Ah, he was the Irish lad, Seamus Finnegan in Harry Potter who everyone knew and loved – But now, the HP star is being sued by his former agent.

Devon Murray is being sued for €286,000 by Neil Brooks of Neil Brooks Management, Cape Town, South Africa.

The Irish Times claims that Devon, as well as his parents, Michael and Fidelma Murray are being sued for breach of contract with the management company.

However, the family have made a counter claim looking for a return of around €98,000 which they claim was already paid to Neil.

In the documents, Neil says that he was hired to represent Devon in 1998 where it was agreed he was entitled to 12.5%of the actor's film and TV earnings, 15% from his TV ads as well as seven% from theatre work.

But in January 2003, Neil claims that the agreement was changed, so he would receive 15%of Devon's full earnings and 20% of all Harry Potter earnings.

Devon's parents say that the increase in payment was agreed in 2003, yet they negotiated Devon's pay for Harry Potter with Warner Bros. and that had nothing to do with Neil.

One's a billionaire author, and the other's an actress-turned-activist, but underneath it all JK Rowling and Emma Watson are just two women who are 100% supportive of one another.

The pair first crossed paths back in 2001 when Emma was cast as Hermione in the film adaptation of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. And even fifteen years on, they're still in contact – on social media, at least.

Earlier this week Emma and the author shared a seriously lovely interaction via Twitter, which no doubt had Harry Potter fans the world over crying happy tears.

Emma's been focusing her attention on gender equality issues of late, and has been doing amazing work as part of the UN's He For She campaign. On Tuesday she took to social media in honour of International Women's Day, and Ms. Rowling wasn't far behind her.

"News -Twitter has created a Heforshe emoji whaatttttt???!!!" Emma wrote. 

"Type hashtag HeForShe and our logo will automatically appear! #Heforshe #IWD16"

Within minutes JK replied to praise the 25-year-old's work, calling her an "inspirational woman.":

And of course, Emma couldn't resist sharing the love, telling JK, "RIGHT back at you. thank you for everything xx."

Crying? Us? Never.

Let's be honest, we're all Harry Potter nerds at this stage. But if you were one of the first, you could be €49,000 richer.

Abe Books have complied a handy list together which can tell if your book is worth a small fortune.

“If you find one in the attic, then you’ve hit the jackpot. Only 500 were published and 300 went to libraries,” the guide explains.

If the HP book on your shelf has the author credited as Joanne Rowling instead of JK Rolwing, then you might be in luck.

And if there's a print line that reads “10 9 8 7 6 5 4 3 2 1″ then your bank account could be bumped up pretty soon, too.

As HP geeks, it might be hard to part with your first edition book, but for that sum of money, we think we might be able to handle it.

He leaped to fame as Harry Potter's nasty cousin, but the man in real life couldn't be more different.

Harry Melling has stayed in the acting game but he's moved from film to the stage as he debuts a new play Hands To God.

The 26-year-old is taking to London's West End 15 years after he portrayed the part of Dudley Dursley, and many will find it hard to recognise him all grown up.

He appeared on the Lorraine show today, and let's just say fans were shocked with his transformation.

Meanwhile, many have commented on his acting style, with The Evening Standard saying, "Melling, who's turning into one of the most interesting actors of his generation, is wonderful to watch."

Everyone and their mother has been wondering what the hell is up with Kanye West at the moment.

We know he's a super busy guy, trying to juggle a high maintenance wife, two kids, a fashion line and a new album but some of his ramblings on Twitter are majorly OTT.

Not only did he declare that he thinks Bill Crosby is innocent, he also let the world know that he's $53m (€47m) in debt. Ouch.

But one website has put together a stream of his tweets and there seems to be a hidden message in them. And not any old message, no, it's a Harry Potter message.

College Humour has been trying to decipher his hastily written posts and this is what they found:

Yep, it spells out 'I AM LORD VOLDEMORT'. 

Although they aren't in order, the peeps over at College Humour think Kanye has been trying to work his magic on us.

And like he said himself, "name one genius that isn't crazy."

Harry Potter seems to be a never-ending story, but we love it so much that we won't complain.

A new HP book, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Parts I & II will be available to us from 31 July this year. Hurrah!

The book is actually an early script of the play by the same name, which was put together by JK Rowling, Jack Thorne and John Tiffany.

The play is set to debut in London on the same day the book is being released, so there will be Harry Potter parties all around.

The story is set nearly 20 years after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Harry is employed by the Ministry of Magic employee – and is very overworked. As well as that, his son Albus is having problems living up to his name.

Sounds good? We can't wait for it either.

As the election date was selected last week, a flurry of campaign posters happened to magically appear on nearly every lamp post in sight.

But something quite magical indeed was this Harry Potter-themed election poster for Fianna Fáil.

In case you missed Harry Potter (where have you been??), that's supposed to be Lord Voldemort and he's using a spell that makes people to lose their memories.

It was created by artist and designer, Morgan Art, and we just think it's brilliant altogether.

Well, just go and rip our hearts right out of our chests, why don't you.

If there's anyone that should be invested in a happy ending for Ron Weasley, it's Rupert Grint, who played him in all seven Harry Potter films.

But speaking at a Warner Bros event recently, Rupert revealed he had a very different idea of poor Ron's fate.

Despite defeating Death Eaters, Dementors and Voldemort himself to be together, Ron and Hermione's relationship just didn't last the distance. At least that's what Rupert thinks.

"I would expect Ron has probably divorced Hermione already. I don’t think that relationship would have done very well," he told the audience during a chat at Universal Studios in Orlando.

"[Ron’s] living on his own, in a little one-bedroom apartment. He hasn’t got a job," Rupert continued.

OUCH. Luckily for Harry Potter fans, Rupert's former co-star Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) interjected, saying, "Don’t say divorced. Say they’ve split up. They can reconcile."

Sadly Emma Watson herself wasn't there to offer her own version of events, but we hope it wouldn't have been quite so bleak as Rupert's one.

If you're a Harry Potter fan (who isn't), then you'll really wish you were at the Universal Orlando Resort right now.

The theme park hosted its third annual Harry Potter weekend celebration, and some of our favourite characters decided to pop by and surprise fans.

And what more could you ask for other than Ron and Ginny Weasley together.

Feeling nostalgic? We're loving this pic.

The actress, Bonnie Wright, shared a snap of the two ginger wizards and captioned it, "Family time."

Earlier in the weekend the HP alum also joined Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom), Katie Leung (Cho Chang) and Evanna Lynch (Luna Lovegood) for a panel that showed their favourite memories from the movies.

Ah, to be a kid and binge watch Harry Potter again.

We think we know all there is to Harry Potter, but once more JK Rowling has revealed a little snippet of information that no one else knew about.

After the HP website, Pottermore released its newest version last week, JK gave us the details that we really wanted, and she didn't disappoint.

Yep, JK revealed that there are other wizarding schools in the world.

Mahoutokoro in Japan, Castelobruxo in Brazil, and Uagadou, in Africa. She also revealed some interesting things about the schools, too.

For instance, students that attend Mahoutokoro are given enchanted robes when they start school, which grow in size with their owners and change colour as they age and increase in skills.

And, Uagadou is the largest of all wizarding schools and welcomes students from all over the continent. Impressive.

Now, what else are you hiding from us Ms Rowling?

Donald Trump's campaign spokeswoman, Katrina Pierson, posted a tweet back in 2012, and in the past few days it has been doing the rounds on social media.

The tweet was brought to JK Rowling's attention yesterday, and she had the most brilliant response.

Katrina's tweet was posted during a CNN debate between Obama and Mitt Romney in 2012, and in it she complains about there not being any "purebred" candidates up for presidency.

"Perfect Obama's dad born in Africa, Mitt Romney's dad born in Mexico. Any pure breeds left?" she posted. 

As we can all clearly see, her tweet was extremely offensive, but when JK saw it, she fired back a flawless Harry Potter reference.

JK shared on Twitter, "Death Eaters walk among us."

What Ms Rowling is referring to is Voldemort's followers who radically believed in the supremacy of pureblood witches and wizards.

Oh, we just love her so much.

In an interview with RTÉ in 2011, Alan Rickman revealed that J.K Rowling had shared a snippet of secret information with him to help better understand his character in the Harry Potter series, Severus Snape. 

And while Rickman may have taken this secret to the grave, J.K Rowling did let her fans in on the context of the information on Twitter yesterday. 

Alan, who passed away last week from cancer, revealed to RTÉ that he understood more about Snape than anyone else while filming the movies. 

"She certainly didn't tell me what the end of the story was going to be in any way at all, so I was having to buy the books along with everybody else to find out.

"She [did] give me one little piece of information, which I always said I would never share with anybody and never have, and never will. It wasn't a plot point, or crucial in any tangible way, but it was crucial to me as a piece of information that made me travel down that road rather than that one or that one or that one."

While J.K Rowling did not give the entire game away, she did reveal what the secret was about. 

When one fan enquired about the secret on social media, the author simply responded: "I told Alan what lies behind the word 'always'."

Nawh!

This word became synonymous with the character of Snape, especially as it was revealed that he would "always" be in love with Harry's mother, Lily as uttered in the last book and film of the series. 

And according to Harry Potter producer, David Heyman, this little tidbit greatly affected the way he portrayed Snape in the films.

"It was quite amusing, too, because there were times when a director would tell Alan what to do in a scene and he would say something like, 'No I can't do that – I know what is going to happen and you don't.' "

We hope the true meaning behind the word always remains a secret.
