It was the teasing Instagram post that currently has his fans in a flurry.
Earlier today, heartthrob-in-waiting Brooklyn Beckham posted to his Instagram account a brooding black-and-white snap of a young woman (whose face is concealed) looking out at the Paris skyline.
Although it has now notched up some quarter of a million likes from his 4.2million followers, significantly the aspiring artist left the snap captionless.
Not that that stopped thousands of comments from fans – most of whom furiously speculated as to who the pretty girl could be.
And while there is yet no confirmation that the duo are indeed dating, it seems that social media is confident of one thing – her name: Sonia.
An Instagram account supposedly belonging to her today remains set to 'private'.
Regardless of their relationship status, the eldest child of Victoria and David is certainly enjoying the sights and sounds of Paris accompanied by a close female friend.
He was today seen leaving his hotel along with a young woman who looks remarks similar to 'Sonia,' and who certainly is wearing the same dark jumper and carrying the same quilted Chanel handbag as the girl in his online snap.
She also wears blue ripped jeans and black buckled ankle boots.
One video captured by a fan shows the duo emerging from the five-star venue in central Paris.
And as he is quickly mobbed by his adoring fans, she discreetly makes her way over to the sidelines, directed by one of his aides.
Brooklyn, 16, is a keen photographer and has been closely documenting his visit to the French capital on his Instagram page.
As well as the picture of his lady friend, recent snaps include those he took at Centre Pompidou and the Eiffel Tower.
In fact, although he was once thought to be headed for a career on the soccer pitch like his famous dad, the teenager now simply describes to himself on his social media accounts as a "photographer".
Earlier this week, he became the first male celebrity to grace the front of Miss Vogue UK.
In an accompanying interview, Brooklyn told the magazine: "I love football but I'm also very passionate about photography and film.
"I'm keeping my options open right now but I'm hoping to study art and philosophy in the US once I have finished my A-levels."
