Okay, I'll be the first to admit I don't really get football.

Like sure it's entertaining to watch people go wild when their team scores or watch the hilarious injuries (10/10 for dramatic deleivery), but it still doesn't hold a huge appeal.

However, I would DEFINITELY watch if this gal was the commentator. Meet  Alison Finlay, a student from London and our new hero.

Her boyfriend was delayed on his commute home, so instead of missing the FIFA World Cup game between England and Tunisia, he asked Alison to give him a play-by-play of the action.

“He had to work late and hoped he’d make it back (for the game) but didn't, so asked me to fill him in. I kindly obliged!” Alison told the Press Association

After England won the match 2-1, Alison uploaded her texts to the Internet, which went wild for her.

Our personal favourite is:

"A Tunisian man is on the floor [sic]. Looks like he got hit in the hair. The referee is uninterested. the man with the injured hair is not pleased."

She also takes the piss out of soccer player's hair, which at half an hour into the game she observes that "everyone's hair is holding up well."

Oh as for the injures? She's calling BS on them.

"This time and Englishman received a light tap and fell down violently." LOL.

Thanks to the popularity of her original tweet, she uploaded the rest of the conversation which was equally as hilarious.

Twitter is loving it, with many begging her to live tweet the rest of the World Cup.

Can she just narrate our lives please?

As temperatures soar across Ireland and the UK, many office workers have been tasked with finding outfits that are both office appropriate and suitable for the heat.

With highs of 34 degrees in London yesterday you can understand why one 20-year-old office worker opted for a pair of smart shorts over his normal shirt and slacks combination.

Taking to Twitter, Joey Barge asked his followers, "If women can wear skirts/dresses at work can I wear smart shorts like so?"

However, his attempt to be comfortable at work proved unsuccessful when he was sent home less than half an hour later for not following the company's strict dress code.

Joey said: "The office is so hot and I sweat so much and feel uncomfortable."

"I'm fuming. A quarter of the office are wearing vest tops and skirts/dresses…"

So, what did he do next?

Went home and put on one of his mother's dresses, of course.

We have to hand it to him , he really embraced the new look.

Joey predicted he would be sent home again, but much to his surprise, his stunt actually seemed to have work.

Or at least kind of.

Late on that day he returned to Twitter to post an office email that had been sent out, outlining the new dress code.

Not all heroes were capes – but a lot of them wear dresses.

Whether you're a dog-owner, or just a dog-lover, we can almost guarantee 70 per cent of your camera roll consists of cute puppy pics.

And why not? They're adorable and the world deserves to know.

Well, one girl has taken her doggie photography skills one step further and is secretly replacing her family photos with photos if their dog, Dixie.

Genius, we know.

(Side note: How much does the top right photo look like baby Kourtney Karashian?)

21-year-old Marissa Hooper originally started this as a way to drive her mam crazy, but of course, as soon the internet got wind of her epic prank, it turned into so much more.

After a few weeks, her mam finally noticed the subtle changes around her house and according to Marissa, “she wasn't amused.”

But, much to Marissa's surprise, the rest of the internet certainly was.

And as if that wasn't enough, little Dixie has now got her very own Instagram account so we can all keep up with her adventures.

There is nothing more awkward than making a fool of yourself in front of your idol, but imagine if you accidentally cause them a slight instance of bodily harm while you were at it?

One American journalist accidentally did just that, after she slapped Nicole Richie during an interview.

The facepalm (literally) moment happened to showbiz reporter Cat Greenleaf of Talk Stoop.

The pair started chatting about what good news had occurred that weekend and Cat offered Nicole a high five after hearing about the lack of rain in LA.

"I live in LA and I heard it's going to rain three times this week so that's pretty" replied Nicole, raising her palm for the high five.

Unfortunately, the presenter didn't make contact with the celeb's palm, but managed to whack the Simple Life star in the face, sending her sunglasses flying.

A post shared by Nicole Richie (@nicolerichie) on

Cat was visibly cringing after the clumsy move, telling Nicole: "I'm so sorry… I'm notoriously clumsy."

Luckily, the star saw the funny side, despite looking slightly shocked, saying: "I can see that, out of my left eye only."

We'd be cringing hard.

There is nothing we love more than pouring over our favourite influncer's Snapchat story on the commute home, and each Irish influencer definitely has their own style and tone.

Doireann Garrihy has become a Snapchat star in her own right, after her original video of influencer impressions went viral five months ago.

Now, the Spin 103.8 radio host has posted her second part of the influencer installation, and we're seriously hoping it will become a series.

This time around, Doireann has included Roz Purcell, So Sue Me and Pippa O'Connor in her impressions.

The comedic genius has amassed thousands of followers thanks to her hilarious videos dedicated to some of Ireland's top personalities, and her impressions are uncanny.

The comic imitated the blogger's voices and accents perfectly, as well as mimicking their mannerisms and gestures.

In case you missed her first video, here it is;

Doireann is also one of our amazing judges on our panel for the SHEmazing! Awards, a panel that is made up of some of the biggest and brightest stars from the media world, the food, fashion, beauty and fitness industries and, of course, the blogosphere.

With Coachella just around the corner, we've been reminiscing about the ways we used attempt to sneak alcohol around a festival, unbeknownst to the crew guarding the main arenas.

Unsurprisingly, we opted for simpler methods such as cans in our hoods or the infamous crouching tiger hidden naggin method, which were often discovered after a quick pat down.

Since then, there have been some pretty inventive drink-smuggling methods created for those of us brave enough to sneak drink around the place, and we've rounded up a few of the most ridiculous.

 5. The banana flask

This banana flask may not be the most realistic thing we've ever seen, but if this was stashed at the bottom of your bag, those drink-checkers may just think you have a healthy snack on board to keep those crucial energy levels up.

4. The sneaky umbrella

This one is particularly devious, as who would even think to accuse the humble umbrella of liaising with the demon drink?

The only problem is, this umbrella is not a functioning tool, so if you're at a rainy festival, you may have to forego your own brolly to avoid suspicion.

3. In your camera… your fake camera.

A flask shaped like a camera has been invented, and it's pretty genius if you ask us.

The sneaky novelty flask would definitely get past security, as long as they didn't pick it up and discover that it's weirdly heavy and making a sloshing sound.

2. The sneaky scarf

The infinity scarf may not be the trendiest fashion item in the world right now, but if that doesn't bother you then this flask could be for you.

1. The tampons

A complete classic, the tampon flask utilises the worldwide fear of periods to its advantage by hosting vials of alcohol in individual tampon wrappers.

We always have a few tampons rolling around our bags, so why shouldn't one or two be filled with wine?

Luckily, most Irish festivals allow booze in the campsites so we don't have to stoop to such extreme measures as some of our American counterparts, but these flasks would make a pretty great gift for the festival lover in your life.

We all tell our girlfriends our greatest anecdotes from work, but how would you describe your job to a stranger?

Twitter users have taken to the social media site to discuss their occupations, but they're doing it in the worst possible way, much to our amusement.

The tweets are explaining what people really do all day when it comes down to it, and some of the explanations are truly hilarious.

Take the Reverend, who describes herself by saying: "I've married many men, and I know where all the bodies are buried."

Some of the occupations are complete mysteries to us, while others are more obvious.

We're pretty sure that "I pick strangers up in a white van" is an ambulance driver, while "I create imaginary friends and send them on epic adventures" has to be a film writer.

There are some pretty funny occupation explanations in the tag, which is currently trending.

How would you badly describe your job?

Ed Sheeran and Rupert Grint probably get mistaken for one another all the time, especially after the insane Lego House doppelganger video.

Ed has been having a very exciting year thanks to the success of his new tune Shape Of You, and now Rupert is trying his hand at the lyrics.

Image result for RUPERT GRINT ED SHEERAN

Sticking to his acting roots, rather than singing the tune, Rupert is acting them out through a dramatic reading.

The results are as funny as you would think, especially when it comes to reading the multiple  "Oh, I" refrains in the chorus.

How Rupert held it together so well, we'll never know.

Doggie agility competitions can be absolutely adorable and completely hilarious.

From the uber-competitive pups who take it all very seriously, to the loose cannons who make a holy show of their owners, Crufts Dog Show is always worth a watch.

This year, one little pupper stood out from all the rest.

Olly, a sprightly little Jack Russell terrier, had his owner in quite a flap while he attempted to compete in the Rescue Dog Agility Course.

The pup went totally off-course, running amok and face-planting on the field after trying out some ambitious jumps.

While Olly may not have won any prizes, the Twittersphere loved him, and proclaimed him to be the star of the show.

Dubbed the ultimate tryer, Olly got plenty of online attention, especially for his jump attempt, which saw him land flat on his face after knocking the jump bar off the podium (thankfully he wasn't hurt at all).

Check out his full run for yourself, and prepare to fall in love with the persevering doggo:

If one outfit caught everyone’s attention last weekend, it was Chrissy Teigen’s super split Yousef Akbar AMA gown.

Despite earning the model a place on fashion sites across the globe, the daring black dress didn’t exactly behave itself on the red carpet.

After Chrissy’s nether region was exposed by a troublesome gust of wind, the 30-year-old was accused of lacking class by online critics.

But while public wardrobe malfunctions are enough to send many celebs into hiding, yesterday the Lip Sync Battle host employed her trademark sense of humour to apologise to those affected by the sight of her “hooha”.

Alongside a collage of photos from the night, Chrissy wrote: “#AMAs! Love you so so so much…(Apologies to anyone harmed mentally or physically by my hooha) dress is #yousefakbar and shoes are @dsquared2 and laser hair removal is @sevlaseraesthetics.”

Just like that, Chrissy brushed off an embarrassing episode, shut down her haters and gave a shout out to her laser hair removal practitioner.
