Despite her rather disastrous stint in the jungle on I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out of Here, TOWIE star Gemma Collins’ career seems to be going from strength to strength.

According to reports this weekend, the star has just inked a lucrative deal with fashion mogul Sir Philip Green.

Gemma, who has her own fashion range and boutique, is believed to have agreed upon a £50,000 deal with the Topshop boss to completely revamp and revive his plus-size fashion chain, Evans.

Sources say that Sir Philip was looking for someone to “bring sexy back” into the store, and the task has fallen to popular reality star Gemma to boost the chain’s lines with some new and trendy ideas.

The 34-year-old is set to officially begin her role with the company on March 12, when she will be visiting Evans branches up and down the UK, meeting with customers and giving out style advice.

A source told the Irish Mirror: “Philip picked up on Gemma’s huge online fanbase and sees how well her clothes sell with her army of loyal Twitter fans. There aren’t many popular curvy female celebs who have such clout, so it’s understandable that Evans were keen to snap her up.”

The source added that Gemma’s “feisty and confident” attitude is exactly what the brand are trying to capture in their revamp.

Well done to Gemma, we bet she will do an amazing job.

Fans of The Only Way Is Essex will be well aware that Ferne McCann and Gemma Collins have not been getting on too well of late.

Now though, it appears the conflict between the two has worsened again. Despite planning to take a break from the show after her traumatic spell in the I'm A Celebrity... jungle, Gemma still chose to appear on the TOWIE Christmas special which airs tomorrow.

Speaking about the upcoming episode in her Star magazine column, Ferne said things had not gone smoothly during filming. "I hope you all enjoy the festive episode this week! I was hoping for a nice relaxed time but there was quite a bit of drama – as usual," she wrote.

In the show's series finale last month, Ferne and Gemma seemed to have put their differences behind them – even sharing a hug on camera.

But the truce didn't last long, according to Ferne. "You'll see why I've decided to wash my hands of Gemma Collins. After all we've been through, and the times I have supported her, I've finally had enough."

The conflict kicked off earlier in the series, when a minor argument about transport on a night out escalated into a shouting match, in which Gemma told Ferne that nobody liked her.

"You've pulled cheap stunts and you're a nasty person," said Ferne in retaliation.

We hope the two can work out their differences in time for Christmas!

Everyone was surprised to see Gemma Collins throw the towel in so early on her appearance in I’m A Celebrity, but the reality star has finally revealed the truth behind her decision.

In an interview on ITV’s This Morning, the TOWIE star today said that she had suffered an ‘horrific ordeal’ just 24 hours before leaving to participate in the show.

While Gemma could not go into detail due to an ongoing police investigation, she was visibly emotional as she recalled the traumatic event.

“I had been through an horrific ordeal 24 hours before I left for Australia. I was in so much shock, shock trauma,” she said.

Saying that she was heartbroken at having to leave the show so early on, the 33-year-old admitted she knew deep down that she wouldn’t be able to endure the task ahead of her.

“I have wanted to go into the jungle for three-and-a-half years – it’s the job I’ve wanted my whole life,” she said, adding, “The TV producers knew something had gone on but I covered it up.”

The star went on to confirm that she donated the fee she received for her stint on the show to charity.

Poor Gemma, we hope she’s okay!

Gemma Collins left the I’m a Celebrity Jungle after only three days, and it seems it wasn’t only the public that were disappointed by her exit.

Now, her TOWIE co-star Lauren Goodger has blasted her choice to quit the show in her new! column, calling it a wasted opportunity: “I think it’s such a shame that Gemma quit the I’m a Celeb jungle so early … I’m not being mean because I love Gem, but what a wasted opportunity … I admit I couldn’t do the jungle, but you know what you’re signing up for with shows like this! It’s such a shame.”

Somehow, we can't imagine Lauren in the jungle – but we also wouldn't be surprised if she signed up to replace poor Gemma!

Lauren's harsh words come only a day after it was reported that Gemma's dad said he knew his daughter would be unable to complete her time in the jungle: "I could see the way Gemma was the moment I saw her on screen. As a parent I just knew."

Gemma's decision to leave the jungle is thought to have come from stress she was under before leaving England, when her ex-boyfriend was arrested at her home following a disturbance. 

We're sure something like that is something you need time to get over, rather than entering a reality TV show known for its harsh living conditions!

Gemma Collins’ swift exit from the jungle last week shocked very few people, least of all her sixty-seven-year-old dad, Alan.

The TOWIE star, who decided to throw in the towel and leave long-running show I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! after just three days, had struggled from the very beginning and speaking on behalf of her family,  Alan said: “It was very difficult for us to watch.”

The thirty-three-year-old was apparently under a lot of stress in the days leading up to her departure for Oz so her concerned dad knew that she may not make it through the experience.

“Her decision to quit didn’t come as a shock to me at all. I could see the way Gemma was from the moment I saw her on screen. As a parent I just knew.”

Gemma’s proud dad is sure that under different circumstances, his daughter would have walked away with the crown, but an incident which took place with ex-boyfriend Alex Moss mere days before she left the UK had a bad effect on the normally bubbly Gemma.

Commenting on his daughter’s appearance, Alan said: “Had she gone out earlier and avoided it there would have been a different outcome. I believe Gemma was the only one who seemed to have any personality. She was the star from day one.”

So, it looks like the jungle has finally gotten the better of poor Gemma Collins.

It has been confirmed that the reality TV star has officially left the show, with a spokesperson saying: “We’re sorry to see Gemma go, but respect her decision and wish her well.”

The star was seen to be struggling even before arriving to the campsite, having suffered from an anxiety attack in the helicopter on the way. The TOWIE star didn’t have an easy time of it once she finally arrived either and complained of the ‘worst diarrhoea ever’ and also indulged in some pretty entertaining tantrums.  

We're not surprised the thirty-three-year old finally decided to throw in the towel and head back to Essex for some home comforts!

Gemma has been the focus of some pretty negative attention while appearing on the show, with unflattering memes of the celeb circulating on social media in the last week.

Gemma isn’t the first celeb to admit defeat and pack up over the course of the popular show either. She joins the ranks of Daniella Westbrook, Natalie Appleton and Brian Harvey who soon saw that Bushtucker Trials and dodgy dunnies weren’t for them and hightailed it back to the UK pronto!

Having just entered the jungle on ITV’s I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!, you would think that Gemma Collins would be pretty excited right now.

Apparently all is not so peachy for Gemma however, with the reality star reportedly terrified over a potential sex tape leak.

According to the Daily Star, the 33-year-old is afraid that a selfie sex tape may have stumbled into the wrong hands and may be released on the Internet.

A close friend told the paper: “Gemma is beside herself with worry that this might get out. The last thing she wants is a private recording of her bedroom antics being put on the net for everyone to see.”

Let’s hope it doesn’t come to that for the lovely Gemma. 

With a reputation for her unashamed honesty, we doubt it will be long before the star reveals all to her fellow camp mates.

TOWIE star Gemma Collis has been left shaken after an incident involving her boyfriend.

According to OK! the reality TV star was forced to call police after it was alleged her boyfriend had “beaten her up” at her Essex home last night.

Gemma claims that Alexander Moss caused destruction at her home shortly before she was due to leave for her appearance on I’m  A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!

The TV star also required medical attention from paramedics who arrived on the scene.

Police in the area confirmed the incident, stating: “We were called to an address in Warley near Brentwood shortly before 1.15am today following reports a woman had been assaulted. Officers went to the location and the victim was assessed by ambulance paramedics but did not need hospital treatment.”

A;expander is a convicted criminal who was in prison for drugs offences. 

Poor Gemma – we hope she is okay after the incident. We're not sure a stint in the jungle would help with this situation – perhaps a relaxing holiday would be better?!

Whether hosting or attending, we’ve all been in that awkward situation where we're at an event and tumbleweeds are rolling past for the want of guests.

This is why we really feel for TOWIE star Gemma Collins right now.

It seems that the popular reality star was expecting throngs of fans to turn up for the opening of her boutique in Essex this morning, but she was left bitterly disappointed when only a handful of people turned up for the event.

Awkward.

Indeed, Gemma was shocked to find nobody waiting when she turned up to cut the ribbon, with photos emerging of her boyfriend, Alex Moss, standing guard in front of velvet ropes that held no line.

Thankfully, the day was saved when a TOWIE tour group showed up, much to Gemma’s delight.

To be fair, most people were probably still in bed at 10.30 this morning, so let that be a comfort to you, Gemma.

Well this is an interesting plan.

New reports say Gemma Collins is about to quit The Only Way Is Essex.

The reality star now thinks she is too big for the show and is planning to pursue a solo career…as the next Oprah.

A source says: "Gemma feels she's done her time on TOWIE and is keen to try new things. She believes her profile is high enough to jump ship and go alone.

"There's even talk she could have her own show with Lime Pictures, who makes TOWIE."

Gemma has some experience in a small presenting role on This Morning, but we don’t know how she thinks she can live up to Queen O – especially when rumours say she will be heading into the jungle for I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! 2014.

Oh yeah, that’s definitely something Oprah would do…

Thankfully, Gemma doesn’t seem to have completely lost her mind, and won’t be storming out on TOWIE, leaving a bad taste in her cast mates’ mouths.

The Sun’s source says: "Gemma hasn't closed the door completely on TOWIE but there's a lot of other projects she's being lined up for."

Well her clothing line hasn’t done too badly so let’s see how her new plans work out…

TOWIE star Charlie King came out as gay on ITV’s This Morning earlier today.

Sitting down with presenters, Phillip Schofield and Amanda Holden, the reality TV star said: “I had a girlfriend, she was the first person I spoke to and told. It was a proper relationship but I was very aware when I was seeing her things weren’t quite right. If something doesn’t click, it doesn’t click.”

Charlie has received lots of positive feedback and praise from the Twittersphere for his bravery and honesty.

Following his admission, the star said: “It feels so good to do this.”

Charlie used to date co-star, Gemma Collins, who earlier tweeted: “I always SEE what other people don’t and speak the TRUTH x.”

If you ever meet Gemma Collins and she asks to bring your car for a test drive, say NO!

The TOWIE star reportedly drove a £130,000 Lamborghini into a wall while filming the show’s Marbella special, and didn’t even notice the scratches that lost the producers their £2,500 deposit.

On top of losing the deposit, she’s apparently caused thousands of pounds worth of damage.

Oh, Gemma. They can’t bring you anywhere!
