible for more than a few…

As part of a collaboration known as The Textile Project, students from the National College of Art and Design have seen their creations hit the shelves of Ireland's most luxurious department store this week.

Tasked with creating beautiful, colourful and printed fabrics, twenty students from the college rose to the challenge, with two of the patterns ultimately used to create a limited edition silk scarf and candle wrap.

The scarf has been produced in Ireland by CREATE alumni Sara O’Neill while the exclusive wrap decorates a White Pomegranate scented candle which has been produced by Max Benjamin in Enniskerry.

Inspired by everything from the distillers press in the NCAD to the changing profile of the Dublin skyline, the students also saw their prints adorn the iconic Brown Thomas shopping bag.

Truly impressed by the students' creations, John Redmond, the Creative Director of the Brown Thomas said: "The brief was to work with the 2nd year students to embrace colour, pattern and textures in their design and we feel the work that the students have delivered has far exceeded all our expectations."

"What’s really exciting about this, collaboration is that we have developed two products that will be sold instore – a limited edition candle and silk scarf using these beautiful vibrant prints!”

"This project provides an opportunity to showcase the creativity, innovation and skills that NCAD students acquire and develop during their studies," added Angela Kelly, Head of Design for Body and Environment at NCAD.

The products are on sale until stock lasts and the exhibition runs until June 14, so if you want to support Ireland's next generation of designers, you know what to do!

OK, so we all know Dunnes has been a firm favourite with Irish families for decades now.

But its reputation among fashionistas went stratospheric last year when Amy Huberman stepped out in a plunge-necked white jumpsuit at a pre-Oscars party.

After the S16 offering from Lennon Courtney, which was stocked exclusively at Dunnes Stores, made international headlines, style-savvy women flocked to the homegrown Irish store for a touch of red carpet glamour, and the retailer hasn’t stopped knocking it out of the park ever since.

Preparing to embrace summer ’17, Savida have created a range of stunning looks which prove, yet again, you don’t have to be on an A-list salary to own beautifully-cut pieces which subtly tap into seasonal trends while retaining their own unique edge.

And here are just three reasons, aside from the affordability factor, we are all over the latest range.

1. Colour

We’re talking neon brights and classic Breton-inspired colour, ladies.

2. Detail

Oh, so feminine! Think tulle and feathers, ladies.

3. Versatility

Their nod to features like dramatic sleeves adds a day-to-night touch to this label’s signature romantic flair.

Take a look at just some of what Savida has to offer this summer…
