Yup… we all know the feeling: heading back to work after a hollier is like the Sunday night fear times a million.

It's brutal, in fact.

There you are, just admiring your sun-kissed glow when you realise that your only clothes are bikinis and shorts, not to mention that there is NO food for breakfast – never mind for your packed lunch the next day.

And now – quelle surprise! – Aer Lingus has confirmed what we suspected all along: 40 percent of adults suffer from post-holiday blues.

The company released the figures today – and 44 percent of the same 1,000 surveyed individuals said that 'the fear' of returning to work is the worst symptom of their post-holiday come-down.

It furthermore takes pretty much everyone (nine out of ten people) a full two weeks to 'get over' their holiday and return to regular emotional health.

Still, two-thirds of those asked reported that they alleviated their gloom by… simply booking another holiday.

Aer Lingus released the figures to coincide with its Need Another Holiday Sale which starts at midnight tonight.

This sale includes flights to Britain from €20, mainland Europe from €30 and North America from €209.

And given that more than seven out of ten folk in the same report agreed that travelling abroad improves their mental well-being and general happiness… We're off to plan our next holiday!

The sale runs from September 14 on aerlingus.com.

One couple were taking a romantic snap on the beach, but after they had taken it they realised they had become the latest victims of photobombing.

The couple loved the picture and reached out to people online to ask them to photo-shop it to fix it for them.

Here's the original image, which shows the pair engaged in a serious smooch while a boy in the background is trying to catch a football.

Obviously they decided they wanted a copy of this moment, without the third part.

Several people volunteered to help, and some of the results are hilarious!

Some helpful people helped them keep the photo as romantic as possible by adding in a giant smiling dog or man with a hairy chest….

Thanks to photoshop, they have plenty of additions to their photograph…

Some Yugioh and wrestling characters even featured in the photographs and if that doesn't spell romance, then we don't know what does!

Cruise ships are getting more and more luxurious as the years roll on. Who hasn’t been tempted to hop aboard a giant floating hotel bound for the Caribbean at least once?

Well, people who suffer from sea sickness are probably not so inclined to book their tickets when pay day arrives. There’s one demographic that cruise ships have shunned up to now.

For some, the less than stable nature of the ocean and all of its wild glory can be just too tricky to stomach for weeks at a time.

However, now a genius have come up with the perfect way to ensure that everyone can enjoy their time at sea, without any of the nausea.

The Sun Cruise Hotel is a cruise shop that will never cause motion sickness. Why? How?

Well, rather than being located in the sea, it actually resides on a massive cliff overlooking the sea instead. Amazing.

Aside from the fact that is staying firmly on dry land, the hotel, is otherwise a precise replica of any other luxury cruise ship. There’s a revolving sky lounge, karaoke, a sea water pool and a volleyball court.

They also play wave sounds and birds’ calls over loudspeakers on the ship so it feels like you are out in the ocean.

So, next time you’re in Korea you know where to find the most unique of cruise experiences.

Do you know any students that can’t wait to pack up their bags and take off for some new adventures? If you do, then you should definitely consider letting them know about this new offer from KBC.

A recent survey has revealed that one in three students would consider transport their most significant expense. So KBC are stepping in to help the students out.

They’ve introduced a new ‘fly or cash’ initiative they allows students the chance to avail of free banking and a free return European flight. If they’re not feeling the wanderlust then the opportunity to get some cash is also available.

If you manage to fit in 10 debit card transactions before 2016, then you can receive a second free return flight, this also means there is the option to nominate a friend for to receive the second free flight.

Who doesn’t love a holiday with their friends? Even better, who doesn’t love a holiday with free flights?

Considering that over half of Irish students say that the cost of living is a regular source of worry, we imagine the chance to grab a free holiday will make plenty of students very happy.

Interestingly the survey also revealed that one in three students receive their spending money from their parents while three in every ten have part time jobs to fund themselves during their studies.

We imagine there will be sighs of relief from mammies around the country when they hear that they won’t be funding this year’s trip to Paris, or the long weekend for two to Budapest.

A group of pensioners have taken a novel approach to securing their dream holiday – namely going online and kick-starting a crowd-funding drive.

Their vacation aspiration was simple too: they hoped to travel by bus from their chilly Alpine village in northern Italy to Ugljan, a coastal resort in Croatia some 750km away.

Incredibly, much of the group has never even seen the sea before; those who have, haven't for many years.

All are members of the Circolo Rododendro – the local older person's club – and the women meet for a few hours, two afternoons a week.

Nicknamed the Funne, on their weekly agenda is the likes of bingo, playing cards, idle chat and sometimes even a spot of ballroom dancing.

"Ever since I've been a member of the club, people have been saying, 'Come on, let's organise a trip to the seaside!'" Erminia who, at 70, is the youngest of the group, told the BBC.

"But something always went wrong: one would get sick, another would have some other problem."

Their home of Daone has a population of around 500 people, many of whom grew up poor.

"Do you know some people haven't even been to Trento?" Iolanda, another member, explained referring to the nearest city 60km away. "I was 20 the first time I went." And she is unusual in so far as she has seen the sea – in 1977 when she worked as a nanny.

The Funne started fundraising for their dream a year ago by holding a cake sale at the village fair: sadly, the result was underwhelming.

However, it was there that they bumped into Katia Bernardi, a local film documentary maker who has been following their fundraising endeavours ever since.

On Katia's suggestion, they initially tried making a novelty calendar.

A professional photographer and make-up artist (for most, the first and last time they wore make up was on their wedding day) came on board but the calendar was a flop – something which the ladies themselves put down to local disapproval and envy.

They had almost given up hope when Erminia's grandson suggested crowd-funding on the internet. She initially thought he was mad.

"I said, 'Don't be ridiculous, who's going to give money to a bunch of old ladies who want to go to the seaside?' They'll say, 'If you want to go to the seaside, you can pay for yourselves.'"

Still, they saw donations flood in from as far away as London, New York and cities in Australia. Within three days they had more than doubled their target – money which was then used to take more women on the trip.

They have committed to sending all 350 of their donors a postcard too.

They chose their Croatian island destination because Ugljan has the same patron saint as Daone: the Madonna of the snow. The saint's day is celebrated on Wednesday; their coach left Daone yesterday.

They're the couple who rarely seem to stay in one place for very long.

And while Dubai remains a firm favourite for Mark Wright and Michelle Keegan, she has now revealed that they've identified a sun-soaked destination a little closer to home.

Writing her online blog for Hello magazine, the actress said that she's so in love with the island of Mallorca in Spain, that she's lost count of how many times she's been there.

"I love Mallorca and try to go whenever I can," she explained.

"I can’t actually count how many times I have visited, I think it must be around 20 or so times."

The 28-year-old went on to say: "It’s a beautiful island with so much to offer, and is such a short flight that you can just go for a night but feel as though you have had a proper little break."

She and her reality TV husband were there last week – with Michelle explaining that Mark had work lined up.

During their mini-break, they also took a break from the norm, opting to explore the sites and sounds of Palma rather than top-up their tans.

"Normally when we go away we relax and sunbathe but this time we decided to have a day out in the beautiful city of Palma and soak in all the Spanish culture!" she explained.

In the accompanying snaps, Michelle donned a white Lispy playsuit from her own collection with the label.

Splashing around in the Caribbean Sea mere days ago in a tiny bikini, few bystanders would have guessed her VERY exciting news.

But this evening, Coleen Rooney took to Twitter to reveal that she and her husband are expecting their third child.

The 29-year-old said in the same post that she is due in January.

The duo married in an incredibly lavish ceremony in Italy seven years ago and are already parents to two sons: Kai, five-and-a-half, and Klay, two.

Manchester United forward Wayne, 29, at the same time sent a similar message from his own Twitter account, saying: "Delighted that me and @ColeenRoo have our 3rd child on the way."

Speaking to Now! magazine earlier this year, Ms Rooney hinted that she was thinking of more children – and that after two sons, she'd love a daughter.

“I would love another baby! I don’t mind whether it’s a girl or a boy but I do think a little girl would complete our family.

“Wayne would love to have a girl because he grew up with brothers.”

And after weathering several relationship storms during their years together – including his infidelity – the teenage sweethearts ensure that they get some alone time too.

"Now that we have two kids, we make sure that we have time together," Coleen recently told Mail Online. "We make sure that one night a week we go out for dinner or go to the cinema."

Following a two week break in Barbados, one of the Rooneys' favourite holiday locations, the family returned to their home in the UK yesterday.

Looking forward to getting away with @coleen_rooney this week

It’s definitely safe to say that we wouldn’t want HIM nearby if we needed a helping hand!

Mariah Carey has been enjoying an extended vacay on a yacht with billionaire beau, James Packer.

But life proved to be a little less glamorous when the 45-year-old singer almost took a tumble down a flight of stairs during a stop off in Spain.

Thankfully a crew member was there to catch her hand and stop her from injuring herself… quite unlike her fella.

The 47-year-old Australian casino mogul didn’t break a sweat (or move a muscle) when his leading lady almost went flying.

James can be seen totally nonchalant as he sits back with his feet up looking on as Mariah struggles to stay upright.

The couple have been holidaying together for a month, and rumour has it that things are moving VERY quickly.

It was reported that the couple attended a ‘pre-engagement spiritual meeting’ in Israel last week, and have plans to soon get engaged.

We’re just wondering what the groom will do if Mariah falls at the altar!

It involves the passing of loose and watery stools more than three times a day and is caused by an infection called gastroenteritis and is often accompanied by uncomfortable cramps. Generally, the infection clears up in two to four days, however, there are ways to treat it to help suppress your child’s discomfort.

Tips for this include: washing your hands regularly as well as any surfaces and utensils, with hot soapy water. Separate raw and cooked foods, cook your food thoroughly, keep things refrigerated and be sure to dump food in the bin if it’s out of date!

Preventing travellers’ diarrhoea:

If you are travelling to a country that has low standards of public hygiene and there is a risk of water contamination, you may need to avoid the following food and drink:  Tap water, ice cubes, shellfish, eggs, salads, raw or undercooked meat, peeled fruit and ice cream.

So don’t let diarrhoea run your family holiday, remember to pack Tasectan and relax!

The relationship between Mariah Carey and her billionaire boyf James Packer is certainly moving fast.

Indeed, significantly the couple will today jump on his personal jet, making a journey to Israel.

There, according to TMZ, they will attend together a private “pre-engagement spiritual seminar”.

The spiritual leader organising the event knows James well, and it is said that the businessman trusts him and his advice implicitly. In fact, the Australian father-of-three, who is worth around €5bn, feels the meeting is a must before he asks Mariah to marry him.

However, once today has concluded, it will be very much full steam ahead with a proposal: friends of James, 47, believe that the duo will be engaged – and possibly even married – before the year is out.

They recently enjoyed a sun-drenched holiday in Capri off the west coast of Italy – thus confirming publicly for the first time their union.

Both James and 46-year-old Mariah, a mother-of-two, have been married twice before.

Ms Carey, herself worth some €450m, split from her husband Nick Cannon 18months ago, but their divorce has still to be finalised.

They arrived in Rome three days ago for a mother-daughter jaunt – and Reese Witherspoon and Ava Phillippe have already bumped into some very famous faces.

Dining at the well-known Il Bolognese near Pizza del Popolo in the centre of the city, they ran into none other than Valentino Garavani.

The 83-year-old designer, a native of Rome, looked dapper in a light tweed suit, blue shirt, and dark blue tie.

Meanwhile, the Oscar-winning actress wore a blue and white skirt, white top and white blazer. Her 15-year-old daughter, to whom she bears a striking resemblance, donned a white lace dress.

The duo, who are also joined by Reese’s own mother, Betty, have certainly been enjoying the sights and sounds of the Eternal City: both have been posting images to their respective Instagram accounts. Indeed, Ms Witherspoon's first post was of a delicious-looking pizza.

Reese, 39, seemed particularly taken with the churches on offer, singling out St Ignatius and St Peter’s as her favourites.

She, Ava, and Betty are staying at the swish, five-star Hotel Hassler near the Spanish Steps. There, the two-bed, 400sqm penthouse suite costs an eye-watering €15,000 a night.
