Vogue Wiliams has always been high on our style watch. Her hair, make-up and clothes are always totally drool-worthy, and her Instagram account gives us some serious inspo.

We've been used to seeing the blonde beauty with long, swinging locks, but now the TV star has gone for the chop… and it's absolutely gorgeous.

After having to bow out of The Jump due to an injury, Vogue has decided to change up her look and debuted the style on IG earlier today.

When @glamfeeney decides to take out my extensions, dye my hair and give me the chop! Love living with the dream hairdresser

A photo posted by voguewilliams (@voguewilliams) on

She captioned the photo: "When @Glamfeeney decides to take out my extensions, dye my hair and give me the chop! Love living with the dream hairdresser."

If we could have our hair done like this, we'd love to live with a hairdresser too!

To be fair though, the girl can suit any look!

While Valentine's Day may be for couples, DIY hair hacks are all-inclusive.

For the month that's in it, we're loving the heart bun, a hair creation inspired by the romantic season and shared by beauty mega-mogul Huda Beauty.

Pic: Sherry Maldonado

The look was created by model and influencer Sherry Maldonado, who shared it to her 740,000 followers before the hairstyle was regrammed by Huda, so it's become seriously popular.

The DIY 'do is perfect for those of us who love the hun bun, but lets face it, sometimes you need to spice up your life.

Sherry starts by customising her trusty hair doughnut by creating a heart shape with three elastics.

By making the doughnut in the shape of a heart, all you have to do is pull your hair through the doughnut and secure the bun as you usually would, so it's as easy as our favourite hangover hair style.

Tuck any excess hair underneath the hair doughnut with bobby pins and voila, the heart shaped bun is complete.

The influencer also showcases how to do this look in a half up, half down style, which would look amazing on a Valentine's night out.

So at least if love isn't in the air, it will be in your hair. Sort of.

Ah, dry shampoo; a true friend to all women out there who can't be bothered washing their hair every day.

We recently discovered a delightful new brand of dry shampoo, that you can customise to match your hair colour.

Created by two women in need of a better dry shampoo, Stranded is tinted to match blondes, brunettes and redheads.

Using nothing but ingredients found in nature, Stranded contains powders that match to individual hair shades, and we're in love.

To make things even better, the ingredients are also vegan-friendly, and sulfate- and paraben-free… SOLD.

A bottle of this dry shampoo will set you back $26, which is pretty OK by us.

Apart from her occasional hair changes for fashion campaigns and runway shows, Gigi Hadid has predominantly been a blondie.

She's sported every tone, from ash to Barbie blonde, but her latest hue is totally out of the box.

And we LOVE it.

Taking to Instagram earlier, the beauty showed off her rose gold/blorange hair and we're literally swooning.

Along with the colour, Gigi also had a fringe chopped in, which gives the entire look a bit of an edge.

Calling all hairdressers… all we want is blorange hair now.

To be honest, most of us still think we're living in a different dimension now that Donald Trump is President of the United States.

While he doesn't have a particularly political background, he ran his campaign on the premise that he's a self-made millionaire with financial stability.

However, his daughter Tiffany – partly famous for her eye-catching snaps on the Rich Kids of Instagram – has come under fire for wanting her hairstylist to do her hair for nothing. Completely free. Zilch.

Well, actually, not zilch… instead, Tiffany and her mother offered to give the hairstylist "exposure" on social media.

The stylist, Tricia Kelly, spoke to The Washington Post about the entire ordeal, admitting she was 'stunned': "I told them… I work for a fee, not for free."

According to Tricia, Tiffany and Donald's second wife, Marla Maples, initially hired her for the inauguration, and after a few rounds of trial-runs and back-and-forth negotiations, the two sides settled on a $200 fee.

When the women both refused to pay, Tricia received a message from one of Marla's representatives, telling her: "You are messing with the President of the United States," and "Tiffany is used to a certain lifestyle, and you don't understand that."

Needless to say, Tricia turned down the offer.

OK, we appreciate that Halloween is months away, and we may not really need to dress up as a unicorn until then.

HOWEVER, we really felt that this amazing hair tutorial was too good to ignore.

The wonderful people behind the YouTube channel Turnt Beauty recently posted a fabulous hair tutorial, which shows viewers how to achieve unicorn hair.

We're not talking about that classic pastel dye-job that we love, we're talking a full-on UNICORN HORN and everything!

The model gets her hair dyed and up-styled in the most amazing way ever, and the results are magical.

Our ONLY suggestion would be to maybe splash some glitter onto the hair, you know yourself.

Other than that though, this hair is FLAWLESS.

There comes a time in every girl's life when they want to change up their hair do'.

Cut it short, dye it a totally different colour, get extensions – there's so many things we can do these days, but the real struggle comes when we want to grow a hair dye out.

Then comes the horrid roots we all hate, and a phase of general dishevelment.

And it looks like Miley Cyrus is no different when it comes to this time of change.

The singer shared a photo on Instagram of her dark roots and peroxide ends which look all too familiar.

Her brunette hair is nearly down to her cheekbones!

We can't wait to see her back natural, though. No doubt she'll look just as gorgeous. (Also, how fab is her engagement ring?!).

Hair, hair and MORE HAIR.

We love a snazzy new hair trend more than anyone, and this latest one is beyond sensational.

Imagine unicorn-esque hair, but with much softer shades,  that is designed to resemble an opal stone.

Can you even cope?

Many of these beautiful shades look almost white, until the light hits it in a certain way, exposing beautiful pinkish hues.

We reckon this hair trend will be EXTREMELY popular during the summer, so keep an eye out for it!

It is exactly what you think it is: hair that is the same colour as your your favourite pair of jeans.

The look combines gorgeous shades of blue, silver and grey in order to create the amazing denim-effect.

Denim hair can be achieved in many different ways, depending how intense or subtle you want the colour.

This is a serious 10/10, in our opinion.

Once the exclusive territory of 'Dublin girlos' with hoop earrings and spice bags and teenagers stressing over the Leaving Cert, the 'hun bun' is being resurrected as one of this years hottest hairstyles.

Whether you're heading to the gym, doing the weekly shop, or even hitting the town for a night out, the hun bun can be a saving grace when you just don't know what to do with your 'do.

It's also a savior for two or three day old hair that needs a wash but you just can't bring yourself to wield the blow dryer.

One spritz of dry shampoo and a hun bun later, and everyone's none the wiser.

A photo posted by allison (@saoirsercnan) on

Superstar Irish actress Saoirse Ronan paid homage to the hun within and opted for a tousled hun bun at the Screen Actor's Guild Awards earlier this year.

The slightly deconstructed bun looked like it was twisted atop her head without a second thought (though we're sure there was a glam squad involved) and it's this casual, laissez-faire style effect that makes the hun bun so popular.

All you need to achieve the look is a hair tie, bobby pins and a spritz of finishing spray, if you're feeling fancy.

Hungover hair has never been so stylish.

You'd almost feel a great big whack of empathy for the celebrities of yesteryear: after all, they did NOT have all the advantages of nifty hair gadgets, advanced hair products, and – most significantly – hair extensions that famous faces today can rely on.

Case in point: L'Oreal ambassador and all-round totally gorgeous gal Cheryl Cole – who once sported cornrows (hello, 2002) in a bid to jazz up her tresses.

Nuff said.

However, and while extensions have certainly in more recent times been championed by a host of red-carpet connoisseurs, small and big screen stars, and catwalk queens, adding to your own strands is now increasingly commonplace for us normal folk too.

In fact, one recent survey in the UK revealed that an astonishing one in three women – from all walks of life – currently wears extensions.

A video posted by Gold Fever Italia (@goldfeveritalia) on

Yes, Britney Spears, Paris Hilton, and Katie Price once gave them a seriously bad name, but there's no doubt that the hair extensions available right now are a practically flawless addition to what nature already bestowed on you.

A whack of celebrities opt for Gold Fever – mainly because it's seemingly as close to your own real hair as extensions come. That and it's ethically-sourced and fans of the brand swear that it doesn't cause any damage to their own precious tresses.

A photo posted by Georgia Penna (@georgiapenna) on

The current crop of fans include the likes of models Georgia Salpa and Rosanna Davison; actress Michelle Keegan; Cocoa Brown's Marissa Carter, Made In Chelsea's Lucy Watson and Nicola Hughes; Celebrity Big Brother's Danielle Lloyd; and singers Una Healy, Tallia Storm, and Louisa Johnson.

But with prices for a set – which should last six months – ranging from a couple of hundred euro up to €1,000 for more complex transformations, is it money well spent?

Well, if the before-and-after snaps of Average Josephines in salon chairs up and down the country are anything to go by, the answer is a resounding 'yes!'.

Online reviews from bloggers and influencers are suitably gushing too.

"I have the flattest, straightest, most lank hair you can imagine, so I just love the volume and fullness the Gold Fever Hair Extensions give me," writes The Style Fairy, aka Naomi Clarke.

A photo posted by Rosanna Davison (@rosanna_davison) on

"Even though I have a serious amount of hair, styling is very easy. It takes me about 10 minutes to curl my hair and about 15 to dry it," highlights The Beautiful Truth – Sinead Kavanagh.

"The results as you can see are nothing short of beautiful," states Kellie B Beautiful, aka Kellie Billings, adding: "It has definitely given me a little confident boost."

Yup, clearly things have come a LONG way since Paris and Nicole first rocked super-long and lanky locks on The Simple Life – and there's no doubt that (unlike Cheryl's cornrows) hair extensions is one trend that's here to stay.
