The wait has ended, the final three contestants who will be taking part in RTÉ One's hit show Dancing With The Stars have been revealed.

Ryan Tubridy was joined on The Late Late Show couch by legendary rugby hero Peter Stringer, country music goddess Cliona Hagan and Demi Isaac Oviawe, star of The Young Offenders, who each confirmed their new roles on the dance show.

Each of them spoke of their nerves and anticipation in terms of joining the show, which begin in the new year.

Speaking about his participation in the hit television show Peter Stringer said: “I’ve never danced on a dance floor before so going from that to dancing in front of a live audience will be a whole new experience for me. I’m nervous but up for the challenge!”

Country music star Cliona Hagan said: “I’m very excited, nervous, and a little apprehensive, but overall I’m feeling great and can’t wait to see how far I can push myself.”

The Young Offender star Demi Isaac Oviawe spoke of her desire to empower black Irish women:

“I’m so excited to be involved in this year’s show. I can’t wait to get started and learn a new skill. I’m hoping that I can be a role model for young black women in Ireland and maybe some might even follow in my dance steps!”

The full line up for series three of Dancing with the Stars is officially: Fred Cooke, Cliona Hagan, Demi Isaac Oviawe, Clelia Murphy, Mairead Ronan, Johnny Ward, Eilish O’Carroll, Denis Bastick, Darren Kennedy, Holly Carpenter and Peter Stringer

Jennifer Zamparelli and Nicky Byrne are the duo who will present the newest series of the show, which airs on RTÉ One for 12 weeks from Sunday 6 January.

The eleven celebrities will pair up with professional dance partners to step out of their comfort zones and compete to snatch the glitter ball trophy.

Brian Redmond, Loraine Barry and Julian Benson return again this year to judge the competition with the help of the viewing public.

Former Love/Hate star Johnny Ward has been confirmed as the eighth contestant for RTÉ One's Dancing With The Stars.

Known for his bad boy roles, the actor is choosing to take on his most challenging performance yet- on the dancefloor.

He made the announcement on RTÉ One's Today with Maura and Dáithí, saying that his sights are most definitely set on winning the coveted glitter ball trophy.

Speaking about taking part in the hit show, Johnny commented;

"For once I get to be a gentleman rather than a psychotic gangster, kidnapper or clamper! I’m really looking forward to joining the show and leaning a new skill. The nerves are there but I’m up for the challenge and loving every minute of the experience.”

Johnny will now join Clelia Murphy, Mairead Ronan, Eilish O’Carroll, Denis Bastick, Darren Kennedy, Fred Cooke and Holly Carpenter on series three of the show.

Former Dublin footballer, not to mention five-time All Ireland winner Denis Bastick has been revealed as the seventh contestant for this year's Dancing With The Stars.

The star sat down with The Nicky Byrne Show on 2FM live to comment on why he swapped his football boots for some dancing shoes to try his hand at winning series three's glitterball;

“I really feel that this will be a great experience for me. It is completely different than anything I have ever done before. Since retiring from Dublin football I always wanted to try new things, I never imagined that this would be one of those things though!"

Commenting further on his career so far, Bastick said;

"Football has given me a huge sense of accomplishment and DWTS is now presenting me with a massive challenge and the opportunity to accomplish something that is in such contrast to what I’m used to."

The contestant also expressed his nerves at the idea of competing at such a high level of dancing, but he's got a whole team of support from his Dublin GAA fanbase.

Speaking about the standard of dance which is expected of the show's participants, Bastick said;

"I am slightly overwhelmed at the task in hand having seen what the dancers can do. They have amazing, athleticism, rhythm and coordination. I have probably one of those qualities so I will really need to put the work in!”

Denis will join Clelia Murphy, Mairead Ronan, Eilish O’Carroll, Darren Kennedy, Fred Cooke and Holly Carpenter on series three of the hit show.

Jennifer Zamparelli and Nicky Byrne are this year's official presenters, and the series will air on RTÉ One for 12 weeks from Sunday 6 January.

Dancing With The Stars has a grand total of 11 celebrities, who pair up with their professional dancing partners as they cross their boundaries and try an entirely new talent.

Stepping onto the dancefloor to compete for the much-coveted glitter ball trophy, each pair will have a different dancing genre to master every week. The duos will have just seven days to perfect their routine before performing live on national television.

The expert panel of judges Brian Redmond, Loraine Barry and Julian Benson are returning again this year. The celebrities and their dancers will be scored by the judges and the viewing audiences at home.

The treats don't end there for viewers; Can’t Stop Dancing, the preview show hosted by Bláthnaid Treacy, will be back on our screens on Friday, 4 January on RTÉ One

"I’m sorry now that I didn’t stick with dance classes as a child. I’m normally dressed from head to toe in black and I’m finding myself in a glorious rainbow sea of glitter and sequins and Spanx! I’m so far out of my comfort zone but I kind of love it."

Clelia will join Mairead Ronan, Eilish O’Carroll, Darren Kennedy, Fred Cooke and Holly Carpenter on series three of the show.

Two more names have been confirmed for this year's Dancing With The Stars and we're very excited. Joining Mairéad Ronan, Darren Kennedy and Eilish O'Carroll will be former Miss Ireland Holly Carpenter and comedian Fred Cooke.

It was announced on RTÉ 2FM's Breakfast Republic this morning that the model and comedian have their eyes set on this year's Dancing with the Stars trophy. After much speculation the two stars revealed that they will strut their stuff on the dance floor for series three of the show.

Speaking about taking part in Dancing with the Stars this year, Holly said;“I'm so excited to do the show. I've watched the last two series religiously with my Mom. When I met the pro-dancers I was almost star struck, so I'm truly delighted to be part of it. This is going to be physically and mentally challenging and I'm slightly terrified, but overall I'm really looking forward to it.”

Fred commented: “I'm so happy to be taking part on Dancing with the Stars this year. When it comes to dancing, I'm full of passion but I don't have the technique. I'll do my best to try and get both right on this incredible show."

Since her stint on Celebrity Masterchef didn't last too long, Holly Carpenter has turned her head to a more glamorous endeavour… jewellery.

Yep, the Dublin native is set to launch her own jewellery line and has teamed up with designer Nicola Shields to create the collection.

A post shared by Holly Carpenter (@hollycarpenter) on

Nicola was previously the businesswoman and brains behind Pulse Accessories, and according to the Irish Mail on Sunday, Holly is "flat out" working with her.

A source told the publication: "Holly knows she is not a food blogger and she always wanted to find her niche. And she has, she loves art and creating and obviously she loves fashion and accessorising. So it's the perfect match."

We can't wait to see what Holly and Nicola come out with.

Our go-to girl for laughs and giggles, Holly Carpenter, was sent home from the Irish Celebrity Masterchef kitchen last night.

While the judges didn't fancy her Malteser cheesecake dessert (we, on the other hand, would have gobbled it down), Holly kept her head up high.

While speaking to Shemazing! last week, the model admitted that it would have been worse if it was a competition for something she actually did as a living.

"It's totally different from when I was on Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model. Like, modelling is what I do for a living, so if I messed up on that competition, I would have felt really bad about it.

"But I really chose to do Masterchef to have a bit of fun, learn a bit more about cooking and really challenge myself."

Moving on from all things food, it's safe to say that Holly has made herself into something of a Snapchat star in recent years, and with Kris Jenner and Ashton Kutcher fans of her work, we'll take any tips on how to become a star of the snaps.

So, how does Holly have such a huge fan base? Well…

She knows her target

"You have to figure out who you want to appeal to on Snapchat. What age group or what demographic? Are they into make-up, dogs, health or fitness? Who do you really want to appeal to and who do you actually want as a follower," says Holly.

She's selective

"At the stage I'm at now, I have brands contacting me, asking to collaborate. But sometimes you have to say no if they don't appeal to your audience. So, don't just put something up for the sake of it. You have to be really selective in the subjects you cover – especially starting off."

She talks

"I know this might sound silly, but I actually talk to my followers. It's 90 percent about what you say, and only 10 percent about the picture. I find if you talk to them and talk them through what you're doing, you'll see a big reward."

And for anyone who is only beginning their Snapchat career, Holly believes taking on board these seven tips will get you off to a great start:

  • Put your idea and what you want to do (to make you stand out from the crowd) down on paper
  • Write down what excites you first, and then what you think will excite your audience
  • Follow who you aspire to be like
  • Plan ahead – write down an outline of what you want to cover in the next week/month
  • Have a backlog – in case you're busy one week, you'll have something to go back to so your Snapchat doesn't run dry
  • Don't compare to others – everyone is at a different place in their life
  • Believe you can do it

Holly thinks it's all about longevity and hopefully with these little tips, you'll be soaring before you know it.

Holly Carpenter is a woman of many talents, not only is she former Miss Ireland and a killer model, but she also has food, beauty, fashion and yes, Snapchatting down to a fine art.

With Irish Celebrity Masterchef kicking off next Monday, January 16, Holly is ready to show her skills, although even she admits that her skills aren't that of a top chef.

"I'm a little bit competitive on the show, my skills were quite basic to start off with, but then again, it's not my job. If I owned a restaurant in Ireland, it would be totally different because that's a day-to-day job.

"But I really chose to do Masterchef to have a bit of fun, learn a bit more about cooking and really challenge myself."

If you follow Holly on social media, then you'll know all about her drool-inducing foodie snaps, and she insists that making food is pretty enjoyable to her – with the Instagram snaps being an added bonus.

"I really enjoy cooking and take my time with it. But, I'm not saying I'm the best. The stuff I make is pretty basic, like avocado on toast or oat pancakes. But add a few chilly flakes to your avocado and you have a cute picture to post on Instagram. So it all works out!

"It just shows that you don't need to be extremely skilled to have a healthy, tasty meal."

We couldn't agree more. How many of us totally forget those cooking skills we learned in Home Ec?!

And as for where she gets her love for cooking? Of course, it was her mam.

"My mum was always cooking and baking. That's where I get my love for desserts from. She was always making desserts and I would get to decorate them with her."

Holly admits that it's either "go hard or go home" when it comes to indulging in sweet treats like her mother's desserts.

"I can't just have a piece of chocolate and then stop eating it. If I'm going to have something unhealthy, I might as well just eat it all. It's go hard or go home with food for me."

A photo posted by Holly Carpenter (@hollycarpenter) on

But the model still keeps her great shape and puts that down to not being too strict on herself and having cheat days.

"I have intended cheat meals, whether it's pizza or cake, like, I won't say no to it. But I have those specific days when I know I'll be able to indulge in something.

"Especially over Christmas, it's so hard to avoid over-eating. There's so many dinners, and drinks and nights out. It's just about putting back in some control now."

A photo posted by Holly Carpenter (@hollycarpenter) on

And as for what we can expect from her Masterchef debut?

"You'll see that I can get a little bit flustered at times, but I was still kind of competitive. It's totally different from when I was on Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model. Like, modelling is what I do for a living, so if I messed up on that competition, I would have felt really bad about it.

"But I really just wanted to challenge myself with this one, and you'll see what happens."

Sure, isn't it normal to get a bit flustered? We can't wait to see what Holly cooks up on Monday, and even more so, we can't wait to see the little bit of mischief she'll bring to the show.

Glittery eyes OR red lips? The question many of us ask ourselves BEFORE we sit down to do our make-up.

A dramatic eye looks good with a LBD but so does a festive lip – so what's a girl to do?

Well, according to former Miss Ireland turned beauty and lifestyle blogger, Holly Carpenter, you should do BOTH – if you want to, that is.

A photo posted by Holly Carpenter (@hollycarpenter) on

"We are surrounded by negativity every day; it's time to celebrate that we are all different," Holly told SHEmazing

"My face can wear a lot of make-up so a dramatic eye and red lip looks well, but it's not the same for everyone."

Encouraging everyone to go with what they want, the 25-year-old confessed that it can be "intimating" and totally "depends on the individual".

A photo posted by Holly Carpenter (@hollycarpenter) on

The eye or lip dilemma is just one question that Holly answers in her brand new and exclusive online series, What Would Holly Do?

Inundated with beauty questions on Instagram and Snapchat, the blogger was approached by RTÉ Player to answer major queries in a four-part series that sees her creating festive looks as well as giving tips on helping your look stay fresh all day.

"I love how make-up has the power to give women a boost of confidence and can help to make them feel good about themselves," Holly said.

"I think there's a huge amount of pressure on women these days to look perfect. I want to spread the message that we all struggle with self confidence sometimes and that's OK, but I think we all need to be a bit kinder to ourselves.”

Each video is just a few minutes long, making them pretty handy for watching on the commute to college, but Holly admits that it is something that could grow – maybe even to the telly.

However, with plenty of future endeavours lined up – one including a trip to LAPLAND just before Christmas – and another that she wanted to keep under-wraps, Holly has plenty to keep her busy for the next few months anyway.

What Would Holly Do? is the latest addition to RTÉ Players collection of online only, exclusive content. Holly joins comedian, Pamela Joyce, Chef Adrian, Roz Purcell, Indy Power as the latest online contributor.

She's the former Miss Ireland who's already courted attention from the likes of Ashton Kutcher and Kris Jenner (not to mention Instagram playboy Dan Bilzerian).

And now 24-year-old Holly Carpenter has caught the eye of another mega-star… and this time it's none other than Oscar winner Jamie Foxx.

Despite being close to a year old, once again it's her hilarious "What she's really saying on SnapChat," blog post that has everyone talking.

Mr Foxx, who has some 9.4million likes from fans on his official Facebook page, this morning shared an article which details Holly's now famous observations – but he's certainly not the first celebrity to laud the Dublin model's sense of humour.

Ashton Kutcher did the same last October, while Kris Jenner got in on the act in January.

Furthermore, back in the autumn of 2014 she and social media lothario Dan Bilzerian shared some flirty private messages on Twitter in the aftermath of her split from rugby star Cian Healy.

"I was delighted to see Jamie share the post," Holly told SHEmazing! this evening.

"It's nearly a year old now and has also been shared by Kris Jenner, Ashton Kutcher, MTV and E! News.

"It's a bit mental but it's great to see they all appreciate the Irish sense of humour of slagging ourselves."

Ms Carpenter is currently dating Coronas frontman Danny O'Reilly and the duo recently enjoyed a romantic mini-break to Kerry.

Long known for her Rapunzel-like blonde tresses, Rosanna Davison took everyone by surprise three weeks ago when unveiled her brand new look: significantly shorter hair sliced up to her shoulders.

"Chop chop!! Thanks to @ceiralambert for the new hairdo," she told her 107,000 Instagram fans late last month while also sharing a snap of her gorgeous gruaige.

"Still have my @goldfeverhair in for volume but nice to have a change."

Suffice to say that here at SHEmazing Towers, we are BIG fans of the former Miss World's revised hair-do. In fact, we dare say she's never looked better.

We're not the only ones either, for it now transpires that a host of big names are eagerly following in nutritionist Rosie's stylish footsteps.

First out of the traps was model Holly Carpenter. "Bit of a change for the weekend," she revealed less than a week after Ms Davison took the plunge.

"Got my @goldfeverhair out and a bit of a chop (my own hair has grown so much while my last set were in)."

Then late last week, Irish hairdresser to the stars, Maurice Flynn, shared a snap of Georgia Penna on his Instagram page.

Gave @georgiapenna a good chop. I love this length on her! What a babe

A photo posted by Maurice Flynn (@mauriceflynn) on

The model and recent mother-of-two looked seriously amazing with her formerly long locks cut up to just below her shoulders. "I love this length on her," Mr Flynn declared. "What a babe."

Meanwhile, over the weekend Michele McGrath, also a model, showed off her short and sexy style. "Thanks for my new bob @ceiralambert," she declared. "Love it."

It remains to be seen who the next starlet to embrace a shorter style will be – though we reckon that one-time Miss Universe Ireland Roz Purcell would look all sorts of fabulous with a bob.

And regardless of who goes for the chop next – it's definitely official: the 'Rosanna' is the hottest hair trend going right now.
