After watching The Graham Norton Show last weekend, we all understood just how important Zayn Malik’s hair is to his fans after Graham showed some tweets relating to the pop star’s ‘strand'.

Although Zayn has been sporting long hair for quite a while now, Twitter erupted once again when the star was seen wearing it down in a curtain style again, rather than the swept back do' complete with a manbun he had been wearing.

Many of Zayn's fans don't like the star with long hair, while others have been defending it to the last (strand). When we said strong reactions, we meant it…

It seems Zayn has the 'curtain look' of the decade, but we'll never forget who first rocked the look…We love you Nick Carter!

Kaley Cuoco has reminded us once again just why we love her so much! This time, a hilarious before and after photo on Instagram reminded us that celebrities are just like us in the mornings, rejoice!

While Kaley looks stunning fresh-faced or on the red carpet, she took the time to remind her followers that she has a team to help her out, writing: “Thank god for my team” on the photo’s caption.

We can't imagine many other celebrities being able to laugh at themselves in this way and pull faces like Kaley, which is why it is so refreshing.

If you love her make-up look, her make-up artist, Jamie Greenberg records the day Kaley got her star on the walk of fame recently.

Jamie chats about the make-up she likes to use on Kaley as well as her hair before they hit the red carpet to get Kaley her star.

Zosia Mamet shocked us all when she chopped her long brown hair right up to her chin and then later dyed it blonde.

Now, the Girls star seems to be attempting to give us a heart attack altogether as she unveiled her new GREY hair at the premier of A Most Violent Year in New York last night.

The new colour appeared to have some purple undertones and while we wanted to love it, we just didn’t. That’s not to say grey can’t work as a dyed hair colour, but it tends to have more of an impact on slightly longer hair.

That said Zosia rarely gets it wrong so we’ll let her have it this time! It's fun to experiment with lots of different hair colours and styles after all!

We're also 100% sure Shoshanna would HATE it.

We devote a lot of time to the hair on our head, right?

We curl it, straighten it, condition it, day in, day out, but it looks like we’ve been concentrating on the wrong hair if this latest craze is anything to go by.

Women have recently been taking to social media in their droves to flaunt their fabulously flamboyant underarms and it’s been getting a very mixed response!

Girls from the pro- body hair camp have dyed their underarm hair in an array of colours and, as a result, have had to face many negative comments including ‘Feminists are gross’. Charming.

But, thankfully, more open-minded individuals have backed these ladies, saying: “Finally! I thought I was the only one!”

Whether you’re for it or against it, you have to admit that a splash of colour on a winter’s morning is always welcome!

If you are ever looking for inspiration for cutting your hair, Lauren Conrad is your woman.

The star, who has always been known for those signature long blonde locks, has unveiled her stunning new bob in its full glory.

The fashion mogul teased us all last week as she posted a photo of herself holding a scissors to her hair, but saved the big reveal for a cute outfit post on her website.

We have to say, Lauren is the poster girl for the blonde bob. Gorgeous!

It seems the former star of The Hills was waiting until after her wedding to William Tell to begin her makeover, with the fashionista photo blogging her gradual move to shorter locks over recent weeks.

So what do you all think of it? Are you as in love as we are?

Pass the scissors!

Hmm, we’re not so sure about Sarah’s new look – we loved her hair darker.

Then again, if she loves it that’s all that matters!

As much as we’d all like to tumble out of bed with enviable locks, the majority of us need a little (or in some cases, a lot) of extra assistance.

You’d be hard pressed to find a girl who doesn’t rely on a hair dryer, straightener or curler on a daily basis and let’s face it, many of us are the proud owners of all three.

But do we really know the rules for heat styling our hair? Considering the damage these appliances can do to our poor barnet, it’s high time we schooled ourselves on exactly what to do when it comes to our luscious locks.

Give your hair a break
Remember to give your hair a couple of off-days every week. As tempting as it is to run the straightener over your hair every morning, try not to! Professionals recommend your let your hair dry naturally once or twice a week and strongly advise we limit our straightening days to once or twice a week as well.

Don’t panic! Loads of chic looks, perfect for work or college, don’t require a straightener anyway and when you do indulge in some straightening, your hair will look all the sleeker for the time away from the heat!

Use heat protectant products
Many of us mistakenly believe that these products are little more than water and do absolutely nothing, but that’s simply not true, ladies. These products are designed to add moisture to your hair, something which rapidly evaporates the moment you apply a heated appliance to it. The products also form a protective barrier over the hair cuticle which helps to avoid that singed or brittle look many of us experience.

Why not try an experiment if you're still not convinced. Go protectant-free for one week if you dare, and the following week apply the sprays, serum or balms you've been recommended. See the difference? Yeah, we thought so!

Use the right sized appliance and accessories
If you have fine hair, then you need only use a 1’ straightener, but if your hair is thick and long then investing in a 1 ½’ appliance will make the world of difference and reduce your styling time. Also, be sure to use the nozzle on your hair dryer. This directs the heats and if done well, can reduce your straightening- time afterwards! Blasting your hair with a nozzle-free hair dryer will result in over drying and lead to a dry, frazzled look.

Yeah, think Harry from Dumb&Dumber for that one. Not quite what you're going for when the rest of you is bang on trend, right?

We have all come to rely so heavily on these appliances that using them as part of our daily beauty regime is just second nature, but you’d be surprised at how much you can do with your hair without plugging in a single tool. Plaits, high ponytails and messy buns never go out of style, so give your hair a break without sacrificing your bangin' look.

We’ve all gotten bored of our current hairstyle and thought a change of fringe would make the world of difference and we’re right it does, but not always in the best way!

Before rushing out to update your look with a fringe upheaval, have a quick read through our guidelines to ensure your new bangs get people talking…for all the RIGHT reasons.

The easiest way to figure out the perfect fringe for you is to determine your face shape, so read on, girls!

Oval
Girls with oval-shaped faces are fortunate because they can rock pretty much any type of fringe. Some people have all the luck! The important thing to remember in this case is to match your fringe to your hairstyle, but a long thick fringe is considered most flattering.

Round
Girls who have naturally round-shaped faces, like Mila Kinus and Christina Ricci, are advised to stick to wispy or long side-swept fringes as they will elongate the face and give the illusion of a more oval-shaped face.

Square
A- listers like Angelina Jolie and Demi Moore are known for their strong angles, so you're in good company! Softening a square-shaped face is easily done with a long side-swept fringe. This type of fringe will perfectly balance out hard edges and the lack of curve in the face shape. Sorted!

Heart-shaped
Heart-shaped faces are best suited to fringes with long layers that frame the face or a blunt fringe across the eyebrows. Think Taylor Swift or Lea Michele for this one.

Anyone can wear a fringe, it's just a case of doing your homework before you make the plunge! However, if you're currently suffering through a major fringe mishap, remember the wise words our friend Jenny of Sabrina the Teenage Witch fame taught us: "Hair grows. Hair grows. Hair GROWS!"

Ah, the wisdom.

It has been a difficult few months for her, and it looks as though Tallulah Willis is keen to move on and put her troubles behind her.

The 20-year-old, who is the daughter of Bruce Willis and Demi Moore, unveiled a drastic new image this week.

Tallulah, who recently completed a stint in rehab for substance abuse and personal issues, took to Instagram to show off her pastel blue cropped hairdo.

According to her caption, Tallulah headed to celebrity haunt the Andy Lecompte Salon for her new locks, writing: “Weeny bit shorter, tinge blueishpurp, thank you @majormoonn”.

Tallulah has previously spoken openly about her struggles, admitting that she has been living with an eating disorder and body dysmorphia.

She appears to be doing well since finishing up her treatment in the summer however, with big sister Rumer telling People: “I’ve actually been so impressed and blown away by her strength and her openness and willingness.”

What do you think of her new ‘do?

Yikes, Kylie Jenner is only 17 but she’s already going grey!

Yes, it looks as though the reality star has gone to rather extreme measures to stop everybody from talking about the size of her lips, by dying her hair an outrageous new shade of grey.

Kylie unveiled her look on her Instagram account last night, sharing a full photo of her freshly-dyed tresses, as well as showing it off in another trick-or-treating snap with mum Kris.

Of course, Kylie is well-known for experimenting with funky new hairstyles and colours.

The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star had recently been rocking a pretty blue dip-dye, but it looks like she decided to change things up for the festive season that’s in it.

We think it looks really cool. Do you agree?

Now, it seems she has caught the bob bug and taken her newly shortened hair even shorter than before!

Kristin Ess, Lauren’s hairdresser, took a snap of the star’s newly cut hair and wrote: “On set today and giving this cutie some catnip and a hair flip.”
