Seeing what child stars look like these days has become a bit of a trend now… but let's be honest, they all usually turn out to be hotties.

And Dean Thomas from Harry Potter is no different.

Remember Dean? He was sorted into Gryffindor along with the likes of Harry, Ron, Hermione, Nevil and his BFF Seamus.

Look at him now!

Dean was played by Alfie Enoch who now stars in How To Get Away With Murder (who knew he was the same guy?!).

Unfortunately, Alfie seems to not have any form social media (we checked) so these pictures will have to do for now. *Sigh*

Not too shabby, huh?

Over the past year, Harry Potter mania has hit us once again.

Given that The Cursed Child brought on the nostalgia buzz, it's been nearly nine years since the last (proper) book was released and five years since the last film hit cinemas.

However, now there's something more to add to the mania – a concert.

Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone CONCERT is set to debut in the UK really soon.

The Harry Potter Film Concert Series is a full symphony orchestra performing alongside the original score and the first movie. It will kick off in London in May 2017 and then head to Cardiff, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds and Glasgow.

However, this isn't new.

Nope. In fact, it's been touring around the US for a while now. The conductor, Justin Freer, said of the show: it is with great pleasure that we introduce for the first time ever an opportunity to experience the award-winning music scores played live by a symphony orchestra, all while the beloved film is simultaneously projected onto the big screen.

"It will be an unforgettable event," he added.

It's safe to say that the Internet is obsessed with forgotten actors and what they look like now. Nearly every day, a throwback pops up on Twitter and we have to click in to see just how different they look.

And Viktor Krum from Harry Potter is certainly no different.

The Bulgarian Quidditch player stole the heart of Hermione in the Goblet of Fire, but now, he's stealing our hearts.

Viktor's real name is Stanislav Yanevski, and 11 years later, he looks very different:

Reading the Harry Potter books and watching all the movies made us wish we had powers for even the most mundane things.

And if magic was real, we'd all probably use our wands just to get dressed in the morning (I would, anyway).

However, this new creation is something that seems like magic, and I'm not quite sure how it works, but it looks cool AF.

According to Cosmo, AR Designs and its OvRcharge device have made a new creations for charging your phone – and it LEVITATES.

Using magic, a wood charging base and a phone case with an induction receiver and magnet, the invention will allow you to charge your phone without any pain-in-the-ass wires.

The device can also make your phone rotate and when it's all charged up, it'll automatically stop juicing it.

However, as in every Harry Potter story, there's a bad guy and this bad guy comes with news that not all phones will be able to levitate (with the exception of iPhone and Samsung, obvs).

But you know, you can always use Wingardium Leviosa… just like Hermione.

It’s been almost 20 years since JK Rowling first introduced Harry Potter to the world and, sadly, it now seems that the boy wizard’s journey has finally come to an end.

Speaking at the premiere of the new Potter play in London on Saturday night, the best-selling author confirmed that Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will mark the end of Harry’s adventures.

The beloved writer told Reuters: “He goes on a very big journey during these two plays and then, yeah, I think we're done.”

“This is the next generation, you know…so, I'm thrilled to see it realized so beautifully but, no, Harry is done now.”

Earlier this month the creators of the Harry Potter movies Warner Bros generated a host of speculation that The Cursed Child could be headed for the big screen when it was reported that they had submitted a trademark request for any potential film which may come from the play.

However a spokesperson for Rowling later said that there were no plans for a ninth Hogwarts flick and that the trademark application was merely “standard practice”.

For now Potter fans will still be able to experience Harry’s story in new ways as The Cursed Child script has just been released for purchase and the play looks set to run in London’s West End until at least December 2017.

The moment every Hogwarts loving muggle has been waiting for has finally arrived as the trailer for the much anticipated Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them has officially been released.

A teaser for the Hollywood blockbuster was shown at Comic-Con in San Diego this weekend where the film’s director David Yates handed out magic wands to thousands of lucky fans.

He was joined at the convention by Academy Award winner Eddie Redmayne – who will play magizoologist Newt Scamander in the flick – and our very own Colin Farrell, who is set to earn his wand as a character named Graves.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is based on the 2001 book of the same name which JK Rowling wrote under the pseudonym Newt Scamander and while the story does not actively feature the original Harry Potter characters, it does focus on the magical creatures from the Harry Potter series.

The movie is set in New York in 1926 and tracks what happens when a collection of magical creatures are accidently unleashed upon the city.

Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is set for release this November.

The people who brought the wizardly world of Hogwarts to the big screen have sparked a whole lot of speculation that another Potter flick could be on the way as they have reportedly filed a request to trademark the West End play Harry Potter And The Cursed Child.

The two-part play was written by Jack Thorne but is based on a story written by Potter creator JK Rowling, Jack Thorne and a director named John Tiffany.

The stage play is set 19 years after the events of the last Harry Potter novel and documents Harry’s adult life as an employee at the Ministry of Magic and that of his son Albus Severus Potter as he embarks on his own Hogwarts journey.

And now – according to The Telegraph – Warner Bros have submitted a trademark request for a variety of goods and projects related to The Cursed Child including “motion picture films featuring comedy, drama, action, adventure and/or animation, and motion picture films for broadcast on television featuring comedy, drama, action, adventure and/or animation".

However since news of the request broke there’s been a cruel update for Potter fans as the Irish Examiner has reported that a rep for JK Rowling has said there are no plans for the show to be made into a film and that “this type of trademarking is standard practice”.  Nooo!

These comments seem to back up a statement made by the Rowling herself back in February when she tweeted that The Cursed Child is play, not a movie.

So after all that, it looks like you’ll have to head to the West End if you want to find out what Harry does next.

While Harry Potter and the Cursed Child is currently thrilling audiences in London, it looks like it was the cast of the play that got the biggest thrill of the run so far when Emma Watson decided to rock up at the Palace Theatre in the English capital last night.

While die-hard fans had previously questioned the fact Noma Dumezweni – a black actress – would be playing the adult Hermione on stage, Emma Watson happily gave the award-winning actress her seal of approval, and yes in spite of this, they had yet to meet face to face.

Surprising the cast last night, 26-year-old Emma arrived backstage and posed for photos with fellow actors before meeting Noma in one very moving moment,

Emma took to social media to share that moment with fans and followers, writing: "It was SO lovely to meet you" alongside a photo of the pair gazing at each other.

Noma did the same and it sounds like the actress was bowled over by their touching meeting, writing: "Now I feel I can share the maHUSSIVE joy I felt, alongside the company when a beautiful, humble and very kind young lady." (sic)

"It really was quite emotional to be in your company. And Thank you 4 your lovely self," she continued. "We spoke of you with MAJOR respect."

Fans of all things Potter-related fell all over themselves as the posts were uploaded, with one writing: "It's so beautiful to see you together. Thanks for sharing this photo with us. All Potterheads are dying."

The posts have been liked almost 50,000 times since last night.

Margot Robbie, you might want to look away now – Wait, Margot Robbie reads this, right?

She does, of course she does.

Anyway, while Ms. Robbie admits she spent her teen years desperately trying to look like Harry Potter – no, seriously – one girl on Instagram has actually managed it for real.

Annelies Van Overbeek, who bears a striking resemblance to movie icon, Audrey Hepburn, has Instagram enthralled by her incredible transformations, but it's her Harry Potter one that has really caught the public's imagination.

Sharing two snaps of herself as everybody's favourite wizard, Annelies wrote: "And now for something completely different; my second attempt at looking like Harry Potter!"

"I watched The Prisoner of Azkaban yesterday and tonight we're watching The Goblet of Fire! (My fave HP book!)," she added alongside a photo of herself looking remarkably like the young male wizard.

"Don't worry, I didn't forget the scar! Nor did I cut my hair hahah!" she wrote alongside another close-up snap of her impressive transformation.

Let's be honest here, girl's got skills.

If you were a teen in the noughties you’ll remember falling head-over-heels in love with Chad Michael Murray as he played a modern day Prince Charming in A Cinderella Story.

But can you imagine how different our lives would have been if Hilary Duff had spent that film falling in love with Ron Weasley?

As unbelievable as that might seem now, it turns out that very scenario was actually the original plan.

According to Teen Vogue, Harry Potter star Rupert Grint was originally offered the Austin Ames role in the 2004 flick but had to turn it down because of his Hogwarts-based commitments.

So every time you fantasised about Mr Murray reuniting you with your lost mobile phone in the most wonderfully cheesetastic way possible, you could have been dreaming about Harry Potter’s right hand man.

Minds officially blown.

Margot Robbie is an absolute stunner, and – we'll be honest here – we might even hate her if she wasn't so damn sound.

And yet in spite of her head-turning Hollywood looks, poor ol' Margot didn't escape puberty without going through that same uber-awkward phase most of us endured.

While appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live this week, the Wolf of Wall Street actress was forced to take a trip down memory lane, and we gotta say, it's absolutely made our day.

A self-confessed Harry Potter fanatic, Margot gushed over the fact her current director, David Yates, had directed a number of the Hogwarts movies.

Clearly unaware she had walked directly into Jimmy's trap, Margot was forced to recall her less – shall we say – 'polished' days.

With the cheesy grin we all produced when snapped out of nowhere as a teen, Margot looked bloody delighted to be getting her chill on with Harry and the gang, and it's made us love her all the more.

Oh, and the fact she wore glasses when she didn't even NEED them? Margot, take a bow.

Speed up to 1.31 for the golden moment…
