So the internet went a little crazy yesterday when a video of Harry Styles ‘crying’ on stage just before the Zayn announcement emerged online.

However, the release of another video shows that Harry was NOT crying because of Zayn but because he actually got hit in the face with a glowstick –ouch.

The video shows Harry in visible pain after a glowstick is launched from the crowd, making him turn around and rub his eyes, making it appear as if he is in tears. 

While we're sure Harry was heartbroken over the news that his best friend is no longer his bandmate, it does seem as if this was not the reason he was crying on stage in Jakarta. 

Perhaps fans could stick to just throwing teddy bears next time!

It has been reported that the brief love affair is over for Harry Styles and model Nadine Leopold.

Though it was never confirmed that the couple were officially dating, it has been reported that the model finished things with Harry in order to concentrate on her career. Busy schedules have also been blamed as a factor for the break-up.

A source for Sugarscape have said that Harry is ‘gutted’ over the break-up, but mostly because he was dumped: “Harry is gutted. He’s never been dumped before so it’s a real punch in the stomach for him. Even though they can’t spend much time together, Harry was speaking to her a lot and making plans to fly her over to spend the summer with him.”

Ouch, looks like a short-lived romance for the One Direction heartthrob!

Meanwhile, Harry isn’t the only One Direction star dealing with break-up rumours as it has also been reported that Louis and his girlfriend Eleanor Calder have called an end to their relationship.

Yahoo! Celebrity have reported that the couple appear to be spending time apart at the moment, with Eleanor in LA while her boyfriend is in the UK.

Hmm, sounds like there is a lot of romance drama in the One Direction camp at the moment – chin up, boys!

The blossoming relationship between Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Martin has been the subject of much speculation over the last few months, but it seems the pair are finally ready to go public.

Before Christmas there were reports that the unlikely couple had split up as Chris spent more and more time with ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow and their children Apple and Moses.

But Jen and Chris reportedly made their first appearance at a high-profile event together over the weekend, when they both attended Harry Style's birthday bash in West Hollywood. According to Mail Online, the lovebirds were there as each other's dates. Hurrah!

The news comes just a month after the on-again-off-again couple were spotted enjoying a quiet dinner together at a sushi restaurant in Los Angeles. At the time, an onlooker said Jennifer and Coldplay frontman Chris "were engulfed in their little world of conversation… into each other and not noticing anyone else around them."  

Other guests at Harry Styles' no-expense-spared 21st party included Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner, Adele, Daivd Beckham, Kelly Osborne and Alexa Chung.

Harry Styles celebrated his 21st birthday over the weekend, and true to form it was a pretty epic party.

Celeb guests included Cara Delevingne, Kendall Jenner, Rita Ora, David Beckham, Kelly Osborne and tonnes more. If Harry had his way though, none of us would have known he'd even had a party, as all guests were banned from tweeting about the £200,000 (€265,000) event at West Hollywood club Lulu's.

While most guests seemed to stay quiet on Twitter, Instagram was awash with selfies and candid snaps from the night, so we doubt Harry was too happy about that.

Kelly Osborne posted this shot of a photo strip showing herself, Harry, Rashida Jones and Cara Delevingne having some fun:

While nothing too scandalous made it to social media, there are reports that Harry's pal Jeff Azoff accidentally left the party's guestbook in the back of a cab, which passengers later snapped pictures of.

We reckon there'd be some serious juice in there!

So it's Harry Styles' birthday today and how did dedicated 1D fans show their love for the big-haired, doe-eyed charmer?

They raised over $16,000 for a charity close to Harry's heart. Wow!

Harry is a long-time supporter of The London Lesbian and Gay Switchboard and it looks like the 21-year-old star's fans pulled out all the stops to honour their hero's big day.

Getting the ball rolling on Twitter, the dedicated fans encouraged one another to donate to the voluntary organisation and it certainly paid off.

Donations have been pouring in from all over the world and there's no doubt that fans dug deep for Harry's big day.

The singer has shown his support for gay rights in the past and even recorded a special anniversary message for the London Lesbian and Gay Switchboard on their 40th year in operation.

We can only imagine how overwhelmed Harry must be today!

It’s been two years since Taylor Swift and Harry Styles broke up after a four month relationship but it looks like things are far from friendly between the two!

In a video released by TMZ, the pair can be spotted inside the lobby of the Sunset Marquis Hotel in LA having what can only be described as a very awkward encounter. As Harry appears to enjoy a friendly conversation with one of Taylor’s group, the pop star can be seen staring intently at her phone and doing her best NOT to look at her ex.

We actually love how Taylor is basically all of us when we meet our exes out. 

It looks as if all of those rumours about them getting back together were very false. Unless something has happened since that we don't know about?! Ooh…we're already looking forward to Taylor's next album!

Over the last few months there have been a slew of rumours that One Directioner Zayn Malik is ready to pack his bags and say goodbye to the band, but now it seems Harry Styles could be considering a change of career, too!

Film producer Harvey Weinstein says he has offered Harry a film role in the past and he wouldn't hesitate to offer him another role in the future. The famous movie mogul told The Sun that Harry "doesn’t even have to audition for me."

Harvey said he thinks there's "no question" that the 1D singer will enter the world of movies. "I get from him that he wants to," said Harvey.

"He came to our Oscars party last year and then I went out to lunch with him. I’ve met him two or three times and he was very interested and charming. I think the guy is a movie star.”

It turns out Harry's cheeky good looks could translate well to the silver screen – Harvey describes him as a "a dashing rogue – a fun-loving, spirited kind of actor that used to be in England all the time."

However we wouldn't worry about the singer ditching 1D just yet, as he turned down a debut film role in Harvey's flick Tulip Fever due to musical commitments. "We offered him a part and he couldn’t do the movie because he had the tour," said the producer.

Harry Styles loves to show a bit of support for his fellow bandmates, but his recent display of, erm, ‘support’ for Niall has gained a LOT of attention from One Directioners.

Niall shared a photo of himself sticking out his tongue on his Instagram account and was instantly met with thousands upon thousands of comments – including one from Harry’s official account… The cheeky heartthrob wrote under Niall’s photo: “Can I sit on your face?” before adding another that read: “Please?”Oh, Harry! Very saucy indeed!

The comment has unsurprisingly sent One Direction fans into a total frenzy:

It looks like there’s a new lady in Harry Styles’ life and his fans have been expressing their grief on Twitter. 

The One Direction star was spotted out and about not once, but twice with Victoria’s Secret model, Nadine Leopold. The pair were seen getting some coffee in Starbucks and then again on a night out together in New York where the band were performing on Saturday Night Live. 

Although many fans have claimed that Nadine has a boyfriend, it seems she and Harry are very close indeed, as he was even spotted wearing her jacket for a while on the night out…hmm!

Back in November, the model was seen sharing a taxi with Harry after a restaurant date so it seems that Harry may indeed have found himself a new girlfriend!

Many fans are less than pleased at this news, and are sharing their displeasure on Twitter. We hope Nadine isn’t too sensitive!

Harry Styles had a big evening at last night's British Fashion Awards. Not only did he present Emma Watson with the coveted Style Award for 2014, but he also posed for THIS photo with the actress:

You know that awful sinking feeling you get when you see your ex coming towards you and there is NOWHERE to hide?!

Well, just be lucky there isn’t a camera there to catch your reaction like there was for poor Harry Styles and his ex-girlfriend Kendall Jenner!

Kendall was walking up a flight of stairs at the British Fashion Awards in London last night with her current BFF Cara Delevingne when they ran into Harry at the top. Harry is also rumoured to have dated the English model, though nothing was ever confirmed.

Keeping her friend close, Kendall smiled sweetly at Harry who awkwardly kept his gaze firmly on Cara for the entire exchange. Eek!

Another of Harry’s former loves, Taylor Swift, is also in London at the moment as she prepared to perform at the upcoming Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show tonight.

It sounds like Harry might be having more than one awkward run-in before this week is over!

We love a good on-again off-again love story, especially when it involves our gal Taylor Swift… and this one just keeps getting juicier.

After repeated rumours last week that a lovestruck Harry Styles sent his ex 1,989 roses to celebrate the release of her 1989 album, we thought the pair might be back on track for a reunion.

But Harry was questioned by Ellen DeGeneres when One Direction appeared on her show earlier today – and he's revealed the truth about the romantic stunt.

"I know about the rumour…but I don't know anything about the roses," said a slightly embarrassed Harry, when Ellen broached the subject.

Although the 1D star mightn't be chasing Taylor any longer, the two are definitely buds again after finally patching things up, according to a source close to the pair.

In another interesting twist however, the 1D star told Ellen he reckons "it might have been someone else" sending the gift and that he "falsely" took credit for it.

So… the search is on for T-Swift's secret admirer!
