Megafamous A-listers seemingly don’t just do standard walk-in wardrobes – they have entire closets dedicated to specific clothing.

Take Khloe Kardashian, for example: she has wardrobe space solely for her gym gear, fitness accessories, and workout attire.

Though maybe that’s hardly surprising.

After all, the reality TV star is regularly photographed heading to and from her private workout sessions with trainer Gunnar Peterson – and is rarely spotted in the same exercise item twice (that and she uses a Chanel leather backpack to drag around her gear).

She's also just starred in a workout-inspired shoot for Complex, and often posts images of her fitness routine to her Instagram account.

Now, in the most recent edition of Self magazine, Khloe gives her fans a tour of the 14sq metre space that houses runners, sports bras, workout clothing in every imaginable hue, sweatbands, fitness equipment and even a mini fridge stocked with Fiji water.

The area was custom created by LA Closet Design based on the 31-year-old’s daily needs.

“Khloé loves the glass display for her accessories,” said CEO Lisa Adams. “It’s a suede-lined shelf that displays head and wrist bands, sunglasses, hair ties and more.

“I added LED lighting so the case lights up with the flip of a switch — these items get lost and disorganized in drawers, so I wanted to make sure they were beautifully displayed.”

Lisa added: “My favorite part is the shoe area. I keep envisioning my own sneakers being displayed in the way Khloé’s are!”

Ms Kardashian, who has shed a significant amount of weight over the last year and who said she was drawn to the gym when her marriage to ex husband Lamar Odom went sour, also raved about the closet to Self.

“I’m in love with my fitness closet,” she beamed. “I genuinely show it off to all of my friends when they are over.”

Below are all the snaps of her amazing closet space: be prepared for major life envy…

Apparently, it doesn’t matter if you are the fittest woman on earth of not, there’s still one little troubled spot on our bodies that gets on our nerves no matter how many kettlebells you’re throwing in the air.

You that awkward spot close to the armpit area that you never ever notice until it’s finally time to pull out the strapless dress and embrace the summer tank top season.

Well, lucky for us, Cosmopolitan caught up fitness instructor Elizabeth Bracero who picked some of the best, and easiest workout moves to tone up your chest and shoulders.

All you have to do is try to work up to four sets of 12 repetitions of each exercise. If you want to see results Elizabeth notes that you should try and complete the routine several times a week in addition to any other exercises you might be doing.

Give these exercises a try and finally get rid of that armpit awkwardness for yourself!

Push ups: or you can do push-ups on your kness as you build up strength to do complete push ups.

Chest flys: start with the weights above your chest and lower your arms down and to the sides, slightly bending your elbows.

Overhead pull overs: hold the weights over your chest with arms straight before lowering them towards the floor above your head

Bar front raises: keep your arms as straight as possible while lifting the bar up to shoulder height and then slowly back down.

Before you go out and spend all of the money you don’t have on fancy sportswear you may not wear after next week, stop.

We just found the most budget friendly wardrobe hack there is. You just need one pair of underwear. Sounds simple?

More like bizarre, because there’s one catch, men’s underwear is what you actually need.

We had heard of up-cycling before but this is next level DIY. There’s no denying that new ways of saving money and staying stylish are always welcome but this is a bit out there.

We’re trying to imagine sporting dodgy pre-loved briefs in a Zumba class. We're not exactly getting a Victoria's Secret Sport type of vibe…

You can actually turn them into a piece of clothing that’s functional and, dare we say it, kind of, sort-of, not that bad looking? One definitive positive to this unique style trend, you don’t have to sew one single stitch.

All you need is a pair of scissors and you have all the makings of a sports bra that’s perfect for low-impact activity. So more of a yoga type outfit than say, triathlon training.

One more thing, you will need to pick a pair that have a good sturdy waistband. That kind of goes without saying though, doesn’t it?

Also, wearing them over your t-shirt is completely optional, but if that’s what you want we’re not judging.

Let's face it – her transformation has been pretty dramatic – not to mention hugely impressive.

After years of being taunted as the "fat, ugly Kardashian sister," Khloe is definitely in the best shape of her life.

She's shed a load of weight for one, but she also looks incredibly fit, toned and healthy.

And while the 31-year-old has previously opened up about her new-found love of exercise in the aftermath of the collapse of her marriage to Lamar Odom, she's now revealed her one, key diet secret.

Speaking to Sydney radio hosts Ryan Fitzgerald and Michael Wipfli on their breakfast show this morning, the reality TV star explained: "I made major cut-backs. I used to love soda, so I've cut out soda completely and I drink like ice tea or water."

She added: "I made that like a lifestyle change. If you do one thing a month and you cut something off little by little and then it just becomes a part of your life."

Khloe, who now seems to be dating another basketball pro – James Harden – also stated to say that she hates the word "diet".

"I don't believe in diets. I believe in lifestyle changes."

As for her fitspiration, she says she strives to be just like Beyonce, although when it comes to hair and makeup, she's surprisingly low-key.

In fact, Ms Kardashian says while she and her sisters have "hair and makeup people when we are filming," she definitely doesn't have a beauty team with her every day.

"I'm a pro at doing my own makeup but I do not know how to do my own hair," she said, explaining that her hair is too curly to manage on her own.

Still (and despite the fact she goes to the gym all the time), she makes one look last – wearing the same style for three days straight.

"I just won't wash my hair. I know how to fake it until I make it," she laughed.

It’s no secret that if you’re looking for serious workout motivation, social media is where you’ll find it.

Gone are the days of loud men with massive arms blowing whistles in our faces and spending hours glued to the treadmills in the hope of attaining that much coveted beach body. There are hundreds of apps, websites and audiobooks promising us that abs are just five minutes away.

Now every second person we know is suddenly an online trainer offering a nutrition and workout plan designed to help us become the fitness fanatic we’ve always dreamed of being.

Or maybe we just want to be able to walk up the stairs and not have our lungs feel like they’re on fire.

It can be hard to figure out who’s the real deal and who’s just trying to sell us fancy detox teas. Luckily there’s a new wave of fitness gurus who are readily available to cure all of your gym phobias; all you have to do is follow them on Instagram.

@elliegoulding

Chances are if you’re a regular gym goer, you’ve heard Ellie’s music blasting in the speakers. But did you know she’s also intensely passionate about her fitness? Her Instagram is full of workout videos, with bonus recipes with some super tasty superfoods. She’s also become the face of a new Nike campaign, so you know she’s serious about this stuff!

@shauna_harrison

She never misses a workout. Ever. She posts daily videos with detailed instructions so you’re never going to miss a step. The Under Armour sponsored athlete is also refreshingly honest in her posts, making note of the fact that some days you just want to nap all day long. She uses the hashtag #SweatADay so you have easy access to all her videos.

If you haven’t heard of this super-fit Aussie, you need to start following her now. She’s just recently completed the first leg of her world tour, where she took her hugely successful boot camps to Amsterdam, London and New York and invited all her followers to workout with her. Her London bootcamp sold out in a half an hour, so you know she’s kind of a big deal. Her abs are world famous, and she’s known for giving her followers regular shout outs to keep the motivation up. Oh, and she’s only 23!

And a little closer to home:

@thefoodmedic

Not only is the uber-successful fitness blogger an author of her own nutrition guide, she’s also a medical student. Wow. Her Instagram is full of clean treat recipes, fast workout ideas and a glimpse into her incredibly stylist gym wardrobe. This multitasker extraordinaire gives us an insight into her busy life and definitely gives us a little motivation on a lazy Wednesday evening.

Posting videos of her own sessions and those she shares with her clients at gyms around the country, Sophie is giving us some major ab inspiration and is definite proof that we should not be afraid to start lifting some weights.

New York City was looking pretty appealing not too long ago when the outrageously attractive police officer came to our attention. Now, the good male citizens of the Big Apple are at it again.

This time it’s (possibly) even better.

Last Sunday, Mark Rubin, who was formerly an American football player and is now a Wall Street Trader, was busy ripping his top off and defending his title of Wall Street’s Best Athlete. For the fourth year in a row.

Impec-ive. Sorry, we meant impressive.

The 29-year old came in first place (hurrah!) in the Wall Street Decathlon and set records with his grand total of 7,683 points. That’s a lot of points for one muscled man apparently.

During the four-hour competition the contestants were pushed to the extreme, tasked with everything from pull-ups, bench presses, a football throw, a 500 metre row, vertical jumps and various running events.

Despite the gruelling challenge, Mark looked pretty fantastic breezing through the obstacles. Nobody looks that attractive when their lungs should be on fire.

In case you thought Wall Street was just shamelessly showing off the eye-candy, we should remind you it was not just about flaunting the god-like body of Mr Rubin.

The decathlon takes place every year and raises money for paediatric cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Centre.

The gorgeous and obviously athletic Mark raised just over €13,000 this year.

We’re already booking flights for next year’s event, because we just can’t believe this man actually exists.

Just look at him!

All day long on social media we are bombarded with frustratingly gorgeous fitspiration posts.

With picture after picture of perfect people with perfect six-packs – we're regularly led to believe that by "following these 27 easy steps" we too can be of a similar physique.

And key to this trend is the requisite before and after pictures.

However, now one fitness professional has written a blog post on how these pictures can be extremely deceiving and why we shouldn’t always believe exactly what we see.

Sophie Kay, a qualified personal trainer from London, explained: “As a personal trainer and a fitness blogger I can see a lot of pressure in the industry to look and act a certain way which can be rather stressful and damaging for some people.”

She even posted a before and after picture that was taken just three minutes apart to demonstrate the tricks of the trade.

“All I did in the 3 minutes between the two photos was to turn off the overhead light, put on underwear that fit better, twist my body slightly to the side to show off my best angle, flex and, of course, add a filter. So don’t pay much attention to those ‘before and after’ shots!”

This isn’t the first time someone has shown us how these pictures can sometimes be false. Melanie from MelVFitness posted a similar picture last year.

In the image she posed in her bathroom with poor lighting and bad posture. She then changed her bikini bottoms, put on some tan, changed the lighting and put some make up on to show how these after pictures can all be enhanced to look a lot better.

Actress Kate Hudson has always been something of a fitness fanatic, and if these latest photos are anything to go by, she's upped her game of late.

The blonde beauty is currently enjoying a holiday on the island of Skiathos off Greece with her mum Goldie Hawn, and is taking every opportunity to show off her toned beach body.

The How To Lose A Guy in 10 Days star posted a picture to Instagram yesterday proving just how much her hard work in the gym has paid off. Posing on a low wall next to a swimming pool, Kate looked every inch the Greek goddess:

We've already printed it off and stuck it on the fridge…

If you were thinking that Kate's incredible-looking figure might be the work of some clever angles and Instagram filtering, you'd be wrong, as Kate was snapped by photographers in the exact same bikini just hours later while looking equally fabulous.

The actress headed to the beach with her mum and two friends, and while her two sons Bingham and Ryder are also on the trip they were nowhere to be seen. Maybe it's best – they probably wouldn't have been too keen to join in on this group photo:

Kate has spoken in the past about her love of exercise, saying she's happy even to get a short session in every day.

"I wouldn't say [I work out] a lot, just consistently," she told reporters at the Golden Globes this year, where she wowed in a skintight white Versace dress.

"People think for some reason you have to work out for two and a half hours… but, it can be little. It can be 20 minutes, it could be 40 minutes," she explained.

While her usual routine is a mile-long run three times a week, followed by a Pilates class, Kate says she has other options for when she's short on time. "I love skipping with a rope because it's one of the hardest cardio exercises you can do, but it's so easy. I do three sets of three minutes; I'm always shocked at how sweaty I get."

Sounds like a good system to us!

Coca Cola Thank You Fund Editorial HeaderIt’s that time of year again and we have to take off the overcoats and let it all hang out! If you didn’t get round to earning your summer body during those cold winter months, then here are some tips and pointers on how to get holiday fit using the simple and free amenities right on our doorstep, along with some food tips and holiday fitness top tips!

Firstly, we are going to look at your kit! Start off by having a good pair of runners, no, Converse will not do… you need something that has good support and that you will feel comfortable in when out and about. Then get yourself some nice colourful and fun sports gear. The fitness fashion world is so colourful and trendy at the moment, that there is no excuse for wearing those oversized baggy t-shirts that you have been wearing since college… time to be confident and look the part! Wear tight fitting clothes and you will feel stronger and leaner when out training. And lastly, get yourself some fun music with a good beat that will keep you going throughout your workout, leave the Adele tunes for the chill times, and get some funky Mark Ronson tunes that you can’t help but move to!Lorraine Ho-1

Ok now you’re kitted out and feeling the part at least. Now let’s look at our options. Check out your local park and see what they have to offer for free. A bench for example is like a gym in itself! You can do tricep dips, step up step downs, press ups, inverted press ups, stretching, all angle planks, sit ups and so much more! But be diligent and note down the exercises that you are able for, then do up a chart of each exercise, and the number of reps you’d like to do. Aim for 3 sets of 12 to start off with, and build on that as the weeks go on. Then look for a chunky tree and use it for squats, stretching, resistance band work (tie the band around a secure branch), e.g. chest press, lateral raises, bicep curls and lots more. Then use trees or goalposts as markers in the park to pace yourself on interval sprints. This will get your fitness levels soaring and really help you burn calories for the holiday! Set out a plan on stick to it. Maybe arrange to meet a friend there twice a week for a catch up and some exercise! When you arrive at the park, make yourself do a few laps of the space allowed, and starting with a slow warm up jog for about 5 minutes, and then gradually building it up to a faster pace for about 10 minutes. That will get your heart rate up and followed by some dynamic stretches, you will be all set for your workout!

For a change of scenery once a week, why not get yourself out to the seaside and with or without your wetsuit, jump in for a dip. Especially after a jog or a workout, this is the most invigorating thing you can do! But don’t just jump in and out again, actually do some distance. Set yourself a target, and swim out to it and back. Sea swimming is a lot tougher than swimming in a pool, but way more interesting! When the weather is nice, I often jump on the bike, and cycle to either Seapoint or the Forty foot for a dip and then back on the back again home, and it makes me feel so good.

When it comes to getting in shape for holidays, I do go into panic mode and while I do eat well and healthy … most of the time, I fall off the wagon when tempted by a good night out with the girls, or simply a weekend of entertaining or being entertained if I’m lucky. So when this happens to the best of us, here are some things that you can do that work for me and kick start my ‘get in shape’ regime, with 3-4 weeks to go.

My exercise regime:

  1. I’ll get up 2-3 mornings a week in time to go for a light jog, about 30-40mins. This totally shakes the cobwebs and gives my body a kick start for the day. If you can’t fit that in, then use the trip to work to get in some exercise.
  2. 2 other days a week I fit in a rigorous class of Bootcamp or something similar that will guarantee a full blow out session.
  3. Then 1 day at the weekend (sometimes 2), I’ll do a few hours of something leisurely, that I enjoy, and can include family or friends, and will get the heart rate up at the same time. Usually a cycle, mountain walk, or similar. If nothing else, it will keep you from thinking about food.
  4. Be sure to rest a day in between tough training sessions, to give your muscles a chance to recover – this is very important in any exercise programme… recovery, recovery, recovery!

Holiday Tips:

  1. Start as you mean to go on… go for a light jog/walk on your FIRST morning followed by a few simple exercises on the beach – you will feel fantastic and a little smug afterwards. This will set a nice habit for the remainder of your holiday that your body will thank you for.
  2. Bring your nicest training gear!
  3. Drink plenty of water during the day – the heat will cause you to sweat more and lose essential salts and water from your body.
  4. Avoid over-indulging on rich foods and alcohol every night – take the odd night off.
  5. Plan a few days of activities if possible. These days are a lot more memorable that sitting on a beach all day every day.
  6. Rent a bike and explore your surroundings
  7. Check out exercise classes in your resort and use the time to try something new!

Coca Cola Thank You Fund Editorial HeaderFacing into the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio, I’m upping my game when it comes to my own training. The rewards to be reaped from getting active are many, both physically and mentally.

Paddy Barnes Launches Coca Cola Thank You Fund-2I know people can be intimidated and apprehensive about exercising, just remember you’re not competing with anyone. Getting active is purely for you own benefit, and more importantly, enjoyment.

Check out some handy tips I’ve put together to kick start anyone on their journey to a fitter future:

  1. The first suggestion is very simple: walk to work. It’s the easiest way to squeeze activity into your routine and it will make you fresher and more awake when you get to your job. Other ways to easily incorporate activity include taking the stairs instead of the lift, walking instead of driving for any short journeys you have to make, and getting off the bus a stop early.
  2. See what facilities are out there in your local community and what your local leisure centre has to offer.
  3. Try something new – there are loads of sports out there and you probably haven’t tried them all. I gave hurling a go and had a great time. I was absolutely no good at it to begin with but had a blast and built up a new skill over time.
  4. Exercising to your favourite songs can help keep you motivated. Find that tune that gets you into a positive headspace and feel those calories burn.
  5. Sign up for a training programme. This year I’ve come on board as an ambassador for the Coca-Cola Thank You Fund which is awarding €125,000 to new initiatives enabling people to get more active, more often in local communities. Check out the projects the Coca-Cola Thank You Fund has supported on its website (coca-cola.ie/thankyou) or look at the wide range of other sports programmes that are out there to take part in. I’d advise choosing a project that has a milestone you can reach so you have a clear goal – something like a run or marathon is perfect.

Kim Kardashian, Sandra Bullock, and Jessica Alba all love to bootcamp.

And if we could get a body like theirs (even just a tiny, little bit like theirs) we might also acquire a love of bootcamping.

But then we hear that Millie Mackintosh forked out €4,500 for a week-long programme in Ibiza involving hiking, calorie-counting, and lifting weights (Laura Whitmore is a fan of the spot too) and then suddenly once again we’re not so keen.

Still, we may have found the perfect compromise: luxurious setting, and a killer workout, followed by a five-star detox spa treatment. Hurrah!

Yes the beach-body bootcamp at the Powerscourt Hotel in Enniskerry promises to leave you “looking and feeling fabulous”.

And considering all attempted New Year’s resolutions are by now a distant memory (we may as well be honest) we’re frankly willing to try anything to get our Victoria’s Secret-worthy bods in order.

The two-part Powerscourt programme is designed and tailored for each individual, meaning you can discuss and target any problem areas.

Taking place on the hotel’s lawns, first up is a gruelling hour-long workout using kettle bells, a TRX trainer, tyres, ropes, sandbags and bodyweight exercises.

Sure it sounds, ahem, challenging, but fear not it’s all followed by a wholly-more pleasant 1 hour 50 minute detoxifying body ritual at the hotel’s esteemed ESPA.

The treatment aims to detox the body and “restore balance”. It combines an initial body wrap and massage with a body exfoliation. Next a detoxifying algae is applied and the scalp is gently massaged.

Finally, and after a refreshing shower, an aromatherapy massage takes place.

Someone should really tell Millie Mackintosh.

Available for €155, the Beachbody Bootcamp is available at Powerscourt Hotel Resort & Spa
