Calling all Harry Potter fans!

This year marks the 20th anniversary of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (but of course all you die-hard fans knew that already).

To celebrate the milestone, Bloomsbury is releasing the first book of the series in the four Hogwarts house colours.

The limited editions feature a gorgeous new design complete with a house crest and it's corresponding signature colour.

But that's not all. The books will also include loads of extra content including character profiles and illustrations specific to each house.

You can read a synopsis for the meaning behind the design for each house at Pottermore, and if you're not sure which house to call home, you can let the sorting hat guide you through the process.

The special editions are available to order from bloomsbury.com from tomorrow and they're surprisingly good value.

The paperbacks are going for €8.23 while the hardback version will set you back €15.45.

So, whether you're a Gryffindor, Slytherin (holla), Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, you'll be able to indulge your inner nerd with a custom themed copy of the book that started it all.

Harry Potter fans, listen up!

Universal Studios Hollywood's latest attraction is the most magical thing our muggle eyes have ever seen.

The theme park recently announced a new night-time show at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter and it's every bit as glorious as you imagined it would be.

Dubbed The Night-time Lights at Hogwarts Castle, the new show invites fans to a spectacular light display on the grounds of the school of witchcraft and wizardry.

Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff and Slytherin are all represented as their house colours are projected into the night sky.

The spellbinding light and special effects display will be accompanied by a fantastic musical arrangement from Harry Potter's composer and Academy Award winner, John Williams.

Speaking to The LA Times, the park's senior manager of audio and visual production, Stacey Quinealty said: "We really wanted the guests to have that bone-chilling moment and go, 'Wow, this is something I've never experienced before'. It's really spectacular."

The show will premiere at the theme park on Friday, June 23 and is scheduled to take place several times a night during its run.

Yet another thing to add to our bucket lists.

Do you remember these guys? The Potter Puppet Pals?

Did you and all your mates play the below video while sitting on the local green during summer? And did you all song along and take on the various parts of the puppets?

Of course you did… and now the Potter Puppet Pals are making a comeback.

Hell, yaaaas.

The puppeteering group have announced that they are coming back together for their tenth anniversary, and travelling all the way to Dublin, no less.

As part of LeakyCon this August, the lads will celebrate their anniversary by performing their first ever gig outside of the US.

LeakyCon takes place from August 31 to September 3 and this has just made it ten times more exciting.

The printed and purchasable Harry Potter series is amazing enough, so we can't imagine how powerful and riveting a rare, short-story prequel of the series is.

Such a prequel, handwritten by author J.K. Rowling on a postcard, has been stolen during a burglary in England.

Police are appealing for help from muggles to locate the stolen story.

'The only people who will buy this unique piece are true Harry Potter fans,' said Investigating Officer PC Paul Jauncey.

'We are appealing to anyone who sees, or is offered this item for sale to contact police.'

JK Rowling has also taken to Twitter to ask Harry Potter fans to be on the lookout for the 800-word story, which is set three years before Harry Potter is born.

'Please don't buy this if you're offered it,' tweeted the author.

The short story sold at a charity auction in 2008 for €30,000.

'Originally auctioned for @englishpen, the owner supported writers' freedoms by bidding for it,' she said.

It seems like the Harry Potter world will never die down.

It's been six years since the last instalment of the franchise debuted in cinemas, yet we all still hold a special place in our hearts for the characters.

And it looks like the author of the books, JK Rowling, is holding onto Pottermania too.

Earlier today she tweeted a confession: "OK, here it is. Please don't start flame wars over it, but this year I'd like to apologise for killing (whispers)… Snape. *runs for cover*"

And it's safe to say, everyone went crazy:

It’s no secret that Harry Potter has some pretty hard core fans.

The books and films have combined to become the most successful franchise of all time and even though the last film came out six years ago, the hype has never really died down.

You may identify as a Harry Potter super-fan, but in reality, you’ve got nothing on this girl.

Rebecca Sharrock, from Queensland, Australia, has memorised every word to every book.

Yep.

The 27-year-old is just one of 79 people worldwide to have a Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory (HSAM), giving her the ability to remember just about anything.

Back in 2015, Rebecca appeared on the Austalian TV show, 60 minutes, to have knowledge about the series tested.

She proceeded to shock viewers when the presenters asked her if she knew the opening line of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, chapter 17.

She then shocked viewers by proceeding to effortlessly recite the story word for word.

"Chapter 17 is the man with two faces, and it starts on "It was Quirrel. You? gasped Harry,"

…. And so on.

Rebecca has recently been back making headlines after she uploaded a blog post where she claims to remember being a newborn child.

She wrote: ‘’My earliest memory of which I can date is from when I was twelve days old. My parents carried me to the driver’s seat of the car (my father’s idea) and placed me down upon it for a photo.’’

"As a newborn child I was curious as to what the seat cover and steering wheel above me were. Though at that age I hadn't yet developed the ability to want to get up and explore what such curious objects could be."

According to Cosmopolitan, Rebecca is now working with a team of researchers the University of California, the University of Queensland, and the Queensland Brain Institute, in order to try to find out more about how her truly amazing memory works.

So, we've all seen Harry Potter about a million times already, right? Well, have you ever noticed Little Mix's Jesy Nelson in it?

Nope? You're in the same boat as us then.

It turns out that she was one of the extras in the background of the magical masterpiece.

Little Mix's Jesy Nelson - About a boy

The 25-year-old revealed that she was in Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire when she was just a wee young one.

Speaking on Australian Radio, Jesy said that she was featured as an extra during the Yule Ball in the fourth film.

Little Mix's Jesy Nelson - About a Boy

And she was very casual about it, simply saying, "Yeah, I was in Harry Potter."

But that's not it. The singer was also in About A Boy in 2002 alongside Hugh Grant and Nicholas Hoult.

Well, we learn something new everyday.

Okay, nobody panic, but there is a brand new Harry Potter event coming to Dublin in the very near future.

The Malahide Muggles Easter Academy is happening this Easter weekend at Malehide Castle.

While there may be no Womping Willows on the grounds, Malehide Castle is probably as close to Hogwarts as we're ever going to get in this country.

The event promises to be epic, with custom made wands and hunting for mythical creatures on the grounds on April 15.

Tickets for the event are a mere €7.00 for adults, and kids tickets are €12.00, so getting your OWLs is pretty affordable.

Those with knowledge of muggle technology can book in advance by calling 01-8169538.

Muggles can now play their very own Harry Potter game, but it's nothing like wizard's chess.

Online HP store Forbidden Forest Crafts have created a new game, which follows the same format as Cards Against Humanity.

The infamous game involves players completing fill-in-the-blank statements and prompt cards to create sentences, usually culminating in ridiculous and absurd statements.

The game is perfect for major Potter heads, who know the ins and outs of the books and movies like the back of their muggle hands.

The game creators leaked a few teaser cards from the deck, with one prompt card reading: “After months of practising magic, I think I’m finally ready for …..”

And the answer options: "Random red-headed splinched twat floating in the Room of Requirement" and "Having to explain to Madam Pomfrey why you used Engorgio on your d***." Too funny.

We'd love to get our hands on the game, but unfortunately, the Cards Against Muggles box set is currently sold out.

Hopefully the creators get some more sets produced ASAP.

Piers Morgan has been angering quite a few bibliophiles on Twitter in recent weeks.

Piers has been in a battle of 180 characters with JK Rowling for quite a while, as the two have had some political disagreements.

In the midst of the war of words, Harry Potter fans have begun tweeting Piers Morgan the contents of the Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone novel in it's entirety, and the journalist has had it up to here with the Hogwarts-themed tweets.

Seeking some respite, Piers tweeted Fifty Shades of Grey author E.L James, asking for a quote from her from one of her popular erotic novels.

E.L James proceeded to perfectly troll the journalist, by tweeting back a line from Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets.

Clearly missing the joke, Piers responded to the perceived dig with: "Fortunately none of your characters would ever risk over-exposure…"

The quote is, of course, not even from Fifty Shades of Grey, but is in fact from a scene in Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets between Defence Against the Dark Arts Professor Gilderoy Lockhart and Harry Potter.

Clearly E.L James has JK Rowling's back in this battle.

The Harry Potter author also made a pretty funny joke at Piers's expense on Valentine's Day, as she posted a gushing review about her contribution to children's literacy.

While JK Rowling feigned the anonymity of the post for the sake of satire, it was quickly revealed on Twitter that it was Piers Morgan himself who had written the piece a few years ago.

"I bet he's having a monumental trumpesque meltdown," replied one follower.

It might be time for Piers to take a little Twitter break now, no?
