The Easter weekend is just around the corner and we honestly can’t wait to curl up on the sofa with an Easter egg (or ten) and simply unwind.

We’ve got dozens of movies to watch on Netflix, drama series to binge-watch and of course, a stellar episode of The Graham Norton Show to tune into on Friday night.

As per usual, Corkman Graham has mustered up quite the incredible lineup.

Pitch Perfect star Rebel Wilson and actress Anne Hathaway will join Graham to chat all about their new movie The Hustle.

NOW TV has revealed the Irish public's faves for this Sunday's Academy Awards, and some of them just might surprise you.

While many are speculating that Green Book or Bohemian Rhapsody will take the gong, Ireland's top choice for the Best Picture Award is A Star Is Born, featuring Lady Gaga and directed by and starring Bradley Cooper.

Black Panther is also a dark horse in the category, being the first superhero movie to ever be nominated for the coveted prize.

In terms of Irish talent, 44 percent of the nation's participants believe that Saoirse Ronan was robbed of a Best Actress Oscar nod (which would be her FOURTH nomination) for Mary, Queen of Scots.

The starred in the film alongside Margot Robbie as Queen Elizabeth, and many believe her amazing performance deserved the nomination. Her previous category nods include roles in Brooklyn, Lady Bird and Atonement.

20 percent of survery participants said that they will be following the results and outcome on social media, and we suspect many of us will be gaggin' to see the gorgeous couture being donned.

Timothée Chalamet is another reason to watch…Just saying…

Unsurprisingly, Ireland's choice for Oscar host is the white wine-sipping legend that is Graham Norton. The acerbic wit would be pure gas at the Hollywood event, if his hilarious Eurovision content is anything to go by.

The public voted 64 percent in his favour as host. NOW TV also found that 47 percent of Irish people will be watching the 91st Academy Awards on social media, a highlights reel or the news.

25 percent of Irish people will wait until the next morning to get the Oscars gossip, rather than the 20 percent who plan to keep updated as the ceremony happens.

For any Oscars enthusiasts, watching the Academy Awards is easier than ever. NOW TV also calculated Ireland's favourite or most memorable Oscar moments, and they're still scandalous as ever.

The La La Land Best Picture error in 2017 topped the poll as the most memorable Oscar moment, with more than one-third of respondents recalling the horrendous moment that the film was called out as Best Film by MISTAKE, stealing Moonlight's thunder.

Ellen DeGeneres' star-studded selfie was next in line, taking 22 percent of the Irish public's vote.

In terms of red carpet fashion highlights, 26 percent of participants chose Cher's 1986 bare stomach look with a feathered headpiece as the biggest fashion fail. Bjork's 2001 swan dress with egg laying motion was also a high contender in the faux pas category.

Sacha Baron Cohen appearing as Admiral General Aladeen took 21 percent of the fashion fail vote, and Gwyneth Paltrow’s braless goth look from 2002 had 19 percent of the vote.

Kevin Hart stepped down as Academy Awards host in January after homophobic tweets were revealed and he failed to apologise this year for them, leaving the 2019 Oscars hostless. It's a shame Graham Norton wasn't asked…

Ellen DeGeneres topped the polls as the most favourable Oscar's host, taking 29 percent of the participants' favourite vote, and Whoopi Goldberg came second with 20 percent. Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin had 14 percent of the vote as a comedic duo.

31 percent of Irish people want A Star Is Born to sweep the ceremony, and hope for Gaga to win Best Actress (39 percent) and Bradley Cooper as Best Actor (32 percent). They do have outrageously great chemistry… and he should have gotten the Best Director nod too. I stand by that,

NOW TV have given us the goss, and you can watch the ceremony through their website here.

Arguably Ireland’s favourite West Cork native, Graham Norton has once again joined forces with SuperValu to launch his very own gin, Graham Norton’s Own Irish Gin, which is available exclusively in SuperValu stores nationwide.

Following on from the success of Graham’s award-winning GN Wine range which includes Sauvignon Blanc, Shiraz, Rosé and Prosecco, the renowned TV presenter has launched his own Irish gin which celebrates the beauty and unique flavours of West Cork.

Partnering with an Irish distillery was very important to Graham and an extensive search led to a distillery near Graham’s West Cork home.

West Cork Distillers have worked with Graham and the team to create the great tasting gin.  Distilled and produced using 100 percent Irish grain Graham Norton’s Own Irish Gin draws its flavour from a combination of 12 botanicals including angelica, fuchsia flowers, orris roots, rose hip, basil and liquorice root – all of which contribute to a Gin which is as unique as the man himself.

John Cooney, Off-Licence Trading Manager for SuperValu said: “We’re still seeing a huge demand for gins and gin sales are constantly on the rise so to have one on our shelves, produced by Graham Norton himself is something we’re incredibly excited about.  The Gin market is experiencing strong growth in the take home gin category with a 44.5% increase in sales over the last year and we believe that Graham Norton’s new gin will certainly add to those figures.”

He added: “The gin itself is best served simply with Indian Tonic Water, ice and fresh lime to garnish. This ensures the consumer tastes the real essence of this very fine blend. The bottle shape and design really stand out from other gins and I’m confident that consumers will give it a big – Sláinte!”

Graham Norton’s Own Gin (RRP €39) is available exclusively from SuperValu stores now. See www.supervalu.ie for more information.

Hollywood actor Chris Pine paid Graham Norton a visit the other day, and boy did he cause a stir, much like his role in the new flick Outlaw King, in which Pine shared more than a little of himself.

Norton, never one to beat around the bush, launched into the talk show by addressing the fan frenzy surrounding the 38-year-old Star Trek actor’s role as Robert the Bruce in the new Netflix film.

To put it bluntly, Chris Pine has a scene with FULL FRONTAL NUDITY. Yup, you read that right.

What a time to be alive.

“There’s a scene in the film where I bare the full Monty and, yeah, that seemed to get a lot of attention,” Pine comments. Attention is one word for it, obsession is another. Fans have lost their minds over his crown jewels, and they aren’t afraid to let him know about it either.

Rami Malek and Sally Field were also present as guests on the couch, and they most definitely enjoyed themselves reading the tweets sent in about Chris Pine.

Sally Field, being the hero that she is, schooled Chris Pine on the fact it's been pretty much entirely women who have been baring all for years, hence why the world is freaking out when a man does it.

While speaking to The Hollywood Reporter earlier, the actor stated that the nudity was necessary to convey that his 14th century character in Outlaw King was still just a living thing underneath it all.

"There's so much beheading in this, and yet people want to talk about my penis," he continued, while at the Toronto Film Festival.

"Underneath the Emperor's clothes is a muling, puking little kid who was once upon a time just rolling around in the mud and a child. The idea that underneath every prime minister, and president, and ruling leader that we give power to is someone that is just an animal…”

We wonder if director David Mackenzie has read some of those tweets? Pine’s name actually translates to a vulgar French term for male genitalia, ironic enough as that is.

It seems like realism is what they were going for, but Pine’s fans may have missed that notion…

Outlaw King premieres on Netflix on the 9th of November, prepare yourselves ladies and gentlemen.

It's Friday, the weekend and a night made for a deserved glass of wine and with must-watch TV (unless, you know, you have an actual social life).

Our favourite host Graham Norton is back tonight to kick-start a brand new series of his loved show. We've missed you – and your amazing line-up of guests! – in our living rooms, Graham!

Here's all you need to know about this evening's round-up and all the guests who will be appearing – it's going to be SO GOOD.

Two incredible leading ladies will be an appearance on that famous red couch. The ever-talented Lady Gaga will talk all things about her new (already Oscar-hyped) film A Star is Born and formidable actress Jodie Whittaker will talk about her much-discussed role in Doctor Who; she is the first female to ever take the leading role of the Time Lord.

And gals, just wait for it.

Bradley Cooper, Ryan Gosling and Rod Stewart will ALL sit alongside them.

We can't deal.

Cooper and Gosling will talk all things film, while Stewart will no doubt push his new album and upcoming UK and Ireland tour (do we really care about the finer deets, though?).

We're saying it – all Friday night plans cancelled.

The Graham Norton Show is on BBC One at 10.35pm on tonight and every Friday.

Most of us have been mixed up with a sibling on at least one occasion, right?

Whether a teacher confused you with your sister or a relative attributed your brother's enviable talent for tennis to you, we've all been there in some way.

And that includes the A-listers.

While appearing on Graham Norton this weekend, Noel Gallagher had to navigate a potentially awkward moment when the host fell short on his research, and accidentally confused Noel with his brother Liam.

Attempting to establish a connection between Noel and his fellow guest, Jack Black, Graham alluded to a project they worked on together, only to be met with confusion by both parties.

And then the penny dropped…

Adam Sandler has been criticised following an “uncomfortable” interview on The Graham Norton Show this week, during which he repeatedly put touched British actress, Claire Foy.

Viewers of the show took to Twitter to express to express their discomfort after the US actor placed his hand on Claire's knee as he told an anecdote about a trip with his parents.

Despite the actress appearing to squirm at the first touch, Adam once again reached over to rest his hand on her knee for a number of seconds.

Emma Thompson, who was also a guest on the show, seemed to be quite aware of the fact that the actor was acting inappropriately and appeared to glare at him until he removed his hand.

According to The Independent, a spokesperson for the married father-of-four described his actions as “a friendly gesture” – but rather unsurprisingly, not everyone interpreted them this way.

However, despite heavey criticism, many viewers jumped to the actor's defence, insisting his actions were harmless.

If there's one place guests are guaranteed to open up when appearing on British TV, it's Graham Norton's sofa.

And last night was no different.

Joining Colin Farrell, Nicole Kidman and Matt Lucas on set, Bryan Cranston regaled the audience and his fellow guests with a story so bombastic, even Colin Farrell appeared enthralled.

We don't want to spoil it for you, but it involves the glorious Bryan, his wife Robin, their honeymoon and one very awkward sexcapade.

Us Irish can be quite picky when it comes to travelling.

According to the latest national survey by Red C for Travel Counsellors Ireland, there's a few things that we just can't live without on holiday.

There's also a few things we wish we could have…

1. The Celeb

When it comes to a travel companion, Irish comedian Graham Norton won the top spot, with the majority of participants choosing him as a holiday BFF.

However, the funnyman proved to be more popular with women, with 50 per cent of them choosing him as a holiday companion compared to only one in three men.

Kim Kardashian was also a popular choice, but more so with males as 18 per cent chose her as their sun buddy, compared to only four per cent of females.

The SHEmazing gals however would love Kimmy K as a holiday BFF (imagine all the secrets she'd tell us!).

Next in line was chart-topper Adele, with 27 per cent of the vote over all, while one in five people chose Michael Fassbender to head away with them.

2. The Beverage

When we head away on holiday, it's safe to say they only thing on our minds is relaxing with a tasty cocktail.

But it looks like the rest of the population can't live without one certain beverage, and it's far from boozy.

You can probably guess what the beverage of choice is, right? *Drumroll* it's tea!

One in ten people surveyed said that they need some Irish tea on holiday, and many pack it along with their sun lotion!

3. The Essentials

So, one of the essentials we need on holiday is our smartphones (because we all need that perfect Instagram picture, right?).

One in three said having their phones with them is a priority when travelling, however, they're more important to single people, with 40 per cent of singletons saying they could not part with their phones, compared to only 25 per cent of married people.

The survey also revealed 31 per cent of Irish people prefer having a tailor-made holiday, while 21 per cent said it was more important to have a holiday financially protected.

The Graham Norton Show is always worth a watch, and tonight's episode is no exception.

Dublin singer Imelda May will be lighting up the small screen stage as Graham's musical guest, and we're dying to hear her perform the songs from her new album, Life Love Flesh Blood.

The singer is no stranger to the show, having appeared as a guest back in 2011 to discuss her first album.

Billie Piper will also be in attendance to chat about her return to the role of Yerma at the Young Vic, while comedian Jason Manford will be on to discuss his new hosting gig.

Guy Ritchie and Charlie Hunnam will also be sitting down with Graham to discuss their new film, King Arthur.
