She may be best known for her beachy, balayage infused hairstyle, but that doesn’t mean Gigi Hadid can’t work a multitude of looks.

Appearing at a CFDA event last night, the Californian model debuted a new full fringe ‘do and already the style has earned itself the title of “hairspo” among the star’s followers.

Since the fringe was paired with volumized hair and a strong bun-based up-do, we’re interested to see how Gigi’s bangs will look when the rest of her hair is down.

Flip flops and gladiator sandals are all well and good, but come Autumn/Winter there’s nothing quite like a new pair of boots.

And while we are loving this year’s backless loafer trend, with plenty of rain guaranteed for the coming months, we think a decent pair of boots would fare the Irish fashionista that bit better.

On that note, here are three of our favourite boot trends for Autumn/Winter.

The Sock Boot: Sock boots are everywhere this season and with every colour, texture and heel height to choose from, there’s bound to be a pair to suit all tastes.

The Trophy Boot: Why not let your feet do the talking with a pair of on point trophy boots?  From soft floral embroidery to stand-out animal prints, the trophy boot is one of A/W16’s best trends.

The Over-The-Knee Boot: This style was everywhere last winter and with The Guardian dubbing it the “footwear [trend] of the decade” we don’t think it’s going anywhere fast.  Whether worn with a short suede skirt or over a pair of jeans, the over-the-knee boot will have you Autumn/Winter ready.

Picking up a fabulous – and affordable – present for the small one in your life isn't always easy.

But we were pretty bowled over by the cuteness of these pinafores from Penneys.

A steal at just €14, they come in four colours perfect for autumn: denim, green, black, and burgundy.

We're sold!

Kate Middleton and her family are currently in Canada for their royal tour of the country – and the princess has been stunning her fans with her clothing choices.

She stepped out yesterday in a red and white patterned gown, but her latest fashion choice has blown us away.

The Duchess of Cambridge stepped out for an historic reconciliation ceremony with Prince William and wore a fabulous Preen silk dress.

Kate turned heads in the Thornton Bregazzi dress, which cost £833 (€963) and accessorised it with the royal family's diamond maple leaf brooch, which was given to the late Oueen by her husband King George VI to mark the state visit to Canada in 1939.

The mum-of-two wore the structured dress with red suede point heels, diamond drop earrings and a red box clutch.

We have to say, we'd love to have Kate's wardrobe!

While products are often released with the claim that ‘one size fits all’, it remains almost impossible to find a piece of clothing which both fits and suits all women.

But with social and marketing movements becoming increasingly focused on the issue of body diversity, it was only a matter of time until someone tried to design an outfit which any woman could wear.

As part of a joint initiative between online retailer JustFab and televised design competition Project Runway, the popular reality show’s contestants were tasked with creating an everyday outfit for women of all shapes, sizes and ages.

The winner of the challenge was 41-year-old Laurence Basse, who designed a cotton khaki-coloured boyish jumpsuit.

Speaking of the piece, the French native told InStyle: “I personally love a jumpsuit, and it's hard to find a good, fitted, sexy jumpsuit.”

“If you have boobs, or if you have a little booty, this jumpsuit makes it easy to hide areas you want hidden – it's versatile and flattering…I came up with something that any woman would feel sexy and confident in without being over the top.”

While Laurence’s design is pretty cool, we’re not sure the utilitarian nature of the jumpsuit is something everyone would be into.

New York Fashion Week may be over, but the outrageous trends just keep on coming.

Our favourite former boy-bander, Zayn Malik, stepped out in NYC this morning with the weirdest accessory ever.

As the heartthrob exited a car, he was holding a bowling pin… yes you read that right!

We have SO many questions for the Pillow Talk singer.

Is that the latest man-bag? Is it an iPhone 7 case for famous people?

ARE YOU GOING BOWLING?

This is one of life's great unanswered questions…

Late last week Blurred Lines star Emily Ratajkowski set tongues wagging when she wore an extremely plunging Julien Macdonald gown to a New York Fashion Week event.

And while we thought the actress pulled off the eye-catching LBD like only she could, critics like Fashion Police’s Tim Gunn weren’t quite as impressed with the navel skimming ensemble.

According to Us Weekly, the 63-year-old fashion consultant was quick to brand Emily’s outfit as “appallingly vulgar and revealing” during a televised discussion of the gown.

While claiming he wasn’t shocked by the dress because he “lived through the 1960s”, the Project Runway co-host did go as far as to suggest the dress would be enough to turn him off his food.

Clearly unimpressed with Tim’s comments, Emily has taken to Twitter to defend her outfit of choice.

In a series of tweets – which begin with a reference to a recent article she wrote in defence of female sexuality – the avid feminist said: “When I wrote my Glamour article, I was just thinking of men who call women attention seeking for being sexy.”

“I wasn’t thinking of the hosts of nationally televised shows who call women vulgar because they can see their stomachs.”

The outspoken star continued by highlighting the way in which male voices try to dictate how women dress.

“Western men in 2016: Want to ban women abroad from voluntarily covering themselves at the beach then want women to cover up their ‘vulgar’ bodies at home.”

She finished be asking: “Who controls women’s bodies in 2016?”

“It’s 2016.  Why keep trying to dictate what women can wear?”

You definitely know you're getting old when you begin truly noticing the cyclical nature of fashion.

While the teenyboppers among us may be fawning over the 'latest' trends on the high street, there are an embarrassing number of us who remember them the first time around.

From last season's 90s-inspired leather backpacks and bomber jackets to this season's noughties-inspired embellished belts, one-shouldered tops and pinstripes, there are some of us at SHEmazing! HQ who could easily save a few bob this Autumn / Winter by raiding our teenage closets.

With that in mind, we have put together some of the most cringe-worthy looks which signalled the beginning of the millennium and the end of our love affair with Britney's wardrobe.

1. Denim blazers

If there are two words which clash more, we've yet to hear them.

2. Velour tracksuits

Comfortable? Yes. Stylish? Yes… at the time, that is.

3. Boleros

No seriously, what the hell was the point?

4. Uber-baggy cargos

Extra points if your tum was toned as the Girls Aloud gals

5. Uneven hemlines

Less leg or more leg? We could never decide, and thankfully we didn't have to.

Ladies, dare we ask how long will it be before this classic Britney look makes a reappearance?

Ever since her appearance in Robin Thicke’s Blurred Lines video, it’s been well-established that Emily Ratajkowski is pretty much the epitome of body goals.

And while the 25-year-old model wouldn’t be known for covering up, her latest ensemble really did leave little to the imagination.

Appearing at the Harper’s Bazaar New York Fashion Week party in The Plaza Hotel last night, the Californian actress was pictured working one of the most plunging dresses we’ve ever seen.

The fitted black sequined midi highlighted Emily’s curvaceous frame, while sizable nude-coloured mesh panels offered the star some protection against the risk of total upper-body exposure.

While the Gone Girl star seems to have gotten through the night without any major wardrobe malfunctions, with this dress not everyone would be so lucky.

Tommy Hilfiger is one of those brands which seems to have been around forever.  But just because the label has long been embedded in fashion history, doesn't mean it's not still eager to explore new ground.

In a bold new move the American clothing giant has announced the launch of its first ever in-season fashion show which will be broadcast live across its website and various social media channels from New York City this Friday.

And – thanks to the use of a handy little thing called live streaming – everything in the collection will be available for purchase on tommy.com as soon as it hits the runway, making the Fall 2016 designs instantly accessible to those attending the event and those watching it from the comfort of their own homes.

You all know the boss man! @thomasjhilfiger, can't thank you enough for everything! xG #tommyxgigi

Model of the moment and Hilfiger favourite Gigi Hadid will be opening the show wearing a look from the TommyXGigi collection – a range which Gigi herself played a hand in designing.

And in keeping with Tommy’s vision to make fashion more experiential, #TOMMYNOW will run across two days with the fashion show taking place on Friday September 9 and a fairground-themed event being opened to the public the following day.

Given that the majority of New York Fashion Week’s shows are only accessible to those within the industry – and that the latest Hilfiger collection promises to be both instantly available and wearable – we think the #TOMMYNOW event will be well worth a watch.

When red carpet style is done right, it can set the whole tone for the evening.

Classy, relaxed and glamorous are all words we think of when it comes to red carpet style, however, the only words that are springing to our minds after last night's TV Choice Awards are ill-fitting, and dodgy.

Don't get us wrong, we think that everyone can wear what they want to, but if it was a stylist's job to make the stars look their absolute best, something went very wrong here:

Fearne Cotton

Ferne is totally breaking our hearts here. She's a celeb we look up to for rock'n'roll glamour, but this dress just looked a bit… off.

Between the baby pink top dress that just hangs, to the tight cerise dress underneath… It's a no from us.

Georgia Kousoulou

We're getting serious Cinderella-gone-wrong vibes from Georgia here. The royal blue dress is in a mass of wrinkles and cuts her in all the wrong places.

She has a gorgeous body, and we think this dress is totally hiding it. And big wedges? Really?!

Faye Brookes

The Coronation Street star left little to the imagination here. Now, don't get us wrong, it isn't the worst outfit, but between a thigh-high split, a plunging neckline and a bare midriff, it's too exposed for us.

We're feeling chilly just looking at her!

But, along with every bad outfit, there's a good outfit, and here's some we loved last night.

Stephanie Pratt

Stephanie kept it simple and classy with an embellished soft yellow dress. With just the right amount of sparkle, and not too much on show, we're loving her look.

And brownie points for her make-up, too. We adore the dewy look!

Katie Price

We know, we know. With her past dodgy outfits, Katie usually ends up on the other list, but we have to say, she happily surprised us last night.

Covering up what she usually shows off, Katie wore a backless white evening dress, and put her hair up in a gorgeous messy bun. Kudos, we like this look.

Ferne McCann

We love some sparkles here in SHEmazing! HQ, and Ferne's dress was FULL of them.

The former I'm A Celeb contestant wore strappy heels with her thigh-high split dress and kept her make-up and hair simple. We think she looks great!
