When the festive season hits, it's totally acceptable to make anything you want from food. And with this insanely decked out gingerbread house, no questions were asked (but we have just one… When can we eat it?!). 

American bank PNC just topped all the gingerbread houses in the WORLD, as it has created a life-size gingerbread bank. 

It's enormous treat is located in Philadelphia and was developed as part of the PNC's annual Christmas price index, which lists the costs of various gifts. 

The sweet bank, which opened this week is made from 2.5 tonnes of gingerbread, 1,135 litres of icing and more than 1,200 gumdrop sweets. 

It even has a fully-stocked free hot chocolate bar and a giant gingerbread US dollar and a chocolate-covered ATM machine.
