Snapchat just brought Christmas early with its LIT new features
Snapchat just released it's December update, and we are beyond excited about some of the new features.
The big update comes in the form of the highly anticipated group chat feature, allowing up to 16 people to chat together.
It's about time they have group chats on snapchat.

Additionally, it includes a way to leave the group and private message with one group member before rejoin the chat crew.
We wouldn't advise saying anything you wouldn't want the rest of the group to hear though, it's just one slip of the thumb away from being broadcast to the entire chat crew!
The new feature is reminiscent of WhattsApp but, like all Snapchats, the messages disappear after 24 hours.
Our prayers have been answered by the snapchat company! we now have group snapping!

Snapchat has also hooked up with Shazam, the handy song identifier app.
Snapchat addicts can now identify a song playing through the new Shazam feature of the app wherever they are, without having to X out of the app.

Artistic snapchatters can now make stickers and get creative with their snaps using the new scissors tool.
Paint brush is the fourth and final update feature, and allows you to give your snaps in memories a new look using different artistic styles.

Facebook also introduced new camera features this week, with a Snapchat geotag style camera that gives locations different frames.
Instagram also just rolled out "disappearing photos and videos" that can be sent directly to individuals, as well as a live stream feature.
