Leopard print is one of those trends that’s always lurking in the background waiting to return to fashion in some new on point way.

Unfortunately though the cheetah trend has a pretty intimidating reputation – one which leaves many women wary of introducing it to their wardrobes for fear of stepping out dressed as Kat Slater II.

Thankfully, there is one foolproof way of channelling this style and that’s by following one of New York’s most idolised fashionistas and adding just a hint of print to an otherwise simple outfit.

Style influencer Olivia Palermo recently showed the world how leopard print should be done when she was snapped wearing an open-neck white cotton poplin shirt from Zara which features a nicely sized leopard print pocket.

Olivia paired the shirt to daytime perfection with a light blue pair of distressed jeans, yellow pumps, a top handle bag and oversized sunnies, but that’s not to say this chic piece couldn’t easily be dressed up with black skinnies, a coloured lip and a pair of heels.

The best part?  This shirt is currently available both in Zara stores and online for just €29.95.

TOWIE’s Kate Wright might be dealing with some personal drama right now as reports continue to circulate that she’s rowing with her ex Dan Edgar, but that hasn’t stopped the star from putting in the effort when it comes to her summer style.

The reality TV personality was recently snapped wearing a fresh navy and orange combination that’s not only cute and colourful, but is also very much affordable as her whole outfit can be bought for just €42 on the popular clothing website Pretty Little Thing.

Kate’s bright orange cut-out top – which is a very similar colour to the PLT dress Kylie Jenner was recently spotted in – is currently on sale for just €14, having previously been €21.

While her wide-legged navy side-split trousers are also available on PLT for €28.

These high waisted pants also come in mink, black, nude, mauve, cream and stone colours so if you don’t fancy copying Kate’s look directly, you could always go for a similar style using different complimentary shades.

For €42 you're guaranteed to have plenty of options.

Nebraskan beauty Ashley Graham is so loved for her body positive image that she received major backlash earlier this summer when she was thought to be slimming her curvy frame.

But it seems the plus-size star is just the right shape for H&M’s upcoming Studio collection, as she has been named the new face of the brand’s high-end Autumn 2016 campaign.

Speaking of the news to BAZAAR.com, the first plus-size model to front Sports Illustrated said: “Growing up I didn't have curvy role models, mainly because I didn't see enough curvy women represented in major ads.  My hope is that young women who shop at H&M see me in the ads and are reminded that there is not one standard definition of beauty or one perfect size.”

The 28-year-old swimwear entrepreneur also detailed for the site how the modelling industry has changed since she was first discovered at the age of 12, but was sure to stress that while advances have been made, the new trend of diversity promotion cannot end here.

She said: “The industry was much different.  There wasn't social media helping to launch careers, and "plus size" models weren't considered supermodels.”

“Now we're seeing curvy women on runways, on magazine covers and in major advertising campaigns alongside "straight size" models.  We're seeing more inclusivity when it comes to size, and we have to continue featuring more and more diversity.”

Over the years Ashley has gained a vast and dedicated group of fans.  She currently has over two million followers on Instagram alone and has worked with everyone from Vogue and Levi to Glamour and MTV.

Despite her success, H&M’s latest Studio collection will be one of Ashley's first mainstream fashion campaigns.  The line will appear in-store and online on September 8.

If there’s one brand which inspires classic fashion like no other it’s Chanel, and during the iconic fashion house's Autumn/Winter ‘15 campaign there was one shoe that caught everyone’s attention.

On the day Karl Lagerfeld turned the Grand Palais into a giant Parisian café, each of his models walked down the runway wearing the same pair of nude and black sling back mid-height heels.

The simple shoes were the latest reincarnation of the brand’s legendary two-tone sling back shoe which – according to Chanel – give the impression of smaller feet and longer legs.

Thankfully for those of us whose budgets won’t quite stretch to high fashion, there is currently a wonderful highstreet dupe of this classic shoe available in Zara for just €25.95.

Besides the price point, the main obvious difference between the Zara and Chanel shoe is that the Zara version has a closed rather than sling back, but given that we are now in the season of Autumn/Winter we think the closed back could actually be preferable.

But if the shoe’s back is your favourite feature there’s no need to worry as Topshop have a similarly styled pair of flats for €68.

You're welcome!

There was a time when silky slips were confined to the bedroom, but thanks to some forward thinking fashionistas the simple slip dress is about to become this year’s fashion staple.

In recent months the slip dress seems to have been given a whole new lease of life as it’s been worn both over and under tees, with cowboy boots and leather jackets and even on the red carpet.

And this trend is only going to keep getting bigger and better as the new Autumn/Winter stock finally arrives in stores.

Check out some of our favourite slipspiration below.

Natalie Roser:

With more than half a million followers on Instagram model Natalie Roser knows a thing or two about fashion, so it’s little wonder the Aussie beauty pulled off the perfect casual slip-centred look by matching this yellow dress with a denim jacket and nude flats.

Alexa Chung:

Alexa went for a slip with a difference when she paired this leather-look LBD with plain black boots.

Rumi Neely:

American fashion blogger Rumi Neely showed everyone how good a plain slip can look when she was photographed wearing this strappy red dress at New York Fashion Week.

Selena Gomez:

Last month Selena Gomez was spotted in New York wearing an eyecatching floor length red slip with a simple pair of strappy gold heels.

Rosie Huntington Whiteley:

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley stunned in this pale pink satin Galvan gown at the Opening Ceremony dinner back in January proving that slip dresses can be worked for casual and occasion wear.

Rihanna:

Never one to fear adventurous fashion, Rihanna wore this bronze slip out in November with a long fur coat, silver sandals and navy baseball cap.

Kendall Jenner:

Back in April reality TV star Kendall Jenner wore a champagne coloured slip over a white tee on a night out with her model bestie Gigi Hadid.  Kendall accessorised her slip with a chunky silver choker and nude thigh-high boots.

Hanne Gaby Odiele:

Belgian model Hanne Gaby Odiele proved that there’s a slip to suit everyone when she married her DJ boyfriend in boho style over the weekend.  Henne’s bridesmaids wore lilac slip dresses of various lengths and styles on the big day.

Gigi Hadid is the QUEEN of rocking the sportswear trend and making it look really, really slick.

Whether she's going shopping, out on a date or to the actual gym, the model has athleisure wear down.

So that's why we were delighted to find out that we can steal Gigi's style for under fifty quid.

Spotted casually strolling through New York during the week, the Victoria's Secret Angel wore a high shine pair of Reebok leggings that come in at €49.95 – and hurrah! They ship to Ireland.

I can see myself trying to copy this look… If only windswept hair and killer abs were included…

Today’s women are probably most familiar with the itty bitty bikini type of swimwear which can now be spotted on any beach around the world.  But can you imagine what people wore for a dip back in 1916?

Well, a new video demonstrates every decade of swimming style from 1916 right up until today but rather than using a wardrobe of vintage suits to showcase the changes, the innovative people at Mode decided to use body paint instead.

According to Elle, each swimsuit took between 60 and 90 minutes to apply but thankfully those ten plus hours of labour have been handily reduced into a great little three minute clip.

Hailey Baldwin might only be 19 years old but the teen model has already forged an impressive career for herself.  Having previously modelled for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger and Moschino, Hailey has now decided to give design a go.

The American beauty has launched her first ever accessory collection with luxury Australian brand The Daily Edited and, in keeping with her own admirable sense of style, the nine-piece range is filled with neutral tones and practical designs.

The capsule collection includes two backpacks, three different clutches, a bucket bag, a perforated passport cover, a burgandy cosmetics case and a long black tote.

According to The Daily Mail, Hailey was involved at every stage of the design process and not only did she have a major say over the colours and textures which were included, she was insistent that each piece had to be highly functional.

The teen star told the paper she's excited about the collection as it's something she has always wanted to do, before going on to explain how fame has drastically changed her life.

She said: "My life definitely isn't as simple as it used to be – the attention on me personally is a lot more."

"Things are a lot less simple, I used to live at home with my parents and wake up and go to school and then go to dance class and dance ballet seven days a week…Now I have to be very responsible, I have a job, I have to travel and I have to take care of myself."

Hailey landed her first commercial campaign with French Connection when she was 18-years-old and has since gone on to model for big names like Topshop and Ralph Lauren.  The daughter of actor Stephen Baldwin has also appeared in Vogue and Teen Vogue.

When it comes to music festivals, our Stateside pals definitely have us beat on weather, but there's no denying we're nose to nose in the style stakes.

With festival attire rapidly taking over a large portion of our wardrobes, the vast majority of us have graduated from the 'binliner and fisherman's hat' approach, and have instead taken inspiration from a number of different trends in order to create our very own festival chic.

When it comes to the numerous musical events which have and continue to punctuate our summer, we have the look absolutely nailed.

Case in point: Longitude 2016.

Giving the Coachella contingent a serious run for their money in the grunge stakes, our Longitude ladies went for more than a passing nod to the 90s, and did it like absolute pros.

Two-tone denim and cons FTW.

There's no doubt white crop tops or for the more daring among us – white bralets –  are BIG this festival season, and we're all over the boho-inspired Broderie anglaise version which we're definitely getting our hands on for Electric Picnic.

Think how little space they'd take up in a rucksack! Packing hack 101 right there.

With dungarees making a huge comeback this year, festival-goers have been going for them in a big way, and we're hella impressed.

New Look and Topshop are great for overalls right now, so if you can't see yourself wearing a pair outside of a fest, at least you won't have broken the bank!

Everyone knows that accessories can make or break an outfit, so we're all over the sleek and chick bumbag look currently gaining momentum at Irish festivals this summer.

Most of us are opting for minimal because – well, it IS a bumbag at the end of the day – and yet there's such an abundance on the high street right now, it's unlikely you'll bump into someone rocking the same one.

Longitude ladies, you have it nailed.

If you’ve ever found yourself racing through the airport in your jammies as your stun bun slowly drifts off the back of your head, you’ll understand Vicky Pattison’s latest tweet.

In a world where celebrities are constantly pictured in full glamour mode as they strut through every terminal from here to Timbuktu, the Newcastle native has taken to Twitter with a good ole dose of reality.

Sharing a split screen picture of a dolled-up Ferne McCann and her hoody-wearing self, Vicky tweeted: “There are two types of girls in the world…Look how glamourous @fernemccann is compared to me man!”

The attached image shows both stars making their way through the airport and while Ferne looks picture perfect in a satin bomber, black mini-dress and choker, her Geordie Shore mate looks a bit more hoody-hun than star stunner as she crouches behind her two giant suitcases.

It’s great to see Vicky in such good form after her emotional appearance on Loose Women yesterday afternoon.

Let's be fair, even if they annoy you and a shiver runs down your spine when the Kardashian name is mentioned, the girls have style.

Yes, they might have the odd fashion blunder every now and then (who doesn't?) but most of the time, they look slick AF.

So when Kylie wore a Pretty Little Thing dress to the brand's recent launch party in LA, we couldn't help but look it up – and we were pleasantly surprised.

We thought it might have been one of the pricier ones, or a limited edition that nobody else could get their hands on, but nope, it's sitting on the website in all its glory for under 30 quid.

Coming in at €28, the wrap dress also comes in black, dusty blue and pink and will be a dream to style if you're heading anywhere fancy.

Do it like Kylie and team the dress up with a nude pair of heels and a gold choker for that sophisticated and sexy look.

But if you're not into all that, why not take a total U-turn and add a slick pair of black boots and leather jacket to the get-up?

Or if you're heading away on your holliers, go the complete opposite and dress it down with a pair of flat sandals and a floral kimono. Perfect beachy/summer vibes.
