Have you ever laid in bed, pondering the thought that your bedroom would look a million times better if you had dragon-fire to light up the space? We know we have.

Game of Thrones fans may just lose their minds when they see that Etsy is now selling dragon lamps, which literally blow three-dimensional fire in an array of colours.

Just switch on the button on your remote control to change the colour of the dragon fire and set the atmosphere as you wish. We have to admit, they'd look pretty damn cool in our gaffs:

Image: Etsy

We're still not entirely over that shocking GOT finale, and we've got years to wait until Bloodmoon, the much-anticipated prequel, airs on TV.

This lamp is the perfect reminder of the good old days when Daenerys Targaryen had three full dragons; Drogon, Rhaegra and Viserion.

Remember when one of them were White Walker baddies or fell into the ocean after being speared? Good times. Thankfully, some genius figured out a way to make a 3D printed dragon lamp with fire coming out of it's mouth:

Image: Etsy

This lamp may just be the greatest thing Westeros has ever seen…imagine how jealous everyone else in the Seven Kingdoms would be if they saw this in your house?

You can change the position of the dragons by either leaving them down on a table or placing them on the wall, so it can be a bold Night King ice dragon or a Dany Drogon with warm orange tones.

It's an unofficial GOT piece of merchandise, by the way, but we're choosing to decide that it was made by Daenerys for us personally. Get yours now on Etsy for €45, what a steal.

Now that the biggest and most streamed television show of ALL TIME is finally over, whatever will we do with our sad lives?

We've got no more character deaths to mourn, no more badass dragon 'Dracarys' moments, and no more twists and fan theories to obsess over. All seems lost.

Never fear, Game of Thrones fanatics, for a prequel series has already begun filming in Belfast. That's right: Bloodmoon is coming. Here's everything you need to know…

While George RR Martin still hasn't written the last two books (for the love of God, hurry up), he's been working on the much-anticipated prequel which was tentatively called, The Long Night but later became Bloodmoon.

HBO’s programming president Casey Bloys told the Hollywood Reporter last year, “We’re shooting the pilot in June.”

“This is a pilot, so we’re doing it the old-fashioned way, which is shooting a pilot. My expectation is it will be great."

Fans have spotted parts of the set popping up around Belfast at The Paint Hall in the Titanic Quart, and it looks absolutely amazing.

The Paint Hall was once where the component parts of ships were painted in climate controlled conditions, according to inews.co.uk, and the same studio was used to shoot many of GOT's renowned interior shots.

Game of Thrones author George RR Martin claims the premise is set some 10,000 years before the events of current GOT times, and "really puts the 'pre' in prequel."

"Since it is set not 90 years before Game of Thrones, or a few hundred years, but rather ten thousand years.” The show will begin during the Age of Heroes, and chronicles how the world descended into darkness.

Bloodmoon follow's the continent's descent from the golden Age of Heroes into its darkest hour. The period is named for the men and women who lives in the years of peace after the First Man and Children of the Forest signed a pact.

From the horrifying history of Westeros to the origin of the White Walkers, the mysteries and secret legends are set to be spine-chilling. The Children of the Men created the White Walkers, so both groups will presumably play a strong role in the show.

Among the heroes of the time are Bran the Builder, who built the famous Wall and Winterfell, and founded House Stark. Lann the Clever, who started the Lannister bloodline, will also be involved.

Around 8,000 years before Aegon I Targaryen conquered Westeros, the Long Night took place. During the Age of Heroes, this brutal winter lasted a generation and the White Walkers came into existence.

Fan faves may be making an appearance in younger form, but Martin dispelled this myth in his blog posts;

"Nnone of the characters or actors from Game of Thrones will appear in the new show." It's all new characters for us to enjoy, and Casey Bloys also confirmed that this world will be entirely different.

“I want the original Game of Thrones to be its own thing. I don’t want to take characters from this world that they did beautifully and put them off into another world with someone else creating it."

“George has a massive, massive world; there are so many ways in. That’s why we’re trying to do things that feel distinct — and to not try and redo the same show.”

The actors who have already been cast in the show are definitely ones to watch, we're so excited to see what their characters will bring:

Naomi Watts is heading the new cast, and the English actress is set to play “a charismatic socialite hiding a dark secret”.

Naomi Ackie has also been cast, who is most known for her role in 2016's Lady Macbeth and will feature in the next instalment of the Star Wars saga: Episode IX

Irish actress Denise Gough will also be included, and Jamie Campbell Bower of Fantastic Beasts fame.

He is known for roles in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, Caius in The Twilight Saga, and the young Gellert Grindelwald in Harry Potter's spin-off franchise.

Ivanno Jeremiah (Humans, Black Mirror), George Henley (The Chronicles of Narnia), Alex Sharp (The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time), Toby Regbo (Mr. Nobody, The Last Kingdom) and Sheila Atim (Twelfth Night) have also been confirmed for the prequel.

Many of the actors are relatively new on the scene, so these roles could be the making of their careers. George RR Martin is creating the series in collaboration with Jane Goldman.

Goldman is familiar with most people for her writing work on films such as X-Men: First Class, Kick-Ass and the Kingsman franchise. They wrote the tale together and will executive-produce, with Goldman writing the teleplay.

Vince Gerardis, who executive-produced Game of Thrones, is also signed on to help with Bloodmoon, which isn't the only GOT spin-off in the pipeline.

It's rumoured that three more are reportedly in pre-production, but Brian Cogman's prequel is not going ahead. George R.R. Martin also shared his massive workload with fans;

“I’ve got five shows in development at HBO (some having nothing whatsoever to do with the world of Westeros), two at Hulu, one on the History Channel,” he said. “I’m involved with a number of feature projects, some based upon my own stories and books, some on material created by others."

“There are these short films I am hoping to make, adaptations of classic stories by one of the most brilliant, quirky, and original writers our genre has ever produced.”

In terms of when it might air, HBO's Casey Bloys told the Hollywood Reporter, “You can do the math and figure out when it would be on the air.” Translation: Not for a while.

“What I’m not doing is working backwards by saying, ‘This has to be on the air by this date,'” he said. “We want to do the best show possible. I don’t want to speculate any dates.”

It's hard to imagine anyone other than Khaleesi Emilia Clarke playing the Mother of Dragons, and another actress who auditioned to play the infamous character clearly agrees.

Now that Game of Thrones has finally come to an end after eight seasons of blood, sweat and MANY tears, we can hear the behind-the-scenes tea on the actors.

As it turns out, Avengers star Elizabeth Olsen auditioned for the role of Daenerys Targaryen, saying it was "the most awkward audition I've ever had".

Would things have ended very differently for Dany, had another actress played her? Speaking to Vulture on last week, Olsen revealed she tested out two different accents during her GOT audition, and the result was awkward AF.

The baby sis to the Olsen twins is most famous for playing Wanda Maximoff in the Avengers franchise. Her career would have turned out less action adventure and more fantasy, had she not lost out to Emilia Clarke.

"It was the most awkward audition I'd ever had," she said. "When I first started working, I just auditioned for everything because I like auditioning. The producers didn't know if they wanted a British accent or not.

"It was terrible. Bad audition story," she said. She made sure to add that she's now a huge fan of the show, and is especially obsessed with a certain Northern Wolf;

"I'm just so deep in Game of Thrones that all I can think about is Kit Harington. I mean, he's just brainwashed me." You're not the only one thinking the same thing, gal. He knows nothing.

Joe Dempsie, who plays Gendry on the HBO showtold Cosmopolitan that he actually auditioned for the role of Jon Snow in the early days, but affirmed that pretty much every young lad did as well.

"Initially I auditioned to play Jon Snow, but the thing to remember is, originally, HBO only commissioned the pilot, and then after that was made, there was still another 18 months between that and it being commissioned for a full series."

"So, ages and ages ago I auditioned to be Jon Snow. But I think pretty much every Caucasian actor of a certain age auditioned to play Jon Snow at that point," he added.

Kit made the role his own, and honestly nobody else could have worked those dark tresses better than himself. But nice try, Gendry.

First the coffee cup, which brand I refuse to name, and now this? It seems Game of Thrones can't quite escape the eagle eyes of its fan-base when it comes to errors made on-screen.

During the final episode of the eighth season, viewers noticed that a water bottle joined the infamous coffee cup that was shown in front of Daenerys Targaryen at Winterfell.

During a scene in which the group are literally deciding the fate of the Six Kingdoms (the North has gone solo, courtesy of Sansa), the blunder was in full view and it's pretty gas.

Things are getting thirsty down in King's Landing, is that Samwell Tarley that left his water bottle in full view? Also, plastic bottles are a big no-no since all the climate breakdown news has hit.

Get on board with reusable bottles, HBO, for the love of God.

Poor Sam was trying to educate the group of lords and ladies about this thing called DEMOCRACY and low-and-behold, the water bottle distracted the fans instead of his (shite) speech.

The show-runners will probably have to make yet another statement, after a takeaway coffee cup was seen amid the metal goblets during a Winterfell feast. Once again, HBO has room in their big budget for Keep Cups. Just sayin'.

Many fans have criticised the final season of the show for it's ridiculously rushed pacing towards the end, and destroying the arcs of many a character.

Over one million people signed a petition which called for a remake of the final season, and this certainly won't help David Benioff and DB Weiss win the GOT fanatics over.

Let's not lie to ourselves here, every single one of us will bawl our eyes out during the last season of HBO's iconic fantasy show, Game of Thrones.

How could we not? Any character who has survived up until now gets a medal, to be fair, and our favourites could die at any second.

The visual effects, the romance, the betrayals, the wars, THE DRAMA. *swoons* Kit Harington, Jon Snow himself, recently spoke to GQ Australia, where he revealed how difficult the final season was to film.

It made Harington cry more than once, but according to the protagonist and infamous member of the Night's Watch, the show "seemed to be designed to break us." Same here, Kit, same here.

"Everyone was broken at the end. I don't know if we were crying because we were sad it was ending or if we were crying because it was so f–king tiring," he divulged to GQ Australia.

"We were sleep deprived. It was like it was designed to make you think, ‘Right, I'm f–king sick of this'," he added. We'd crave our beds too.

"I remember everyone walking around towards the end going, ‘I've had enough now. I love this, it's been the best thing in my life, I'll miss it one day—but I'm done.'"

Co-creator of the show David Benioff explained that the lengthy delay between seasons is because of how monstrous a job it is to get the episodes made, especially with the immense visual effects.

"The final season's taking a long time because it's the biggest thing we've ever done," Benioff said backstage at this years Emmys.

"It was nearly a full year in Belfast either prepping it or actually shooting it. I think when people see it, they're going to understand why it took so long. The last season is far beyond what we've ever attempted before."

Richard Pepler, head of HBO, commented he's seen rough cuts of every episode of the final season. Lucky b*astard.

"It's a spectacle. The guys have done six movies. The reaction I had while watching them was, ‘I'm watching a movie,'" Plepler told Variety at a Golden Globes party.

"Benioff and D.B. Weiss knew the bar was high. They've exceeded the bar. I've watched them twice without any CGI and I'm in awe. Everybody's in for an extraordinary treat of storytelling and of magical, magical production."

Details are still pretty (Ned) Stark, however we do know that the BIGGEST Game of Thrones battle ever will take place, and allegiances are shaky AF as the White Walkers march onwards.

The final season is set to debut in April 2019, and Harington can't wait to release it;

"And that weight is off my shoulders. It's done now. I can be proud of it. We've got eight seasons, and they can sit on a bookshelf at home 'til the end of time," he said.

HBO has now released a teaser for season eight and it looks glorious.

Amongst a number of trailers for their 2019 shows, you can spot clips of the upcoming series.

Notably, we see Sansa meet Daenerys Targaryen (skip ahead to 39 seconds of the video below to see all the GoT action).

In the snippet, Sansa tells Daenerys that: "Winterfell is yours, your grace," – EEK!

It appears from the relaxed tone of their exchange that they could be unaware that the Wall protecting them, is nothing more than a puddle now.

As the White Walkers approach with their ice dragon, we imagine all the politeness will go out the window and panic mode will set in.

WE CAN'T WAIT, roll on April.

There has been heightened anticipation for the arrival of the final season of Game of Thrones.

Fans have grown obsessed with George R.R. Martin’s fantastical drama series, so when we heard we had to wait nearly two years for the final season, it was heartbreaking.

And what’s not to like?

Dragons, kingdoms, usurpers, powerful queens, wars, sex…and Kit Harington of course.

But to hold us over until we can see his gorgeous face again, the HBO series has announced some exciting news

GOT is currently wrapping up its last season, filming in remote, scenic locations in Northern Ireland and plans to share these iconic sets with the public.

Which means us peasants will be able to visit Winterfell and Westeros, re-enacting some of our favourite moments on the show.

The filming locations will be converted into tourist attractions following the series’ end.  So, not only will we be able to see these legendary sites in person, but we will be able to view them in all their GOT glory.

“Each site will exhibit displays of costumes, props, weapons, set decorations, art files, models, and other production materials.

“The visitor experience will be enhanced by state-of-the-art digital content and interactive materials which will showcase some of the digital wizardry the series is known for”, HBO recently announced.

Does this mean we can fulfil our Khaleesi fantasies and regally ride dragons across the lands? We hope so!

“While fans have seen the stunning landscapes, coastlines and mountains in the series, we are thrilled they will now have the opportunity to fully experience the charm of Northern Ireland and immerse themselves in to the world of Westeros,” said John McGrillen, Chief Executive of Tourism NI.

These confirmed locations include Winterfell, Castle Black, and King’s Landing.

I, for one, would love to re-enact the death of snivelling King Geoffrey or witness Tirian’s hilarious antics before he fled his family’s kingdom.

The current opening date is set for sometime next year. So stay tuned for any updates and start getting your favourite costumes for some amazing GOT insta pics.

Like the rest of the world, we're obsessed with Game of Thrones at the SHEmazing HQ.

We waited with bated breath for the arrival of season seven, and now that we're catching up with the goings-on of Westeros, our minds have already wandered to the final season of the iconic show.

The eight season is currently being written, and HBO programming president Corey Bloyes has revealed that it may be a while until we get to see the finished product on our screens.

When asked by Entertainment Weekly if GoT's final season could be as late as 2019, Bloys confirmed it was a 'yeah.'

'Yeah. They have to write the episodes and figure out the production schedule,' he said.

'We’ll have a better sense of that once they get further into the writing.'

A post shared by gameofthrones (@gameofthrones) on

Bloyes also quashed rumours of five potential spin-off shows.

While he admitted that there were four or five ideas for spin-offs in the works, he hoped that through careful curation, GoT writers would whittle them down to one amazing concept.

He also let slip that the spin-off also would not be hitting screens until long after the final season has aired.

'That’s not what’s going on. The idea is not to do four shows,' he told Entertainment Weekly.

'The bar set is so high that my hope is to get one show that lives up to it. Also, this is a long-term plan.'

'Our No. 1 goal is the seventh season this summer and getting the eighth season written and aired.'

Until then, we'll be binge-watching season seven.
