Whether you're a Harry Potter fan or not, you'll totally fan-girl over this engagement ring.

Fans can pretty much get their hands on any little bit of HP merchandise these days, but looking at those diamonds, this is our favourite piece of all (diamonds are a girl's best friend, right?).

Sapphire Studios Design has created an engagement ring to resemble the Golden Snitch, and they certainly put a lot of work into it.

Drenched in diamonds, the sparkler comes in gold, rose gold, white gold and silver, so you have a lot to choose from.

The range starts off at €500 and goes up to about €750.

We think it's time to start throwing out those hints, ladies.

You know that saying "green with envy"?

Well I am currently as green as your man from the corn ad… all because of this story.

Imgur user Destiny Blue recently coughed up $260 to have a magical Christmas dinner… in HOGWARTS GREAT HALL.

I can't right now…

Well technically it was really the Great Hall set at the Harry Potter studio tour in London, but who cares.

Thankfully, Destiny decided to share her experience with us all, via the wonderful world of social media.

The lucky lady shared over 30 pictures from her magical dining experience, and seriously… it looks amazing.

Did I forget to mention that all attendees got wands?

The jealousy is too real!

While all of the Harry Potter films are filled with examples of joy, turmoil and triumph, we all have a favourite moment.

JK Rowling has just revealed her favourite HP moment in a Twitter exchange with Lin-Manuel Miranda, the theatre genius behind Hamilton.

The actor tweeted at the author, saying that his favourite moment from Harry Potter takes place in the sixth film, when Harry and Dumbledore seek out and destroy one of Voldemort's horcruxes.

The moment is a mark of the complete faith Dumbledore has in Harry, as he relies on the 16-year-old to get them both safely back to Hogwarts after the headmaster is greatly weakened by Voldemort's potion which once contained the horcrux.

When Harry promises he will get Dumbledore back home, the weakened wizard replies with a touching answer: “I am not worried, Harry. I am with you.”

The author responded, sharing with her fans that this was also her favourite moment, and that she felt that the Half Blood Prince was overshadowed by the Deathly Hollows book.

"This moment is one of my favourites," she tweeted.

Harry Potter fans have been loving the author's choice, and sharing their own favourite HP moments on social media.

How cool would having an invisibility clock be?

Not that we'd be defeating dark lords or anything… but we could totally get up to loads of mischief with it. Or on the other hand, we could hide with it.

Don't want to do the dishes? Invisibility cloak. Don't want your mam asking you a million questions about your new boyf? Invisibility cloak. It could work!

That's why a few Youtubers wondered if this cloak is actually possible to make in real life. And the answer? Yes… maybe.

In a video named What Would It Take To Make A True Invisibility Cloak?, scientists think that it is possible, but it'll be mighty difficult to change the way lightwaves work.

The video begins by saying: "Believe it or not, scientists are getting kind of close to making these dreams come true.

"The key is distorting the way light bounces off an object. We're able to see things when light reaches our eyes. If we want to hide this apple, we just have to change the way that the light gets scattered off of it's surface."

It then gets super technical, which our morning brains can't handle, but still, you never know…

Bridget Jones and Harry Potter are two of our favourite movies, but this little bit of information totally passed us by!

We've watched these films time and time again and are only realising now that Bridget Jones' parents, played by Gemma Jones and Jim Broadbent are also mystical wizards.

Gemma starred in three of the eight HP films – The Chamber of Secrets, The Half-Blood Prince and The Deathly Hallows Part II.

Do you remember her? She was Madam Pomfry, the Hogwarts nurse.

Meanwhile, Jim played the role of Professor Slughorn in The Half-Blood Prince and The Deathly Hallows Part II.

Oh, and the crossovers don't stop there. Moaning Myrtle, played by actress Shirley Henderson, was Bridget's BFF, June, in the three BJ films.

GROUNDBREAKING.

We have died and gone to Potter heaven…

For some, heading to the airport is one of the most exciting bits of a holiday… and when you have a Harry Potter shop thrown in, it makes it ten times better.

So, if you're a Potterhead and are heading to London anytime soon, stop into Terminal 5 in Heathrow Airport.

With over 200 pieces of mystical and magical merchandise, it's every wannabe-wizard's fantasy.

The shop came about to celebrate Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Heathrow's Commercial Director Jonathan Coen said of the venture: "We are really pleased to welcome the new Harry Potter shop to Terminal 5.

"Harry Potter is loved across the globe and what better place to enjoy gifts and souvenirs from the Wizarding World before our passengers fly to the other side of the world?

"We hope our customers enjoy everything the new store has to offer as they take a little magic with them," he added.

Tuesdays are known to be a pretty 'meh' day. It's not Monday, so it's not too bad, but it still feels like there's a whole year to go until you reach the weekend again.

So, if you find yourself a bit distracted in work or college today, then head to Amazon to get a giggle.

To celebrate the release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, the shopping mecca has created some spells – on its homepage.

All you need to do is type your fave spell – we tried Lumos and Reducto – and watch the magic words take control of your screen.

Lumos will turn your screen completely black until a tiny ray of light beams through and Reducto will shatter the glass on your screen (not for real, obvz).

It will only work on its US site, so just log into Amazon.com to experience the magic.

Not too shabby for taking a minute out of your work day, huh?

Ah Cara, we always love checking out your new tattoos.

The former Victoria's Secret model's latest piece of ink is a snake, and it's absolutely gorgeous.

Tattoo artist to the stars (and the general public, if you can afford him) Dr Woo completed this piece of art, which is located on Cara's hand.

Another interesting fact about this intricate little snake tattoo is that it was designed by Amber Heard (Johnny Depp's ex).

Amber, who is great friends with Cara, is an artist in her spare time, when she's not acting.

Now this is something we're totally on board with!

JK Rowling has hinted that Dumbledore will be openly gay in the new Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

During the week, director David Yates confirmed that the mighty wizard will be in the upcoming movie, and fans have been going mental to find out who will portray him.

However, JK has implied that young Albus will have a relationship with the dark wizard Gellet Grindelwald, who will be played by Johnny Depp.

In a press conference yesterday, the author said: "I can't tell you everything I would like to say because this is obviously a five-part story so there’s lots to unpack in that relationship.

"You will see Dumbledore as a younger man and quite a troubled man — he wasn't always the sage. We’ll see him at that formative period of his life.

"And as far as his sexuality is concerned … Watch this space."

Yaaas! Slay Dumbledore, slaaay.

When it comes to Harry Potter merchandise, the sky's the limit for some people.

And nowhere was this more evident than during a recent auction which saw a first edition Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone go for a staggering £43,750.

While those in the know at Bonhams Fine Books and Manuscripts Sale estimated the book might go for between £15,000 and £20,000, it exceeded all expectations after a series of what has been described as "intense bidding".

"This was an exceptional price for a much-loved modern classic," senior specialist Simon Roberts said following the astronomical deal.

“The book was in excellent condition which added to its appeal for collectors and I am not surprised that it attracted so much interest and such intense bidding.”

According to reports, the first edition, which hit shelves in June 1997, went to a London-based businessman.
