The powers that be have started rumours…rumours that we must investigate.

The theories over who would take over the role from Daniel Craig have been changing by the day, with Tom Hiddleston, Jamie Dornan and Aidan Turner being linked to the franchise over the last year.

Whispers in the film industry’s gossip crew are now reporting that actor Richard Madden could be taking up the mantle of the newest James Bond.

Sources in the tabloids are hinting that the former Game of Thrones actor (RIP Robb Stark, gone but not forgotten) and star of recent BBC phenomenon Bodyguard is top of executive producer Barbara Broccoli's wishlist for the role when Daniel Craig retires his blue steel eyes and tuxedo.

He certainly has a licence to thrill based on the excitement he caused from his turn as David Budd, protector of the fictional Home Secretary in the popular British show Bodyguard, which has recently announced will be coming to Netflix at the end of the month.

Eon Productions are expected to approach Madden regarding the iconic protagonist over the next few days, according to the Daily Mail.

Popular The Wire actor Idris Elba was previously thought to be the favourite frontrunner for the role, which would have been a major progression in diverse representation, but he broke everyone’s heart by recently quashing any Bond rumours.

Walking the London red carpet at the premiere of his directorial debut Yardie, Elba curtly ruled himself out of the competitive process of Bond auditions, despite feverish speculation surrounding him previously.

Danny Boyle has only just stepped down from the post of director of the 25th Bond film, citing “creative differences” with MGM.

It will be Daniel Craig’s fifth and final film as the infamous MI6 agent. True Detective mastermind Cary Fukunaga has been hired as Boyle’s replacement, with the film scheduled for February 2020.

We have faith that Richard Madden is the man to reignite the Bond franchise, I mean just look at that jawline?

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are set to tie the knot in the coming months and there’s no doubt they’re head over heels in love with one another.

A recent trip to a popular tattoo parlour in the Big Apple proved that their relationship is stronger than ever.

The couple decided to take a major (and slightly dodgy) step in their relationship by getting matching tattoos.

We once thought matching tattoos were a little bit of a cringe move, but Joe and Sophie have completely flipped our view on them.

The duo decided to get matching tattoos inspired by one of our favourite Disney films- Toy Story.

They got the popular quote ‘To infinity and beyond’ tattooed on their wrists.

Could they BE any cuter? We are so ready for these two to say ‘I do’ and make it official.

There has been heightened anticipation for the arrival of the final season of Game of Thrones.

Fans have grown obsessed with George R.R. Martin’s fantastical drama series, so when we heard we had to wait nearly two years for the final season, it was heartbreaking.

And what’s not to like?

Dragons, kingdoms, usurpers, powerful queens, wars, sex…and Kit Harington of course.

But to hold us over until we can see his gorgeous face again, the HBO series has announced some exciting news

GOT is currently wrapping up its last season, filming in remote, scenic locations in Northern Ireland and plans to share these iconic sets with the public.

Which means us peasants will be able to visit Winterfell and Westeros, re-enacting some of our favourite moments on the show.

The filming locations will be converted into tourist attractions following the series’ end.  So, not only will we be able to see these legendary sites in person, but we will be able to view them in all their GOT glory.

“Each site will exhibit displays of costumes, props, weapons, set decorations, art files, models, and other production materials.

“The visitor experience will be enhanced by state-of-the-art digital content and interactive materials which will showcase some of the digital wizardry the series is known for”, HBO recently announced.

Does this mean we can fulfil our Khaleesi fantasies and regally ride dragons across the lands? We hope so!

“While fans have seen the stunning landscapes, coastlines and mountains in the series, we are thrilled they will now have the opportunity to fully experience the charm of Northern Ireland and immerse themselves in to the world of Westeros,” said John McGrillen, Chief Executive of Tourism NI.

These confirmed locations include Winterfell, Castle Black, and King’s Landing.

I, for one, would love to re-enact the death of snivelling King Geoffrey or witness Tirian’s hilarious antics before he fled his family’s kingdom.

The current opening date is set for sometime next year. So stay tuned for any updates and start getting your favourite costumes for some amazing GOT insta pics.

Emilia's time on the programme has come to an end, as the next and final series is due to be released next year.

So, it doesn't come as a surprise that she has now chosen to pay tribute to her role.

The 31-year-old isn't the only member of her crew to have a tattoo in dedication to the TV show.

Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark has a direwolf with the words "the pack survives."

Maisie Williams also has a neck tattoo in relation to her character on the show, Arya Stark.

She had "No one" inked which references her training in season five to becoming a faceless man.

The temptation to get some GoT ink is real.

Let's get real, Tyrion Lannister is arguably one of the best characters GoT has.

His wit, backstabbing and drunken antics have earned him a special place in our fangirl hearts.

And the role would be nothing without actor Peter Dinklage, who won an Emmy last night for best-supporting actor.

However, rumours surfaced that the actor didn't want the part – which he quickly put to bed.

Last night, backstage at the 2018 Emmys, Peter said the claims were "nonsense."

“How does that rumour get started? I had some concerns maybe it’s filtered down into some sort of rumour that I didn’t want to do it," he asked.

Peter has embodied Tyrion since 2011 and explained how the producers reassured any doubts he may have had about the part.

“But when I met Dave (Benioff) and Dan (Daniel Brett Weiss) for the first time with Carolyn Strauss, another producer on the show, (it was) so many years ago in LA here, they told me about it briefly.

“Then I, before I met them and then I came in with some concerns about this genre, having seen many… pieces, because I wasn’t familiar with the books, so I wasn’t familiar with the complexity of Tyrion at that point because unfortunately before this character, many times people my size weren’t complicated enough for me to be interested in doing it."

“I had done it one or two times before and it didn’t grab me but they relieved my concerns very quickly”, he added.

The HBO series, based on George R.R. Martin's books also brought home an Emmy for the best drama series.

The win comes despite heavy criticism from fans and critics about the last season of the addictive telly.

Regardless of your feelings about season seven, we know you'll be glued to the screen for the final chapter, which will air next year.

Winter is coming ladies and gents.

When we're bopping around a major festival like Electric Picnic, it's difficult enough to even run in to our friends, let alone a major celebrity.

However, at this year's EP, Game of Thrones fans were in luck, with one prominent cast member wandering around Stradbally among them.

Natalie Dormer, aka Margaery Tyrell, was chilling down at the festivals now iconic Casa Bacardi area, where there was apparently no shortage of celebs as well as no shortage of craic.

She relaxed backstage with Irish personalities such as Holly Carpenter and the Kehoe sisters.

Natalie was spotted on the Sunday of the festival, ahead of sets by the likes of George Ezra, Nile Rodgers and The Prodigy.

St Vincent and The Kooks also played on the night, with Joey Negro and Krafty Kuts headlining at Casa Bacardi.

We'll be on the look out for the rest of the cast in Stradbally next year…

Kit Harington and Rose Leslie are officially husband and wife. The Game of Thrones stars tied the knot in a stunning wedding in Scotland yesterday.

Their nearest and dearest joined them to celebrate their nuptials, including their co-stars Emilia Clarke, Sophie Turner, Richard Madden, Peter Dinklage and Maisie Williams.

Liam Cunningham, Marcus Mumford, and Joe Dempsie also attended the celebration.

The lovebirds got married at the beautiful Rayne Church and continued their celebrations at the 12th century Wardhill Castle, which is believed to be owned by Rose’s father.

Rose’s dad Sebastian had the honor of walking his daughter down the aisle, he gushed about the momentous occasion: “We are absolutely thrilled for Kit and Rose to be marrying today. It’s an absolutely lovely day for us.”

He also shared that the couple used local caterers, local flowers and local lighting for the wedding.

The duo waved at onlookers as they both left the church. Family and friends showered them with confetti as they made their way through the church grounds.

Rose dazzled in a full-length lace dress and topped off her look with a veil and delicate floral headpiece.

The groom donned a black tailcoat, a cream waistcoat, and grey trousers.

Kit and Rose announced their engagement in the Forthcoming Marriages section of The Times newspaper last September. They first met on the set of popular series Game of Thrones.

Huge congratulations to Kit and Rose!

Does anyone lese just MELT when they see Kit Harington in all his glory? Because I certainly do.

Those brown eyes, I cannot be dealing.

Anyway, despite my love for him, I also have a lot of love for his gorgeous wife-to-be, Rose Leslie.

The pair met while acting alongside each other for Game of Thrones, and fell madly in love (on and off the screen!).

The pair started their romance in 2012, and just last year announced that they were engaged. And so, millions of hearts broke.

However, I couldn't be more delighted for the love birds,a nd honestly cannot wait for the wedding.

Talk about a GOT reunion!

Anyway, I digress.

It has recently been revealed that the couple have sent off their wedding invitations, and they are Game of Thrones inspired.

Screaming.

A person close to the pair revealed to the Daily Mail: "They organised the wedding quickly because they didn't want information to leak. But putting Kit's face on the envelope might be a bit of a giveaway, at least for postmen across the country."

Wait, WOT?

A special range of Game Of Thrones stamps were released by Royal Mail in the UK earlier this year featuring key characters, and they have been used to send all the wedding invitations. Excellent.

There are reportedly 200 guests invited to see the actors tie the knot at a Scottish castle.

Here's hoping it's NOTHING like the famous red wedding…

I actually find it difficult to explain how much I miss Game of Thrones.

So when I see anything remotely associated with the best show ever made, I can't help but get weirdly excited.

And that weird excitement was exactly my reaction to Morrison's new fancy Easter eggs.

The eggs look just like the petrified dragon eggs, you know the ones that Daenerys was given by Magister Illyrio Mopatis as a wedding gift?

Yeah, I remember it all!

No, they won't ultimately give birth to three tiny dragons, but they are made of delicious chocolate – and that's basically as exciting.

We'd still prefer the dragons, but here we are.

The eggs – which are part of Morrisons' 'The Best' range – are available in stores across the UK, and are also available to buy online, so we can all access the wonder of the Dragon egg.

As exciting as these eggs are, we still get a bit sad at the thought of not seeing the main lads on screen until 2019 – honestly feels like an eternity!

Until then, we'll be gorging on eggs and waiting.

Calling all Khaleesis – Maisie Williams, otherwise known as Arya Stark, just let slip when our favourite epic fantasy series is back.

According to the 20-year-old actress the final season will start in April 2019. GoT fans rejoice.

'We wrap in December and we air our first episode in April [2019],' Maisie told the Metro in an interview.

We have already reserved our favourite spot on the couch for the entire month.

Until now we've just known that the series is set to return in 2019, but knowing that it's in spring makes the wait that much easier.

Hopefully production doesn't push back the April premiere date, as often happens with TV programmes.

'There’s a lot that goes into the final edit,"'Maisie noted during the interview. 'You would not want to rush this season at all. We owe it to our audience and our fans to really do this final season to the best of our abilities.'

The show's ending is definitely going to be emotional, Maisie confessed in the interview.

'It’s going to be really odd not seeing the cast regularly. We all get on so well and we are such a tight-knit group,' she said.

In fact, they're so close that the 20-year-old is going to be a bridesmaid in co-star and on-screen sister Sophie Turner's wedding to Joe Jonas.

Between the impending nuptials and the programme's return, it's an exciting time to be a GoT fan.

Game of Thrones has captured the hearts and imaginations of millions in a way that few TV shows can.

For this reason, it's no surprise that the fantasy series has inspired a myriad of epic Halloween costume ideas.

Of course, Khaleesi is one of the most popular costume choices, with her flowing white locks and penchant for a leather ensemble.

One makeup artist is taking the Mother of Dragons look to a whole new level with her take on the beloved GoT character.

Instagram-famous Irish makeup artist and Youtuber Keilidh Cashell has combined Daenerys Targaryen with her powerful dragons to create a unique Halloween costume we wish we had the makeup skills to recreate.

Using the popular half-face format, the stunningly skilled MUA transformed half of her face into Khaleesi using subtle sculpting and a statement blonde wig, and used the other side to pay homage to Drogon.

A post shared by KEILIDH•CASHELL (@keilidhmua) on

The full tutorial isn't live yet, but the MUA did give some details on how she achieved the look in a caption on her Instagram page.

Keilidh used a few products we already have in our beauty arsenal to create the look, including a SOSU contour kit and Inglot gel liners.

The artist also used professional SFX makeup products to create those mythical scales.

'This is my favourite look of life!! Obsessed with GOT and wanted to do it justice – tutorial coming soon,' Keilidh captioned the snap – and we can't wait.
