They’re at it again!

Shiiiiit….

Not too long ago the official Garda Síochána Twitter account was having a great laugh with Ellie Goulding after her little run in with the law in Cork.

Now, the hilarious genius behind the social media account is at it again.

Yesterday’s Avicii concert in Marley Park was the source of many giggles as the hero account had some tongue-in-cheek banter with its 152,000 followers.

They started off with the usual informative snap. Reminding concert goers, and the Gardaí to stay hydrated and wear that all-important SPF. Good job guys.

Then they shared an epic aerial shoot of the venue itself including the massive crowd that gathered to see the DJ’s set.

Oh and they also know we have a soft spot for cute things. So they posted this snap of a four-legged official doing his duties. He’s smiling, adorable.

Then they couldn’t help themselves from sharing some of the selfies music fans were begging the Gardaí in attendance for.

They couldn’t resist swapping their usual attire for a nice snapback.

We thought they had outdone themselves with Ellie, but last night’s entertainment was something else.

Thank you, whoever you are, for keeping those of us who couldn’t make it to the gig highly entertained and informed.

The first day of the Leaving Cert is stressful enough, but throw in missing the bus before the first exam and it’s literally your worst nightmare come true.

Luckily for 17-year-old Ian Fitzhenry, when this happened, he managed to make his way out of the sticky situation in some serious style.

The Limerick student flagged down a taxi when he realised that his bus wasn’t coming just 15 minutes before the exam.

At 9.15am, the taxi wasn’t much help as the cab driver found himself stuck in morning traffic. We can only imagine the panic Ian must have been feeling.

But what the taxi driver did next is brilliant. He pulled over a Garda car that he noticed was behind them and explained the situation.

According to Limerick’s Live 95FM, “the Gardai agreed to escort the cab right through to the city centre school. The lucky student arrived just three minutes before his Leaving Cert English paper one started.”

A big shout out has to go to the taxi driver and the Gardai for getting Ian there on time. What a great ending.

We love a good animal story and this one is super cute!

Gardaí  at Finglas Garda Station found a cat in the yard yesterday and obviously decided to bring it inside while the owner was being located. However, their act of kindness may have backfired as now the cat is refusing to leave – we love it!

Taking to Twitter, the official Garda account wrote: “Cat found in the yard of Finglas station today. Won’t leave. It’s a young cat. Owner can collect it from the station.”

It didn’t take long for hilarity to ensue with people suggesting he may be a ‘cat burglar’ (geddit?) and others suggesting they keep the cat.

Here are some of our favourite tweets about Finglas Garda Station’s brand new pet:

Brilliant! What a gorgeous cat, we hope he finds his owner soon!
