That’s it, we’re all getting bobs! They’re clearly the look of 2015 and we want in.

Vanessa Hudgens is the latest celebrity to go for the chop, cutting off her long signature dark hair in exchange for a very sophisticated bob.

Sharing a photo of her new look with followers on Instagram, Vanessa wrote: “Who need a lob when you can have a bb (blunt bob)!! Thanks to my boo @kristinabarricelli @gemini14salon.”

From Kim Kardashian and Cheryl Fernandez-Versini to Queen Bey herself, the bob is having a serious moment – would you be tempted to go for the chop?

Kim Kardashian is no stranger to making headlines, but her new blonde ‘do has gotten a LOT more attention that anyone had anticipated!

Of course, there were those who didn’t think much of her new look – with some hilarious comparisons to Draco Malfoy made by even Tom Felton himself.

So apparently Kanye has a Draco fetish….#muse

However, there were also a lot of people who love Kim’s new look and may want to try it out for themselves.

In her Instagram post unveiling the new platinum colour, Kim pointed out that getting her hair, which is naturally very dark, blonde “in one try” was definitely “not an easy task.”

Now, the colourist behind the blonde hue has spoken about how you can go Kim K blonde too, if you want to that is.

Talking to The Huffington Post, Lorri Goddard said: “We tossed around ideas of hues and application and all decided on the end result. It is extremely difficult to take dark hair to platinum as it shifts the condition of the hair but hair can be kept strong if the proper conditions are taken. Always start with a strand test to establish if hair is strong enough to take the platinum journey and begin the hair process away from the scalp working with ends first as the scalp exudes heat, which quickens the process.”

Lorri also advised people seeking out Kim’s look to leave hair uncoloured for months prior to the big change: “Make sure hair is freshly cut and preferably uncoloured for three to six months as that will yield the best results.”

So, there we have it ladies! Would you be tempted to go platinum?!

There must be something in the air over at the Kardashian household as only days after Khloé showed off her new blonde hair, her sister Kim copied her!

Kim, who is in Paris for fashion week at the moment, was spotted wearing a giant beanie hat yesterday – but some sneaky cameraman managed to capture what was underneath the hat:

Yes, Kim has gone blonde! However, it’s not like the dark, ombre blonde she's had before, this looks well and truly peroxide:

Reactions have been mixed so far… but we kinda love it!

Is there any style that Cheryl Fernandez-Versini cannot pull off? We’re thinking the answer to that is a resounding ‘no’ after seeing her new ‘70s ‘do!

The X-Factor judge had teased her fans on Instagram shortly before unveiling her new look by posting a photo of hairdressers' utensils and writing: "Long over due…"

The singer later shared a photo of her new hairstyle, which is much shorter than we are used to seeing on her and captioned: “I [love] the 70’s #newdo colour is @lorealparisuk Casting Creme Gloss Berry 565. @percyhair thanks for the chop.”

Although Cheryl often experiments with lots of natural colours in her hair, we reckon this is a favourite and will be flying off the shelves now that she’s given her secret away!

Has Cheryl's new '70's do almost tempted you to go for the chop…?

Khloé Kardashian has unveiled her brand new hairstyle on Instagram and she is KILLING it!

Opting away from the ombre style she has been sporting for the last few months, the reality TV star has gone fully blonde.

Khloé shared a photo of her new look with fans on Instagram, writing: “I’m in love with my blonde hair!!! @traceycunningham1 you killed it with this colour!!!”

We have to admit, the deep blonde colour looks absolutely fabulous on Khloé – we wonder how long she’ll keep it for!

Khloé isn't the first member of her famous family to go blonde; Kim also dyed her hair shortly after the birth of daughter, North while Kylie was also seen experimenting with a blonde wig not so long ago.

Expect to see women everywhere sporting shorter locks from hereon in, because Kim Kardashian has just unveiled her new bob!

Indeed, while little sister Kylie took to her social media channels last night to share a snap of her new ‘dreads’, Kim later debuted a sleek and chic new look on her own Instagram account.

Posing for her followers, the reality star shared a stunning snap of herself, with the caption simply reading: “I cut my hair short today”.

Suddenly we feel a trip to the hairdresser may be in order…

The snap of fresh-faced Kim is a very welcome sight, after leaked photos of her full-frontal nude photo shoot for LOVE magazine did the rounds online earlier this week.

The star set tongues wagging once more when the shot of her posing, completely naked except for an open coat, and covered in oil hit the internet.

There is no doubt that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star really is out to ‘break the internet’ following that Paper magazine shoot!

We’re loving Kim’s new look. Are you tempted to follow suit?

Can you imagine getting into the shower every day and NOT rinsing your hair through with a lovely smelling shampoo? Neither can we but it is becoming more common as increasing numbers of women (and men, of course!) are leaving the shampoo and conditioner behind.

As many of us become aware of what we are putting in and on our bodies, more and more people are turning away from traditional hair care products, opting instead for more natural alternatives, or simply just water!

So, what happens when you leave shampoo and conditioner behind? Is your hair a massive, smelly ball of grease like you imagine it would be? As it turns out, that couldn’t be further from the truth…

From checking out bloggers that have quit shampoo, like the Hairpin, the friskyLittleOwlCrunchyMomma, Treehugger and loads more, it looks like while your hair may go through a period of ‘greasiness’ as it gets used to be being product free, once the PH balances itself, it becomes strong and healthy.

It would appear that once the natural oils of your hair take hold once and for all, your hair becomes softer, more manageable and a lot less frizzy.

Many of those who do not use shampoo instead use a mixture of baking soda and cider vinegar, though many opt just for water too.

Would you forego your shampoo routine and try the natural way? We’re intrigued!

Many of us lust for long, shiny and manageable hair – but it’s not always easy to get or to maintain.

Elements like the weather, what products you use and your environment can all impact your hair. Here are some natural remedies for whatever your hair issue may be!

For…dry hair
Try: Olive oil

So it’s not going to be clean or easy, but look on the bright side, we could have said mayonnaise. Brush out your hair and pour some olive oil into your palms and rub throughout your hair. If the bottom of your hair needs more attention, concentrate there. Afterwards, wrap your head in a flannel scarf or towel and leave overnight.

For…dull hair
Try: Apple cider vinegar

Apple cider vinegar will not only give your hair great shine but will also encourage growth and will smoothen your hair’s cuticles. In a spray bottle mix half vinegar with half water and spray throughout your hair. Use the spray in between shampooing and conditioning and leave for 5-6 mins before moving onto your next step.

For…hair that won’t grow
Try: Egg whites

Crack some eggs into a bowl, using only the egg whites and combine lightly. Apply as a hair mask and watch your tresses get stronger and longer.

For…split ends
Try: Vitamin E capsules

For split ends in between cuts, simply break open some Vit E capsules and apply to the ends of your hair.

For…frizzy hair
Try: Avocado

Avocado has great essential fats for healthy skin, nails and hair when we eat it– but it works a treat applied to hair also! For frizzy hair, apply mashed avocado throughout your hair and leave for an hour or so. Then shampoo and condition as normal. The oil in the avocado will add moisture to your hair and reduce frizz levels.

Yesterday, we showed you some simple and easy hairstyle hacks for long hair, but fear not short-haired ladies – we haven't forgotten you!

If you think there is less you can do with your hair just because it is short, think again!

Here are some simple and easy hairstyles you can easily do before work or college that will look cute and stylish.

1. The fringe plait
This doesn't necessarily have to be a fish-tail braid like the one seen here on Carey Mulligan. To make things faster and easier – just do a regular plait! Plait your fringe along your hairline and back, gathering more hair as you go. When you've reached as far as you like, simply pin in place with a bobby pin and place some hair over the bobby pin. Done!

2. The cute mohawk
If you have a pixie cut, it looks super cute to make some messy gather it and make a simple and trendy mohawk-ish 'do. Yes, you will need a lot of hairspray, but the name of the game is mess, so play with it a little!

3. The pop of colour
If you're not good with messing with bobbin, bobby pins and accessories – why not try putting a pop of colour in your hair? It is bound to be super trendy (unless you accidentally put in a purple rinse that is) and many of them are not permanent.

4. The curled short bob
If you're stuck for time why not make like Taylor Swift and grab the curling tongs for a few moments. In no time at all you can create soft waves, like Taylor's before. Grab larger pieces of hair and wrap them around the tongs for a few moments until you're done.

5. The high ponytail
Kelly Osbourne proves the high ponytail isn't just for those with long hair as she ties hers up in this cute pic. Simply gather your hair at the top of your head and secure with a bobbin. Cute and simple!

It can be easy to get stuck in a hair rut, but there are plenty of easy and stunning hairstyles you can do before you rush out the door in the morning – we’ve just forgotten about them!

Up your hair game with these cute and simple hairstyles.

1. The ballerina bun
This is so much easier than it seems. Simply turn your head upside down (stay with us here!), gather your hair into a high ponytail and secure with a hair bobbin. Then, twist the ponytail around itself until it resembles Lauren's bun and simply secure with bobby pins. See, we told you it was easy!

2. The cutesy pigtails
No, not just for five-year-olds – you can totally rock these pigtails too, missy! These are pretty self-explanatory, divide your hair evenly and secure with bobbins. You could also experiment with plaits or even fish tail if you have time!

3. The high ponytail
Make like Ariana Grande and gain a couple of inches with the high ponytail. If you don't have long luscious locks like Ariana, we have a hack so you can fake it. Get your hair into a half ponytail, leaving the bottom half of your hair free. When it is secure, go to the bottom half and tie that into a ponytail directly underneath the top one. Then pull the top one over and no one will know the difference!

4. The side plait
While the fishtail braid may be all the rage at the moment, it takes time you just may not have. Never underestimate the simplicity of the regular plait, and bringing it to the side adds an element of glamour too.

5. The half bun
This is the perfect lazy Sunday brunch hair. Still down, but out of your face – our kind of hair! Simply create a half ponytail and then twist it into a bun and secure with bobby pins.

We hope Selena Gomez’s new hair is here to stay because it is absolutely stunning! The Heart Wants What It Wants singer was spotted with a head full of gorgeous curls recently and even shared a photo on Instagram with her followers.

Although Selena hasn’t said if her new look is for a music video or shoot, we really hope it’s here to stay because we LOVE it!

Selena’s new look comes just a day after rumours circulated that she threw a grade one hissy fit at Taylor Swift’s star-studded birthday bash in New York last week. The singer was said to have gotten very upset about her ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber and screamed: “No one understands me! My boyfriend doesn’t even understand me!”

Despite the rumours and the fact that she may not be feeling very good about her love life at the moment – she's certainly keeping her spirits up! After all, does anything cure heartache quite like a brand new haircut (and ice-cream)?

Some girls were fortunate enough to be born with a head of thick hair which they can curl, straighten and play with to their heart’s content.

Many of the rest of us, however, were not blessed in this department and have spent more time than we ever thought possible fantasising about having a mane of hair that makes heads turn on the daily.

If you’ve resigned yourself to the notion that you will never have a head of enviable hair, then now is the time to wise-up and realise that thick luscious locks are definitely within your reach!

All you need to do is school yourself on these DIY tips and tricks!

DIY Trick #1

Don’t wash your hair too frequently!

Each time we wash our hair, we damage our hair’s natural nutrients which makes our barnet weak and brittle. So this is something we definitely need to avoid on our quest for thick, luscious locks!

DIY Trick #2

Beat one or two eggs, apply it to wet hair, allow it to settle for approximately 30 minutes and then wash it out with shampoo and warm water.

This protein treatment can be applied once a week and will promote strong, thick hair growth!

DIY Trick #3

Apply Aloe Vera gel to your scalp and allow it to sit for 30 minutes before washing out with warm water.

This treatment can be carried out once or twice a week and the moisturising quality of the aloe vera will have a fantastic effect on your scalp which will, in turn, lead to stronger, thicker hair.

DIY Trick #4

Apply an avocado hair mask once a week by mixing one mashed avocado with a tablespoon of olive oil and allowing it to sit on your hair for approximately 30 minutes, before rinsing it out and shampooing.

The vitamin E in the avocado has a positive overall effect on the hair shaft which is exactly what we want, right?

DIY Trick #5

Step away from the straightener, ladies!

We know how damaging these appliances can be, so if you’re serious about strengthening your hair then it’s vital you minimise your use of these tools. Sorry girls, but that’s the bottom line!

Hoping to wake up with long, thick locks isn’t enough. We really need to be proactive about our hair care if we truly want a bangin' barnet!

These five tips will do wonders for the overall health of your hair, so why not try one today!
