Belle and Lord Voldemort? Never…

The idea of those two characters falling in love is completely and utterly wrong… or so we all thought. But, YouTube channel PistolShrimps has created a new love story, and it's actually quite brilliant.

The clip replaces the Beast with the Dark Lord, and mixes scenes from Harry Potter with the upcoming remake of Beauty and the Beast.

However, it's kinda difficult to watch Belle (*cough* Hermione Granger) fall for Voldemort, after… you know, all they've been through together. 

It's a magical twist, and a mash-up we didn't know we needed in our lives.

Look, when it comes to Twitter put-downs, J.K Rowling is a master of her craft.

From rejecting racist ideology with cutting one-liners to calling people out on their blatant hypocrisy, the Harry Potter author takes no prisoners (from Azkaban or otherwise) on Twitter.

Reminding the Twitosphere of her quick wit earlier this week, the author appeared to encourage a disgruntled Twitter user to burn her DVDs after he took exception to her stance on Trump's executive order.

Hitting out at the author, the Twitter user wrote: "Glad I caught this article on yahoo. I will now burn your books and movies too."

Ripping it out of her critic, J.K hit back with an invitation to go right ahead as he may be doing society a favour.

"Well, the fumes from the DVDS might be toxic and I've still got your money, so by all means borrow my lighter," she invited in a response which amassed a staggering 375,000 likes in one day.

And it didn't end there.

Responding to a tweet from a girl who said she burned her entire Harry Potter collection, J.K suggested that some people were beyond help.

"Guess it's true what they say, you can lead a girl to books about the rise and fall of an autocrat, but you still can't make her think."

Never change J.K, never change.

Harry Potter lovers have been teased and tormented by the revelation of a Harry Potter palette by Storybook Cosmetics.

The brand that brought us Game of Thrones makeup and Beauty and the Beast makeup brushes has been working on the Wizardry and Witchcraft palette for months, and it's finally almost ready for release.

The gorgeous, rich shades were finalised a few weeks back, but the spell book packaging needed to be perfected. 

The creators have done an amazing job, and the book palette wouldn't look out of place in Hermione's hands at the Hogwarts library.

The shades themselves are divine, from taupes and neutrals to deep emerald and navy.

The new eye shadows sit alongside wand themed makeup brushes and quill eyeliner on Storybook Cosmetics' website, so getting a magical makeup look is literally a click away. 

The palette will be released in the next few days, so keep your eyes on the prize because this one is sure to fly off the (Hogwarts) shelves.

Muggles and wizards alike will be overjoyed with this fabulous news!

On March 31, 2017, the Warner Brothers Studio Tour in London will open an amazing new expansion dedicated to the Forbidden Forest.

That's right friends, you will be able to stroll through the magical forest, and even meet Buckbeak (be sure to bow… #respect).

This new exhibit will include 19 massive trees, each one 12 feet wide, with gigantic roots and all that wonderful stuff.

The forest will also have controllable weather, which will keep things dark, misty and magical at all times.

As if the mystical forest setting wasn't enough, Harry Potter fans will also be able to see one of Hagrid’s original costumes and a full-size model of Buckbeak.

As you trek into the creepy forest, you will eventually meet Aragog, King of the giant terrifying spiders.

To be perfectly honest, if you took the most average venue in the world and threw some wizarding props in it- we would go. 

Harry Potter | ELLE UK JAN 2017

Seriously, any Harry Potter related ANYTHING is worth a look, or a visit.

With that in mind, we give you Platform 1094, a Harry Potter themed café located in the heart of Singapore.

The delightful little restaurant is decorated with patronous furniture, wizards hats, wand and so much more. 

The menu is also sheer magic, with a Goblet of Fire cocktail that actually lights up (amazing). 

There are also main courses, and a delightful array of baked goods that feature Harry Potter inspired decorations (chocolate frogs galore!)

All in all, Platform 1094 looks amazing, and we simply must visit.

This amazing Etsy seller has created a handmade Harry Potter version of Monopoly, and suddenly our lives are complete.

We genuinely cannot believe it, but Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone is turning 20 this year (feel old yet?)

Anyway, the good news is that in celebration of this anniversary, J.K. Rowling is doing something really special.

The angel who created the amazing Harry Potter series will be blessing us with a Harry Potter exhibition in celebration of this 20 year milestone.

The exhibition will include loads of really cool Harry Potter things, as well as archives from J.K. Rowling and her publisher, Bloomsbury.

The exhibit will open on October 20th of this year, and will be featured at The British Library.

Hold on to your hats, ladies; you are about to read the most important piece of news this year…

Recently, two Mumbai-based scientists discovered a new species of spider, and it looks EXACTLY like the bloody Sorting Hat.

The spider has been named Eriovixia Gryffindori after one of the Hogwarts founders, Godric Gryffindor (naturally).

“When we first saw the spider, our collective thoughts were, ‘It looks just like the Sorting Hat, from the films!’ Being on the same wavelength, we decided to name the spider, after Godric Gryffindor,” one of the scientists said to BuzzFeed.

Even the amazing JK Rowling was chuffed with new discovery, and even sent out a tweet:

The spider even made its way to Queen J.K. Rowling, who seemed mighty pleased with the little buggo.

Well now, there you have it.

It seemed like Harry Potter was exploding all over again before Christmas, and we have to say, we were a little bit disappointed when it came to the lack of HP movies on TV over the holidays.

But if you fancy getting into the wizarding spirit once again, you can go on this deadly pub crawl.

Many of these Harry Potter pub crawls have taken place in the UK, with it being sold out in the likes of Liverpool, London and Manchester, and now according to the Facebook event page, it's coming to Dublin and promises to be "the most magical event" to take place in the capital this year.

The crawl will take place on February 17, with tickets selling for €7.

With your ticket you'll be able to avail of a wristband which will allow you free entry into all venues, access to promotional drink prices, a professional tour guide, a free hand-crafted miniature wand, Gringotts vault raffle key and a Hogwarts Graduation Certificate at the after-party.

While we might (sadly) live in the muggle world, that doesn't stop us wondering what Hogwarts house we would have been sorted into, had we been granted the gift of a Hogwarts letter on our 11th birthday.

Seeing as we don't have access to Dumbledore's Sorting Hat, we'll have to opt for another method of house allocation, and what better way than a nice relaxing bath. 

The Sorting Hat bath bomb is officially in existence, and we couldn't be more excited.

The bath bomb is the brain child of Harry Potter fan Rebecca Lynn, a very crafty Instagrammer who spends her spare time making amazing bath creations.

The Sorting Hat bath bomb is an enchanting concoction of shea butter and grapeseed oil, which will not only make your skin silky smooth but will also give you a hint as to what Hogwarts house you are destined for. 

The bath bombs are a nondescript white, but once you drop them into your bubbling bath they turn your bath water a vibrant shade, revealing your house colours.

The shades are true to the novels, with red for Gryffindor, blue for Ravenclaw, yellow for Hufflepuff and green for Slytherin.
