What has happened to our favourite  blonde Australian bombshell?

Margot Robbie appeared on the red carpet for the Oscars last night with a drastically different look.

The young actress has dyed her hair dark brown as well as wearing very dark, gothic inspired make-up.

We’re not too sure about this – perhaps if the new look had been matched with a brighter coloured dress it could have been carried off a bit better that it was.

The dark hair, dark make-up and black dress make it all a bit much unfortunately. What do you think?

Harry Potter veteran Daniel Radcliffe appeared at the WhatsOnStage Awards modeling shoulder-length extensions.

The new ‘do’ is for his role in new movie Frankenstein, but still – does he really have to wear it like that all the time?

Frankenstein also stars James McAvoy in the title role, with Daniel playing the role of Igor.

What do you think of his hair? Does it look good or should he have worn a hat?

After a mishap with a Brazilian blow dry, Jennifer Aniston had to chop off her long locks into a cropped style.

However, the We’re The Millers star was not happy with her new look because she felt like it made her “look older”.

Our favourite Friends star believes long locks make her “look younger” so she spent five hours getting perfectly matched hair sealed to her head to get back her famous long style.

The actress, who is engaged to Justin Theroux, regretted her decision to cut her hair pretty soon after she had it done.

According to sources: “Jen had been complaining to friends that she didn’t like the short hairdo… she thought she wanted a drastic change, but felt it wasn’t the right look for her. Instead of just growing her hair out, Jen opted to have hair extensions put back in, which she has utilised in the past.”

Jen’s stylist, Chris McMillan, says it took so long because he wanted it to “look chewed off and lived in.” He added: “It was a spontaneous decision, even though she had kind of been thinking about it for a while.”

We’re loving the new do, Jen!

We all know just how awful a bad hair day is – it can ruin your mood and all you want to do is go back to bed and cover your head until it’s better.

Follow these top tips and you’ll never have a bad hair day again…

Moisturise
This is the best way to stop your hair becoming frizzing and lifeless, especially if you use a lot of styling products.

Don’t wash your hair too much
Washing too often can rip your hair of its essential oils. So, unless absolutely necessary, only wash your hair every second day.

Wear a hat
Seriously! A hat can protect your hair from the harsh elements so pop one on whenever you go outside.

Give your hair a detox
Drink plenty of water, cut back on caffeine, eat foods rich in iron and zinc and take supplements. Your hair will thank you for it.

If all fails, tie it in a pony tail and pop on a fancy hairband – tomorrow will be a better day.

Dry shampoo is definitely a contender for being the best invention since sliced bread. It has become every girl’s BFF and is most likely in your handbag right now.

Unfortunately, while it has become a hero in hair emergencies, there is a knack to using it and not every girl has mastered it.

Follow these easy steps to give your hair life without leaving random grey patches.

  • Pick a brand that is close to your hair colour, especially if it is dark
  • Brush all the tangles out of your hair.
  • Hold the can about 15 cm away from your hair focusing on the roots.
  • Use continuous spraying rather than spritz.
  • Don’t rub it in.
  • Leave it to settle – about five minutes.
  • Brush through your hair again.
  • A few drops of essential oil at your tips will leave you smelling like you just jumped out of the shower.

Ta-da!

Remember, dry shampoo is not a replacement for washing your hair…

Ok, not all her hair, but the vast majority of it.

It’s a well-known fact that women who go through break-ups often go for drastic changes in their look, so is this Vanessa’s reaction to the rumours of ex-partner Johnny Depp’s engagement to Amber Heard?

Vanessa and Johnny were in a relationship for over 14 years and have two children together, Lily Rose and Jack. The kids were seen on holiday with Depp and his rumoured fiancée last year.

We’re not so sure that we prefer Vanessa’s hair this way, but hair grows and if it made her feel good that is all that matters!

A side bun is a great, low-maintenance hairstyle you can use for the next family wedding.

Many women think they need a hairdresser for a chic up-do, but you can quite easily recreate this style at home.

Grab yourself a hair doughnut and follow these simple tips:

  1. Make sure your hair is completely knot free by giving it a good brush.
  2. If you have flat hair, spritz some dry shampoo to the roots to give it added volume.
  3. Pull you hair over the side that you want your bun on.
  4. Tie the hair into a pony.
  5. Feed the entire ponytail through the doughnut and roll the hair around the piece until it is in a bun shape. It’s going to look slightly messy, but don’t worry.
  6. Secure the bun with a thin band, bobby pins and hair spray.

Have a go and see just how simple it is.
